Could you please tell me the difference between “things get lost” and “things lost”? In my opinion, “things lost” is enough. Things/subject, lost/predicate verb. But in the sentence “things get lost” things/subject, get/linking verb? Lost/adjective use as predicative? But leave those sentence structures alone. Why do people say this way “things GET lost” instead of "things lost”? Hope you can give me a lesson. Thank you very much.@🇨🇳 Sue

Corriendo en la lluvia
Hoy fui a correr por un camino que anteriormente era un ferrocarril. Este camino pasa de mi ciudad a la ciudad al sur y en muchas zonas está rodeada con árboles. Estaba lloviendo un poco cuando salí a correr, pero tenía tantas ganas de volver a la rutina que decidí seguir de todos modos. De hecho, me encantó la lluvia porque despertó el olor de las plantas y me refrescaba mientras corría. Al final, fue una experiencia muy agradable.

Why Do You Learn?
People learn a lot of subjects in school, and there is a question; Why do you learn? Some people say because learning is interesting, and others say because it's required to graduate. La comida
Aunque cada cultura tiene su propia manera de recibir huéspedes, parece que se incluye comida en todas. De hecho, cuando lo piensas, usamos la comida para mucho más que comer. Desde las celebraciones hasta los funerales, la usamos siempre que nos reunimos. Incluso cuando solo pasaste para decir "hola!", es común que te ofrezca un bocado. ¿Cómo ganó tanta importancia en nuestras vidas?
Puede que este costumbres se empezara porque la comida es tan importante para nuestra salud. Sin comida, morimos, y la sensación de la hambruna es muy dolorosa. Quizá la compasión causaban los anfitriones darles comida a los huéspedes. Sin embargo, opino que es más probable que fuera muy incómodo no hacerlo. Piénsatelo, ¿no es incómodo cuando tienes que comer con alguien que no tiene comida? Tienes ganas de darle un poco ¿verdad? Creo que era estos sentimientos que empezaron a esas tradiciones.
A pesar de que nunca lo sabemos la razón de verdad, aún la podemos disfrutar. ¡Hay tal variedad es posible que puedas comer tres platos diferentes cada día por cien años y nunca acercarte al final! Aunque cada persona tiene su propio gusto, todos podemos acordar que la comida es una lo social.

Nakadia is set to publish her autobiography.
The Thai-German DJ Nakadia took to Instagram yesterday to announce that she had finished writing her autobiography. She added that she will personally deliver 500 copies of limited editions that contain her autograph, starting this Wednesday.

But what I observe so far is even breakfast and lunch also have many people issue take away orders.
This morning when I have breakfast in a fast food chain store.
I saw at least 3 of the staff carry two full bags of breakfast!
The person who delivery foods are commission by those restaurants.
I saw few YouTube videos explain the income of this job.

Voyage à Japon
Chère amie.
Je viens d'arriver d'un voyage incroyable, j'ai été deux semaines au Japon, c'est un pays très différent de ceux que je connaissais, le paysage est merveilleux.
Quand je suis visité le mont Fuji, je me suis souvenue de toi, tu l'aimerais, je suis sûre.
Pour moi cela a été une expérience inoubliable, je ne peux pas expliquer en mots ce que j'ai senti devant lui, bon, je me suis sentie très petite et très heureuse.
J'ai aussi beaucoup aimé leurs pagodas, rouges et verts, si grands et élégants.
Mais surtout, il a attiré mon attention les gens; les japonais sont extrêmement polis, leur traitement est exquis, ils s'inclinent por dire bonjour et au revoir, à la fin, je me suis inclinée aussi.
Par contre je n'ai pas beaucoup aimé la nourriture, trop de poisson cru.
Je n'aime pas beaucoup le poisson et moins cru.
J'aimerai revenir mais le Japon est un pays trop chère el le voyage très long.
J'espère te voir bientôt, j'ai beaucoup de chose à te raconter.

L'ambiguïté réconfortante des voyages en autostop
Il y a quelque chose de séduisant à faire des voyages en autostop, un certain air romantique, un sentiment de liberté. Mais ça ne c'est pas la raison pour laquelle je la faisais, plus simplement en tant qu'étudiant je n'avais pas beaucoup de thune, mais j'avais voulu voyager quand même. Je me souviens encore de la première fois que je me suis mis à côté de la route avec seulement une pancarte qui portait le nom de ma destination et un sourire sur mon visage. Le meilleur aspect de cela c'est que ça marchait!
Pas toujours, mais assez souvent pour ne pas me décourager - également aussi pour me faire croire qu'il aurait été possible de parcourir mille kilomètres en un jour. Bien sûr, ça ne s'était jamais passé, mais même les nuits passées en dormant aux stations-service ou un péage ne m'avaient empêché d'essayer plusieurs fois - car j'étais jeune, et je m'en foutais. Faire une connerie qui n'avait blessé personne n'est pas vraiment une sottise, par contre, ça devient un bon souvenir, une anecdote rigolo pour raconter et se rappeler des jours meilleurs.
Faire de l'autostop on permet aussi de retrouver la foi en l'humanité. Étant donné que se déplacer de cette façon requiert que les autres nous aident désintéressement, le fait que ça était possible doit signifier que les gens sont en leur ensemble des bons. En outre, ça nous rend plus fortes - sauf si on se trouve en France, ou je n'attendait jamais plus que cinq minutes pour quelqu'un de me donner une balade - il pourrait être heures avant qu'on se bougierait. Ça renforce le caractère, a mon avis, car il faut se maintenir debout et rester optimiste qu'on y arrivera, et face à plusieurs voitures qui dépasseraient a nous, il peut-être serait facile de perdre son espoir.
Cette tolérance pour l'ambiguïté, c'est une habileté essentielle pour le monde incertain d'aujourd'hui.

Angélique Kidjo
Von einer Geschichte wurde ich zu einer anderen geführt. Gestern habe ich über ein urheberrechtliches Problem mit dem "Contra" Album geschrieben und wie es mich an das letzte Lied im Album "I Think Ur A Contra" erinnerte. Als ich ein bisschen auf Youtube suchte, fand ich eine Version, in der Ezra Koenig mit einer Frau namens Angélique Kidjo singt, von der ich keine Ahnung hatte, wer sie war. Da ich ihre Stimme im Cover mochte, beschloss ich, ein bisschen über sie zu recherchieren. Es stellt sich heraus, dass sie mehr als zehn Alben veröffentlicht und sogar einen Grammy gewonnen hat. Sie war auch Schauspielerin und engagiert sich sehr für Aktivismus in der Welt. Was für eine talentierte Frau! Und was für eine schöne Stimme!

Audjourd'hui, j'ai étudié le français pour le prémier temps depuis deux semaines. Je ne practiquer pas dans quelque temps, donc maintenant mes compétences sont très mauvais. Quand j'ai fait les exercices de grammaire, j'ai sens que les questions étaient trop difficiles. Mais il y a une expression qui dit, mieux vaut maintenant que jamais. J'ai établi un emploi de temps pour etre productive, et je le suivrai.

Diary: Bystanders
Bystanders are diverse and emotionally rich. They may be outraged, or they may be surrounded even come up gesticulate, because they put themselves in other's shoes. Japanese-Language Learners in China
Going by what the newspaper said, Japanese-language learners have been increasing in China. It's just because learning Japanese is a easiest way to pass the university entrance exam. Indeed, the average score of Japanese-language participants is twenty five points higher than that of English-language participants even though full score of a subject is one hundred and fifty points.
Chinese students are used to be exposed to Japanese culture through anime and manga from their childhood so Japanese isn't relatively unknown language, unlike Dutch, French, and Spanish. Moreover, Japanese has Chinese characters "kanji" and simple pronunciation system. Since kanji was transferred from China and have been preserved for more than one thousand years, some of them have same meanings as genuine Chinese characters. Even though kanji have several ways to read and totally different pronunciation, students can easily figure out the meanings from texts.
If I were one of Chinese students, I would also choose Japanese as a second language. No matter how English is meaningful language to read scientific article or get hired at high standard business, I would be upset to compete with enormous amount of students in China. And, I also yearn for multilingual. Being good at only English is no longer outstanding feature in business.
I hope that Japanese language becomes more popular among Chinese students and then we can talk about cultural differences without English someday. If I would be satisfied with my English skills or tired of learning English, I want to struggle with learning Chinese.
