About monopoly

One of the most interesting things I've learned from my first class of microeconomics is that "every company wants to be a monopoly". I put the sentence in quotation marks because that is literally what my teacher said. That argument seemed to me very contradictory because I couldn't imagine how a system could be capitalist without allowing competition. However, reality reflects exactly what he said in the class. The most capitalist country on earth is having a lot of issues with oligopolies (when instead of one, there are a few groups of people who control the market). When I think about it, I feel like it's because economic systems only have incentives for maximization, which means making as much money as possible. And what would be the most efficient way to do it if not by controlling a significant proportion of the market?

It is life

I've finished my first class of my master's degree, and the final exam went pretty well. At the end I realized that in microeconomics at least, everything is about optimization. Although the problems were presented differently, we had to use the same methodology in the solution. That made me feel more confident because I am good at seeing patterns. I am feeling positive about my future in this master's, even though I just took one class. This is going to be a long process, but I am feeling optimistic. I read my recent post and thought that life is just about moments. There are times when you feel like everything is wrong, and other times you feel the exact opposite. The funny thing is that it's the same life.

ミネソタの気候

ミネソタ州に住んでいます。ミネソタ州について存じですか？
北にはカナダ、東にはスペリオル湖があります。冬は長くとても寒いです。ミネアポリスの冬の気温はモスクワのと似ていますけど、ミネアポリスは平均してちょっとより寒いです。
夏はとても暑いです。寒いことで有名だから、仮定は、夏は涼しいです。とても蒸し暑いです。
秋と春は絶好ですが、1か2週間です。

日本で忘れられない習慣

前のジャーナルにも書いたが、昨年ちょっとだけ日本に暮らしまった。その間、日本人の慣習を真似し始めた。郷に入っては郷に従え、でしょうね？イギリスに戻った後、日本人みたいな癖とか仕草をかをまだ時々しています。例えば道路を渡りたい時、運転手が車を止まるとイギリス人がただの手振りで「サンキュウ」を伝うことができます。もちろん、日本人がぺこりと頭を下げると同じようなことを伝えます！それで、イギリスに戻った後、道路を渡りたい時だけでなく、いろいろなシチュエーションで御辞儀を今までしてます。レストランから出て行ってたり、他の人に「先にどうぞ」みたいなことを言ったり、そのような時に御辞儀をまだしています。勘違いしてる人はたぶんいるだから言っておくけど、悪いことじゃないだと思います！ただ、いつも定員さんとか運転手とかがちょっとびっくりする、混乱するような表情をしめしています。他には名刺のようなこと（どのような紙）を他の人に渡ってる時、丁寧に二手が角を握って他の人に向かう、それで渡します。イギリスの慣習でそんなに丁寧に渡す必要がないけど今の僕にとって、そのような丁寧な扱いは大事だと思います。だから続いてるつもりです。

僕にとって、そのような習慣は大事な宝物です。

Ich hasse Modalpartizipien

Ich finde Modalpartizipien oft nicht schwierig zu verstehen, wenn jemand sie benutzt, aber es scheint, dass jedes Mal, wenn ich versuche, eines zu benutzen, benutze ich immer den Falsche! Ich weiß nicht den Unterschied zwischen „eben“ und „halt“, und ich verwechsle oft „doch“ und „noch“. Es fällt mir schwer, also normalerweise versuche ich, Modalpartizipien zu vermeiden, obwohl ich weiß, dass ich sollte sie irgendwann lernen.

描く練習

出張のせいで、今週や先週、めったに描きませんでした。今日視点の絵を練習しています。最初に指示なし、視点の絵を描いてみました。その後、指示を見ました。実際に、最初の絵の角度は悪い感じがありました。指示を見て、問題を考えました。遠い肩は近い肩にくらべて、もっと上でした。そのため、絵の感じは上から見る絵になりました。しかし、足は違い角度がありました。そのため、視点は同時に肩の上と足の下の視点でした。そんな無理な角度は悪い感じの理由でした。

《小巷人家2》

我以前说《小巷人家》要有第二季。但是那时我没说第二季会是什么故事。今天在小红书看到了。导演说是张图南和李佳的商业（类似的）故事。而且他们没改演员。？？？。是导演没看到观众的批评和抱怨吗？大部分人不喜欢张图南和李佳的故事（尤其是范丞丞的演戏）。我倒是挺期待会是怎么样。

J’apprends à jouer le clavier

J’essaie d’apprendre à jouer le clavier, mais c’est difficile parce que je n’ai pas un enseignant. J’ai un petit clavier que je peux mettre sur une table et garder dans un placard ou sous mon lit quand je ne l’utilise pas. C’est pratique, mais la qualité du bruit n’est pas très bonne, alors parfois, quand je le joue, les tons sonnent(?) étranges.

La Nutrition

Pendant mes études universitaires, on avait deux types de cours disponibles : des cours obligatoires pour le diplôme et des cours supplémentaires qu'on pouvait choisir. Par contre, on n'avait pas le champ libre pour ces cours, ils devaient être sélectionnés d'une liste plutôt restrictive. Parmi tous les cours supplémentaires que j'avais suivis, le plus intéressant et le plus utile était un cours de nutrition. La science fait encore des progrès dans ce domaine, alors, avec les années mes connaissances risque d'être démodées . Cependant, même si le domaine est encore en état d'évolution, je pense qu'on devrait quand même l'enseigner à tout le monde pendant la formation générale. Il y a peu de différence entre le besoin de connaître la biologie humaine et le besoin de connaître la nutrition. Les deux sont nécessaires pour élucider qui nous sommes, et en fait, la nutrition est vraiment la mise en œuvre du système qu'on étudie dans les cours de biologie.

Crowded road and train

When I made it to the train stop on time, there were more people there than usual. The train was very crowded and hot. The train I get on every day doesn't have many office worker and have more high schooler and secondary schooler, but today was opposite.
I gradually felt hotter and my face went red. Once I got off, it was colder outside than the traIn and I was surprised.
I guessed that most office workers decided to leave their work earlier because the weather was good and pleasant. Some people planed to go on trips, using Monday nextweek which is public holiday in my country.
My dad came back home later than normal, and he said the road was very busy and it took him about 1 hour.
I told my dad that my prediction, and he laughted.

Hola, mi nombre es Natalia y quiero mejorar mi español. Nací en Carolina del Norte y aprendí español de pequeña. Mi mama es colombiana entonces trato de hablar con ella. En mi casa no hablamos mucho el español porque mi papa es americano. Pero, este ano conocí un hombre de España en mi final ano de bachillerato. Me captivo con su habilidad de hablar en ingles y su forma de ser. Además, yo me enamore y ahorra somos novios, pero el solo estaba en mi país para un ano para terminar la escuela secundaria. El se fue cuando graduamos y quiero visitar a el en España el en verano. Esto va ser el ultimo vez que nos vamos a ver antes de empezar la universidad. Vamos estar muy lejos con seis horas de diferencia. En mi mente creo que si yo hablo mejor con el en español cuando visito el puede enamorarse mas de mi. No quiero perderlo y siento muy mal cuando no puedo entenderlo. Estos españoles tienen un acento my fuerte, no? Aqui en los estados unidos solo hable en ingles con el y me dio mucho vergüenza hablar en español. Ahorra cuando visito tengo que hablar y entender bien porque no quiero tener un barrio entre idiomas.

Mein Großeleisungsnachweis
