Salut Chelo,
On pense beaucoup à eux, surtout aujourd'hui.

Nowadays most people are searching for someone with dating apps.
There are a few reasons why it is the preferred way.
A person feels more confident texting in a calm setting than chatting in real life. Especially young guys often have a barrier, a wall in front of girls, they can feel anxious and frightened due to silence in a conversation.
Also, these apps use mind tricks when promoting themselves as gamification, addiction loops, social media engagement and so on.
They give the illusion of wide, unlimited choice, but drain your energy out at every step. It's like searching for tiny gold pieces in river sand.
A positive thing is that you can feel a vibe of the person or note some red flags just by looking at their photos or profile describtion with eighty percent likelihood.
But my main offensive point is that texting and dates happen a little forced, because you have no shared context that connects you.
So, I quite dating apps and stick to old-fashioned dating.
I think metting someone on the street or at a bar is better, of course it requires more courage.
But the best way is through shared activities or events. In this case you can move from strangers to casual friends smoothly and socially appropriate.
Also, I have heard the conspiracy theory about evil dating app that tries to catch you and never gives you suitable people, but I don't believe in it.
And I have known that Tinder is used mostly for friends with benefits or one night stands in Europe and North America, but in Russia culture people use it to finding serious relationship.
Is it true? What's vibe of Tinder in your place?

The environment in which we live, affects our mood and habits more than we think. In my childhood I have lived in many different surroundings, to be precise - I live Berlin, Germany. Berlin is a very big city and a lot of tourists love to visit Berlin every year, but in my opinion there are many beautiful places yet to discover. Most people who think of Berlin, speak about the crowded districts with many shops or clubs. I was born in Berlin and I would never move to these areas, I prefer to live at the rural corners of Berlin. When people describe the typical person that lives in Berlin, they often say: always in a bad mood and always complaining but where does this really come from? I think it’s the environment. Ever since I live in the corner of Berlin, I feel a lot more calm and relaxed. I love to walk in the woods and wide fields of grass. Of course, you need to make sacrifices for this: reduced public transport opportunities, seeing your friends less or a longer walk to next supermarket, but I would never change my life with someone, who lives in the crowded areas in Berlin. Everyone I met in the quiet/ less crowded areas of Berlin seems more happy, relaxed and generally more balanced in life. The answer is clear: If you live in a less crowded place, you will enjoy better life quality.

I think recounting is the best way of learning languages.
Retelling a story is a great way to practice your target language.
This way forces me to open my mouth.
I tried to retell the biblical stories in English.
In my spare time, I pick out another video, and I'll retell the story in English.
I find this method to be very helpful for me.
I have been using Duolingo for one and a half years.
Duolingo is like playing a game.
On the journey of language learning, you are constantly motivated.
Duolingo is a good tool to expand vocabulary for beginners, but any advanced learners don't need Duolingo.
I enjoy listening practice and my accuracy rate is over 95%.

Ma szombat van, szóval hétvége. Én mégis az integrációs tanfolyam kirándulását tervezem.
Délután végre lesz időm kitakarítani a lakást.

In Japan, many clean restrooms that can be used for free without asking staff are available everywhere.
Although they aren't as clean as those in cities, parking areas with restrooms can be found even along roads in the mountains and along the seaside.
Such restrooms are not always available overseas. Even if they are free, users sometimes have to ask staff for permission before using them. It's bothersome for me.
During a visit to Hong Kong, Hong Kong Disneyland had clean restrooms available, so I didn't have to worry and could eat and drink freely. However, in the city, I was worried about suddenly needing to use the restroom, so I hesitated to eat and drink outside the hotel.
Even though there aren't many clean restrooms that are available for free, why don't people living there mind?
They are accustomed to asking staff, "Can I use your toilet?", so they don't find it bothersome.

It took Cape Verde 40 years from joining FIFA in 1986 until it made its debut on the World Cup stage in 2026.
How much do you know about Cape Verde?
Cape Verde was a Portuguese colony before independence.
When it comes to Cape Verde, the country has just a little over half a million people.
Of course as a Lusophone country, like Angola and Sao Tome and Principe, Cape Verde has a distinct culture that is noticeably influenced by the Portuguese.
The education system is the second best in all of Africa after South Africa, and it follows the Portuguese format.
Portugal is a key player in Cape Verde's inner circle.
The US has the largest Cape Verdean community outside of Cape Verde.
Out of the ten international destinations that their national airline flies to, two of them are actually in the US: one in Boston and one in Providence, Rhode Island.

I'd like to tell you a story about Leo Messi.
His father was a steelworker and his mother worked part-time as a cleaner.
Leo was born in Rosario, Argentina.
Leo started playing soccer when he was just five years old, often using a soda can or a stone as a ball.
According to a family story, the first time he played, nothing happened when the ball came to his right foot. But when the ball rolled toward his left foot, he started dribbling as if he'd been playing forever. Soon Leo joined a local soccer club, where people notced his dribbling skills, along with his incredible speed and agility.
By the time Leo was 11, many people had noticed something else about him: Leo was a lot smaller than most of the other boys on the field.
Eventually doctors realized that Leo had a growth hormone deficiency, a disorder that leads to slow growth in children.
The medication for the disorder was very expensive, and his family needed help with paying for it.
So when FC Barcelona, one of the best soccer teams in the world, expressed interest in Leo and offered to pay his medical bills, he left Argentina and moved with his father to Spain.
Leo was 13 when he Joined the Barcelona team's youth academy.
He was quite thin and short, standing only around 138 centimeters tall.
His small size made him shy and quiet, so quiet in fact that he barely said a word for his first month with the team.
Leo traind at the academy for several years moving up quickly through the junior ranks.
When he was 16, he played in the top division for the first time.
The following year, at age 17, he broke the team record when he became the youngest player to score a goal for Barcelona during a league game.
From that point on , Leo with his powerful left foot, was a sensation in the world of professional soccer.
Medication did help Leo.
Although he is a professional male athlete, he's still pretty short, about 169 centimeters.
Loe has participated in many major events for Argentina, including the World Cup, that's the competition held every four years for the world's best soccer teams.
What makes Leo such a fantastic player is his amazing speed and skill with the ball.
In fact, bacause of his small size and ability to dart up and down the field, his nickname is the Flea.
Some people say that Leo can feel the ball and change direction faster than other players.
Leo has earned a lot of money playing soccer.
He is among the highest paid athletes in the world, earning millions of dollars a year for playing soccer and endorsing dozens of products.
Leo Messi is certainly a giant among professional soccer players.
Messi is not completely unable to speak English; he does speak some English sometimes.
His reluctance to speak English in public is due to his shyness.

Purple is my favorite color, but I will try to describe it, because it is so difficult. Let's go! First, it is a mix between red and blue. But if you don't know these colors, I will change the name to main objects to make it easier for you.
For example: red is like apples, tomatoes, whatever.
And the other one is blue, which equals the ocean and the sky.
When these colors/objects are mixed, they form my favorite color. In this case, purple.
To make it easier, lavender is the exact color.

No one wants to die, but everyone will die. They just don't know when they will die.
When I was a kid, I was carefree, just playing around with the other children in my village.
When I was in school, I worked hard because I wanted to get a job in a city.
When I started my own family, I enjoyed becoming a husband and looked forward to having a child.
I never thought about death until I was nearly forty. It wasn’t because of anything special—it just came to me naturally. Maybe there is a timer for life inside my body.
At first, whenever I thought about death, I felt scared, but gradually I had to accept it.
Life is like a plant; it has its own life cycle, like wheat, corn, soybeans…
Since the beginning of humankind, how many generations have passed? And where are they now? I don’t know. I only know that they used to live in this world, just like me.
As we age, we lose the confidence to fight against death. We know it is inevitable.
Live each day happy-go-lucky. Who cares when it comes?
