would anyone mind answer my question?
The pie chart shows the amount of money that a children’s charity located in the USA spent and received in 2016.
I want to paraphrase the phrase "the amount of money that a children’s charity located in the USA received." Can I use the word "revenue or income"?
according to what i read, income is the money that a company makes from its activities, after taking away some costs. so, i cannot use income here, is that correct? can you recommend me some other ways to paraphrase it?

Nuestro pequeño jardín
Actualmente vivimos en un departamento orientado al sur. Así que recibe mucha luz solar, lo que es estupendo para cultivar plantas en nuestro salón. No tuve la oportunidad de cuidarlas en mi departamento anterior porque no estaba muy soleado y como se siente bien ser responsable de algo hemos decidido empezar a llenar el espacio con plantas de todo tipo. En el alféizar se puede ver dos tazas de cebolletas y otras tres donde estamos sembrando tomates. Mi padre me regaló semillas de tomate y ¡acaban de brotar hace poco! También tenemos colgada una planta de potos. Las personas que vivían en el departamento la cultivaron y nos la dejaron cuando se fueron. Los inquilinos anteriores tenían flores en su balcón pero actualmente no hay nada fuera.
Tengo muchas esperanzas puestas para nuestro pequeño jardín. Quiero instalar macetas horizontales en el balcón para tener espacio amplio para cebollitas cuando las necesitemos. Espero traspasar los tomates de las tazas a las macetas y cosecharlos en el verano. Por último, espero cultivar fresas en el balcón y usarlas para hacer leche de fresa que serviré a mis amigos cuando vengan a visitarme.

Ein regnerischer Tag am Bahnhof
Am Bahnhof unter dem Dach such wir Pendler Schutz vor dem andauernden Regen. Am erhöhten Bahnhof sehe ich auf die auf der Straße beschäftigten Passanten hinab, einer hat es eilig und parkt sein Auto, woraufhin er in ein Laden flieht, als ob der Regen Hagel wäre. Selbst die Tauben schließen sich uns unter dem Dach an und lassen die Feder austrocknen.
Die Züge treffen einer nach dem anderen ein, während Wasser von den Dächern herunterfällt. Drinnen ist es bestimmt relativ behaglich, denke ich, während ich meine Jacke Ärmel abklopfe, um die verbliebenen Wassertröpfchen zu entfernen. Wenngleich ich für den Regen nicht sonderlich gut ausgerüstet bin, schaue ich mich zufrieden um, denn der Regen führt den wachsenden Pflanzen Nahrung zu und lässt uns die sonnigen Tage wertschätzen.

Victoire ou Defaite
La victoire comme la defaite ne sont jamais certains à cent pourcent pourtant il y en a plein indices. Apparement sinon ces sept indices on connaitra le resultat même avant que la bataille commence. D'abord il y a foi des peuple, plus précisement leur foi en leur diregeant qui peut être un roi, un gouvernement et cetera. Ensuite le général avec la plus compétence. De plus qui a les avantages du terrain et de la méteo. Dans quel camp la discipline est plus enforcer. Quelle armée est la plus puissante. Où les officiers et les soldates sont mieux êntrainer et éduquer et enfin où la consistencé des destributions des punitions et des récompenses. Avec eux on peut plus précisement déviner le resultat d'une bataille.

Going to Mount Lu
I'm going to have a four-day holiday in Mount Lu. It's a famous mountain in middle China and a world cultural heritage site.
I'm a little excited because it's my first time to go there.
There are many many well-known ancient poems about Mount Lu.
One of my favorites is from Li Bai: Under the sunshine, an incense burner produces purple smoke. Remotely I see a waterfall hanging before the river. It's flying down three thousand feet, suspected that the Milky Way fell through nine heavens.
Another of my favorites is from Su Shi: Seen horizontally, it becomes a range; seen obliquely, it forms peaks; From afar or close, high or low, all views differ. Not knowing the real features of Mount Lu, Merely because one is situated amidst the mountain himself.

Preschoolers dig potatoes at my father's field
Two years ago, I decided to let a young man use the field that hadn't been taken care of since my father's death. I knew this guy through the local agricultural cooperative. He told me he would do farming with his mom at the field, adding he wanted to have preschool kids dig potatoes there. His dream-inspiring story uplifted me.
When I passed by this field last month, I saw two kindergarten buses parked alongside it. Then, 50 or 60 preschoolers in gym clothes and boots got off them one after another. Potato digging! Under a clear sky, divided into two groups, they were listening to the guy, taking turns digging potatoes and being photographed as a memory.
When I talked to the guy while I was taking care of flowers at a nearby field, he beamed and replied, "It’d been rainy long but at last the sun came out, making the best opportunity for potato digging." While waiting for the buses to come, the kids had fun picking up acorns at the adjacent shrine and greeted me merrily by saying "Hello."
I greatly appreciated that they made full use of the field that my dad left behind. Feeling gratitude for them, I remembered my dad in the corner of my mind. He grew vegetables from early morning to dusk. Fieldwork was his motivation in his life. Hey, Dad, my decision was correct, wasn't it? The sky I looked up at was just brilliant.

The Mystery of My White Hair
I listened to my mother say it, "The cousin of mine faced the same problem (the problem is the growth of white hair) with me in the past, but since he was married and his wife gave birth to two lovely babies for him, now you are hard to look for a white hair on the back of his head." I couldn't help but sigh, " Wow, it's a miracle. " Lying in bed, I pondered over mother's words. I kept on chattering though on one is listening," Maybe there is a curse, which every male will grow white hair when they grow up to the age of 15, and it only exists on my family; ""It can only be inherited, not eradicated. " Consequently, I thought my cousin's white hair didn't disappear absolutely, just transferred all his white hairs from him to his baby boy. When the baby grows up to the age of 15, he will live in the shadow of white hairs. But who originally brought the curse to my family? and what's his intention? I can't sleep because I'm preoccupied with these thoughts. (It's a fiction novel, don't take it seriously by the way.)

Sono in ufficio. È piuttosto tranquillo, non siamo in molti. Devo andarci di nuovo venerdì e poi mi rimangono solo 3 volte in cui devo andarci.
Oggi c'è un vento terribile. Esco dall'ufficio per fumare e devo tenermi protetta dalle cose che cadono.
Sono felicissima perché dopo aver finito il turno, avrò dei giorni liberi.
È un nuovo mese, sono iniziate le faccende domestiche ma non mi importa, le faccio sempre comunque.

Das Thema "Persönliche Kontakte und Internet" finde ich heutzutage sehr aktuell. Ganz stimme ich Tanja zu. In unsere Zeitalten wird der Internet einen guten Werkzeug für Freunde, die sich nicht sehen können. Aber andere Seit vebringen wir oft ganze Zeit im Internet. Nicht in echt. Anstatt des Besuch einer Restaurant oder einer Ausstellung vebringen wir Zeit im Facebook, Vkontakte, Computerspilen und etc. Die Situation muss wir ändern. Ich hoffe, dass alle in Zukünft zum lieber Seit ändern wird.

“Más vale maña que fuerza”. Con astucia y planificación adecuada, incluso las tarea más difíciles puedes abordarse con éxito. Así mismo, la técnica, la práctica y los advances de la tecnología son herramientas poderosas que pueden convertir lo imposible en posible.
Los seres humanos han evolucionado el pensamiento crítico, lo que puede conllevar las habilidades de superar sobre desafíos con eficiencia. Por ejemplo, la primera invención transformada fue el fuego, proporcionando la eficacia de obtener mas nutrientes de la comida con menos esfuerzos. Los humanos prehistóricos tenían más tiempo de desarrollar herramientas, idiomas y invertir en la cultivation debido de los advances cómo el fuego. Un ejemplo moderno puede incluir las computadoras, lo que puede realizar numerosas funciones rápidamente para volverse fácil tareas repetitivas. Con menos esfuerzos, la capacidad por el progreso en una gama amplia de industrias es exponencial con el poder de las súper computadoras.
Por otra parte, algunas opinan que más fuerza es necesario de superar los obstáculos físicos. Por ejemplo, un lanzador de béisbol puede enfocarse en su fuerza para tirar la pelota con la suficiente rapidez. Aunque su fuerza no es adecuada para brindar el talento de tirar la pelota en las ligas profesionales, lo que puede necesitar años de entrenamiento y práctica para refinar las técnicas. Asimismo, los trabajadores médicos necesitan compensar de sus estatura con maniobras que pueden aprovechar de la gravedad y la resistencia para arreglar los huesos desplazados en el departamento de emergencia.
Sin duda, Roma no se hizo en un día. De la misma manera, las destrezas requeridas para vencer sobre un reto puede requirer la perspicacia del pensamiento crítico. Con la impetus de un desafío imponente, la necesidad puede impulsar la adaptación de nuevas estrategias, lo que puede reemplazar la fuerza física a favor de una solución innovadora.

A coroa

Comecei a ver A coroa da Netflix. Minha irmão é uma grande fã deste programa, então querei o que há de tão especial nele. Acabei de terminar vendo a primeira temporada e é muito excelente. Para alguns, eles podem achar entediante porque é bastante lento e seco. Mas, eu gosto o dialogo e da atuação, tudo é muito refinado.

À qui appartient les nuages ?
C’était le titre d’un article que j’ai lu récemment. C’était un article très intéressant et qui a donné à réfléchir. Je me suis tombé sur cela dans un magazine et je l’ai présenté à mes amis. Il a suscité beaucoup de discussion.
En bref, le point essentiel est le suivant. Contrairement à la mer, la terre et même l’espace, les nuages ne disposent aucun statut juridique. Les nuages dans le ciel que nous voyons appartiennent à personne. Néanmoins, certains pays manipulent les nuages à leur avantage. J’étais choquée d’apprendre que pendant la guerre du Vietnam, les États-Unis a manipulé les nuages pour intensifier la mousson. Le nom scientifique pour ce processus est l’ensemencement. Oui, un virelangue !
Je m’inquiète car ce sujet soulève de nombreuses questions : des questions éthiques, juridiques et économiques. Il existe le risque de conflits avec les pays voisins. Selon mes recherches, une convention a été adoptée en 1976 qui a interdit l’utilisation les nuages comme une arme de guerre. Mais à mon avis, cette convention est inefficace et ne va pas assez loin. Elle doit être plus compréhensive et ne pas se limiter aux armes de guerre seulement. Avez-vous des points de vue ?

«Bricklayer»
Είδα μια ταινία δράσης με τίτλο «Bricklayer». Για τα πρώτα 30 λεπτά της ταινίας, δεν ήμουν σίγουρη για την ιστορία. Πρόκειται για το αντιαμερικανικό αίσθημα των Ελλήνων ή για το σκάνδαλο εντός της CIA; Οι σκηνές δράσης ήταν κυρίως σε εξέλιξη στα σκοτεινά πλάνα, οπότε δεν ήταν εύκολο να καταλάβει κανείς ποιοι ήταν εχθροί ή ποιοι χτυπήθηκαν. Ωστόσο, η σκηνή στην ελληνική πόλη Θεσσαλονίκη ήταν καταπληκτική! Η όμορφη θάλασσα, η πανηγυρική εκκλησία, τα σπιτάκια στο λόφο...Απογοητευτικά, η σκηνή που περίμενα να παρακολουθήσω, το καφέ στο λόφο, πέρασε για ένα μόνο δευτερόλεπτο. Το πιο εντυπωσιακό ήταν η λέξη του ήρωα: Τα τούβλα δεν με προδίδουν ποτέ. Βρίσκονται πάντα στο σωστό μέρος κα τη σωστή στιγμή. Νομίζω ότι αυτό ακριβώς ήταν το προμήνυμα του αποτελέσματος ότι θα προδοθεί από την πρώην αγαπημένη του. Γενικά μου άρεσε αυτή η ταινία. Όσο για τα ελληνικά, μπόρεσα να ακούσω μόνο δύο λέξεις, "σιγά! σιγά" και "αστυνομία!"

日本の告白文化
日本では、告白文化ということがある。告白文化には、好きな人に「好きです。付き合ってください」ってちゃんと言わなきゃ。日本人の友達によると、テキストとか人の前など言い方はどっちでもいい。「それでも、勇気のような人だったら、人の前には方がいい」と言っていた。俺がそう思う。実は俺は好きな人も日本人（この前に言った友達に関係ないよ）だ！日本から彼女は俺の学校に留学生で来た。「好きだよ」を伝え方がわかんないけど、「どうしようかなー」と考え込んでいる。普段、みんなは直接に言ってほしいのに、直接すぎてどうしよう？もっと曖昧方法があるんじゃない？態度が大きい人みたい訳ねえんだろう！「好きだよ！じゃあ、付き合いなさい！これはお前の責任からすぐに答えろよ！」俺の気持ちはそんな風に伝えば俺の事を許せないよ。もっとロマンティック方法があるんじゃない？どうすればいいのか。。。

這本書是法蘭克福學派的核心作品：霍克海默和阿多諾認為啟蒙毀了神話和想像力為了追求理性。 接著透過文化工業的工具和產品逐步統一了人們的思想和生活方式，實現了社會統治。 書的主要意義在描述文化工業的那一章，作者描述了文化工業怎麼標準化人們的美學和思想，導致墨守成規。 第三章關於反猶太沒有提任何心儀的內容。 第一張反而比較有個性，他們懷念魔術的時代，批評科學。 我承認可能因為職業毛病，我沒有很用心去看，後來當他們開始深入分析薩德和拉克洛，我就直接跳過了。
PS：文化工業存在一個很重要的問題，訊息失真：許多流傳的名言實際上表達的意思不是原來他作者或作品的完整意思。 甚至連蘇格拉底、黑格爾的一些名言總是了解完全相反...本來有組織有意誤導和造假也算了，但是天啊，打開一本書有這麼難嗎？ 不過，話說回來，法國大革命爆發並不是因為大家都認真閱讀了盧梭的著作，而是因為很多人是透過文化（前）工業的產品——報紙、小說、小黃書等等被啟蒙思想影響。
