An English Post
I bought a tricycle last winter. Before that, I rode my bike to work and back.
During the winter, it's too cold where I live.
Whenever I rode a bike to work, the knife - like wind made my nose run and my hands numb. I endured this situation for several years before I finally made the decision to buy a tricycle.
My tricycle is similar to a small car. It almost has everything that a car has. It has two doors, one on each side. The carriage can prevent the winter wind from blowing straight into my face. So it's very comfortable to drive in winter.
If it's summer, I can roll down the two windows on the doors and open the sunroof to get cooler.
I do have a car, but I really don't like to drive it to work. Whenever I drive my car to work, I can't find a free parking space, and sometimes I will get traffic tickets. Furthermore, buying gasoline is also a big expense.
My tricycle is not a motor tricycle. Instead, it's an electric tricycle, which is driven by a set of batteries.
A full charge for the tricycle takes around 10 hours and it can run for about 60 kilometers.
The distance between my apartment and my office is 7.5 kilometers, and I need to go to my office twice every day from Monday to Friday. The charging fee for my commute is about 2 Chinese yuan every day, which is so economical to me. I like my tricycle so much.

Un consejo para aprender un idioma
Para alguien que quiera aprender un idioma, yo recomiendo leer libros, ver vídeos y escuchar podcasts en el idioma. Por ejemplo, podéis escuchar el pódcast de Spanish Language Coach porque habla sobre muchos temas como la cultura española, otras culturas, la adicción a la comida ultraprocesada, el TDAH y los libros. Él habló sobre estos libros, “El Proceso” de Franz Kafka y “1984” de George Orwell. Cuando escucháis los podcasts en YouTube o Spotify, podéis anotar vocabulario y frases útiles os ayudarán a comunicarte mejor.
No tengas miedo de cometer errores, porque los errores son parte del aprendizaje. Cuando escribís un texto en español, podéis escribir sin preocuparte cometer errores. Después de escribir un texto, podéis corregir vuestros errores con ChatGPT, LangCorrect o Journaly. Las personas a LangCorrect y Journaly pueden corregir vuestros textos y dar sugerencias para mejorar.

An English Post
I have a teacup, which mainly consists of three parts:
the main one is a glass cup, which is at the lower part of the teacup, with a capacity of about 200ml, and contains my tea.
The second part is a very small glass cup at the top of the teacup, and its opening is facing down, which is used to contain tea leaves, so that the tea leaves won't always be in my tea after the tea is made.
The third part is actually a connecting part, which connects the glass cup and the small glass tea leaves container. Inside the connecting part, there is a 304 stainless net, which blocks the tea leaves from entering my tea. Outside the connecting part, there is a plastic circular ring, which can rotate around the connecting part. At one point of the ring, it is attached to a plastic strap, so that I can either grab the teacup directly or just hold the strap.
When I make tea, I remove the small tea leaves container from the connecting part, put an amount of tea leaves in it, then I screw the container back. Next is to pour boiling water into the big glass cup, and screw the connecting part onto the cup, and then put the whole teacup upside down for a few seconds.
During this time, the boiling water in the cup will flow into the tea leaves container through the stainless net because of gravity, so the tea is made.
Seconds later, turn back the whole teacup and wait for the tea to cool to room temperature, then I can enjoy my tea.

Watermelon, a Mediocre Fruit スイカはそんなに好きじゃない
Watermelon is a fruit that represents summer. Personally, I'm not very fond of it. When I was a child, my mom used to put slices of watermelon on the table for dessert. I would eat one slice, but I never touched a second.
Let me explain why. First, it has too many seeds. Other fruits, like kiwi or melon, also have lots of seeds, but they are either edible or easy to remove. I don’t mind a single large seed, but it’s frustrating when there are numerous small, inedible seeds scattered throughout.
Second, I find the taste underwhelming. It’s not that it’s bad, but it’s not memorable either. It is just lightly sweet water, if you ask me.
Lastly, I’m never sure when to stop eating. Technically, I should stop somewhere between the red and white parts, but since the color changes gradually, it’s hard to tell. When watermelon is cut into a triangle, I naturally start at the tip, where it tastes best, and end at the bottom, where it is the least flavorful. It feels a bit sad, if not downright miserable.
There are other minor issues as well, like sticky hands after eating it or its large size, which makes it difficult to fit in the fridge. Of course, there are positive aspects too. It has a cute appearance, and it helps with hydration, but for me, eating watermelon is not a top priority. I wouldn’t go out of my way for it.

Fuera la Tienda
Dos personas discutían en frente de la tienda, de nuevo. Es siempre el mismo par. La chica que llevaba guantes de cueros rojos (cuyo nombre aprendí es María) y un chico llevaba sombrero verde. Nadie no supieron si fueron hermanos, amigos, amantes, o otro cosa. Los dos parecieron demasiado similar y demasiado diferente. Como si las caras del ellos estuvieron cambiando forma mientras miraste fijamente. Era perturba, y como resultado, la mayoría de las personas dejaron solo. Para mí, caras del ellos parecieron ser borrosos y solo pude distinguir características vagamentes.
—¡Tú eres quien lo arruinó!— María chillaste y pisaste fuerte.
—¡Tú eres el que tiene más dinero!— él chico la empujó y pasar en la tienda.
A esta hora pasé ellos pero oí ella sigue él adentro. Fue una tienda de videos y electrónicos. En la ventana, pantallas grandes titilaron metraje radiante de actores y plantas y gráficos coloridos deslizaron que cruza las pantallas.

Un día bien llena
Casi son las nueve ahora, y me acabo de trabajar y asistir reuniones. Fue un día bastante ocupado. Por la mañana, tuve que levantarme más temprano que el normal para conseguir un vende de Facebook Marketplace--alguien conduzco desde Atlantic City a mi hogar en Filadelfia para comprar unas botas. !A las siete por la mañana! Estuve sorprendido porque había posteado las botas hace un mes o más y nadie las quiso antes, pero este hombre fue bastante motivado a comprarlas. La otra cosa que ocupó mi dia fue un libro. Tengo un club de libro en mi biblioteca local que se reune una vez del més, y me desperté esta mañana con todavía doscientos páginas leer. Entonces, todo el día cuando estaba en el trabajo leí el resto del libro poco a poco durante las pausas y momentos sin quehacer.
Al fin, era un día bien llena, de vender, trabajar (fue un día de desarrollo profesional enfocado en la enseñanza de matemáticas), leer, reunir, y, después del club de libro, una reunion virtual de practicar español! Desde las siete por la mañana hasta las ocho por la noche estuve completamente enfocado en trabajar, leer, y nada más. Casi no tuve una conversación todo el día que no se trató directamente al trabajo.

What kind of TV shows and movies do I like to watch?
Well, I don't usually watch any TV show neigther movies, the reason is that I'm "addicted" to youtube, it's more natural and I can listen podcasts, watch people playing games I like, etc. However, my girlfriend recommend me a series called The summer I turnned pretty. It's been one of the worst things I've ever watched haha.
The plot of the series is basic, Belly who is the main character loves both a boy and his brother and she isn't sure of who is the best.
I wasn't able to see even two chapters, it was awful.

Oaxaca, Mexico
El septiembre pasado estuve en Oaxaca, Mexico. Aunque fui en temporada baja, el pasaje aun era $700CDN. El boleto era costoso porque la ruta no es muy popular. Mucha gente prefiere ir à Cancun, Puerto Vallarta o otros centros turísticos. Oaxaca es una hermosa ciudad colonial. No tiene una playa, pero dicen que la gastronomía es la mejor en todo de Mexico. Cuando les dije a mis amigos que yo iba a Oaxaca, me dijeron, “Dónde ?? Dónde ?? Cómo lo escribes ?” Cuando escuché sus comentarios, pensé para mis adentros, “ Tomé una buena decisión. Voy a ir a un lugar donde no habrán muchos turistas y podré experimentar la auténtica cultura de Mexico.”

¿Qué tipo de notas?
Cuando tengo que planear o recordar mucho que tiene significado personal, prefiero escribir a mano. No he hecho una investigación, pero siento que recuerdo más de este modo. Es casi como el acto de escribir algunas cosas a mano previene la necesidad de revisarlas después. Por otro lado, si tengo que recordar algo que no me interesa mucho, prefiero teclear porque es más fácil revisar notas tecleadas para mí.

Unable to Recognize A Bad Movie
Last weekend I spent time watching a movie, which wasn't especially bad for me when I'd just finished watching it. Had my suspicions, but needed the check the reviews to realize that the movie was terrible. Let me explain.
Honestly, the movie was entertaining because I was so curious about how the protagonist (and cybersecurity expert) had an almost perfect workflow between different tools, sources of information, and system interfaces, that I didn't pay attention to whether I was enjoying the film. For an IT guy, all those kinds of things are absorbing, I think.
The special effects caught my attention; they looked so reachable that I was wondering how to make them on my own. The way they use the resource of the "hackers in revolt" was awkward for me; it's impossible to take them seriously. By the current date, I don't remember the movie's plot, and the final part was meaningless for me.
At that moment, I suspected something was going wrong, so I surfed YouTube for reviews. There were a lot of negative comments about the movie. Among other criticisms (the lack of quality in both the special effects and the script, for example), the strongest argument was that the movie is a shameless propaganda by Amazon. I agreed with most of them.
Now, Weekend nights are scheduled for movies.
P.S.: The movie is the 2025 adaptation of the famous novel "War of the Worlds" by H. G. Wells.

Corgis
Corgis originally had tails.
They were originally cattle dogs.
A corgi is a type of small dog with short legs and a pointed nose.
Corgis are short and can move freely among cattle.
If its tail is too long, it could easily be stepped on by cows.
The tradition of cutting tails originated in Wales in the 18th century.
In my opinion, a corgi with a tail is more cute, and its mood can be judged by its tail.
I don't have any pets, but I like dogs very much.
I like to watch videos about dogs every day.

現実になった昔のコント
今回は昔のコントと最近起こったニュースで見た事件について書きたいと思っている。ただし、その前に言語の背景を説明しないといけない。歴史的な理由で、現在のノルウェー語のスペルはデンマーク語に基づいている。その二つの言語は表記だけを見るとすごく似ている。語彙や表現、文法などはほぼ同じだ。それにしても、発音が非常に違う。僕も、デンマーク人としゃべる時に、ちゃんと集中しないと相手の伝えたいことがわからない。デンマーク以外のスカンディナヴィアに住んでいる人はよく冗談で「デンマーク人ののどにじゃがいもが積もっている」と言う。そのように聞こえると僕も思う。
２０年ぐらい前に、有名なノルウェー人のコメディアン達がデンマーク語の発音を馬鹿にするコントがテレビで放送された。そのコントによると、デンマーク語はデンマーク人がお互いの言うことがわからないほど変だ。コミュニケーションの問題でデンマークの社会は崩壊しかけているように描かれていた。コントの最後に牛乳を売る男の人が登場した。その男は早口で雑な発音で人々をだまして、牛乳をたくさん注文させた。そのコントは古いが、今でもよく知られている。
先日そういうことが本当にあったらしい。ニュースによると、南デンマークにあるコンビニが牛乳の業者から牛乳を１０箱要求するつもりだったけど、結果的にコンテナ１０個を注文してしまった。そのような大量の牛乳は売りにくいため、最終的にボトルを１本２円ぐらいで売ることにした。さっき話したコントのとおりに起こったのかもしれない。

Bon souvenir n°6
En 2012 lorsque mes enfants étaient petits, nous (ma femme, mes enfants, mes parents, mes beaux-parents et moi) avons volé à Winnipeg pour visiter ma grand-mère.
Elle avait 92 ans et habitaient dans une maison de retraite depuis environ deux ans. À ce moment elle était toujours très lucide. J'étais sa petit-enfant préferée.
Tout le monde était ravi de la rencontrer et pour mes beaux-parents japonais c'était leur première fois.
Naturellement grand-mère ne parlaient aucun japonais et mes beaux-parents ne pouvaient pas communiquer en anglais.
Lorsque j'étais seul avec elle pour un instant, elle ma demandé s'ils étaient bons beaux-parents. Je lui ai répondu:
- Ils sont beaux-parents merveilleux! On s'est démenagé chez eux, on a construit une salle de classe sur leur proprieté (je suis enseignant privé), on a démarré une entreprise, on s'en tire très bien et eux restent dehors! Ma femme et moi faisons nos affaires à notre façon et ils ne interviennent jamais. Ils n'essayent jamais de nous contrôler avec l'argent. Ils ne nous donnent jamais de « conseils ». Quand il est question d'affaires, ils restent à l'écart. Ils justent restent DEHORS.
Peut-être que j'exagérais un peu, mais dans l'ensemble c'était vrai.
Ma grand-mère, qui se souvenait sans doute des ingérences agaçantes de sa belle-famille de sa jeunesse, m'a montré là la plus grande sourire que j'aie vu.
Cet après-midi-là, on est allé à "La Fourche de Winnipeg." C'est un lieu touristique, près du confluence de grands fleuves. Grand-mère a pris mes beaux-parents tous les deux par le bras, comme Dorothy dans le Magicien d'Oz et leur a dit, de la voix le plus doux du monde:
- Lassiez-moi vous présenter la Fourche.
Et elle leur a fait une visite guidée. Je suivais comme interprète.
C'était un après-midi très doux et ensoleillé et c'est un très bon souvenir.
Lorsque ma grand-mère est morte en 2018, mes beaux-parents étaient en larmes.

Buchhandlungen
Weiter zum Thema von gestern...die Lehrerin hat uns gefragt, ob wir Bücher in einer Buchhandlung kaufen, oder Online. Ich bevorzuge Bücher in der Buchhandlung zu kaufen, es macht mehr Spaß. Aber als ich in Panama war, habe ich mehrmals Bücher Online gekauft, weil es war manchmal schwierig, ein Buch zu finden. Es gibt nicht sehr viele Buchhhandlung und die wenigen, die es gibt, sind klein, deswegen findet man nicht viele Auswahlen. In Deutschland ist jedoch anders! Es gibt viele und sind riesig, deshalb kann man fast alles finden. Ich besuche gerne die Buchhandlungen, trotzdem kann ich nur angucken, weil ich noch nicht auf Deutsch lesen kann. Na ja, ich kann, aber finde ich es noch schwierig und anstrengend.

yoga class
I stared to do Yoga in 2020 at the pandemic. I saw some classes online at YouTube and for some app, I really liked because I am a very anxious, so Yoga could help me. At time, I learned how to breathe, because we don't breathe right, and a became a more flexible and lengthened. But when I enter the world of Yoga I realized that it came with a life-style. Like, influencers that sell a positive life and good vibes, and when I do Yoga, yes I seek all of this, but for me this type of person stared to pass a toxic positivity. So Yoga is a really nice exercise that I really love, but I don't like all the package that teachers and “students” pass. I really have to say that I was came back to my yoga mat because the feeling of doing the positions is soooo good. I realized that when you are doing some positions you just can't thinking in another thing, because you will fall. This is my favorite thing about Yoga, because calm down my thoughts, forcing me just to think in the exercise.

Duolingo
Hi guys, how it's going? I need some suggestions about the app called Duolingo. I'm learning a lot of english with this website however, it's imposible to post everyday a text with good content(Could I have said plot instead of content?). Sometimes I have no idea what to write about. So, many people in this page talk a lot about Duolingo, is it worth to use it?
I don't know how it works but it shouldn't be really difficult. I'm certain that finally, if I liked using Duolingo, I wouldn't stop using Langcorrect.
Do you learn more using Langcorrect or Duolingo?

MY PLANNING THIS NIGHT
I'm really excited right now because today my football team and I have been trying to search people who wanted to play tonight however, as it's summer and boiling hot. It must be said that it's really tough to find players who want to take a risk in this situation because of the high temperatures.
I went to the gym at 7 o'clock because I thought that it would be imposible to achieve it but while I was doing an excercise, Apa, who is one of the guys that was going to play with today, told us that he had found 4 players to complete our squad. I'm really happy, give me wishes because today I may dye because of a heat stroke.
