Når USA blev uafhanging, landet brugede Konfederationsartiklerne. Der var en lille føderale regering. Men stater ville ikke at betale skat. Man kunne ikke lide centralisering, men regeringen havde mange problemer med penge. I 1789, logiverne debatterede og accepterede USAs ny føderal-konstitution.

A Letter
Personally, I think China's climate is better than Canada's in terms of the weather alone. Whenever I hear the temperature of minus thirty or forty degrees, I can't imagine how to spend it.
As I said before, at least for me, the new year is more like an ordinary day, and I also hope it's an ordinary day. I don't want it to bring me undue burden.

Una carta
Hace unas semanas mi mejor amiga del colegio me mandó una carta. Su carta me sorprendió porque no habíamos hablado durante años y me sorprendió más aún que dijo que pensaba mucho en mi.
No sabía cómo responder así que le llamé para no perder demasiado tiempo en devolver la carta. Hablamos durante una hora discutiendo nuestros trabajos y otras cosas nuevas. Cuando nos despedimos, le dije que iba a mandarle una carta de todas formas porque quería mantenerme en contacto con ella. Esta noche intenté escribir la carta pero no tengo ni idea de que escribir porque ya le he contado casi todo por teléfono. ¿Alguien tiene alguna idea sobre que hablar con una vieja amiga?

Macht uns die Technologie einsamer?
Die Technologie hätte uns enger verbinden sollen. Nie zuvor war es einfacher, mit Familienmitgliedern und Freunde in Kontakt zu bleiben. Auch wenn wir tausende Kilometer entfernt leben, wissen wir alles über die kleine Einzelheiten von den Leben des anderen. Aber oft fühlt es, als ob wir einsamer sind, wegen des Internets.
Früher hätte ich gesagt, dass das Internet verschlimmt die Einsamkeit. Ich hasse es, wenn ich mit Freunden oder Kollegen bin, und wir alle nur auf unseren Handys gucken und fast nicht reden. Ich hasse es, dass ich so viel Zeit vor einem Bildschirm bringe, ohne draußen zu gehen und ein echtes Leben zu machen. In der Vergangenheit habe ich versucht, Regeln einzusetzen, die meine Handynutzung beschränken hätte sollen. Natürlich habe ich die meisten davon gebrochen. Aber ich nutze Facebook immer noch nie, und ich habe gar keinen Instagram oder Twitter Konto.
Ja, in der Vergangenheit, glaubte ich, dass die Technologie, beziehungsweise Social Media, unsere Leben schädet. Aber jetzt denke ich anders. Ohne das Internet wäre das Leben während der Pandemie unerträglich. Ohne die möglichkeit, von Zuhause aus zu arbeiten, wäre unmöglich, die Wirtschaft zu erhalten ohne dass viel mehr Leute sterben würden. Wir könnten nicht mit unseren Familien reden, nicht mit Freunden im Netz treffen, oder mit Kollegen über die Arbeit diskutieren. Wir wären wirklich alleine. Und auf einem persönlichen Niveau wäre es unmöglich, meine Beziehung mit meinem Freund, zu erhalten, ohne dass wir im Internet kommunizieren könnten. Er lebt mehr als 1000 km weit entfernt, aber mit Whatsapp können wir täglich sprechen ohne Probleme.
Natürlich hoffe ich, dass wir lernen, besser mit der Technologie zu leben. Irgendwann wird die Pandemie zum Schluß kommen, und wir können Zoom hoffentlich nie wieder sehen. Aber viellech wäre es gut, wenn wir ein Paar von unseren neuen Pandemiegewohnheiten halten. Natürlich sollen wir nicht mehr 16 Stunden vor dem Bildschirm sitzen, aber es könnte nicht schaden wenn, zum Beispiel, wir immer noch Skype calls zu Oma machen, und wochentlich mit unseren Freunden, die weit weg leben, über Messenger anrufen. Vielleicht haben wir eine Pandemie gebraucht, um zu erinnern, dass wir können entscheiden, ob das Internet uns verbindet oder trennt.

Katie Se7en has explained the implicit meaning of her latest track, “Krinne Circle.”
The Japanese DJ took to Instagram early this morning to explain her motives behind producing “Krinne Circle,'' referring to the ongoing pandemic. “Krinne Circle” was released via Mixmag Asia on Feb. 3.
“This song came about as a response to the current global situation,” Katie Se7en said in the post. “What can I do as an artist? I thought of a song of cleansing, and found the sound of Krin log drum (Ghana’s traditional instrument).”
She concluded by saying, “I bet people beat logs since beginning of our time for all kinds of rituals and ceremonies. In my imagination, we sat around a fire in a cleansing ritual and beat the drum in frenzy groove to drive out bad things in air!”

La ética (Parte 1)
Opino que la ética es muy curiosa. Aunque ahora parece que las éticas de culturas distintas son semejantes, no era siempre como esto. Incluso en la misma cultura pueden ser diferentes éticas. Un buen ejemplo es las éticas distintas de Athens y Sparta. A pesar de que compartieron la religión, tenían diferentes morales. En Sparta, podías mentir y robar siempre y cuando no te agarraban. Sin embargo, esto no era legal en Athens.
Supongo que puede que las reglas la afecten. Las leyes de Sparta eran muy diferentes de las de Athens. Si no, pudo haber sido muy similares.

Lieblings Hotel
Ich möchte ein Baumhaus Hotel besuchen. Diese Hotel ist in Slovenia and hat ein großes Baumhaus in dem Wald für Gaste. Es gibt Jacuzzi and ein Fluss nah für schwimen.
Ubernachten hier ist Luxe camping. Man kann mit Nature bleiben aber mit modernem Komfort.

We all make mistake
I am a constant change job person.
The longest job I have been working was around 5 years.
Most other jobs that I’ve worked will be less than a year.
I didn’t like that but that was the fact.
One of reason will be my low competence, I am just good enough.
One other main reason was the big mistake I created.
So, in two jobs I make the same mistake and cause the boss fired me.
The boss tries to blame me with a loud voice.
I argue back and won the flight.
The result was I fired at new year eve and Chinese New Year eve.

Le meilleur bouc emissaire: les jeux video
Il est incontestable que les jeux vidéo se sont bien intégrés dans la société d'aujourd'hui. Selon les données proportionnées en 2020 par l'association américaine ESA, 64% des adultes aux États-Unis jouent aux jeux vidéo avec régularité. Bien sûr, grâce à certains événements mondiaux ce chiffre a augmenté un peu récemment - mais elle irait quand même augmenté. Par conséquent, on peut dire qu'ils forment une partie de l'héritage commun culturelle d'humanité, même si la plupart de la population, moi inclus, ne les considéraient encore de la «haute culture».
Néanmoins, chaque fois qu'un jeune comet le crime odieux de meurtre, le média traditionelle bonde instantement pour inculper les jeux video violentes comment si s'était elles qui ont assassine le victime. Comment la musique rap ou heavy metal preálablement, elles deviennent le bouc émissaire, que porte la responsabilité pour avoir encouragé les jeunes à tuer n'importe qui. Cependant, il me paraît que les journalistes incitent simplement l'outrage pour faire monter les chiffres d'audience, et la vérité, elle est un peu plus compliquée, n'est-ce pas toujours le cas?
Selon certaines études, lesquelles n'étaient pas épuisantes, le fait de jouer aux jeux vidéo violents n'est pas un facteur majeur qui contribuerait à la probabilité de devenir un tueur. Ça qui a un impact, c'est pas la depiction irréel de la violence dans les jeux, mais plus les expériences réelles de la violence dans la vie - a la maison, par exemple.
Toutefois, il serait inadmissible pour le média d'essayer de suggérer que les parents eux-mêmes seraient responsables. Il est plus facile d'inculper les jeux, car ils ne sont pas capables de se défendre.

Diary: Local Gods
Today I listened to a podcast about local gods in my city. I was surprised to find that there are two temples less than 1 km away from my home. Even though I have lived here more than 20 years, I have never heard of them before. One temple worships a god of music, and the other worships a tree. The locals are full of awe of nature. As long as there is an old tree, people will worship it. If the tree is very old, people believe that there is a soul in that place, and a temple will be built there, hoping to be blessed.

Una respuesta final al asunto muy serio: ¿té o café?
Por supuesto, no voy a estudiar las implicaciones geopolíticas y sociales del consumo de estas dos bebidas, ni a proponer un análisis comparativo porque algunos documentales ya lo hicieron mucho mejor que lo podría yo, pero si que intentaré identificar algunos elementos diferentes entre ambas, y sí que demostraré porqué el té es de lejos superior.
Primero, beber té no nos da una bofetada tan violenta como beber café - por su sabor más sutil, y porque teína tiene menos efecto que cafeína. Eso podría parecer un desventaja, pero a largo plazo, nos obliga a solucionar los problemas reales que justifican nuestro cansancio no contar con el café como con una solución milagrosa. A título personal, tengo mucho más energía que cuando bebía café, porque la cafeína que no consumo no me da insomnio, pero también porque empecé a acostarme más temprano.
Segundo, es mucho más económico beber té. No tienes que comprar una máquina hipercompleja que muele los granos de café, que mide la temperatura del agua en kelvin y la transmite a une satélite para recibir la autorización de proseguir, y que tendrás que reemplazar en dos o tres años porque porque ni siquiera un ingeniero de Airbus está acostumbrado a trabajar con una máquina tan increíble. Si quieres beber té, sólo tienes que comprar un hervidor, cuya sola función es calentar el agua mediante una resistencia térmica. Es una máquina tan sencilla que le sobrevivirá.
