Chatbots or Humans?

I prefer to practise having conversations in English with a chatbot.

First, it is possible to receive adequate feedback from the chatbot as fast as possible. Compared to a human being, a chatbot is able to analyse vocabularies and grammars in the voice messages and provide useful feedback fast, because it is strengthened and support and edgy calculating models. By using a chatbot, I can save a lot of time and move on to other conversation topics.

Second, I can practise English conversations with a chatbot no matter where I am. Chatbots are installed in phones, therefore it is portable and I can chat with it whenever I want. It will be a bit inconvenient if I practise English conversations with a human being, because I need to schedule the practising time with them. By using a chatbot, I can get rid of the refrain of time and location, which will improve my practising efficiency and effort.

Besides, the conversation secnarios can be tailored if I practise English with a chatbot. It offers me various options, such as job interviews, business negotiations and travel as I hope to get familiar with specific words and sentences under different situations.

Dear native English speakers

I used to admire the idea of talking with native English speakers when I was a student. However, after I actually started communicating with them, I was often surprised, and there were times when I felt how polite Japanese people are in comparison.

A woman I met at an English conversation circle had graduated from an American university and was living in a shared house with native English speakers because she didn’t want to forget her English. She lived on the first floor, and one day she asked an American man living upstairs to turn down his loud music late at night. In response, he got angry and, out of spite, started banging his furniture on the floor in the middle of the night to disturb her. She ended up becoming so stressed that she had to move out of the house. That American man was actually teaching English at a high school in Japan. The world can be scary.

Since I bought English learning books with audio, I’ve lost much of my interest in communicating with native English speakers. I think many Japanese people nowadays feel the same way.

I read a passage from New Yorker today, but I haven’t finished all of it.It’s about WhatsApps, and I found great pleasure. But the vocabulary amount today is enough for me, so I’ll put these words to tomorrow’s post.

The passage contains a concept—phatic language. It’s interesting and I’ve heard it before, in our foreign English teacher’s class. I think linguistics might be a nice research direction for me.

Today I also went to the gym myself, it’s my first being there. I don’t know how to use the machines, even though I’ve browsed many videos online before I went there. However, I do have some exercise and sweat a lot. I love doing sports and sweating.

Incentive to Local Companies

What is strange is that Turkey 's goverment always blames China and Russia for disturbing in Middle East and Turkey, however it always corporates with these goverments like purchasing air defence systems from China, or $100 Billion of deal from Russia. It is increasing Turkey's dependence to China and Russia. Instead of paying this money to foreign countries, the money can be paid as incentive to the local companies who are eligible for developing this kind of technologies.

Les personnes sourdes

Je viens de lire un court livre écrit par une femme née de parents sourds et muets. Pourtant, elle-même n'était pas sourde. Le livre était très amusant et racontait comment se déroulait leur vie. J'y ai appris des choses intéressantes, par exemple, que le taux de l'analphabétisme est extrêmement élevé pour les personnes sourdes. N’ayant jamais été proche d’une personne atteinte de ce handicap, je connaissais mal leurs difficultés. Mais j'aurais pensé que savoir écrire et lire serait extrêmement précieux pour des gens qui ne pouvaient pas parler ou entendre. Difficile de trouver des sources fiables, mais j'ai trouvé une étude scientifique qui citait une estimation de 60 à 80% d'analphabétisme en 2013 parmi les personnes sourdes en France. Et on imagine que le nombre était encore pire quelques décennies auparavant. Évidemment, ça veut dire qu'il existe beaucoup d'obstacles pour ces gens d'apprendre à lire, ce qui est triste.

Hallo zusamme !
Ich frohe mich hier zu sein, die Idee von diese Website finde ich sehr vorragend .
Ich habe vor ein Jahr eine C1 Deutschkurs abgeschlossen , leider in diese Zeit habe ich viel mit ChatGpt übersetzt, deswegen vetraue ich mich nicht auf Deutsch zu schrieben. Mit sprechen geth ganz gut, aber wenn ich emails oder Nachrichten schreibe , da schriebe ich an meistens erst auf eine KI (auf Deutsch) und danach kopiere es und schicke. Das macht mich einbisschen sicherer dass die andere Person verstehet was ich sage möchte. Hoffentlich mit viel Übung werde ich hinkrigen ziemlich richtig auf Deutsch zu schrieben.

今年二月、僕は家族と日本へ行った。まず、東京ディズニーシーやディズニーランド、東博へ行った。　上海ディズニーより、東京のチケットは安い。子供はディズニーが大好きだ。
それから、伊豆へ行った。修善寺や、伊豆パノラマパークへ行った。川端康成の「伊豆の踊子」を読んでから、ずっと伊豆に憧れていた。パークからの眺めは素晴らかった。富士山は本当に綺麗だ。伊豆で優しい爺さんに会った。何故か、伊豆は僕の故郷に似ていた。静かだからだ。

Как ты празднуешь первое апреля?

По-моему, я весёлая. Но, я ненавижу выходки. Зачем смеюсь после врать? Поэтому, ничего не делаю первое апреля на этого года.

У меня была одна идея. Сейчас, я говорю с учителям русском, раз на неделе. У нас сегодня нет урока. Если было, может быть я могла говорит весь час с сильным английском акцентом. Конечно у меня есть акцент когда говорю по-русски, но я думаю что мой учитель хорошо понимает меня. Может быть это поскольку он слышает русский язык с акцентом весь день, каждый день. Но, я хочу узнать меня поймёт ли он, если говорю как можно плоше.

Мне не нравится когда кто-то делает шутки мне, но весело смотрить компании делать шутки своими клиентурами.

My holidays in France

My husband and me went for a holiday to the North of France. It’s the first day. We hoped that the weather would be fine, but when we arrived it started to rain. But after an hour it stopped and we went to the beach. Because of the weather no one was at the beach and we had the beach for us alone. We really enjoyed it, it’s a beautiful place.

Poisson d'avril

Ce matin, mon mari m'a dit : « Happy April Fool's Day ». Je me suis alors rappelé qu'en France c'est plutôt « poisson d'avril ». Je lui ai demandé s'il avait déjà collé un poisson dans le dos de quelqu'un. Il m'a répondu que oui, lui et ses camarades de classe le faisaient à leur prof, qui était toujours la cible. Je lui ai expliqué qu'on ne connaît pas cette tradition française aux États-Unis, et on faisait n'importe quel genre de blague, sans thème de poisson. Ça m'a fait sourire de voir que LangCorrect participe aussi.
