Los animes
Hola, últimamente me di cuenta de que cuando escribo aquí sobre algo que me interesa mucho, lo encuentro mucho más fácil escribir cada día. Así que hoy quiero escribir sobre una otra de mis pasiones: los animes. Yo sé que estos tienen una reputación bastante mediocre a causa de la comunidad de personas extrañas en Internet pero os aseguro que la mayoría de personas que aman a los animes son muy normales.
En primer lugar, encuentro que los animes son una forma de arte muy interesante. En Europa y los EEUU, estamos acostumbrados a llamarlos "cartoons" pero películas sin actores físicos como las de Disney o Pixar también podrían ser consideradas como los "animes". Además, cada anime tiene su propio estilo artístico, lo que encuentro muy divertido cuando estás descubriendo un nuevo anime. Por ejemplo, de una manera general, los animes románticos tienen muchas decoraciones y un estilo suave y con muchos colores, pero los animes de acción se enfocan en los personajes y sus acciones. Hay también los animes de horror, de misterio, de cocina, de musica, de videojuegos, y siquiera los animes sobre cómo crear los animes.
Podría hablar sobre los animes durante horas así que me parecía un buen tema para escribir hoy. Disculpa para todos que no soportan los animes pero creo que en mis próximas entradas hablaré más de mis animes preferidos y de lo que me gusta y de lo que no me gusta en los animes. También para los que son fans como yo, si tienen algunas recomendaciones, escríbanmelo :)

Zweibeinige Mücken
Etwas hat am letzten Musikfest in Frankreich den Spaß ein wenig verdorben.
Dutzende Frauen (vor allem in Paris) haben sich darüber geklagt, sie seien von Unbekannten „gestochen“ worden. Einige von ihnen sind sogar in Ohnmacht gefallen. Dieses Phänomen ist in der Tat nicht neu, und wurde lange auf Nachtlokale beschränkt: Räuber spritzten Frauen Drogen ein (sehr oft GHB), um sie sexuell zu missbrauchen. Das Phänomen hat sich verbreitet und nun geht es darum, so viele Unbekannte wie möglich in einer Menge mit einer Spritze zu stechen. In den sozialen Netzwerken gibt es echte „Stich-Herausforderungen“.
In unserer Welt versuchen Genien, Kaltfusionsreaktoren zu entwickeln oder große ökologische Probleme zu lösen. Allerdings haben andere Genien, diejenigen der sozialen Netzwerke, die ganze Macht ihrer superstarken Gehirne benutzt, und sind mit „Stich-Herausforderungen“ gekommen...
Zum Glück hat sich die toxikologische Untersuchung der Opfer negativ erwiesen. Es scheint, dass es in den Spritzen nichts gab. Das bedeutet aber nicht, dass sie gefahrlos waren: Schmutzige Nedel können schwere Krankheiten übertragen. Und ich rede noch nicht einmal über die psychologische Folgen für die Opfer (Stress, Angst, Paranoia...).
Unsicherheit in Frankreich ist heutzutage ein großes Problem, und auf dieser Ebene gibt es natürlich viel Schlimmeres, aber wenn man dazu auch den gewöhnlichen Blödsinn der sozialen Netzwerke ertragen muss, dann wird die Lage wirklich schwierig...
Ich hoffe, dass ein gutes Insektizid für diese zweibeinigen Mücken bald gefunden wird!

Civil rights-a review
I recently listened to an interesting podcast on Witness History, talking about an event that shocked many people in the 60'.
On 18th June 1964, on a motel in St Augustine, a group of black activists jumped into a pool reserved only to white people, not knowing the terrible fate waiting for them. It all started with one of the most relevant figure in the movement of BLM, Martin Luther King. As known, the life of black people in Florida wasn't good at all: they were discriminated and treated like animals, without respect. Many people coundn't stand this anymore, so they managed to organise a protest with the help of Martin Luther King, that would hopefully change something.
Only some days later the plan was acted. A very large group of activists jumped in the pool reserved only to white people, creating a huge chaos. The manager was informed, and tried to stop them, but they wouldn't listen, so he took a fatal decision: he started pouring two large bowls of acid in the pool. The terror was scatenated, everyone was moving around screaming for help. The police arrived and jumped in the pool to save who wasn't able to escape, and managed to make sure no one died.
From my perspective, this is one of the most terrible side of history, but this doesn't justify the fact that everyone has forgotten this day. I would like to spread more awareness about this topic, so I suggest everyone to listen to this podcast and reflect about this event.

A New Goal
Last night, I uploaded a new video to YouTube. Then, I noticed an interesting point: some of my voiceovers are displaying incorrect words in the automatic subtitles, which made me feel funny and laugh a lot. And also, it made me realize that I had some problems while saying those words.
This morning, I decided to update my English-learning habit. I'll dub the videos in English and then check the subsequent automatic subtitles, instead of just writing introductions for the videos.
My new goal is that the automatically recognized subtitles are exactly the same as what I wanted to say.
If you watch the video, feel free to laugh at my pronunciation as I did. I'd appreciate it if you could tell me how to improve.

Los cuentos de Beedle el Bardo – Resumen y reseña
Los cuentos de Beedle el Bardo, de J.K. Rowling, fue el tercer y último libro que leí fuera de la saga principal de Harry Potter. También es el más distinto, ya que fue escrito muchos años después de los dos primeros y refleja varias características de su estilo más maduro. Como indica su título, el libro contiene cinco cuentos de hadas del mundo mágico, recopilados y registrados por Beedle el Bardo (algo similar a los relatos de los hermanos Grimm en la vida real). El quinto cuento es La fábula de los tres hermanos, que fue recontado en su totalidad en Las reliquias de la Muerte y desempeñó un papel fundamental en la historia.
Aunque es el más diferente y carece un poco del humor característico de los otros dos, este es mi favorito de los tres. Me encantan los cuentos de hadas y creo que es fiel a ese estilo narrativo. Puede que sea un poco parcial, pero diría que el mejor de los cinco es La fábula de los tres hermanos. Dada la naturaleza algo arcaica del lenguaje, lo situaría en un nivel intermedio sólido, ligeramente más alto que los dos anteriores, pero aun así lo recomiendo encarecidamente a cualquier fan de la serie.

My first day
I just started using this app to improve my English. I’m not sure how it works or if someone will correct my diary, but I’ll do my best to keep going. Here’s the diary I wrote today. I hope someone notices this diary.
I’m starting to write a diary. I’m not sure how long I’ll be able to keep it up, because I usually have a hard time sticking to things.
Today, I had an interview at a Japanese restaurant on Victoria Drive. The shift manager kept emphasizing that they value candidates who can speak English well. She asked me questions like, “Have you ever dealt with difficult customers? How did you handle the situation?” and “If you face a situation where the phone is ringing, customers are waiting for the bill, others are asking for tea and a guide, and the table is messy — what would you do?”
I wasn’t satisfied with my answers. I kept using the same words and grammar. At the end of the interview, I asked her what the correct answer was, and she said there’s no right answer — they just wanted to test my English skills. She also said, “We have a few other candidates, so if you pass, we’ll contact you.” From my experience, when I get that kind of comment, I usually don’t get the job.
How can I improve my English? It’s been over a year since I came here, but I don’t feel like I’ve improved. It’s embarrassing. I’m a lazy person.
Tomorrow is my second training day. I’m afraid I might get fired.

Cena
Ho appena preparato la mia cena, qualcosa semplice, un tè caldo al limone, un sandwich e yogurt di mela. voglio avere una sera tranquilla prima di andare a dormire. Magari medito o faccio un po’ di yoga. Voglio anche esercitare con la chitarra (penso che non l’ho detto correttamente), ma mi sono rapidamente frustata perché è ancora difficile. Domani inizierò a insegnare inglese a la mia cugina, non sono insegnante ma forse posso aiutarla.

“Capitalist Realism”
I recently started reading a book called “Capitalist Realism” by Mark Fisher. I just finished reading Chapter 1, but found it very difficult to understand, so I got help with the content from ChatGPT. As I understand it, the author is proposing the following about the current situation in capitalist society in Chapter 1:
The influence of capitalism on the modern mind and social structure is overwhelming. Success in modern capitalism is measured only on the narrow scale of wealth, prestige, and social status, so very few people qualify as winners, and most people are considered unsuccessful losers. Everyone is wired to feel like they're losing. While independence and freedom, which are not found in totalitarianism, are held up as ideals, people have no choice but to accept the reality that a society other than capitalism is impossible to imagine, and they fall into a state of social slavery. Respecting independence dismantles communities and weakens networks of mutual support, leading to an increase in people who are physically free but mentally lonely.
At first, I was impressed by the author’s pessimistic views, but later I felt a little convinced because one of my acquaintances, a jewelry shop manager, always complains that she must buy the products from her store when she can’t meet her monthly sales targets. She must follow the company's orders if she doesn't want to quit her job. It’s a shame that she cannot buy and wear any other companies' jewelry and it may remain the same until she retires. As Mark Fisher says, she is forced to live in a capitalist society that enslaves her.

Fahrrad benutzen in Mexiko
Hier ist es seltsam zu sehen, Leute mit Fahrrad, meistens benutzen sie es im Park, zu nahe gelegenen Orten zu gehen oder Sport zu machen. In der Nähe des Hauses meiner Großmutter gibt es eine Universität, und draußen wimmelt es von Motorrädern, aber kein Fahrrad. Wenn man kein Auto oder Motorrädern haben kann, dann muss man mit dem Bus fahren. Es ist nicht sicher überall mit dem Fahrrad zu fahren, deshalb kann man es nicht benutzen. In Mexiko-Stadt habe ich mehr Leute mit Fahrrad und mehr Fahrradwege gesehen. Ich finde es aber toll, dass es in Deutschland sehr üblich ist, Menschen zu Fuß oder mit dem Fahrrad zu sehen, das ist gut für die Umwelt und für die Gesundheit.

Jaque mate en dos jugadas
Hoy leí el cuento "Jaque mate en dos jugadas" de Isaac Aizemberg y ¡santo cielo! No voy a revelar el final porque este relato merece ser leído en total. Aunque es posible que este cuento de Aizemberg sea lo más largo que he leído hasta ahora, realmente no hubo ninguna batalla como las que había encontrado antes.
"Jaque mate en dos jugadas" fue escrito en el punto de vista de la primera persona y el narrador es el sobrino de un tío supuestamente malvado. ¿Y cuáles eran las quejas de Claudio, el sobrino? Eran que su tío no le daba dinero para jugar y apostar, que exigía que jugara ajedrez con él y tomara notas extensas en cada partida y que no era amable con su hermano Guillermo y su esposa. Por eso, decidió matarlo con veneno. La noche del asesinato, Claudio salió más temprano que de costumbre porque su tío quiso jugar ajedrez a solas. Arregló cosas para que el tío muriera mientras que él había salido y su plan funcionó perfectamente. Sin embargo, al caminar por las calles tuvo la comprensión de lo que había hecho lo convertiría en asesino. Este pensamiento era más de lo que podía soportar y pesaba mucho en su alma.
Volvió y vio que la policía se había encargado de la casa de su tío. Un inspector le pidió a Claudio una entrevista, en la que le preguntó si habían jugado esa noche como siempre. Cuando contestó que sí, el inspector le dijo que no había notas en la libreta para los partidas que se habían jugado esa noche. Claudio mintió--no habían jugado esa noche como de costumbre porque el tío jugó solo. A través de esta revelación Claudio confesó haber matado a su tío, pero no predecirás lo que el inspector le preguntó después...

Je vous écris pour vous remercier encore une fois pour la menthe et la courgette.
Hier, j’ai récolté de la menthe pour la première fois pour faire une sauce traditionnelle pakistanaise à la menthe.
Je voulais aussi vous donner une mise à jour sur mon potager. La courgette commence à produire les fleurs, mais je pense que je l'ai plantée trop près de l’autre plante de courgette (oh no). Cela dit, je crois qu’il y a toujours quelque chose à apprendre pour le printemps prochain.
Merci encore pour vos conseils. Je joins une photo de mon potager, prise aujourd’hui juste avant la pluie.

El pais que he visitado que mas me gusto
Hola todos!
El pais que mas me gusto de todos que he visitado sería Italia. Pase un mes en Italia, pero hice un voluntario en Napoli por dos semanas y siento que eso influyó mi opinion. Creí un hogar fuera de mi pais. Mi voluntario era en una hosteleria y mi trabajo basicamente era segurarme que todos se estaban divertiendo. Eramos como una familia grande y unida. Tambien me gusto la cultura de estar afuera, hablando con la gente en los barres o simplemente poder estar sentada por horas con un cafe. Ademas puedes caminar por todo la cuida. Todo es muy cercano y acesible. En mi pais no es asi, solemos ser muy individulistas y tienes que tener un coche o no puedes ir a ninguna parte. Los Italianos son buena onda y muy amables tambien.
