Un torneo de ajedrez
Miré unos juegos de ajedrez que hicieron los mejores en el mundo. Jugaron para avanzar a los finales contra Magnus Carlson quién es el mejor jugador ahora. Jugaron dos juegos y el que ganar más avanza. En el primer juego blanco tuvo un oportunidad de vencer pero no lo vió entonces empató el juego. Empató el segundo. Así que ninguno ha ganado jugaron una vez más un juego de ajedrez que se llama Armageddon. La diferencia es que no hay empates, bueno hay empates pero si lo ocurre negro gana. Entonces los jugadores pujan por tiempo y el que puja lo menos juega con este tiempo y el otro tiene la regular. Este juego negro tuvo ocho minutos y blanco quince. Y al fin negro ganó por medio de un empate.

When I was a child, I used to get bored and video games provided me challenges that made me feel happy.
2.-Have video games helped you so much in your life?
At first, video games did not help me. They instead made me feel worse. Actually, I use them to be a better person, to improve my mental health and to learn languages.
3.-Why do you think you will learn the benefits of a video game?
When I was reading the textbook called "Reality is Broken" I discovered the benefits of games and it inspired me to make a good use of them and to learn more about games later.

My name's Arthur and I live in France. I am 14 years old and, soon, I will be 15 ! (My birthday is on 22nd of April)
I have been learning English at school since I am 8, bur I am really focused on it since 2 years. I think I am at an intermediate level like B2.
I am passionate about learning languages and understanding how does the brain functions.
I enjoy reading and watching films/videos in English. I think immersion is the best way to learn a language.

The Death of Grammar
It’s said that today communication through instant messengers is surpassing other ways of communication. People get used to sending emojis instead of complete sentences and recording voices instead of sending emails. Some consider this situation truly dangerous and have an assumption that instant messaging may lead to the death of grammar and spelling rules at some point. Even though those fears aren’t groundless in general, I can’t agree with this idea. I don’t think we’ll lose our ability to communicate properly only because developing technologies let us send emojis instead of words.
We certainly can do without proper grammar and spelling on the whole. Now that we have Snapchat, Telegram and Instagram, why should we bother ourselves with what’s happening with a language? Just look at modern teenagers who practically live on their phones, ignoring reality and spending all their time online. I have two 12-year-old nieces who live in different countries and don’t know each other; nevertheless, both of them do the same thing at the same time, namely stick to the screens of their smartphones, watching videos, recording voice messages, making selfies, and doing whatever else they might think of. It seems to me that if their parents just let them, these girls would spend all their time with phones, and I hope that the situation won’t get to this point one day.
That said, I still don’t think we should panic and take away phones from children and adults in order to defend proper grammar and spelling. First of all, it’s cruel. Secondly, it even sounds unrealistic; I won’t give you my phone, for example. So, what should be done? What will help us to preserve correct grammar and spelling in the chaos and craziness of online chats, bots, and apps that are presumably destroying our languages right now? Well, I think we have to put things in perspective in this matter.
At the very heart of any educational system are universities and colleges which are meant to be temples of knowledge and wisdom. It seems to me that professors and lecturers won't let education fall to its lowest level. It's true that education is a worthwhile opportunity to enlighten one’s mind. That being said, in order to get a degree, anyone has to go through various exams and assessments, among which are making calculations, writing essays, and so on. To put it simply, the very concept of education implies willingness to solve tasks, obey restrictions and study rules whether it's laws of math or it's laws of grammar. With this kind of restrictions and goals, we’ll lose proper grammar and spelling only when we lose our education.
A second large group of people who won’t let grammar and spelling die is language learners. There’s no shortage of people who are deeply interested in learning languages, and among their goals are usually correct writing and spelling. If so many of us desire to be fluent in foreign languages, how can we lose them? Indeed, that doesn’t mean that we always can produce foreign writing and speech correctly. However, the desire to learn itself protects us from the danger of ignorance. Additionally, language learners begin with learning the basics, which means they pick up slang and acronyms much later, if they do this at all. I still can’t pick up idioms, not because I don’t like them but because I don’t need them as much as grammar.
The third category of people who guarantee us that proper grammar and spelling won’t fade away down the road is writers and readers. There will always be people who value literature, choosing novels over messengers and old-fashioned essays over apps. Whether old literature, modern fiction, or even dictionaries, this layer of culture practically guarantees the preservation of proper grammar for us. On the flip side, there are also writers who like to experiment with the language, writing without punctuation or compiling books from online chats. However, by and large, they represent only a minimal cluster of writers. In general, people write according to recognized standards of grammar and punctuation.
As a result, I don’t think we have to worry that grammar will disappear at some point, leaving us exposed to incomprehensible acronyms and emoji's sequences. Even though today we're using short messages, we still have to write formal emails to our bosses, communicate with our children’s teachers and speak clearly with our friends. You can say to your friend who’s chilling at your house, “LOL, have you seen this girl aka Ellen? Omg, she’s hot AF, a fucking dope.”, But in general, I think it's unlikely that this kind of communication will become a commonplace in the future. Even though we have room for simplified language in our culture today, it doesn’t mean that this kind of language will absorb all the others.

Tagebucheintrag 8.02.2023 - Weinen und Malen
TW: furchtbare Nachrichten
Drei Tage her ist noch einmal etwas furchtbar passiert. Zwei riesige Erdbeben in der Türkei und Syrien haben mehrere Städten zerstört. Ich habe gelesen, dass mehr als 16000 Personen gestorben sind. Diese offizielle Zahl ist sicherlich untertrieben, weil die Notdienste sind immer noch beschäftigt und die Lage noch total chaotisch ist. Außerdem ist es Winter und die Temperaturen sinken stark während der Nacht. Zusätzlich ist die Kommunikation schwer, denn diese Region ist nicht für ihre Demokratie und freie Presse bekannt.
Wenn man den Fernseher anschaut, die Radio hört oder die Zeitungen liest, kann man mit den viel zu vielen Geschichten überholt werden. Ich bin nicht direkt oder sogar indirekt betroffen, aber ich habe geweint und, wie immer nach solcher Nachrichten, habe ich mich beschlossen, dass es besser wütend als verzweifelt zu sein.
Die Weisen sagen, dass Wut ein gefährliches Gefühl ist, und dass es besser wäre, eine volle Akzeptanz zu erreichen. Man sollte nur an sich und seine Verwandte denken, wenn man hilflos und machtlos ist. Ist Wut wirklich und immer schlecht? Das ist meiner Meinung nach eine Wertedebatte. Derzeit folge ich aber die Lehre der Weisen.
Ich habe ein Porträt gemalt, um es einer Freundin zu schenken. Und obwohl ich gewöhnlicherweise für diese Art von Malerei sehr schlecht bin, habe ich dieses Mal geschafft! Na ja, ich heiße nicht Da Vinci, aber das Ergebnis ist kein Grund schamrot zu werden. Auf einer egoistische Aufsicht, bin ich an mir zufrieden. Ich wünsche allen den anderen Menschen dieselbe Glück.

Tagebucheintrag 5.02.2023 - Das Geschäft
Für den Geburstag meines Freundes habe ich eine Geschenkidee gesucht. Habt ihr gemerkt, dass es immer schwieriger, ein gutes passendes Geschenk für einen Mann zu finden, als für eine Frau? Es ist besonders den Fall, wenn man nicht so viel Geld hat, und der Mann Hobbies mit Technologie hat, und keine Interesse an Kleidungen oder Dekogegenständen. Was er braucht oder will, und günstig ist, hat er selbst schon gekauft.
Etwas ist mir jedoch eingefallen: ein Spiel wäre eine gute Gelegenheit, Freunden zu einladen und ein gutes Moment zu haben. Man bekommt etwas materiell, mit dem man ein immaterielles Vorteil hat.
Ich bin in einen der zwei spezialisierten Laden der Stadt, die eine Vielfalt von Spiele verkaufen, eingetritten. Dort gab es mehr Sachen als in Ali Babas Keller! Ich war im Moment die einzige Kundin im Geschäft. Die Geschäfthandlerin hatte Zeit, um mit mir zu sprechen. Sie hat mir erklärt, dass sie bald im Rent wird. Sie hat versucht, ein Nachnehmen zu finden, aber niemand scheint interessiert. Zwar verdient man kaum mit einem solchen Geschäft, aber sie konnte damit trotzdem bis heute erleben.
Sie sah sehr traurig aus, wenn sie mir das alles sagte. Dieses Ort ist für sie nicht nur ihre Arbeit, sondern auch ihre Leidenschaft. Sie hat es 1990, nach der Wende, geöffnet und seitdem war sie immer mit Spielen beschäftigt. Auch als Rentnerin wird sie an Veranstaltungen planen und mitteilen. Was für eine tolle und starke Frau!
Heutzutage kaufen mehr und mehr online. Ich bereue es, weil ich die Spiele berühren schatze. Online geht es für mich nicht. Aber ich bin eine >> Dinosaurin << und die Welt ändert sich ohne mich zuzuhören. Ich konnte ein Spiel kaufen, aber einen vollen Spielladen kann ich mir leider nicht leisten. Im März wird das Geschäft schließen und die Stadt wird noch eine zusätzliche leere Flasche haben.
Das Spiel heißt Azul und sieht wunderschön aus. Ich freue mich, es zu probieren!

I have been annoyed by the canker sores for five days. They hurt like hell! The reason is that I bite myself. At first, I just thought I could do nothing and wait until it heals. No, I’m wrong, it doesn't work. Moreover, it became bigger and bigger. Every time I eat food, it always hurts a lot. I started to use the ointment and eat Vitamin C. Now, it has become better. I believe that it doesn’t take more than three days to heal. Afterward, I can eat whatever I want!

Today I started to pack up my luggage since I will return to the apartment in two days. Time flies, the winter vacation will end soon. I have improved this winter vacation, instead of wasting time vegging out. Although I don’t have much studying time as I expected, I only have one item of my schedule that is not done. And I think it can be done in three days. I’m looking forward to the new semester because I can control my time more easily.

Today our family attended the wedding banquet. Its main characters are my uncle's family,including him, his wife and their child who is under one year old. It was held at a Japanese restaurant. All of the dishes were so delectable and the atmosphere was great! So, all the attendants had a wonderful time. When I saw my little cousin, I was over the moon! He is so tiny and adorable. This little boy must have a blissful childhood because he has two older brothers and three older sisters!

Today our family went to a historical urban area of the city where I have lived by LRT. It’s been a long time since I went there due to the long distance. It changed a lot. There are many new stores selling seafood. There is also a ferry pier station, but we didn’t take the ferry for the limited time. Whoever goes there will eat a bowl of shaved ice or shaved snow. So, we did it without doubt. The luckiest thing is today is a beautiful day.

Finalmente il fine settimana sta arrivando
Ho appena finito il programma di oggi; domani vado per un po' in ufficio e poi posso godermi il fine settimana come piace a me.
Non ho nient'altro da fare oggi tranne cucinare. Ho avuto molte cose da fare al lavoro e anche in casa, quindi adesso sono stanca morta!
Voglio rilassarmi il prima possibile, me lo merito. Non sono una persona cattiva ma ho bisogno di fare cose il più possibile per sentirmi produttiva.
Il mio cervello funziona così. Non ho qualsiasi ragione di lamentarmi - mi piace essere produttiva anche se sono stanchissima alla fine.
Ora vado a preparare gli spaghetti: ho una fame che non se ne va!

Si vous le regardez se promener n'importe où, après deux ou trois secondes, vous l'avez déjà oublié; mais ce n'est pas votre défaut, pas du tout. Il a plusieurs amis, il n'est pas trop maigre ou pas trop gros, et il est tout à fait médiocre à l'école, bien que son intelligence le pourrait mener bien plus loin. Normal, un garçon comme tous les autres.
Écrire sur garçons comme lui serait très ennuyeux, et je pense que les histoires sur des garçons normals auxquels le hasard donne des belle aventures sont insupportables. Mais non, ceci n'est pas le cas. En réalité il est très intéressant parce qu'il n'a pas un Dieu, pas une idée un peu établie et solide; mais ceci n'est pas l'effet d'une insouciance, produit de bêtise, mais d'une intelligence plutôt étrange, plutôt particulière.
Le fait est qu'il comprend toutes les idées, il peut les critiquer de la première à la dernière. Mais il n'en a jamais trouvé une dont il est tombé amoureux. Bien entendu, comment peut-il aimer une femme s'il n'a jamais cru à aucune idée? D'ailleurs, parler d'amour chez lui est inutile, il n'a rien à dire.
Donc, je ne sais pas s'il est conscient de tout ça, mais si je dusse y gager, mon billet tomberait sur son intelligence, pas sur l'insouciance.
Il est au milieu de tout, tout a un peu de sens, rien est important et rien superficiel. Mais il n'est pas un nihiliste, pas un chrétien; tout a un sens mais rien n'en a pas assez pour être important. Rien à sourire vraiment, rien auquel plurer la nuit; et de fait il sourit seulement à demi, et quand il pleure, il semble utiliser les larmes seulement pour vider les yeux.

Ma vie quotidienne
Bonsoir à tous. Je suis une débutante. Je viens d'Afrique du Sud mais maintenant j’habite à Andorre. Je suis célibataire et je n’ai pas d’enfants. J’ai deux chats.
Je parle espagnol et catalan à un niveau intermédiaire mais je ne les parle pas couramment. Ma langue maternelle est l’anglais.
Je veux apprendre le français parce que mon club de kayak de mer compte de nombreux membres français. J’aimerais pouvoir parler avec eux.
Le club va avoir un voyage en Bretagne en août. Mon objectif est d’apprendre le plus possible avant d’y aller.
Je sais que cela semble étrange de vivre à Andorre et de pratiquer le kayak de mer. En réalite, Andorre n'est pas très loin de la mer.
Cela prend quatre heures en voiture. C'est trop loin pour une journée mais ça vaut le coup pour deux jours.

Hozzáfogták a veszekedéshez egymással az almára, mert persze, minden úgy gondoli, hogy ő a legszebb. A veszekedés elintézésere, istenök kérték, hogy Parisz, a Priam fiája, lagyen bíró. Minden istennő ígért Parisznek egy ajándéket, ha kiválasztaná őt. Athené neki ígérti a győzelmet háborúban, Héra az uralkodást minden embert felett, Aphrodité a legszebb nő Földön szerelmetet. Ez nő Helen volt. A Spartai király felesége is volt. Mivel Parisz beleszerette belé, kiválasztotta Aphroditét. Ez közreműködött kirobbantani a trójai háborút.
