Die Wäsche
In Deutschland gibt es fast keine Trockenmaschine, um die Wäsche zu trocknen. Ich habe das nur in einem Hostel schon gesehen. Normale Haushalte benutzen einen Wäscheständer, oder eine kleine Zahnstange, die öffnet, bis es sehr breit ist, um viele Wäsche darauf zu halten. Da hängen die Wäsche einige Stunden bis Tagen.
Da eine typische Wohnung in Deutschland ein bisschen klein ist, muss man merken, wo genau man seine Wäsche liegen kann. Man muss immer ein oder zwei Quadratmeter dafür lassen. In meiner ehemaligen Wohnung gab es kaum genug Platz umzulaufen und wenn man auf dem Sofa setzten mochte, müsste man einen Arm des Wäschehängers aufheben, so dass es wie eine Tür öffnen würde.

Introduction of Universal Grammar
Recently, I've been interested in Second Language Acquisition, a subfield of linguistic. Universal Grammar, which proposed by Noam Chomsky, is a fascinating and influential theory among SLA topics.
The concept of UG is that every human being, no matter what first language they speak, has the same innate language system in their mind. When people learn their first or second language, they would perceive the languages they hear and fit it into the innate system.
Noam Chomsky claims that humans need UG to learn language due to the complexity of human language. It explains why children can learn a language in a relatively short period of time compared to other complex skills. Also, children learn the language in similar stages. For example, children would learn negation in the early stages regardless of which language they speak.
So, here is a brief introduction of UG. Hopes you like it. I'm not a linguistic major so I might have some misunderstanding of UG and would appreciate any correction if I make a wrong explanation.

Helping people directly or by charities
The way to give a helping hand varies from person to person. Some people reckon that they should help the local community or give people direct help, while others argue that the best way to give a favor is to give money to charities. In my opinion, I agree with the former view.
On the one hand, people who believe in charitable organizations may hold that they can allocate public money equally and effectively. For example, some non-profit institutions may help schools from deprived areas with teaching facilities like building multi-functional classrooms, and recruiting well-qualified faculties. In this way, children from less well-off families can have access to sound a education, therefore they can break the poverty circle to be contributing members of society.
However, some individuals argue that lending a hand directly to people in need is the best way. With the wave of corruption nowadays, donations sometimes are not able to reach the right place and the right people. For instance, in China, there are numerous organizations that raise money from the public in the name of extending a helping hand to those under the poverty line. But actually what they did was put this money into their own pocket, leaving the poor to die. For this reason, citizens should give a favor to those people in a straight way, instead of by agencies.
In conclusion, although some non-profit agencies can allocate money effectively and quickly, I still opine that people should help destitute people directly in case of corruption.

Man sagt, dass unsere Umgebung uns beinflust. Für mich ist es wirklich wahr. Ich muss immer mein Zimmer putzen, bevor ich lernen, sonst kann ich nicht konzentrieren. Jeder hat natürlich verschiedene Wohnsituation und manche kann nicht ein optimaler platz zum Lernen im Haus finden. Und in einem welt, wo wir verbringen uns etwa 70%-90% unsere Zeit in unsere Wohnung, wird es ein großes problem.

Wann war die letzte Zeit, die Sie ein Helm tragen, wenn Sie redfahren? Fühlen Sie sicher, wenn Sie ein Helm tragen? Sie sollen sein. Eine Forschung zeigt, dass Helme die Chance von Verletzungen bei 60% reduzieren. Aber ist es die am beste Weise, um Fahradverletzungen zu behandeln? Sollte es vorgeschreiben? Und gibt es andere alternativen von Helme?

An environmental crisis has recently have become a major concern to environmentalists around the world. Each came up with his/her own theories on the origination and the implications of it. Kempf, a French environmental journalist, author of the book, "How the Rich are Destroying the Earth" (2008), too, attempted to illuminate the source of this emergency. His reasoning is clear: oligarchy and consumption derived by the social structure caused this crisis, and are making the issue worse and worse. While he supports socialism and democracy, he is opposing capitalism, economic oligarchy, and overconsumption. I clearly agree with his position that oligarchy is what exacerbates the matter. Indeed, oligarchy and overconsumption engendered the current environmental disaster.
Oligarchy represents a form of government in which power effectively rests with a small elite segment of society distinguished by royalty, wealth, family ties, military might, or religious hegemony. This book defines oligarchy as the few number of wealthy elites. According to the book, the gap between the rich and the poor is widening and the moneyed are effectively creating a social ladder that the needy people cannot overcome. Meanwhile the overconsumption and material growth pursued by the rich and the attempts to emulate it by the lower-class are contaminating the earth. He includes a number of surprising statistics on how the gross income of the wealth far exceeds the income of the humble class. This is indeed true, according to the U.S. Census Bureau, “Income Earners by Quantile", retrieved in 2006, in which the top quantile occupies the 77.16 percent of income while the very bottom occupies a mere 2.67 percent. The leisure class at the head cuts itself off from the society by constructing a social ladder that is hard to climb.
Kempf uses Veblen’s theory to explain “ostentation and imitation,” the derive for emulation and consumption: the economy is dominated by the principle: “the propensity for emulation – for invidious comparison – is of ancient growth and is a pervading trait of human nature.” Although human nature contributes somewhat to consumption and the environmental degradation, it may not be the sole cause of the problem. He could have related this to the pressure that society exerts on the people, such as TV shows or advertisements.

I don’t think COVID-19 has changed my life. During the lockdown, it indeed caused some problems. For example: one family can only one person to go out to buy necessary life goods every two days. Most shops were closed, and all transportation stopped running. In short, the only thing you can do was stay at home to wait for the hard time to pass. But now in China, everything has come to normal. COVID-19 seems like a remote memory, though there are a few confirmed cases here and there, but it is already a big deal.

When I left the hospital to go to work this afternoon, I happened to meet some of my leaders. They were going to visit my colleagues at the hospital. (My colleague was hospitalized because he had cerebral hemorrhage. I wrote this in my former post). But they were not allowed to enter the patients’ building. You know why? Because some time ago, one of our locals had the COVID-19 (although this patient was already cured two weeks ago) our government was very nervous, and demanded each hospital to be ensured to manage the visiting personnel strictly. The hospital stipulated a rule that a patient can only have one escort, and an escort certificate was issued. No one can enter the ward without an escort certificate. They had to leave the gift and left the hospital. I took care of these gifts and informed my colleagues’ families to pick them up.

relationship
A relationship, in my opinion, is a definition of a communication connection between one person and another. For me, friendship is the most indispensable relationship from primary school to university. When we were in primary school, we played games with our friends, when we were in middle school, we helped each other with homework problems, and when we were in college, we took part in club activities with our friends. All this is brought by friendship.
Friendship is the foundation of all good relationships. It is a beautiful word. It contains gentleness, understanding, approval, tolerance, mutual warmth... These are all connotations that I would like to give. I've always felt like I had a problem. It's easy to start a new relationship, but it doesn't seem to last. Sometimes think anyway are quite familiar, too lazy to do the icing on the cake thing feel too deliberate too artificial. It turns out that relationships are like gardening. How Jellyfish is eaten in China
I do think most people reading this title will say “Not Again!”
Chinese people can eat anything!
I am not try to convince you to eat jellyfish.
But after I watch the video, I would say is 100% safe to eat jellyfish.
Depends on how you cook it.
I think it can become a popular food.
Looking back last year, KFC use vegetable to make chicken meat.
Hamburger meat is made from beat or even insect.
So eating a jellyfish shouldn’t be that scare?
just go to your local supermarket maybe you can buy it already.

Unlike other theme park will have big roller coaster.
This place give you the British “smell”.
I hope they offer foods like “fish & chips”.
For pachinko fans I hope they got “amusement”.
When I live in UK (90’s) I like to go “Amusement” shop.

Strange Sound
Today, I heard a strange sound during class. It was like the sound of thunder, or a cat purring. However, it was sunny and there was no cat. After a while, I found a dozing student at the back of the classroom. The sound was his snore! I guess he couldn't solve a mini-quiz at the end of the lecture.
