Positive Nachrichten und neue Chancen
Ich würde gern mehr positive Dinge aus meinem Leben schreiben, weil ich einige schöne Momente mit euch teilen möchte. Zum Beispiel habe ich nächsten Freitag ein Vorstellungsgespräch für eine Stelle im Bereich Data Science. Hoffentlich werde ich mit der Managerin über meine Erfahrungen als Datenanalystin und wissenschaftliche Mitarbeiterin an der Cornell-Universität sprechen. Nach meinem ersten Vorstellungsgespräch bei diesem Unternehmen, bin ich selbstbewusster geworden, besonders als ich über meinem Forschungspraktikum bespricht habe.
Übrigens ist das mein letzter Text in diesem Tagebuch. Ich werde ein Text auf Spanisch in einem anderen Tagebuch schreiben. Tschüss!

ベトナムの料理
ベトナムは料理が多様でおいしくて、世界中有名だと思う。ベトナムの料理の中でPho という料理が一番有名だ。私もフォーが大好き。でも、ベトナムの料理はフォーだけじゃなく、色々なおいしい食べ物があるんですよ。
北の地方に来たら、絶対にbun chaとbanh cuonを食べてみて。中央地方の料理は北よりちょっと辛い。Bun bo Hue とかbanh bot locとか有名だ。Hueという都市に行きたいんけど、まだ時間がない。南の地方といえば、banh xeoとcom tamが一番好き。
味を詳細に説明したいんけど、料理の味と材料と食感の単語がまだわからない。甘いとか辛いとかシンプルな味の言葉だけわかる。よろしければ、教えてください。ありがとうございます。

Initiation au fusain
Aujourd’hui, j’ai assisté à un cours d’art intitulé, << Initiation au fusain. >> Il est une séries de trois cours. Je n’ai jamais travaillé avec fusain et j’étais excitée. Nous avons travaillé sur proportions. C’est probablement l’aspect le plus important du dessin. La deuxième cours sera le 29 de août. Nous travaillerons sur l’ombrage. Dans la troisième classe, le 26 de septembre, nous travaillerons sur perspective. J’ai apprécié le cours d’aujourd’hui. Je vais pratiquer ce que j’ai appris.

Quarrel
Recently, I engaged in a heated argument with my husband over a minor matter. Our conversation unfolded as follows:
Husband: Did you organize my closet?
I: Yes, it was in such a disarray that I was unable to even enter it.
Husband: Did you discard any cardboard boxes?
I: Yes, I disposed of two boxes. One is empty, while the other is nearly empty. The contents (pet bottled tea) are arranged here.
Husband: Where did you place the Dyson cleaner?
I: Where are you looking? It is located directly in front of you.
Husband: This is unacceptable! My closet is beyond your reach. Please return to the original situations.
I: (Exasperated) This flat is my property, and you have never maintained a clean closet. Therefore, you lack the authority to criticize my cleaning efforts.
He became pissed off and left the room. The following day, he carelessly crashed his car into the pillar, making big dents on his car’s side body. He might have learned that getting angry over small things can lead to a big mistake.

Heute
Mein "Relativsätze bilden" noch nicht korrigiert ist, falls ihr braucht etwas zu korrigieren.
Am Morgen habe ich Crepes zum Frühstück gemacht. Mein Onkel und seinen Kindern sind auch gekommen und wir haben zusammen gefrühstückt. Ich habe Urlaub, ich bleibe also bei meiner Oma. Einige Verwandten in der Nähe wohnen, wie mein Onkel. Danach habe ich meiner Mutter angerufen. Ich habe auch angefangen, Russisch zu lernen. Ich weiß nicht, ob das eine schlechte Idee war, aber ich werde es versuchen, obwohl es wird schwierig sein.

Descripción de El jardín de las delicias: El jardín del Edén
La obra conocida como "El jardín de las delicias" es una pintura del artista holandés Hieronymus Bosch (El Bosco). Hasta hoy no había visto la obra completa, aunque sí conocía la parte que representa el infierno, que es bastante memorable, por decir lo menos. Al parecer, se trata de un tríptico, es decir, una obra dividida en tres paneles: "El jardín del Edén" (panel izquierdo), "El jardín de las delicias" (panel central) y "El infierno" (panel derecho). Las obras de El Bosco son casi indescriptibles, y "El jardín de las delicias" no es la excepción.
El primer panel, "El jardín del Edén", muestra tres figuras humanas. La del centro es un hombre barbudo que lleva una túnica rojiza y que, al parecer, representa a Dios. A su lado hay dos figuras desnudas: un hombre sentado en el suelo a su izquierda, mirándolo hacia arriba, y una mujer arrodillada a su derecha, mirando al suelo. La figura divina sujeta la muñeca de la mujer y mira directamente al espectador. Los tres se encuentran frente a un estanque rodeado de todo tipo de criaturas: algunas reales, como una foca, un leopardo y un conejo; y otras imaginarias, como una especie de ave de tres cabezas, una criatura parecida a una foca con alas y lo que parece ser un ornitorrinco leyendo un libro.
Al fondo, separada por una hilera de árboles, hay una laguna rodeada de animales más grandes, como un elefante (montado por un mono), una jirafa y un unicornio, entre otros. En medio del agua hay una estructura rosada muy extraña. Estructuras similares aparecen en los otros paneles, aunque con formas distintas. La de "El jardín del Edén" parece ser una especie de fuente. Por último, en la distancia se ven colinas, el cielo y otras formaciones naturales, una de las cuales llama la atención porque hay centenares de pájaros volando dentro, fuera y alrededor de ella.

Oggi è stato un torneo di tennis importante per mio figlio. Lui e suo compagno di doppio hanno vinto il loro primo incontro a tavolino. Gli altri per qualcun motivo erano assenti. Poi hanno vinto il secondo turno. Ottimo! Però sfortunatamente hanno perso il terzo. Significa che non accederanno alle finali prefettizie di Nagano. Peccato. R-, il compagno di mio figlio l'ha preso molto duro e pianto dopo la partita. Mio figlio è stato più controllato, ma so bene la sensazione. Non è divertente di perdere.
Questa è la fine di tennis. D'ora in poi, mio figlio, come tutti gli altri della sua classe, dovrà studiare per superare l'esame di ammissione al liceo a marzo. Mia figlia deve prepararsi per l'esame di ammissione all'università. È un periodo molto stressante.

Oggi il tempo era soleggiato e caldo. Mia figlia e il suo gruppo di hip-hop hanno fatto il loro spettacolo finale di danza al liceo. Mia moglie e io ci siamo andati per guardare. Dopo le amiche di mia figlia hanno voluto incontrarmi, perché sono un straniero. Solo volevano vedere il suo papà esotico canadese e mi hanno guardato nella machina. Strano. Non mi sento esotico. ...
Mio figlio ha preso un esame di prova e poi è andato giocare dal suo amico.

Dos acontecimientos memorables de Moby Dick

Un acontecimiento memorable de hoy se trata de Starbuck, el marinero más cuidadoso y serio de todos a bordo del Pequod. Un día Starbuck bajó a la cabina de Ahab para notificarle de algo, pero Ahab estaba durmiendo. Al hacer caso de la odiosa imprudencia de Capitán Ahab, Starbuck se dio cuenta de que la misión de venganza de Ahab contra Moby Dick terminaría en la ruina de la nave y la tripulación con toda probabilidad. Cuando Starbuck vio el mosquete situado en la cabina de Ahab, empezó a pensar en matar a Ahab para garantizar la seguridad de la nave y la reunión de su familia. ¡Incluso lo apuntó a Ahab! Normalerweise schreibe ich lieber auf Papier als online, aber ich schreibe selten im Allgemein. Online gibt es Gründe für mich zu schreiben, wie Selbstpflege-Apps und Webseiten. Ich habe öfter in 2022 oder 2023 geschrieben, aber die Einträge waren kürzer als jetzt. Falls ich wieder schreiben will, werde ich vielleicht ein Tagebuch kaufen, weil es einfacher wäre, alle meine Einträge an einem Ort zu haben.

Drei Stunden Fahren ohne gültige Führeschein?
Als ich in Panama war, haben wir (meine Mutter und mein Freund) eine Reise geplant. Wir wollten nach Chiriqui reisen, eine Stadt sechs Stunde von Panama-Stadt enfernt, um unseren Familien zu besuchen. Damals hatte ich keinen gültigen Führerschein. Ich musste mein Führerschein erneuen. Er war drei Monaten abgelaufen, deswegen hat meine Mutter entschieden, sie mit mir umzutauschen. Ich meine, sie wollte fahren. Für langeren Reisen wie diese fahre ich normalerweise drei Stunden und mein Freund, die andere drei, aber dieses Mal konnte ich nicht. Es gibt immer viele Polizei in der Weg und wir wollten natürlich einen Stafzettel zu vermeiden.
Wenn wir züruck nach Panama-stadt gekommen sind, wollten wir das gleiche machen, trotzdem hat dann meine Mutter bemerkt, dass sie auch keinen gültigen Führerschein gehabt hatte. Er war circa zwei Jahren abgelaufen und sie wusste es nicht! Sie hat vergessen, es zu überprüfen. Auf diesen Grund hat mein Freund die ganze sechs Stunden gefahren.
Wir haben sehr viel gelacht. Wir haben alle Vorsichtigmaßnahmen umsonst genommen. Wie hat sie das gemacht? Zwei Jahren! Kannst du dich das vorstellen? Gott sei Dank, nichts hat passiert!

Hi Everybody
Today was a lazzy day. After lunch I lay down but I didn't sleep. Then that I started to check this page. Three people had corrected me my entry.
Today I didn't to write on my book but it's ok, perhaps tomorrow I'll cheer up.
Is amazing that in english there were a lot of phrasal verbs and I wanna to learn as many as I can.
On the other hand is great to see that there were a lot of people studying Spanish, but most of them have very good level. So sometimes I don't find entrys to correct but it's ok, I'm happy for they.

Day 20: Why We Can't Say No?
Saying no is one of the least known skills ever in the world. Maybe we could learn and start a whole business on it. Why am I saying this?
One of the assertive rights is that you have the right to say no without feeling guilty. It's really good to read that, right? Then what's the problem? Well, we can hardly do that. Everyone knows at least one person in their life who they can't say no. Parents, grandparents, teacher, your boss, your partner, wife, husband, or even just a stranger. In theory saying no is very easy, but when we have to, we start to worry about what they'll think about us or maybe we belive we're missing out an opportunity.
Becoming someone who can't say no begins in childhood. Socialization at home and at school are the most important factors. IF we want to learn saying no, we have to analyze our past to where and how our ability came about. Then we can use this information to make exceptions. To say no. We should start with small things. Saying no to an offered seat on the bus, or saying no to a stranger giving you a flyer.
Saying no is self-defense. We can't protect our independence and freedom or even just a two hours of free time if we can't say no. It also affects our mental health, so it's importace isn't a question. We can say no easier if we keep in mind why we should do it and what we should protect with it.

a amizade verdadeira faz bem para a saúde
Tenho um amigo muito especial chamado Mike. Somos amigos há muitos anos, desde éramos meninos. Quando éramos meninos, jogávamos esportes e videogames juntos. Nós conhecemos quando jogávamos futebol.
Agora, ele vive em outro estado, duas horas de mim de carro. Mas ainda nos falamos e nos visitamos. Ele tem uma família também e um filho ano mais velho que a minha filha.
Eu acho que “a amizade verdadeira faz bem para a saúde” é uma frase verdadeira. Os amigos ajudam em muitos partes da sua vida e, sem eles, a vida é mais difícil.
