As far as I know, every city in China has non-motor vehicle lanes. There are many shared e-bicycles on our streets. When people need to ride, just scan the QR code on the bicycle with your mobile phone, then you can ride it around the city. Riding fees are so cheap, its starting price is only 1 or 2 RMB. It's very convenient to go anywhere in the city and you don't need to take a bus or a taxi. Sometime ago, there were many shared pedal bicycles on the street, but now, somehow they have disappeared. I really miss them because they are environmentally friendly and can keep our bodies healthy.

As a child who grew up in the countryside, I don't have a good impression of. My childhood was in the 1970s, when the Caucasian countryside was very poor. We didn't even have enough food.
But I think my childhood was still happy, and we could all play carefree before going to elementary school at the age of eight. In the summer, we would catch cicadas under the trees, and camp on the threshing ground. In the autumn, we would go to the fields to watch adults catch hares. In the spring, we would dig wild vegetables in fields. In the winter, we would make snowmen and have snowball fights.
Recently, the epidemic situation in China had been on the rise again, and the most serious of which was Yangzhou. The number of infections there has been as high as over 500. But our city hasn't had a single case of infection so far, so it's really safe now. Moreover, we have almost achieved full vaccination. So our lives are almost the same as usual now.
This epidemic has brought huge economic losses to people all over the world, and we still don't know when it will end. Maybe it will coexist with human beings for a long time like the cold, and we should be prepared for it.
Now, we celebrate the mid-autumn festival, and the main tradition is buying some gifts for the elders. Of course, the mooncake is necessary, and then the families eat dinner together. That is basically the case, at least in my opinion. For some young people, maybe, they will take advantage of the holiday and go out haveing some fun.
This afternoon when I got off work, I saw many fallen yellow flowers on the streets, and they were very beautiful. I looked up and found that rows of locust trees were blooming with little yellow flowers. So I recorded a short video for you to enjoy.

What type of reading do you enjoy most?

I usually don’t spend much time reading books, however, I enjoy reading about topics related to technology. I like it because of three reasons.

My first reason is that my major is engineering, specifically mechanical engineering. I spent five years preparing to become an engineer plus my internship. It was a wonderful experience, which I had to read a lot, to be more specific books about engineering such as heat transfer, fluid mechanics, dynamics, statics, and physics, so on. Although I am not a reading book lover, I extremely enjoyed reading those books because I could understand how physics or other science works in the real world, and any action in our nature has an explanation.

Secondly, I like learning new things. So studying mechanical engineering was a good way not only to discover and understand any complex process about machines but also to comprehend the science. In this major, students need to look for many information, specially in journals, where have to read a lot of papers. This new world was totally new for me, and when I started reading papers, I was impressed about the formidable information that I found out. Indeed, I continue reading papers until these days.

Finally, I love reading technology because I like it. I always read about new discovers in science, prototypes or products made by big companies, which gives me a special interest. For instance, this big company, Tesla, released a robot with the same technology in their electric cars. And right now, the owner is working on a new prototype that is a human-robot. These kinds of news make me to think about our future. It is true that technology is growing up very fast, yet we should be worried about the impact in our societies. So this conclusion or thought was carried out by reading technology.

To sum up, technology is my best type of reading because it gives me much information, knowledge, and possible events in future.

Včera a dnes

thanks for showing my mistakes

Would you prefer to take courses taught by instructors with you have already had other classes or would choose to take courses with teachers you have never taken before?
Increase their knowledge is essential to achieve goals. Attending school is the best way to do it. Professors have a great responsibility with each of their scholars. Selecting the best educator for each person is an important decision. Some people preferred to choose classes with usual teachers. Others like to attend classes with different instructors. From my perspective, I disagree with the statement. I think it is more significant to pick classes with other teachers rather than with known ones because bodies can adapt to modern styles and motivate to develop their knowledge.
First, taking subjects with other educators can be challenging. It takes time to learn and readjust to their rules and teaching style. Each faculty member is unique, so having an open mind personality helps students. For instance, when I was in my first high school year, most of my tutors were unfamiliar. My friend told me, my chemist instructor was a very demanding professor. I was scared about that class. Moreover, I decided to concentrate on all the rules and each part of the projects and assignments. Consequently, this helps me adjust well and follow the requirements. I learned that even with a strange teacher, I can learn a new technique. Therefore, I suggest taking classes with other professors can help to adjust to different situations in life.
Second, attending a group with a different instructor motivates individuals to make their best. Students want to leave a good impression on the tutor. Usually, this can strengthen the incentive in most of the undergraduates. For example, when my sister was at college, she likes to give their best to keep her scholarship. When she takes a subject with a strange instructor, she introduces her to the educator to show an interest in the subject. When she doesn’t follow something, she always requests the lecturer a second explanation. All these actions support and gain her incentive to develop their knowledge. As a result, teachers value her effort and recognized it. Thus, I advise that keeping a constant effort can motivate people to gain knowledge.
In essence, I strongly disagree that it is better to choose groups with familiarized tutors rather than subjects with different instructors. This is because of two reasons: one, scholars can learn to readjust to new teaching styles and other is that mantain motivation can enhance their education.

Cibo: fattore culturale e sociale (tradotto dallo spagnolo)

Greeks and Buddhism

Is Buddhism still a major religion in Japan? There are many statues of Buddha in Japan. It is quite interesting that the image of Buddha everyone recognizes is of Greek origin. It's known that the Greek settlers that came with Alexander the Great built the Bactriam Empire in what is today Afghanistan. Many of them converted to Buddhism and blended their culture with their new religion. So they madee the first human representation of Buddha using the likeness of the Greek god Apollo as model. That could mean that Greeks have indirect influence over Japan as this country would embrace buddhism years later.
I guess it'd be far-fetched to conclude that the Buddha statues in Japan are , in a way, depictions of the Greek god Apollo.

Promise is Nothing

Although it is the seventh day of this term, I've found out four boys students in my class smoking. Three of them were smelled out by me, while the other was pointed by his calssmate. One of them named Bai were caught by me twice. I asked him to write a note to garantee that he would never do it again, otherwise he would go home for a week. But his roommate told me that he smoked a lot in their dormitory. I smelled the cigarette odour from him in the evening class. I aksed him whether he smoked, he said no. I didn't believe him, he told me the reason why he smelled like that was he had gone to the public toilet in school where many boys smoking there. I didn't believe a word and was so disappointed at him, so I just ignored him.
His promise is nothing.

09/09/2021 Un e-mail a Pedro

Hola, Pedro:

Que tal? Espero que estés bien. Gracias por contactarme.

Mi casa actual es muy pequeña. Está en las afueras de Bilbao. Está situada cerca de la autopista.

Soy carpintero y tengo muchas herramientas. Ahora no tengo bastante espacio.

Bob
