The Technology
The technology made life easier and helped us find a lot of solutions in the world. For example, the advantage of technology is that it makes learning online easier. You can open the internet anytime, anywhere, and start to learn. You don't need to spend a lot of time or money to travel to get the knowledge, and the technology has helped people in the world, especially in the medical field, and find a new cure for hard diseases. The technology has helped famished people in the world to get solutions for growing a lot of fruit and vegetables, but we should know something not everything in this world is good; there are some advantages and disadvantages. The disadvantages are spying and hackers, also, the biggest problem of technology is social media, the social media makes people know all private things. Scandals, honestly, I hate social media because it makes everything bad, it's trash, and makes people sick, brain-rot, but in my opinion, if you need to be a good person and make your life good, reduce using social media, and you will feel well, you can start to heal yourself now and make your life nice.

Trabajando con mi padre en la granja.
Mi padre es granjero lechero. A lo largo de los años viviendo en el campo, nos dábamos recados que hacer en la granja lechera a cambio de dinero. Normalmente, mi padre nos hace apilar neumáticos en grandes montículos de ensilado. Pero déjame decirte esto: es una tarea bastante agobiante! También nos habían dado otros recados — quitar cardos de los prados, cuidar a los terneros durante la primavera y, además, nos habían pagado por limpiar un establo rotativo entero.
Después de cumplir los recados de la granja, nuestro padre nos daba el dinero. A veces nos lo dio para que mis hermanos y yo pudiéramos compartirlo entre nosotros, a veces lo dividía para nosotros. Cada uno de nosotros fuimos dado cincuenta o cien dólares.
De tantos recados que había realizado, e incluso mis hermanos, me han dado una prueba lo que se necesita para ser un adulto funcional y responsable en el ambiente laboral. Estar en la granja lechera me ha enseñado a ser resiliente, persistente y trabajar en un equipo.
*Se hace eso para preservar el ensilado y para reciclar los neumáticos usados en lugar de crear residuos ambientales que dañan al sistema ecológico.

日本のスノーボードのシーズン
スノーボードのシーズンがとても楽しみ。去年大学生でスノーボードのシーズンが楽しみだったけどシーズンの最初の週末にジャンプをやってみって手を骨折した。本当に悲しかった。あとは楽しみイントロギーターの授業を中止しなければならなかった。大学の最後のセメスターでかろうじて学生だけどまだ悲しかった。８週間にキャストを着なくちゃた。運よく最後のセメスターなので一つ真面目のクラスがあってその他は大事じゃなかった。手を骨折するの最悪の部分はスノーボードをすることはだめだ、スノーボードをしない。最後の週末のスノーボードのシーズンにキャストを脱いでからシーズンの最後の３日の金と土と日にスノーボードをした。本当にキャストを脱ぐ二日のあとだった。なので、今年のスノーボードをすることがとてもワクワクする。家から山まで車で二十分だけかかります。実は山と家は近いと習ってる時に自分のアメリカのスノーボードを日本にもらって決めっていたのでもらった。

Formal register communication
My English teacher says that in a formal register of communication, when people meet for the first time, they say to each other:
Partner A: How do you do!
Partner B replies: How do you do!
My teacher says that it is unacceptable for Partner B to reply with something like: Everything is good, or I'm fine, thank you...
Recently, in a 1977 movie, I heard the following dialogue:
Partner A:
How do you do!
Partner B replies: I'm very well, thank you.
Perhaps the movie uses an outdated form of usage, or it's a more informal style of communication.
Please explain the appropriateness and correctness of using these expressions.
And, if it’s not too much trouble, please write which country you live in.

Install Broadband for My New Apartment
I applied for broadband service at a China Unicom center last noon. The engineer finished installing it for me around 7 p.m.
It was about half an hour later than my appointment time. However, it was understandable, as the engineers were extremely busy on weekends, and the engineer had informed me in advance that it would be late due to a minor issue with his last client.

Communicative registers.
English has three type of register: formal, for people we do not know, or people we need to be polite to (like the boss), neutral/general for people we do not know well, and informal, for friends and family.
This is the text we were given in English class.
I wrote an assignment on this website: I need to write a dialogue using an informal register.
A site member commented on this suggestion: "register" kind-of has the same meaning as "tone", but it's really only in more technical jargon (especially in computer science). "Tone" is used for writing and speaking.
I'm having doubts about the use of the expressions "informal register" and "communicative register."
Please explain the appropriateness and correctness of using these expressions.

En el futuro.
En el futuro voy a completar una subespecialidad en urología en cirugía robótica. No sé exactamente adonde la voy a hacer, pero las aplicaciones abrirán en diciembre. He agregado todos mis archivos para someter cuando la aplicación se abra. Tengo una amiga que está en Nuevo Jersey haciendo su subespecialidad ahora y a ella le gusta mucho ese programa allí. Me dice que cree que me gustaría ese programa porque hay muchas oportunidades para hacer cirugías únicas que no se hacen en otros programas. Definitivamente voy a aplicar a ese programa, pero ahora voy a mantenerme la mente abierta.

Umweltprobleme in meiner Stadt
In meiner Stadt gibt es mehrere Umweltprobleme, die den Alltag deutlich beeinflussen. Einerseits ist die Luftqualität schlecht, weil viele Menschen täglich mit dem Auto fahren. Andererseits fehlt es an guten Fahrradwegen, sodass nachhaltige Alternativen kaum genutzt werden.
Außerdem gibt es oft viele Probleme mit der Wasserverschmutzung am Strand. Das führt zu unangenehmen Gerüchen und zieht Tiere an.
Infolgedessen fühlen sich viele Einwohner gestresst, und die Lebensqualität verschlechtert sich.
Insgesamt wird deutlich, dass mehr nachhaltige Maßnahmen notwendig wären, damit die Umwelt langfristig geschützt werden kann.

Hay muchas cosas que me gustan, pero apenas las hago.
Me he dado cuenta de que me gusta dar paseos. Todo el mundo sabe que es saludable y a mí me gusta, pero siempre me invento alguna excusa para no hacerlo. Paso mucho, pero mucho, tiempo frente a pantallas y creo que eso me enturbia la mente y que dar paseos es una buena manera de despejármela.
Me gusta mucho tener un entorno limpio, pero por desgracia, no tengo el hábito de limpiar con regularidad. Cuando mi apartamento está sucio o desordenado no logro motivarme para hacer nada productivo.

数学最高！
幼少期から数学が大好き。4歳時に父の泥がついたトラックで「18＋18＝３６」（この読み法は「じゅうはちたすじゅうはちはさんじゅうろく」だっけ？）。その瞬間、父さんは「その子は数学は大好きだよ」と知っていた。その時から、父さんはいつも難しい数学を私に教えていった。だからもちろん大学の専攻は物理だ！えっ、ふざけるな？先に「数学」ことだけとしゃべったりかい？うん、そりゃそうだが、実に最初の専攻は物理です。でも後は数学だけの専攻を完了しました。だって物理はちょっと難しすぎたから。どもどうして物理の専攻をするか！あっ、そりゃ物理も大好きだから。8歳時ごろ、6年間毎日で「PBS: Into The Cosmos」（「宇宙に入った」意味っぽい）を見ました。その番組は宇宙物理学とか量子物理学とかと話していました。だから物理の専攻を選んでました。物理は趣味だけど、数学は才能です（現に数学も趣味でも、物理はもっとよりも）。
たびに変わる調子を使ったと分っています。私は説明するのが敬語を使って法がいいと思っていますから。

Fin de semana.
Este fin de semana hizo mucho frío, 6 grados bajo cero. El sábado mi marido y yo fuimos a elegir materiales para la estantería y luego compramos algo de comida. Debido al clima, tuvimos que preparar un lugar para ellos dentro de la casa, en lugar de afuera como habíamos planeado al principio. Luego esperamos la entrega y los descargamos. Esto nos tomó casi todo el día y terminamos muy cansados. El domingo cociné y limpié la casa, mientras mi esposo organizaba sus herramientas y revisaba los datos del plano. Creo que no me he cansado tanto en 5 días de trabajo como en este fin de semana.

伝統と外国人のこと
数日前にYouTubeで日本の食事のエチケットに関して動画を見ました。その動画は大抵箸の使い方が述べられました。そして、嫌い橋に関して一部がありました。それで考えてしまいました。日本に来る旅人に嫌い橋のルールはなるべく果たせばいいと思います。逆に、果たさなければ失礼に見えるとおもいます。けれど、例えば「いただきます」というと手を寄せるの伝統は、外国人するならどう見えますか。そうする旅人は日本の歴史や文化が知っているふりをするみたいだろうか。例えば、もしそれは神道の伝統だったら、日本人より外国人の知識は少なくて、その伝統の深さは全体分かられないはずでしょね。そう考えてちょっと困りました。その投稿を読んだ皆さんはどうおもいますか。
そして皆さん聞きたいことは一つあります。例えば投稿を書くうちに、その投稿を読む皆さんに質問を聞きたかったら、「あなた」を使ったらいいですか。失礼ではないですか。

Neuseeländer
Gestern habe ich einen Neuseeländer kennengelernt. Vorher hatte ich noch nie diesen Dialekt gehört und fand ihn ähnlich zum Australischen, doch er klingt nicht so lustig. Man kann im Internet leider nicht so viele Aufnahmen vom Kiwi-Dialekt finden. Mir macht es richtig Spaß, die grundlegenden regionallen Slangs anzueignen und lernen, verschiedene Dialekte voneinander zu unterscheiden.
