Numbers and Mystical Crow

Religion is a somewhat foreign concept in Japan. There are many customs in Japan that have their roots in either Buddhism or Shintoism, but most people don't consider them as religious practices—at least they are not really aware of it. So are the concepts of "monotheism" and "polytheism." Anyone who has a moderate understanding of Shintoism knows that Shintoism is polytheistic, or a religion that has more than one god. In fact, there is a Japanese expression that encapsulates the characteristic of Japan's indigenous religion: Yaoyorozu no Kami (eight million gods). These poetic forms have specific syllabic structures that reflect a deep appreciation for the beauty and transience of life. The haiku, for instance, traditionally consists of 17 syllables arranged in a 5-7-5 pattern, capturing a moment in time often linked to nature, seasons, or emotions.] Here we can see how ingrained odd numbers are in Japanese culture. In my opinion, they are not only propitious numbers but also rhythmic. Similar to rhyme in the English-speaking world, haiku and tanka sound comfortable to Japanese ears, so you could say that these numbers also have a musical nature in spoken Japanese.
Let's go back to the crow story. The crow is huge, has three legs, and represents good luck. So when does good luck come in handy? During soccer games. (Not being disrespectful to "football" people. It's called "soccer" in Japan.) Japan's national soccer team is called "Samurai Blue" and their jerseys have an interesting logo on their chest—which is, you guessed it, Yatagarasu. It is also a symbol of JFA (Japan Football Association, which I think is a misnomer considering how widespread the term "soccer" is in Japan compared to "football"). I find it cute that the mystical crow conveniently puts his third leg on the ball, but one cannot help but wonder if it might violate whatever rule stipulated in the international football matches.

うまい飯
今夜、イタリア料理のレストランに彼女と夕飯を食べます。彼女が予約したレストランです。話題な店ではなく、普通にクオリティが高くて歴史のあるレストランです。そこのパスタは、ご注文次第で作られますそうです。英語に言うと「Freshly made」ですね。日本語だったら「作りたて」と言いますか？楽しみです。ピザもお楽しみです。そこにレッドブリックで作られたピザオーブンもありますのでピザが「Authentic」（本物？）な味がするかも。
フィリピンにはこんな表現がある（日本語に訳します）：「あなたの飯もうまいと祈ります！」（タガログで：Sana masarap din ang ulam mo.)。いい表現ですね。人の飯がうまいと祈るなんて変かもしれませんが、飯がうまいと機嫌がよくなるんでしょ。だから、その表現の意味はたぶん「機嫌がよくて一日を過ごせるように」とかの意味です。

Les réseaux sociaux
Alors, la question du jour est qui d’entre nous n’a pas un compte sur TikTok, Instagram, Facebook ou même WhatsApp ? De plus en plus, on est devenu obsédé par des réseaux sociaux ou autrement dit on est devenu esclave des médias sociaux. Je cite quelqu’un qui a constaté qu’on «doit dominer les réseaux sociaux, et non pas laisser les réseaux sociaux nous dominer». Même s’il a raison, c’est de plus en plus difficile à ignorer le monde numérique.
L’article du Monde a éveillé ma curiosité et la semaine dernière, j’ai fait une expérience. Il s’agissait de compter les heures passées sur mes médias sociaux. J’étais horrifiée d’apprendre qu’en moyenne, je passe au moins 1 - 2 heures sur les réseaux sociaux : deux heures par jour, quatorze heures par semaine perdues. D’après une étude de l’OMS, la situation pour des adolescents est encore plus grave. Dans le cas des adolescents, le vrai problème est lorsqu’ils entrent dans le monde numérique, ils sont incapables d’en sortir.
Ici en Australie, certaines écoles ont introduit des restrictions concernant les téléphones mobile. Dès le commencement de la nouvelle année scolaire, c’est interdit de transporter son téléphone à l’intérieur de l’école, même pendant la pause. Il faut les garder dans le cassier. Personnellement, je supporte cette initiative puisque c’est bien connu que l’utilisation excessive des réseaux sociaux peut mener à la dépression, au harcèlement et à des résultats scolaires médiocres.

La décoration intérieure
Il y a deux ans que Sarah et son mari ont acheté une maison. Puisqu’elle était une maison décrépie, ils l’ont démolie et durant la dernière année, ils ont construit une nouvelle maison. Sarah est très excitée car la maison est presque prête et ils ont l’intention d’emménager dans quelques mois. Tandis que son mari travaille, Sarah s’occupe de la décoration intérieure
Sarah a fait beaucoup de recherches et elle a déjà commandé les lits, un canapé, des fauteuils et j’en passe. Comme la décoration intérieure m’intéresse, nous deux en parlons souvent. Nous partageons l’avis que la décoration intérieure est une science. Le type de mobilier, le dessin et la texture du tapis et la couleur des rideaux sont critiques puis qu’ensemble ils créent l’harmonie et une ambiance positive à l’intérieur.
Alors que le concept de couleurs uniformes et neutres est populaire et plaisant à voir, il est peu stimulant pour le cerveau. La théorie au courant est d’utiliser de petites touches de couleur dans l’intérieur. Apparemment, cela nous stimule et nous rend plus heureux. Par exemple, le rouge donne un boost d’énergie, le bleu est associé au calme et le jaune renforcé la confiance en soi.

Bali : le surtourisme
Bali est une destination très populaire. Je connais beaucoup d’Australiens qui y vont pas seulement une fois mais plusieurs fois. Je peux penser à de nombreuses raisons. Cette île paradisiaque se trouve à proximité de l’Australie et les vols sont courts, bon marchés et il y en a plusieurs par semaine. Les Balinais sont sympas et accueillants. Ils aiment montrer leur pays, leur culture et leur nourriture aux étranges. C’est tout à fait une destination très agréable et ce n’est pas hors de prix.
Dans un bulletin précédent, j’ai évoqué le surtourisme qui impact plusieurs pays comme le Japon et l’Espagne. De nos jours, le gouvernement de Bali est confronté également des mêmes difficultés de ce tourisme de masse. Il envisage d’introduire de nouvelle lois et certaines restrictions. Ces restrictions comprennent l’interdiction de construire de nouveaux hôtels, villas et boites de nuits.
Pendant la pandémie, l’industrie de tourisme a été affectée profondément et l’économie s’est effondrée. Le taux de chômage était élevé et les citoyens ont beaucoup souffert. Pourtant, à peine la pandémie était terminée, le nombre de touristes a augmenté incroyablement. Selon les chiffres officiels, 2,9 millions de visiteurs ont débarqué sur l’île au cours des premiers mois et en peu de temps, le nombre d’hôtels est passé de 507 à 541.

New I.T. Projects
As I am a system engineers, every moment I spend my time to find news technollogys and find new projects where I earn more money.
So, I started to learn ABAP Technollogy, I think ABAP is a nice technollogy for learning, so in the last month I had 2 projects about this technollogy.

There are four main areas which academic writing is differentiated from general writing. First of all academic writing is more objective: phrases including personal opinion, point of view should not be used. The Patience
I think I become a bit more tolerant with my career’s plan. I and my environment suffer because want perfect job, where you can get a much money and in the same time you love your job! But, if you don’t try anything, you will merely sit on the one place.

Ma routine quotidienne quand j’étais une étudiante à Manille en travaillant dans la ville de Muntinlupa
Avant, je me réveillais vers 18h30 puisque le voyage était 35 - 45 minutes de notre bureau. Je me préparais pour le voyage au bureau. Quotidiennement, j’arrivais vers 19h30 où je installais l’ordinateur aprés avoir branché le casque. Mon quart d’habitude durent jusqu’a 5h. Après le quart, je partais de voyager à manille où j’arrivé vers 7h. Les cours commençaient à 7h30. En rétrospective, je pense que c’était le plus défant jours de ma vie parce que pendant ce temps je mangeais à peine parce que d’habitude seule disponible temps que je pouvais manger était pendant ce 30 minuit déjeuner. Ce moment-là je faisais mes devoirs que si avoir devoirs sinon je mangeais. Les cours ont fini vers 15h où je rentrais chez moi. Après, je dormais et le jour recommençait encore.

Colori
Tutti colori sono diversi, il mio preferito colore é rosso. La mia madre non piace il colore nero, lei pensa che é triste. La mia sorella dice che il colore viola é perfetto per tutto e il mio padre non ha colore preferito perché lui pensa che non é neccesario. Anche al mio cane piace il colore verde perché é il colore delle fortune.

Venerdì 4 ottobre
Finalmente sta arrivando il weekend! Mi restano solo 3 ore alla fine del turno, anzi no, 4 ore. Spero di riuscire a rilassarmi questo weekend. Domani passerò l'aspirapolvere e metterò in ordine la casa.
Sono già alla frutta e ho proprio bisogno di riposarmi. Ho lavorato troppo e ho svolto tutte le mansioni che avevo da fare.
Stamattina ho studiato un po' d'italiano e ho annotato molte parole utili da usare in futuro. Voglio esercitarmi di più in italiano, quindi è ora di abituarmi a espandere il mio vocabolario.
È necessario che non dimentichi che imparare qualcosa è una maratona, non uno sprint. Sono fortunata a poter approfittare del tempo per studiare.

La castagna
L'altro giorno ho visitato Obuse, nella prefettura di Nagano, per la prima volta. Questo posto è famoso per le sue castagne. Ogni castagna sugli innumerevoli alberi è incredibilmente grande, e sono rimasto colpito dalle loro dimensioni, che non avevo mai visto prima.
Ho comprato alcuni dolci unici giapponesi a base di castagne da mandare ai miei amici all'estero. Ho anche gustato un gelato alla castagna.
