A swimmer try to go from Calvi to Monaco.
Here is a challenge for a good cause that could have been a disaster. Noam Yaron challenged himself to swim to Calvi until Monaco to make people and politics aware of the necessary preservation of the Mediterranean Sea and the protection of the biodiversity. He failed close to the end, at only two kilometers off the coast at Friday. This one who already tried this crazy challenge last year but had stopped at 100 kilometers, was almost successful but, after 5 days and 4 nights of non-stop swimming (he took some short naps lying down), his body and his head said « that’s enough ».
The fourth night has been complicated for Noam because of tiring, hallucinations, cold and burn, and cause of the impact of the salt on the body. The fifth day, Noam started to subit the consequences of the lack of sleep and was least and least concentrate.
He lose the sense of the reality, didn’t understand anymore that he should swim.

La soddisfazione non significa la felicità (parte 1)
"Non hai un ragazzo? Non hai voglia di sposarti? Non vuoi avere dei tuoi figli?"
Non mi ricordo bene quante volte alcune persone me li hanno chiesti.
Ma non riesco chiaramente a risponderli.
Perché queste generali felici cose non so se siano la mia felicità.
Al momento penso che questi eventi della vita siano soddisfacenti per me e non siano la mia felicità.
Se avessi un ragazzo, probabilmente sarei soddisfatta.
Se mi spossassi, probabilmente sarei soddisfatta.
Se avessi dei miei figli, probabilmente sarei soddisfatta.
Ma se io sarò felice, è un'altra cosa.

¿Cómo te describirías en tres palabras?
La primera palabra sería cariñosa. Me encanta dar abrazos y besos y cumplidos, y poner apodos bonitos a gente y a cosas. Darme cuenta que soy cariñosa fue algo inesperado dado que trataba de ser dura cuando era chiquita. Es decir, no me gustaba mostrar emociones “cursis” o que “dan vergüenza” como por llorar. Me alegra haber dejado esa máscara al lado.
Otra palabra que usaría sería sensible. Lloro con facilidad y he tenido que aprender que eso no es algo necesariamente malo. Significa que tengo que poner un poquito más esfuerzo para mantenerme bien, pero también se me hace más fácil notar los sentimientos de los demás y ayudarles.
La última palabra sería arregladora. No sé si se traduce bien esa palabra, pero quiero decir alguien que trata de arreglar situaciones y los problemas de los demás. Recuerdo que cuando tenía unos ocho años, trataba de ser terapeuta de relaciones para mi hermano y su novia, que entonces se peleaban todo el tiempo. A mí yo de pequeña me parecía tan fácil la respuesta a sus problemas y trataba de darles consejos para su relación. Sin embargo, ser reguladora toda mi vida sólo me ha costado energía. Estoy aprendiendo a dar un paso atrás y soltar el control. Puedo apoyar a las personas en mi vida y escuchar sus quejas, pero no debería hacerme responsable de salvarles de sus problemas.

Manhã ocupada
Eu acordei cedo hoje de manhã, no início estava ensolarado mas depois começou chovendo então eu tive que correr para pegar as roupas dentro. Eu comprei um café antes trabalho porque preciso o açúcar depois o caos. Todos tinham um manhã mal, minha colegas estava atrasada mesmo que ela correu para o ônibus dela. O ar condicionado estava mutio forte, eu reclamei para meu outro colega. Eu coloquei a jaqueta dele porque eu esqueci meu e senti frio. Espero que sim todos tieve um dia melhour demanhã.

Cara Laura,
Mi manchi tantissimo e spero che tu stia bene! Da quando mi sono trasferita a Parigi, non ci sentiamo da un bel po'.
Per fortuna restiamo ancora in contatto sui social. Ho pubblicato alcune foto su Facebook, ma immagino che tu non abbia avuto molto tempo per stare sui social ultimamente.
Devo proprio raccontarti tutto quello che ho fatto! Mi sono iscritta a un corso di ballo ed è piuttosto interessante. Ci vado tre volte alla settimana e mi diverto un sacco: è incredibile, era proprio ciò che mi mancava.
Purtroppo, l’ultima volta che ho ballato mi sono rotta la caviglia e adesso devo riposarmi un po'. In fondo, credo che una pausa mi farà bene.

PART 1 Are celebrities good role models for young people?
The role of finding the right example for young people is hard to overestimate. Nowadays, plenty of youngsters are inspired by famous Hollywood stars, all sorts of influencers and other celebrities and try to emulate them. While some argue that media widen the range of role models, others believe that it can create an array of self-esteem and mental health problems. This essay will examine both positive and negative sides of this trend before asserting that it is rather a detrimental one.
On the one hand, having the whole internet on hand to find an appropriate role model can help tremendously. Moreover, not everyone was lucky enough to born in a decent family. For example, when a parent is dependent on drugs, it would be much better to take an example from someone advocating for healthy lifestyle and self-improvement. From this standpoint, being exposed to an enormous number of potential role models as someone who struggles to find a right example among family members can be more than valuable.

Today get up at 6:20 am, I did a lit bit lazy but I get up bed at 6:30 am them I made the bed, I made the lunch, I prepared fried eggs with cheese and a americano, after a made a hot bath at 7:00 am I dressed with a formal outfit, them I put make up and I went out take a transmilenio.
In transmilenio was quickly, I arrive to office at 9:00 am and I checked my schedule and my mail, at 10:00 am I ate a delicius pinaple and that's it.

Há uma foto de mim que era quando eu fazia parte da equipe de luta romana no ensino médio. Era uma luta durante um torneio com muitas outras escolas. Na foto eu estava perdendo e meu oponente estava olhando diretamente para à câmara. Era uma boa foto para ele. A foto era no jornal num artigo sobre nossa equipe perdia o torneio. Era um mau dia por mim e quando olho à foto, siempre tenho lembranças sobre perdendo.

Sell Baby Chickens on Credit
When I was a child, people in my village sold baby chickens on credit to make money, which was their only source of income.
In spring, they started hatching baby chickens. They bought eggs from farmers first, then checked the eggs to pick out unfertilized ones.
The doors of a hatch house had two small holes. When checking the eggs, they stayed inside the house, closed the doors, and placed the eggs against the holes to see inside them.
However, I was too young to understand the secret of identifying unfertilized eggs. I never asked them about it, though.
They placed the fertilized eggs in a bed and covered them with a blanket. Then they heated the house to maintain a temperature suitable for the eggs to hatch. After the eggs hatched and the chicks grew to a certain stage, they started selling the baby chickens.
They carried two baskets on either side of their bike’s rear seat. They placed the baby chickens in the baskets and rode to surrounding villages to sell them.
They sold the baby chickens on credit. They recorded information in their notebooks, such as the buyer’s name, village, and the number of chickens purchased.
In autumn, after people harvested their crops, they took their notebooks to the surrounding villages to collect money for the baby chickens sold on credit.
I don’t know how much money they earned each year; however, it was their only means of making money. Even if the earnings were modest, I think they were still vital for families in those tough living conditions. Unfortunately, some dishonest buyers wouldn’t pay or would only pay partially.

What do you do when you're on holiday?
I live in the south and I can visit the sea and the mountain. That's what I usually do, but this summer I'm in my lock-in era. I learn English for my dream, practise ballroom dancing and learn C/C++ with computer architecture. Sometimes I feel what I'm trying to do too many things at once. But I can't sit on the lounge and do nothing. Which do you prefer, lazy holidays or active learning?

Fight Club
Recently, I watched an interview Andrey Bezrukov (a former illegal intelligence agent). At the end of the interview he was asked a book or movie that left a strong impression. He said it was “The Defeat of the West” by Emmanuel Todd. I’ve downloaded an audio version of the book and finished it today.
(it seems that the book is available in French and Russian only, so I can’t recommend it to you)
Yesterday, I reviewed Fight Club – an underestimated movie from 1999. I wanted to write an entry about some analogies between the movie and the book. Something like “An Unheard Prophesy” or “Outpouring from 1999”…
There’s a few point really, but that is a silly idea, so I won’t.

Nachbarschaftsproblem
Ich habe ein Probleme mit meine Nachbarn. Sie sind sehr laut und machen gross Partys sehr oft. Ich kann nicht schlafen. Ich bin mude und ich habe ein schlecht Laune. Meine Mutter sagt, dass ich nicht mich beschweren muss. Das ist, weil die Nachbarin ist seine Freundin.
