I changed my English learning strategy (need advice!
My English level is at about C1 level. I took the TOEFL test and got 95 points one year ago. However, after one year of practice on the TOEFL test and tried 4 times, I have no improvement in my score. I realize that I need to change my learning strategy and here is my plan.
First, I need a large English input. Based on Krashen's input theory, large Input is necessary for language learning to take place. So I plan to read books in a variety of fields every day.
Second, I will have more actual English conversations with native speakers. I have been live abroad for half a year, talking to native speakers every day. After that, my English speaking has a lot of improvement. I was convinced that conversation could really help in language learning. So, my plan is to find a tutor on italki. But I doubt the effectiveness of one or two hours a week of tutoring. It seems like 1/hr per week is not enough for having noticeable growth.
Any suggestion or experience would be appreciated. I really want to improve my English and thanks for your advice and correction.

"little big italy"
Nelle ultime settimane ho guardato un po di televisione italiana. Sul canale "nove" c'è uno show di cucina che si chiama "little big italy" ed è in onda quasi tutte le sere alla stessa ora. Il concetto dello show è che il presentatore Francesco Panella viaggia in diverse città del mondo per trovare il miglior ristorante italiano. I ristoranti sono proposti da emigranti italiani che vivono lì. In ogni puntata vengono presentati 3 ristoranti e ogni ristorante prepara 3 piatti: Un piatto scelto dalla persona che ha proposto il ristorante, il "piatto forte" del ristorante e un "piatto fuori menu" richiesto dal presentatore. Poi tutti, tranne la persona che ha suggerito il ristorante, votano i piatti su una scala da 1 a 5 gettoni. Solo Il presentatore può dare gettoni per la "italianità" del ristorante. Alla fine il ristorante con più gettoni vince.
C'è una cosa che spicca rispetto ad altri show. Il concetto di "italianità" e molto importante. Per poter vincere la competizione i ristoranti devono fare i piatti come vuole la tradizione italiana. Anche se i piatti sono ben preparati, il presentatore e gli altri ospiti danno meno gettoni se il piatto non segue rigorosamente la ricetta tradizionale. Inoltre, non solo i piatti sono inclusi nella valutazione. Si parla anche della decorazione o dello stile del menu (il menu deve essere in italiano anche all'estero per esempio). Qualsiasi mescolanza con la cultura locale, sia in termini di cibo che di decorazione, è vista piuttosto negativamente. Come italiano, dovresti sentirti a casa tua nei ristoranti partecipanti.

Journal 12/6/20
I finally returned home. Since one of my colleagues had cerebral hemorrhage last night, I didn’t sleep well. I helped him to get hospitalized and did a lot of tests until 1:30am today, but it was just 5am. The other colleague called me to discuss the following steps of this situation. Besides, during the night I didn’t dare to fall asleep in case some unexpected things happened. Today, the whole day I felt listless, and I couldn’t have lunch either. Anyway, all of the things were settled down-he was hospitalized safely. I can lay down now and I want to sleep early. Also, I hope I can get a good sleep.

Should Adult Children Live with Their Parents?
It is quite normal for adult children to live with their parents until they get married in China. However, this behaviour has triggered some discussions. People who applaud for this action contribute this outcome to the ridiculous housing price in recent years, to children’s purchase of a car and their irrational shopping on up-to-date electronic devices. Moreover, the essence of family is to support one another, so it is reasonable for parents to lift their children up when they still cannot stand on their own two feet.
But some objectors claim this can only indulge children and render them no pressure. What is the more sensible is to ask them save their own money during university, and then, after graduation, they entail to move out and live on their own. Only do that can their children be independent and confident.
And people who hold neutral opinion convey, children can live with their parents with paying the care and money.
As far as I’m concerned, living with parents is an selective option for children, and it is a beneficial thing, to an extent, to parents as well as children.
On the one hand, in view of the soaring rate on renting and purchasing housing, it is impossible for the graduate to move out instantly after they leave the university. Then setting a deadline is a great motivation and comfort to children. Because in that way provide children with much more time to enrich their career experience and their pocket.
On the other hand, in some families, especially those in Asia countries, parents are reluctant to ask their children to live by themselves even when they are financially independent. Not only because they are sort of coddling their children, but they enjoy the company. And that is acceptable, but what’s needed to pay attention to is the children should take care of their parents but not take advantage of them.
Nevertheless, if there is some serious handicap, living with parents could be a better choice for the child.
To sum up, whether the child choose to live with their parents or not is reasonable. However, they should always manage their own life successfully in the financial part. Because parents can help them for several times, but not for their whole life.

Ein besonderes Erlebnis in meinem Leben
Plötzlich hat mein ganzes Leben sich an einem grauvollen bewölkten Dienstag verändert. Als ich bei der Arbeit war, kam der Freund meiner Mutter zu mir aufreget und beunruhigt. "Was ist denn los?" fragte ich mich und auch ihn. "Es geht um deine Mutter. Sie ist gerade an Krebs gestorben. Es tut mir echt Leid, es dich zu sagen." Und so war's. Ein Paar Sätze haben alles im Moment und in der Zukunft komplett beeinflusst. Kaum kann ich heute sogar beschreiben, wie unglaublich diesem Moment für mich gefühlt.
Manche Leute bemitleiden mir daran. Was soll ich sagen? Könnte dieser Albtraum jederzeit von so vielen Menschen passieren. Leider wird der Tot ja uns alle betreffen. Die Frage, die ich stelle, ist nämlich, was machen wir dann? Wie würde dieses Erlebnis uns prägen? Könnten wir mit irgendwas positiv davon weitergehen?

Sushi
Sushi is one of the famous Japanese foods, but I don't often eat sushi. I think sushi uses raw fish so it's perishable so sushi sold in a supermarket is a little expensive. Conveyor-belt sushi restaurants are popular. These kinds of sushi restaurants are reasonable and good for families. It's fun for children to pick up sushi carried by conveyor-belt, and in some restaurants, they can play a mini-game every five plates. Premium sushi restaurants are extremely expensive for me, and I haven't gone yet.

散歩
毎晩3マイルの環の道に散歩する。4月ぐらいでマスクは面倒だったけど、今は慣れてる。さらにスカーフの代わりに、マスクはあったかい。私の住む町は小さいので、道の明かりが少ない。月光があればよく見えるけど、普通にすごく暗い。夜には車や人があまりいないからいいと思う。でもたくさん野生動物がいる。特にラクーン、コヨーテ、スカンク、猫がいる。ラクーンと猫は構わない。でもコヨーテの吠えるのは不気味で、スカンクのスプレーは臭くて、大変な迷惑だ。クマと鹿もいるけどもっと珍しい。クマは危険だから珍しさは助かる。この時期はかなり寒い。今晩は0摂氏温度だ。来週マイナス10摂氏温度の日があると思う。セーターがあるから、この温度は特に構わない。でもお父さん以外、寒さのせいで私の家族は散歩のために出たくない。

Meine Geschichte
Heute spreche ich über mein zeit üben Salsa Kasino , eine schön erfahrung in mein lebe. Das beginnen vor Sechs Jahren , ich war von 2014 bis 2018 mit der Tanzschule Todos Casineros. Zuerst am 2014 schickte SMS-nachricht eine Freund mir, die SMS sagte “Hallo Gabo, wie gehst es dir? willst du Salsa Kasino am Samstag üben?” ich antworte klar mein Freund , ich denke gut idee ist ebenfalls ich kann nicht tanzen . Immer fühlte ich sehr gut in die Tanzschule aber ich war nie der besten eigenlich bei der klasse war ich sehr schlecht, mit der zeit beste ich mein bewegung und ich konnte gut tanzen dann ich konnte zusammen Freunden,Freundin bis mit meiner Mutter tanzen.
Mein lieblingsteil ist einfach wenn ich kann sehr gut tanzen ebenfalls ich habe neu Freunden kennen.
In persönliche meinung, ich lernt eine lebe lektion, die lektion ist niemals aufgeben und beharrlichkeit. Ich erinnere immer das wenn ich will ein neu Ziel in mein leben. Das Deutsch ist mein neu zeil , ich brauchte zwei Jahren für Salsa lernen. wie lange brauche ich für Deutsch sprechen?

Yesterday afternoon, we were going to have dinner. One of my colleagues felt uncomfortable, but he couldn’t tell what the problem was. In order to ensure his safety, the other two colleagues took him to a nearby town hospital. A doctor first checked his blood pressure and found his highest pressure was 177. The doctor immediately gave him an infusion to lower his blood pressure. After the infusion, when the doctor saw him walking unsteadily, the doctor strongly recommended them to go to the County people’s hospital to do further check, especially do a head CT. We immediately went to the County hospital. During the CT process, even though it was not finished, the operator already told us that he has cerebral hemorrhage, but it is not serious, but he needs to be hospitalized immediately. We had him hospitalized at that time. When we finished all of this, it was already 1 o'clock the next morning. This is an unexpected thing during this training course.

Helado
Hoy estaba muy triste y mientras conducía hacía mi casa pasé el por huerto de naranjas. El huerto tiene una tienda y cuando era niña, solíamos ir allí a menudo para comprar helados de vainilla y naranja. Recordé esos días y decidí comprarme un helado.
Me senté en el patio mientras tomé el helado y después de poco me sentía un poco mejor.

Mon grand-père nous a visités
Aujourd'hui, mon grand-père est venu chez nous pour voir comment la renovation de la maison se déroule. Il était tout seul, ce que c'est un peu étrange parce que d'habitue il vient avec ma grand-mère et ma cousine. Bon, mes parents étaient sorties quand il est arrivé, donc j'ai dû le recevoir et lui montrer la maison. Ceci malgré le fait que j'étais en le cours de français qui mon université offert et que je prends les samedis. Mes parents sont arrivés après quelques minutes, mais j'ai dû retourner au cours. Donc, je n'ai pas pu parler avec mon grand-père autant que je voulais, mais c'était sympa de le voir quand même.

Моя любимая учительница в средней школе – учительница испанской литературы. Она была доброжелательной, справедливой и очень умной. Каждая задача в её классе мне казалась очень трудной, но я сейчас хорошо говорю на испанском и думаю, что работа того стоила. Кроме того, я получила огромное удовольствие от рассказов, которых мы читали. Я обожаю латинамериканскую литературу.
У меня также были отличные чители истории, религиоведения и английского языка. Я многому научилась у них. Мне особенно нравилось писать эссе о лутературе. У моего учителя физики было сухое чувство юмора. Хотя курс был сложным, мы много смеялись. В этом году я сразу же поняла, что мне не нравилась физика, но уже было слишком поздно, чтобы поменять расписание. К тому же, я упрямый человек. Когда я начниаю какую-нибудь задачу, я всегда её заканчиваю. Учитель помогал мне делать домашние задания и готовиться к контрольным работам. Из-за этого, я получила неплохые оценки.
Мне совсем не нравился учитель математики. Почерк у него был неразборчивым. Когда он проверял наши домашние задания, было невозможно понимать то, что он написал, поэтому мне было очень сложно учиться на ошибках. Он слишком громко и быстро говорил. В конце каждого класса, мне всегда болела голова. Мы изучали тип математики, который называется “calculus” на английском. Я не уверена, как перевести это на русском. Мне кажется, что у слова “исчисление” есть другой смысл. В любом случае, я едва понимала то, что он объяснял во время уроков и надо было пересматривать материалы каждый день после школы. Хвала небесам, были видео в интернете, где объяснили всё очень ясно. Без этого, я никогда бы не сдала выпускной экзамен!
В целом, я благодарна, что у меня был положительный опыт в школе. Я знаю, что у многих нет бозможности получить качественное образование. Мне очень повезло. Теперь я учусь в университете. Я всё ещё не выбрала специальность но я знаю, что после окочания, я продолжу карьеру, где я могу помогать другим.

Olvidarse
Anoche, cuando tenía problemas dormirme, intenté pensar en español (probablemente fuera parte del problema). Quiero soñar en español, y creo que solo lo puedo hacer si en el lo practico pensar. Sin embargo, durante este intento, me he dado cuenta de que me había olvidado la palabra "corresponsal" (lo recordaba más tarde). Sé que esto es uno de los problemas más grandes para los que aprenden un idioma nuevo. Puedes pasar a través de todos los métodos para recordar el vocabulario, pero a veces se pierde por un tiempo. Deseo, como muchos otros, que haya una manera de evitarlo, pero no creo que lo exista. Por culpa de nuestros nervios, cerebro o algo así, te sucede eventualmente (a menos que tengas una memoria fotográfica en el que no lo sé). Creo que es un desafío que lo podemos vencer a través de los métodos de recuperación correctos. Desafortunadamente, aún no los sé aunque quizá los encuentra en el futuro.

Boîte à Lire.
Monsieur le maire.
Je vous contacte pour vous proposer un projet qui a eu beaucoup de succès dans de nombreuses villes européennes.
Le projet s'appelle " Boîte à lire".
Il s'agit d'une petite bibliothèque publique ou les citoyens pourraient déposer et emprunter des livres gratuitement pour leur donner une seconde vie el aussi encourager nos jeunes à lire.
Les boîtes à lire sont des petites constructions faites de matériaux recyclés qui fourniraient non seulement une utilité mais aussi une beauté à la ville.
On pourrait être placés dans des lieux avec un afflux important de publique: près d'écoles, à l'entrée du métro, dans des jardins publics afin que tout le monde puisse s'en profiter.

Minimalismo
Quiero hablar de algo lo que he estado pensando mucho recientemente. Me acabo de dar cuenta que realmente no tengo tantas cosas materiales en mi vida y que estoy mucho más contento sin tenerlos. Estoy bastante seguro que eso se llama minimalismo, o quizás sería mejor decir que mucha gente lo llama así. De todas formas, lo que quiero decir es que creo firmemente que la gente no necesita tantas cosas como se muchas veces, tiene.
Hace algunos años, era una persona diferente. En muchas formas, por supuesto, pero una de los cosas que ha cambiando es que no quiero tener nada. Antes, tenía muchas cosas materiales y la verdad, no me molestó mucho en ese momento. Pero un día, fui de viaje. Fuí a Asia por primera vez y solo tuve una mochila conmigo, nada más. Estaba allí durante muchos meses - casi un año. Y la mochila fue todo lo que tenía conmigo todo el tiempo que estaba allí. Y no fue difícil vivir así. En realidad, me sentía mejor tener menos cosas alrededor. La cabeza se vuelva mucho más clara, no se preocupa tanto por las cosas de vida. Menos cosas, menos preocupaciones. Y desde entonces, he vivido así y estoy muy contento. Me he dado cuenta que las cosas materiales no se hace verdadamente feliz. Pero creo que tampoco es bueno si no se tiene nada. Como con muchas cosas en la vida, es bueno encontrar un medio.
Pero bueno, por supuesto no quiero decir a la gente como debería vivir sus vidas. Aunque debo decir que creo firmemente que ayudaría a mucha gente considerar eliminar algunas cosas materiales que no nececita de sus vidas. Es posible que hacerlo se pueda permitir vivir la vida con menos preocupaciones.
