Do social media have more advantages or disadvantages?
(please feel free to not only correct my (grammar) mistakes but also to wright more suitable vocabulary and phrases. I need to improve my English skills to C1-Level)
Social media is a very powerful tool these days.
It allows to get in contact with almost the whole world. You can stay in contact with your friends, even if they're on the other side of the planet.
Also you can gain new friendships and even new work-relationships.
Some people find their dream job trough social media, for others social media is their dream job.
But social media platforms are not always as shiny as the may seems.
On social media everybody wants to impress, and so they just show the best sides of their lives, jobs, holidays or even of their bodies.
Especially the last point can be very dangerous for our younger users. Because if they compare each other with fake bodies, and fake faces they want to become like them. They get like a blindness if they're confronted with these pictures every day and that means that they're no longer able to recognize what is fake and what is real.
This can lead to conditions such as eating disorders or diabetes.

Breakfast
Usually I have no appetite in the morning, so I just eat some fruit or yogurt. If I need to do physical work, I prefer to eat some bread with jam (I like orange jam with orange peel in it). When I was a kid, my grandpa would prepare hot milk and a kind of special biscuits for my breakfast. The biscuits are dry when eaten on their own, but they taste delicious when soaked in milk. I used to love it, but...after eating them for breakfast for three years, I got tired of them. To be honest, now I miss them, because I can't buy them in the city I live.

I Carpentieri
Di recente stavo da un amico perché mi ha chiesto aiuto per costruire una casetta da giardino. La sua vecchia era diventata marcia e alla fine è crollata e pensava di creare la nuova da solo. A quanto pare, non avendo mai costruito prima neanche la più semplice cosa, voleva buttarsi con l'incarico di fare una casetta intera! Quando gli ho chiesto "Ma come lo facciamo, cosa sarebbe il piano?" Mi ha risposto solo con: "Ho una sega, ho un martello e ho visto una casetta..."
Alla fine sono riuscito a convincerlo che dovessimo cominciare con qualcosa di meno impegnativo, credendo che saremmo stati poveri dilettanti allo sbaraglio, e abbiamo deciso invece di provare una piccola libreria autoportante (molto meglio per i principianti no?). C'è stata comunque un bel po da misurare, martellare, segare e anche forare ma, dato che eravamo in due, non c'abbiamo messo molto tempo e ce l'abbiamo fatta... ovviamente però, devo dirvi che il risultato non richiede un prezzo altissimo ma sarebbe adatta per mettere dentro questa "casetta" quando finalmente arriverà.

The Flowers in Early Summer
The weather has been quite good recently in Shanghai.

Passover
The story of Moses is true.
These stories all happened in biblical reality.
These stories are true because scientists discovered chariots on the seabed of the Red Sea.
Moses was an Israelite who was born in Egypt and grew up in Pharaoh's palace.
Moses was the leader of the Israelites. During his escape, Moses prayed before the Red Sea.
God parted the Red Sea so that the Israelites could pass through safely.
After the Israelites were safe, the sea swept away the Egyptian army.
He led the Israelites out of Egypt and to the Promised Land of Canaan.
However, Moses was not allowed to enter Canaan.
I tried to retell the story of Moses in English.
Passover comes from the Book of Exodus.
Passover is the oldest and most well-known Jewish holiday.

A Real Christian
Jesus was born from the Virgin Mary and died for our sins.
He rose from the dead, ascended into heaven and will return to judge the living and the dead.
These are the essential principles of Christianity.
But some Christians don't truly believe in God.
They are chasing secular things, never praying before doing something.
To judge whether a person is a real Christian, see if he says grace before a meal.
We say grace before meals and we pray before going out.
Before doing anything, we should pray.
After prayer, my heart is very calm and everything goes well.
I believe that all my prayers will be answered by Our Heavenly Father.
Every day some people are born, also some people die.
I thank God for giving us a day of peace and joy.

Des aventures
Il est difficile de donner une seule réponse à une question pareille. Cela s'applique d'une manière différente selon le contexte de la vie. Tout comme pour les peurs, il y a une grande portée de l'intensité en émotion et en réponse involontaire qu'on expérience pour chacun. J'essaie souvent de sortir de ma zone de confort, puisque je pense que cela est critique pour l’épanouissement personnel. Tout cela dit, il reste encore plusieurs zones dont je n’ai aucune intention de me sortir. En général, je prends en considération plusieurs aspects avant d'entreprendre une sortie. Parmi d'autres, voici aspects es plus importants : l'intensité de l'inconfort, l'utilité de l'activité, et l'effort exigé pour s'en sortir. Par exemple, j'ai peur de l'eau profonde, mais je ne m'attends jamais à être dans l'eau profonde, alors, il y a peu d'utilité là-dedans. En revanche, présenter devant les gens me fait peur et cela peut être utile dans la vie. Idéalement, je pourrais défier toutes mes craintes, mais il faut prioriser celles qui sont les plus importantes. Au fur et à mesure, je vais les affronter. Il me reste encore beaucoup de vie à vivre, au moins j'espère !

Mein Lieblingsweihnachtsfilm ist How the Grinch Stole Christmas. Das handelt von ein böser Charakter, der die Weihnachtszeit hasst. Er plant in ein Dorf zu gehen und die Weihnachtsdinge zu stehlen. Er geht mit seinem Hund in das Dorf und legt die Dekorationen und das Essen in seine Tasche. Niemand außer einer Mädchen steht auf. Aber sie spricht mit dem Grinch, und endlich gibt er alles zurück. Danach sind alle froh, und alle singen und tanzen.

Unterhaltsamer Vorbereitungsprozess
Heute habe ich wieder mal drei Stunden der Vorbereitung auf die kurz anstehenden Prüfungen gewidmet. Die Prüfungsphase fängt bei uns in knapp drei Wochen an, was genug Zeit für die Wiederholung sowie fürs Nachholen lässt. Um meine Lernroutine ein wenig aufzupeppern, bin ich heute Abend mit einem Komillitonen im Call gewesen. Wir haben zusammen eine Probetest abgelegt und dabei auch etwas gequatscht.
Überraschenderweise muss ich gestehen, dass mir dieser ganze Vorbereitungsprozess sogar Spaß macht. Ich habe einen festen Plan, dem ich gerne folge, und bin daher über meine künftigen Noten durchaus zuversichtlich.

Statement of purpose
I am submitting this letter in support of my application to enroll in the master's program in Speech and Language Pathology for the upcoming .. semester at Boston University. I believe that my current graduate education and work experience make me a good candidate for this program. My areas of interest involve assessing and treating patients with voice disorders, swallowing and feeding disorders, stuttering, cleft lip&palate and providing Augmentative and Alternative Communication intervention for all age groups.
My passion for this field developed through my academic studies and clinical experiences when I saw the impacts of learned information and skills that follow the evidence-based practice on patients' quality of life, well-being, becoming an effective communicator and eating safely and efficiently without complications.
My educational journey began by earning my Bachelor’s degree in Speech and Hearing Rehabilitation in Saudi Arabia at King Saud University (KSU). The Bachelor’s program is unique in that most of the courses provided are at a Master’s level to ensure competence, since an undergraduate can practice being a clinician. My work experience leads me to be interested in research, since we need to associate clinical practice with research to have better outcomes. I was determined not only to be an accredited Speech-Language Pathologist, but a competent Researcher as well.
I decided to enroll to Master of Speech and Language Pathology program at Boston University because the program has a high Rank nationally for MS Speech-Language Pathology, it has an excellent career preparation with strong employment outcomes and licensure success, since I am seeking admission to an ASHA-accredited program that has strong academic and clinical standards. BT University offers a comprehensive hands-on clinical training across a wide range of diagnosis which include clinical training for AAC for infants and toddlers, aphasia, stuttering, voice and swallowing disorders, Parkinson’s disease, and FEES training. In addition, it is considered as leading healthcare institution, and it provides opportunities for research.
In preparation for the path ahead, I have volunteered at a Speech-Pathology clinic for four months to assess and treat patients who stutter. Also participated in public awareness events since I was a member in Stuttering Hero Club. Also, I participated in writing scientific content in podcast to raise awareness about communication disorders in my country. I participated in developing a prototype for medical innovation when I was a student at King Saud University..
After graduation, I took many courses and workshops related to voice disorders, stuttering, cleft lip&plate and FEES workshops and tracheostomy courses.
According to my clinical experience, I worked as a Speech-Language Pathologist in different setting such as clinic , hospital and association which helped me to be exposed to various communication and swallowing disorders in children and adults. I have been working with patients who need AAC for years. I handled patients with communication disorders for about five years. Also, I worked with patients with swallowing disorders for various medical diagnoses for two years in a hospital. My clinical and professional experiences have increased my ability to work collaboratively within multidisciplinary healthcare teams. I faced some challenges during my work experience when I worked in a new hospital, and they didn’t have speech and swallowing service before. As a result, I participated in opening a new clinic and writing policies for the rehabilitation department, which developed my problem-solving and communication skills during this journey.
Alongside the enclosed documents, I would like to express my sincere desire to study in a rewarding learning environment. I trust that my determination, academics, work experience, and motivation make me an excellent candidate for your program. I appreciate your time and consideration and look forward to continuing this graduate journey at Boston University.

Mein Grundeinstellung zu Geld
Ich denke ich brauche nicht viel Geld. Ehrlich, ich brauche nur genug Geld um eine würdervolle Leben zu leben. Aber heute es ist sehr hart, um genug Geld zu haben. Das doch mich ängstlich machen.
Ich würde genug Geld um zu Karitas schenken, aber das ist nicht mein erstmal Priorität.
