Durante semanas he sentido atascado.

There was a highway to the west from our path. It cut through the woods and was heading further to the northwest to eventually break through the wall of trees and shrubs and bring that silent but constant hum of the cars that we had always heard from afar to farmlands, other towns, woods, and whatever it passed through and by, and to finally reconnect to the interstate highway - it's beginning and its final destiny. The closer we were to our spot, the further away the highway was, and its hum became more and more unclear.
While I was waiting for my friends, I noticed that on the other bank, the hum had already become indistinguishable from the sound of trees, which gently swayed in the wind. In that wind of dying summer, which foreshadows that wet and chilly season, I thought that walking was a better choice than sitting and getting cold with Clyde, but because I was alone and I had no speed baseline as Scott and Tobias, I must have walked faster than my trip companions that time as well. Then I ought to wait for them even longer.
I couldn't have stood staying put anymore and staring at that vast space between every piece of forest scenery though. Only looking upwards at the canopy let me assure myself that space had its edge, as I was able to see that cold and distant sky, which leaked through the treetops. But looking for any boundaries of forest space around me was more difficult. All those pieces overlapped with each other, making it impossible to tell if the woods even have their edge.
That observation drew me into thinking how lonely I was there. I'd heard dozens of stories about elks being run over. Dozens of times, Scott told me about some opossums that had lived rent-free under his porch. But deep in the woods, I didn't notice any fauna, except for one hooting owl I might have overheard. I intensely stared into the woods but the only thing I saw were hundreds of tree trunks and bushes which seemed to grow tighter and tighter the further they were from me, as if they were hiding some mysterious secret never seen by a human being or a void which shrinks more the closer you are to it.
At that time, I started to feel that I was not surrounded by any matter and that the sterile destiny I found myself in was left by time and life, that I walked into some liminal space between the world and hell, where I would be cursed to stay for eternity. But the matter eventually struck me. It took the form of a cold late summer wind, which gave me shivers and showed me that I was still stuck in the real world. But the thing which made me certain was that Clyde was shouting.
"Hey, there he is," he said. "Ya introverted or something, Thistle? Bro rather stand in the middle of nowhere than talk to us," he added. He was walking first, then there was Tobias, and a few yards further, there was Scott. "You are lucky I didn't start drinking without you, Clyde," I said. "Are ya tripping? Your ass would be so beaten up if you took a slip without us. What do you say about that, Tobi? Would he take an L? said Clyde. He made a quick turn back to Tobias, and without stopping for a second, he started to walk backwards. "Prolly, bro," said Tobias. "Definitely," Clyde corrected him.

"AAIIEE ", urla Calvin, allarmato.

A: It's cool and comfortable today.
How do you feel ?
B: Isn't it a bit cold?
A: Really?, Feels perfect to me.
B: If it were any colder, I wouldn't be able to get out of bed.
A: True. But I don't like hot weather. Do you prefer hot to cold?
B: Yes!
A: Omg. But there are definitely more people who like hot than people who like cold, right?
B: Yeah, I think so, but people I know, there are more people who say they like cold.
A: You have good friends.
B: Yeah, maybe, haha but you can't judge someone by whether they prefer hot or cold weather.
A: I can. Guys who like hot whether are bad. 'Cause cold areas have less crime. Maybe. Probably. Sigh... Wish I lived in a country that's cold all year round.
I am dreading the upcoming months and really want to run away.

B: Do you remember what you ate the morning before yesterday?
A: Chinjaoro-su
B: What's Chinjaoro-su?
A: Well.. How do I describe it...
Chinese-style stir-fry containing thinly sliced green peppers and meat.
B: In what ways in Chinese-style?
A: I guess the sauce is Chinese-style. lol
B: Oh, I wanna try it! What about for lunch?
A: I didn't eat lunch.
B: What about dinner then?
A: Yellowtail sashimi.
Have you ever eaten yellowtail sashimi?
B: No.
Is it good?
A: It's good!
B: Which is better, tuna or yellowtail?
A: Hmmm, I never thought about that. lol
I think I eat tuna more often.
There are many different kinds of tuna.
B: What do you mean?
A: When I want something light, I eat the akami (red meat), usually the chutoro (medium fatty tuna), and when I want something rich, I eat the otoro (fatty tuna).
B: I see. Is the yellowtail fatty?
A: Yeah, it's fatty. But to be honest, sashimi is the same if you put soy sauce on it. Soy sauce is the best. lol
B: No way lol. The fish will get mad at you.
A: You're right, I take it back. I'm sorry, fish. Well, have you ever had sashimi?
B: Yes, tuna and hamachi
A: Oh, you've also had hamachi !
Buri and hamachi are the same fish. In Japan, we call this kind of fish "shusse-uo".
B: "Shusse-uo"?
A: "Shusse" means promotion, and the name of the fish changes as it grows. Just like a person's position in a company changes as he or she grows.
B: I see.
A: Like dolphins and whales, right?
B: Isn't this different from that?
Dolphins and whales are name based on their size rather than their growth periods.
A: Oh, that's right! They are different!
B: Yeah.
Anyway, what did you eat yesterday?
A: Pasta with meat sauce for breakfast, croissants for lunch, and soba stew, fried potatoes, and "餃子" for dinner.
B: What's "餃子"?
A: Dumplings
B: Ah, Gyoza! It's also called potstickers, but maybe only in America. Also, what's soba stew?
A: Well... as a dish, it's kind of hard to explain. I make my soba stew by adding chicken bouillon powder, bonito flakes, and soy sauce to hot water. After that, I put soba in the there and that's it. It takes only five minutes in my case. The same is true for everything; some people make it easy like me, and of course, some people stick to cooking traditionally. The way the broth is made varies depending on the region and family though.
B: Yeah, I know.
Anyways, you traveled to many countries yesterday, huh? lol
A: Yeah, I went to Italy, France, China, and then back to Japan. lol
Anyways, why did you ask me what I ate?
B: Remembering what you ate is good training for your brain. It said so on TV.
A: Ah, so you exercised my brain for me? Thank you. lol
Then I'll exercise your brain too.
What did you eat the day before yesterday?

A: For breakfast on the 30th, I bought a premade butter chicken curry from a convenience store and dipped bread in it.
B: Sounds so delicious!
A: It was soooo good!
Even convenience store food can't be beaten with these days, right?
B: Exactly. What did you have for lunch?
A: I skipped lunch, and there is a seafood place about a 30-minute drive from my house, so for dinner I bought oysters there and ate them in a pot with tofu and shiitake.
B: Nice!
A: Can you eat oysters?
B: Sure! Many Americans eat oysters!
A: Wow, I didn't know that!
I thought that they don't like that kind of grotesque-looking stuff.
B: Not at all! Of course, there are some people who don't like them.
A: Yeah, it's true.
B: What did you eat for breakfast on the first?
A: I didn't eat breakfast. I had "somen" and pork buns for lunch.
B: What's "somen"?
A: "Somen" is a kind of Japanese noodle made from wheat flour.
B: How's it different from udon?
A: The thickness is different.
I think if the diameter is less than 1.3mm, it's called "somen". If it's between 1.3 and 1.7mm, it's called "hiyamugi", and if it is more than 1.7mm, it's called "udon".
B: What's the difference between ramen and udon noodles?
A: I think the water used is different. Udon is made with water, while ramen is made by mixing an alkaline solution called kansui with flour.
B: What about soba?
A: Soba is made from buckwheat flour, so I think it's a different thing.
I'm not sure if that's correct though, since I don't know much about it.
B: So there's a lot of different kinds of noodle in Japan.
A: Yeah. You get noodles that are kneaded into something, udon dishes with only a single long noodle in it, and so on.
B: Interesting.
I wanna go on a noodle tour, myself.
A: That's a good idea.
But you can't eat that much. lol
B: I will leave some of it lol.
A: That's not good. lol
That's unethical. lol
B: What did you have for dinner?
A: Meat and eggs stewed with soy sauce and vinegar, and komochi shishamo.
B: What is "komochi shishamo"?
A: I don't know how to say it in English.
"Spirinchus lanceolatus" with roe.?
B: Well, I don't know much about fish names. lol!
A: I think "with roe" is correct for "komochi", but I don't know how to say "shishamo"... "Willow leaf fish"? "Smelt"?
I don't know how to say it in English either. Anyway, "shishamo" is "shishamo". LOL!
B: "Shishamo". I'll keep that in mind. LOL.
How do you eat it?
A: Most people eat it grilled.
B: Do some people eat it as sashimi?
A: Yes, but I've never had it.
B: "Shishamo with roe" sounds like "oyakodon".
A: Why? Oh,I see! lol
Come to think of it, you are right.
B: Japanese people must really like to eat the whole family! lol
A: Yeah, that's right. lol
Alas... that's sad, but it's really delicious to eat family. 🤦
B: You must be a cruel race! lol
A: You don't like to eat family?
B: I don't know, I've never had it. lol
It's like love in excess. lol
Like you love the family so much that you eat them. lol
A: Sounds like something that would happen in a movie if they were human beings instead of fish.
B: Haha. Right. There might have been a movie like that. haha
B: Yes, for sho. We're talking about fish, though.
A: Well, either way, we should be grateful, whether we eat fish or humans.
B: Yes, that's true.
A: Can I bite your arm just once?
Sorry, just kidding.

A: I had McDonald's for lunch on the 20th.
B: What did you eat?
A: Double cheeseburger, nuggets and an aaple pie. That's the most popular item in Japan!
What is the most popular menu in the U.S.?
A: On the evening of the 20th, I had "Shouga-yaki, "Takikomi-gohan, and chicken soup with egg and chive.
B: What's "Shoga-yaki"?
A: It's a meal in which pork is fried in soy sauce with ginger. Ginger is "shouga". "Yaki" is "fried"
B: Oh, I see. Sounds delicious!
What about "takikomi gohan"?
A: Rice cooked with chicken, burdock, carrots, shiitake, and other stuff. In water seasoned with soy sauce. The ingredients used vary from household and region.
B: That sounds delicious too!
A: On the morning of the 21st, I had leftover rice from yesterday, skipped lunch, and had sashimi and fried chicken for dinner.
B: What kind of sashimi?
A: Tuna
B: O-toro?
A: No, Akami.
B: Which tastes better, otoro or akami?
A: Depends on the person
O-toro is tasty, but too much fat makes my stomach upset and makes me feel nauseous.lol
What kind of sashimi do you like?

A: On the 26th, I had a fried egg over rice for breakfast, skipped lunch, and had "suiton" for dinner.
B: What is "suiton"?
A: It is a stewed dish. First you make dumplings out of wheat flour, then you add vegetables, meat, and other ingredients to a soup made with miso and soy sauce.
B: Is it good?
A: It's delicious!
It's so easy to make, I'll make it for you some time!
B: That's a great idea!
I'll make something to bring with me then!
A: It'll be a party! Sounds like fun!
A: On the 27th, I had leftover "suiton" and sugar toast for breakfast, skipped lunch, and had mackerel for dinner at 6:00 pm, earlier than usual.
B: How did you make the sugar toast?
A: I just sprinkled sugar on the bread. lol

How did you eat the mackerel?
A: I grilled it.
It was fatty and delicious.

B: Indeed! Did you put any toppings on it?
A: Yes, just butter. I really like cream, but I forgot to buy it.
B: What about fruit?
A: None. It was a little expensive.
B: Well, but simple is good, right?
A: It's a little lackluster, though.
B: On the next occasion, huh. What about dinner?
A: Lemon-salt-sauce ribs bento and pork shabu-shabu salad at the convenience store.
B: Shabu shabu?
A: Thin slices of pork that has been boiled.

A: For breakfast on the 28th, I had yesterday's leftover turnips with a sauce made of vinegar and miso, and I also had a meat and Veggie stir fry and a burrito I bought at a convenience store.
B: What seasoning did you use for the stir fry?
A: Salt and pepper for the stir-fry.
B: That's perfect for the morning.
A: Yeah, simple is the best!
B: Good! What about lunch?

B: Oh, I love "shin ramen"!

B: For sho!

A: Yeah, I thank the person who invented them every day.
B: Yeah, definitely. What about on the 29th?
A: I skipped breakfast on the 29th, had dried shoyu ramen for lunch, and had miso soup, teriyaki pork, tofu and aojiru for dinner.
B: How was it?
A: Well, the teriyaki tasted a little strong, but everything else was good, it's not that the teriyaki was bad, but it made me thirstier than usual.

A: Exactly!
B: And at night?
A: Pre-packaged curry and canned mackerel into it.
B: You really like to put into it, right? Is it good?
A: Well, I wouldn't recommend it to others. But if I put mackerel in it, it's healtheir. Also easy to cook, and it doesn't taste bad, so I eat it. But it's not very tasty.
B: Isn't there something else that tastes better?

B: Oh, maybe twice-cooked pork. But never eat of it. Is it good?

If I could, I'd like to see the northern lights in Norway or Alaska or something. The problem is I'm very sensitive to snow and very low temperatures. It would be a sight to behold though. The aurora videos alone make them seem like magic so I can't imagine what it would be like to seem them in real life.

I want to speak English naturally, not like a textbook! 🙇♂️🙇♂️
I want to speak like a native speaker!! Seriously!!🙇♂️🙇♂️🙇♂️🔥🔥
Would you please help me by correcting anything that's wrong or sounds unnatural in these sentences?
You can change whatever you want!
It's alright if you change an entire sentence!!
I'd like to learn some common phrases and slang! 🙏
Also, I'd like to hear your advice on how to have conversations with English speakers.
I'm looking forward to your constructive criticism.✍️
B: What did you have for dinner?
A: I bought oysters and made an oyster stew for one.
B: Only oysters?
A: Just tofu, green onions and oysters!
B: How did it taste?
A: Simple, but delicious! It was finished off with Ojiya.
B: Ojiya?
A: Umm, like porridge? Or congee? You put rice in the leftover soup from the pot and eat it.
B: Like zousui?
A: Yeah, I use the word in the same sense.
B: And was it good?
A: It was good too.
B: Nice!
A: What did you eat?

B: What did you have for breakfast?
A: I had leftover miso soup from last night's dinner, so I ate it with rice.
B: What did you put in it?
A: Just potatoes!
B: Simple.
A: Yeah, but most Japanese households have only one ingredient in their miso soup.
B: Oh, I hear you.
A: What about lunch?
B: No lunch!
A: Again. You like to skip lunch.
A: Yes, I love to it.
B: What's for dinner?
A: Nuggets at McDonald's. They were on sale for 390 yen for 15 pieces. I also had red leaf lettuce and bacon with miso and vinegar sauce.
B: Nice! How much is a regular nugget in Japan?
A: 580 yen for 15 pieces.
B: Not too different.
A: Interesting. Are you a nuggets person or a french fries person?
