Hi guys, I have no idea what to do. My friends and I have rented a cottage for one weekend, we really get on well with each other and I'm certain that we will spend a really good time there. You could be thinking, what's de problem here? Well, this summer I've spent lot of money during my holidays because I've travelled so much and I wasn't able to work in summer because the catering I worked for doesn't organise any weddings during this season.
The weekend that my friends are going to do this trip is the same as the catering comes back so I don't know what I should do, I need the money but I don't want my friends to be angry with me.

After following the footprints, Alok and Anna reached the riverside. The footprints disappeared, as if the person had gone into the river.
Then Alok said, “How do we find the person in the river? His blood and footprints have vanished!”
Anna, with a distressed expression, replied, “I… I don’t know what to do.”
Suddenly, they heard a very painful noise — the scream of a human crying for help. They quickly followed the sound to rescue the person.
When they reached the place and saw the situation, they were shocked. In a frightened voice, Alok said, “Oh my God! A person is sucking blood from the neck of another human! Is it a vampire? We should help the person!”
Anna whispered, “Stay quiet! You can’t defeat that creature. Anyone who sucks blood isn’t vampire… I think it’s the same jackal , whom you kill in the jungle.”
Alok, angrily, replied, “Then what should we do? Can’t you see the person being attacked is almost dead?”
Anna answered, “The person is already dead. We need to hide behind the tree and wait to verify if it is the same Jackal or something else .”

A few days ago, I read a wonderful English poem titled My Symphony. If you haven't read it yet, you can see it here:https://www.yourdailypoem.com/listpoem.jsp?poem_id=932
However, I have two questions.
Firstly, who exactly wrote it? I found there are two versions of the writer, William Henry Channing and William Ellery Channing.
Then, I'm confused about the meaning of 'wealthy' and 'rich'. I was taught that rich has a wilder meaning than wealthy because the latter just focuses on the
money and possessions.
Would you please help me figure these out?

Hello,
Thank you for your email. In my free time I usually play video games or also ride my bike in my garden. I usually relax when I play video games.
Yes, this Sunday I am free. I don’t have any problem. But in the morning I’m not free, I have a medical visit in a clinical not far away.
For me going shopping in the centre or to a park doesn't change anything, for this you can ask Lily, she is very reliable.
Sorry, but in the evening I’m going to have a dinne with my Grandparents in the centre of a country not far away.
I hope you answer me as soon as possible.
Thank you for reading
Goodbye

It’s important for small children to communicate with a mobile phone, because it is important to let him learn about digital well-being very soon. But it’s very important not to give it to him just to give him a distraction. I think the right age to have a mobile phone is ten for those things. I think that use must be checked by the parents or the siblings, I think the I think they should have the app for chats, calls, photos, writing, reading, listening to music and searching online.

My favorite artist is Guy Dessapt. He has painted amazing oil paintings. The first time I encountered his art is when I was 14, since then I've been fan of his arts. He is the one of reason I started to oil paint, and I would like to paint magnificent works like his arts.

Hi!
My name is Hamta and I am new here. Im starting this journey of writing to improve my English. My aspiration for this decision, was to start teaching kids English, also to make some money from it. so here I am ,enthusiastic about improving myself.
I first became interested in English mostly because of my mom. But later I found my own reasons, specifically the one I mentioned about teaching English myself. So far, Ive learned English by going to classes, watching sitcoms without subtitles(like friends and HIMYM),and reading books written in their original language.
My future goal is to reach a fluent level of speaking or perhaps to study abroad. Besides studying English,i also enjoy listening to music-specially jazz- and painting.
That was it for my first post.
Thank you very much, have a great day.

Today I would tell you about my life experience, it was go karting. I was seven years old, I was in the kart circuit of Osio Sopra. I was with my two cousins, my uncle and my father. We did a qualification and a short race, I finished the qualification in the fifth position but in the race I finished third above my uncle and my cousin. After that I felt really excited and full of adrenaline. This was a great test of my courage, especially since I was still very young.

Hi Ben,
Thank you for your email. Your photos are great, you and your family are beautiful. Yesterday I sent you two photos.
In the first photo, I’m the tall one, because my parents aren’t very tall, I’m blonde and thin. Between me and my mum there is my father, he is short, slim and with brown hair. My mum is short, slim and with blonde hair. And the another one is my sister, she is short and thin, she is ten.
When I were twelve, I was short and very thin, I was very extrovert however today I am very introvert.
Best wishes.
Good bye

lalala, I'm in the mood! Why do i look like so great? The answer is I have addicted to serious TV. Do you like serious TV? What type of TV is your favorite. Just let me know, pal. Since I began watching TV, I got enormous raw words that I had never seen to improve my explanation. I love that context in TV. Every sense, sentence, and plot is perfect! But someone says that not a good idea to enhance my English skills? Because they told me that I would waste so much time on the stories instead studying. I just want to listen more people who posts here. Just feel free to contact me! Put your ideas on the feedback sqaure.

The first time I visited Huangshan was in 1997. That year I was just transferred to a new department to be in charge and there was a work meeting on Huangshan soon after.
I went to Huangshan with my wife and my son who was only seven years old. When we arrived at Huangshan and got out of the bus, many people followed us to ask us to book rooms in their hotels, which made us upset and we put a lot of effort into getting rid of these people.
Since we were not rich back then, we didn't take the cableway to climb the mountain; we only hiked the mountain. Huangshan is known for its wondrous pines, strangely shaped stones, sea of clouds and hot springs.
On our way, there was a narrow path. Below it there was a deep cliff. Many people stopped there and shouted loudly to express their amazement but didn't move forward. I realized some potential risks and shouted to them to leave that place quickly.
The scenery on Huangshan was very beautiful. We saw the "flying stone", Yuping Lou, the Guest - Greeting Pine and some other very famous scenic spots.
On the way back to the base of the mountain, our legs felt sore and we could not lift them up. It was then that I really understood an old Chinese saying "it's easy to hike up a mountain but difficult to get down."
It seemed like it was the first time I had visited a tourist attraction with my wife and my son.

As a man in my 20s, I still watch animations from time to time. Not the animations for adults like Attack on Titan or South Park, but for kids, or do you call it cartoon? However, in here, old people tent to think all animations are for kids. I still remember there was this time I was caught by my granpa watching Jojo when he visited me at my house. He was surprised that I'm still watching cartoon at this age. Eh, better than dumb TikTok shorts, which they watch all day long. Anyway, my favorite cartoon is Avatar: The Last Airbend. Even though it's not popular here, I'm glad I found this one on Netflix. I watched it again and again. I even got improved my English by doing that. I think it helps that cartoon using simple, elementary words and sentences. But don't get me wrong, I watch dramas as well. Yes, ladies and gentlemen, I present you — Avatar: The Last Airbender the live-action version released in 2024 by Netflix! Kek, big fan.
