Como la poesía cambió mi vida
Cuando crecía, no solía leer poesía y no creía que esa forma de expresión artistica pueda afectar la vida de nadie.
No obstante, ahora siendo ya un adulto tengo pruebas fehacientes que así es, y no tengo dudas que mi vida habría sido completamente diferente si no hubiera leído algunos poemas de Benedetti, el insigne escritor uruguayo.
El año era 2016, y yo era un jovén estudiante de antropología de América Latina, trabajando como un recepcionista en un albergue de juventud. Las clases de literatura que frecuentaba en la universidad han reavivado mi pasión por lectura, que había estado muerta gracias a la instrucción que recebí en la escuela algunos años atrás.
Cuando trabajaba los turnos de noche, para no perder tiempo solía hacer mis tareas - y una vez tenía que leer algunas obras de Benedetti - y si no me engaño, fueron «Corazón coraza», «Amor de tarde» y «Táctica y Estrategia».
Mientras que leía, estaba reflexionando en mi vida amorosa que no estaba yendo de manera que yo esperaba, para ser honesto. Pero estás palabras que ha escrito el maestro uruguayo me habían dado un empujón para hacer un paso que no atrevía hacer antes, y por la mañana cuando llegó mi compañera de trabajo, la pedí a ella una cita de café.
Por eso, pienso que puedo inculpar a Benedetti por esa relación que duró cinco años - pero no sé si «inculpar» sería exactamente la palabra cierta para describirla, dado que aprendí montón sobre mi mismo y la vida cuando duraba.
Solo hubo una vez más que la poesía me ha afectado profundamente - como un regalo de despedida, una chica española me dio un libro que contenía poemas de Bécquer.
Otra vez me dejé llevar a la poder inesperada de poesía, cuando lí el «Rima XI», sobre amor imposible; y cuando había leído la parte que decía «yo soy un sueño, un imposible», decidí perseguir un sueño que conservaba por algunos meses, aún sabiendo que un día tendría que despertar.
No me importaba, y compré un billete de avión sin viaje de vuelta hasta la ciudad de la eterna primavera, Medellín, con una esperanza singular - pero eso ya es otra historia que todavía está por terminar.
Pase que pasará, no arrepentiré de nada - porque pienso que vale la pena intentar cumplir sus sueños, porque sin ellos todos estuviésemos apenás existiendo, no viviendo lo mejor que podríamos vivir.

This week is the final exams. Therefore, I spent most of time studying them today. The winter vacation will start on this Thursday, and I'm so excited about it! Because it means that I will have more time to learn English. Speak of it, my roommate was so mad about the education system. She was confused why we spend a lot of time attending the lectures. However, we still need to spend more time to review and study them. As a result, we don't have enough time to do whatever we're interested. I feel it only when the exam is coming, just like now. But the feeling is stronger than before, I think the reason is I'm goal-oriented now.

Neues Jahr, Neujahrsvorsätze!
Erster Montag auf 2023. Das bedeutet: heute ist der beste Tag, um deine Neujahrsvorsätze anzufangen!
Für dieses Jahr habe ich insgesamt 11 Vorsätze geschrieben. Die Themen sind über alles: von Gesundheit bis Finanz, und natürlich Deutsch verbessern.
Jedes Ziel hat verschiedene SMART Items. Zum Beispiel, ich soll einen Text schreiben jede Woche (es spielt keine Rolle, welche Tag das passiert). Dieses hier ist das erstes!
Zum Ende versuche ich ein Weg, um ein Überblick über meine Ziele zu machen, und ich habe "Habitory" gefunden (Ich verspreche, sie haben mich nicht bezahlt). Die Idee ist einfach: Man muss Gewohnheiten erstellen und wie oft du es machen willst. Dann jedes Tag kannst du eintippen, wenn du einen Gewohnheit gematcht hast.
Der Applikation generiert ein Aktivität-Graf: Für jeden Tag, dass du eine Gewohnheit machen soll, generiert einen grauen Block, und wenn stellst du es fertig, malst den Block grüne.

En regardant les entrées d’écrit que j’avais fait en français sur ce site, je me suis rendue compte que j’ai la chance d’avoir des personnes qui les corrigeaient et ça m’encourage à accomplir le challenge que j’avais lancé le début de 2022. Je ne sais pas si j’ai fait progressé mon niveau du français en faisant ça mais au moins je pouvais le maintenir. Merci beaucoup !
Pour cette nouvelle année, le français sera mon outil pour la vie quotidienne au lieu d’un sujet d’apprentissage. Je pense que je vais lire plus de livres en français qui sont destinés aux natives et que sur ce site, je voulais changer les thèmes des mes écritures. J’avais décrit mes quotidiennes pendant toute l’année et ça m’ennuie. (Mais peut-être je le referai quand je manque de sujets pour écrire, parce que c’est plus facile à faire.) Justement, j’ai acheté un cours qui va m’enseigner comment écrire mais malheureusement je ne peux pas accéder encore. Bon, en tout cas, ce que je voulais, c’est simplement améliorer mes compétences de raconter une bonne histoire en cette langue élégante.

A Hunyadi Mátyásról és hollóról legenda
(az szöveg után, forditás angolul van)
Mikor Magyarországon jártam, nekem a Hunyadi Mátyásról és hollóról legendat miséltek. Nem tudok, ha ez legenda igaz vagy nem igaz, de mindenesetre, ezed gyönyörűnek találom. Mégpróbánom eddet legendat magyarul mégmisélni.
Hunyadi Mátyás egy híres magyar király volt. Egyszer, levette ujjaról gyűrűjét, de egy repülő holló fogta a gyűrűt és elvitte ezed. A király utolérte a madárat, és visszavette gyűrűjét. Aztán, a király úgy döntött, hagy hozzáteszi a hollót a Magyarország címérének erre napra emlékéként. Sok kultúrakaban, a fekete holló egy serencsétlenség jelképé, de gondolok, hagy királynek egy boldog jelkép volt, mert a madár ellen megnyerte!

When I was in Hungary, I was told about the legend of Mathias Hunyadi and the crow. I don't know whether this legend is true or not, but anyway, I find it nice. I'll try telling it in Hungarian.
Mathias Hunyadi was a famous Hungarian king. One day, he removed his ring from his finger, but a flying crow caught the ring and took it away. The king caught up the bird and took back his ring. Then the king decided to add the crow to the Hungarian coat of arms as a memory of this day. In many cultures, the black crow is a symbol of bad luck, but I think it was a positive symbol for the king, because he won against the bird!

Akkalime - Artist / Streamer
On the night of the last day of 2022, I was watching a live-stream on Twitch.
The streamer was Akkalime, a Filipino artist / VTuber who drew and made live 2D models.
I like watching art live-stream by artists in general, and Akka is a really nice person and one of my favorite streamers, so I visit their live-stream as much as I can.
On their Twitch channel, there is a redeem called “Doodle” that makes them draw something by a request of a viewer.
I redeemed it and requested them to draw my Live 2D character.
This was the first time an artist except the illustrator of my character drew him, so I was really excited.
The redeem was called “Doodle”, so I expected a simple drawing.
I guess even if they had drawn a simple rough sketch in five minutes, I would have been impressed enough and happy.
However, they spent over an hour to draw my request, and of course the drawing was amazing.
I have been in a bad mood recently.
There are good things that I appreciate and I should feel happy, but there are also things that make me feel negative and they easily overshadow good things.
So, I thought my 2022 was going to end while I felt like shite.
However, because of Akka’s chill live-stream with Jazz music and their generosity and kindness to use artistic skills for me, mere one of the viewers, without hesitation, I could end my 2022 in a really good mood.
I got to like them more.
I fell asleep listening to them talking and missed the end of the live-stream though, lol.

Are shanghai People Arrogant? (4)
I have sauntered on Nanjing Road ( a busy shopping street in Shanghai ) many times. often saw some people arguing loudly over something, most cases happened between a sales and a customer. I remember a customer who explained to the people loudly around him complained that the sales bully on him, he had asked the sales three times for one product, but the sales left him alone without any excuse, so he ranted to the sales.
One day, my colleague led me to a house in an alley where adjacent to a shopping street. A crowd of people has already filled the room. Some famous brand watches like Omega, Rolex, Zenith, and other magnificent watches were presented on the selling counters. Of course, they were all replicas. They not only sell watches, but also some CD-burning software, and fashion bags. I was not surprised by the products, what made me surprised was that there were many foreigners.
My colleague explained the reason to me, "Do you think all foreigners are rich? Respecter soi-même
Parfois on aime quelqu'un et il aime nous pas en retour. C'est plutôt naturel on pourrait pas forcer une personne de nous aimer sincerment. En lieu de s'encoleré à cause de ça il faut mieux de l'accepter et apprécier la honnêteté. C'est pire de poursuivre quelqu'un qui a évidemment aucune intérêt ou respect pour nous. Il y a aucune mal avec montrer une personne qu'on l'apprécie mais ça suffit si l'autre personne s'en fiche. Il faut toujours avoir respect pour soi-même, comment on pourrait attendre le respect des autres si on est incapable à respecter nous-mêmes.

La peur de commencer un devoir
Je fais partie du programme Baccalauréat international à mon école et c'étais difficile. J'ai un devoir nécessaire pour obtenir mon diplôme -- une évaluation interne pour la chimie à rendre plus tard de ce mois, lequelle nous devons produire sans conseils de nos profs. J'ai passé beaucoup de temps ce soir en récrirent et faisent les cent pas dans ma chambre. Je sais que la version préliminaire ne doit pas être parfait, mais je m'inquiét encore. Je vais essayer plus demain.

La piedra angular de la riqueza
Ahora mismo estoy leyendo ¨El Millonario De La Puerta Al Lado¨ que versa sobre los métodos de forrarse, y inspira a mucha gente de la idea de que cualquier persona pueda hacerse rico. Saber como funciona el dinero es importante, porque un dato curioso que me sorprendió es que mucha de la gente que gana la lotería acaba perdiendo todo ese dinero porque no tiene buena formación monetaria.
Lo que es más inspiradora es que la mayoría de los millonarios en EEUU no nacen en el seno de una familia acaudalada, sino son hechos a si mismos. El libro dice que ser rico no es gastar dinero, sino ahorrarlo, y también recomienda vivir por debajo de tus posibilidades para alcanzar la jubilación temprana.

La superación personal
Según la teoría de la superación personal, todo el mundo es capaz de convertirse en una mejor versión de sí mismo, siempre que adopte nuevas formas de pensar. No importa si la vida está sembrada de retos y reveses; los seguidores de la superación personal afirman que se puede lograr lo que se quiera si se definen bien los objetivos, se hace una estrategia, y se centra la atención en el proceso, por difícil que sea. Para tener éxito, se recomiendan algunas herramientas psicológicas, y hay dos en particular que se destacan. En primer lugar, debes ser resiliente. A menudo caemos en el miedo a fallar, pero cometer errores es una parte normal del proceso de aprendizaje. No es realista esperar que hagamos algo perfectamente al primero intento. Otra herramienta importante es pedir ayuda a quienes pueden ayudarte a alcanzar tus objetivos. Un buen consejo de alguien con años de experiencia puede ser más útil que intentar hacer algo a ciegas.

Chiloé
Tomamos el autobús sur a la isla de Chiloé. Se necesita un transbordador para acceder la isla.
El clima es similar que escocia, con lagos, cerros y, si, las turberas famosas.
El capital, Castro, este situado en uno de estos cerros y al lado del mar tiene las icónicas casas de madera, los palafitos. Palafitos están sobre zancos y construido en muchas formas y tallas.
Finalmente he seguido de algunos lugares en el libro ‘Travels in a Thin Country’ de Sara Wheeler y en anticipación he releído el capítulo sobre Chiloé.
Dos cosas ella mencionó ser Curanto, una taza con características pacíficos – la gente cocinando en un agujero con hojas e incluido cerdo ahumado, salchichas ahumadas, vegetales secos y empanadillas de patata. Comí este plato, pero fue cocinado en un sartén, no un agujero.
El segundo fue licor d’oro, una dulce bebida alcohólica hecho con leche y usualmente en botellas sin etiqueta. Aparentemente esto contenga leche, pero el color, amarillo y translúcido, fue diferente que mi imagino. De todos modos, fue rico – con un sabor de almendras.

Les résolutions de la nouvelle année
Je suis consciente que beaucoup de gens prend des résolutions de nouvel an : c’est la tradition. Il serait intéressant de savoir combien de temps durent leurs résolutions. À moins avis, la plupart ne dure que quelques mois. La majorité de gens laisse tomber leurs résolutions d’ici mars ou avril. Je ne suis pas une exception.
Chaque année, je prends le même type de résolution : faire plus de sport, manger moins des choses sucrées, perdre des poids. Ceux qui deviendraient très ennuyeux, très vite. Néanmoins, j’admets que en 2022, j’ai pris la résolution d’améliorer mon français et durant l’année, j’étais très diligente. Je participais dans des événements de conversation, j’écoutais des podcasts et j’écrivais dans ce journal chaque jour.
Cette année, je cherche une nouvelle résolution. Je voudrais trouver une résolution qui serait amusante et intéressante même si je me demande si des telles résolutions existent. Il me semble que la majorité soit un travail acharné. Quand j’ai parlé avec l’un de mes amis, il était de même avis. Il m’a dit que cette année ses résolutions seraient de boire plus, manger plus et de s’amuser plus. Je pense que je vais le suivre!

Have you ever think of Minecraft's hungry system?
Now I come to think of Minecraft (again), its hungry system is not actually very realistic.
First of all, you go walking for resources, and when you get home you need to eat at least four chickens to refill the hungry bar. Another thing is that everyone just apply that in hard difficult, you need to eat the whole barn just after go walking, it is ridiculous.
Also, when you take damage, the heath points regenerates by itself, but if you only have the hungry bar complete enough to tackle that task. This is not obviously like the real life, but there is more. It happens that you need to eat an entire restaurant for a change, just so you can refill the HP bar, and in Minecraft you will take a lot of damage by multiple enemies (like skeletons).
Anyways, all of us agree that Minecraft is not very realistic at the end. This is just a game, so we do not have to make a fuss for these sort of things. All in all, Minecraft is a beautiful game with many mechannics that when working together, they give us a perfect survival experience.

Happy New Year! I have some goals for 2023,and one of them is that I want to get 90 scores above on the TOELF iBT test. Because I hope to go to France as an exchange student!My roommate recorded a video about our goals,and posted it on her instagram. Both of us look forward to an enriched life. Before 2023,I didn't push myself so hard to improve my English. On the contrary,I just stduied whenever I wanted. Although I feel kind of stressed and afraid that if I didn't be successful what my friends thought of me,revealing the goals in public is the best way to apply myself to accomplish it.
Since my ability of writing is poor,I challenge myself to keep a diary in English. This is the first day,and I will continue keeping it. The best way to predict the future is to create it.
