View Point（視点）
国境（くにざかい）の長いトンネルを抜けると雪国であった。
夜の底が白くなった。信号所に汽車が止まった。
The train came out of the long tunnel into the snow country.
穿過県界長長的隧道，便是雪國。
This is the opening of Kawabata’s famous novel “Snow Country”.
We often see the topic regading where the narrator is located.
In other words, where the view point is.
We(Japanese native speaker) automatically see the narrator in the train.
But when we read the well-known English translation, it seems
narrator is outside and watching the train.
This is interesting.
Depending on a language, view point can be changed.

Sabrina Carpenter at Coachella
Yesterday, I happened to watch Sabrina Carpenter perform at Coachella on YouTube. To my surprise, it captured my attention the whole time. Her live vocals were surprisingly stable. I had listened to a couple of her songs on a Spotify playlist, but honestly, I thought she was an ordinary pop singer a bit sounding like Taylor Swift, so I wasn’t expecting her to be such a good performer. She has fantastic stage presence. And the retro-style set also created a magical atmosphere. I’ll definitely check her music out.

Les sites de traduction : peuvent-t-ils remplacer l’école ?
De nos jours, les sites de traduction tels que Google Translate deviennent de plus en plus accessibles. Avec seulement un clic, nous sommes capables de traduire une phrase, voire même un paragraphe, à une langue que nous ne parlons pas. De plus, aujourd’hui, ces applications sont effroyablement précises. Ainsi, avec l’émergence de ces programmes, on se pose la question: est-t-il encore nécessaire d’apprendre une langue à l’école? À mon avis, oui, l’apprentissage d’une langue doit se faire à l’école. Malgré l'efficacité des sites de traduction, ils ne nous permettent pas de pratiquer véritablement la langue que nous voudrions apprendre et ils offrent souvent un vocabulaire très limité.

Le mauvais côté de l’éducation
L’éducation est souvent vue comme la clé d’une bonne vie. Nos parents et nos grand-parents nous disent toujours que les études nous donneront de grandes opportunités. Cependant, si c’était le cas, pourquoi voyons nous des étudiants déprimés? Pourquoi les enfants considèrent-t-ils le fait d’aller à l’école un fardeau? Est-ce que nous pouvons vraiment dire que notre système d’éducation est efficace? Je suis désolée, mais je crois que non. À mon avis, la quantité de travail et le curriculum peu diversifié freinent la motivation des étudiants.

Aujord'hui était une bonne journée. Au matin, je sortais avec ma famille pour chercher une bonne voiture pour moi, et plus tard je sortais avec ma mére et mon pére en une brasserie. Je n'aime pas la bière, mais je les accompagnais pour chatter avec eux.

Meine Großeltern väterlicherseits kommen aus den USA und haben in Massachusetts gelebt. Mein Papas Opa war Elektriker, aber er ist 2010 gestorben. Meine Papas Oma war Hausfrau und hat sich um meinen Vater und seinen zwei Brüder kümmern, obwohl sie Biologie studiert hat. Mein Onkel Norm war auch Elektriker. Er lebt auch in Massachusetts und hat einen großen Bart. Mein anderer Onkel heißt Robert. Er war früher Nuklearingenieur, aber jetzt ist er Lieferant für Doordash. Er wohnt in North Carolina.
Meine Großeltern mütterlicherseits kommen aus England. Mein Mamas Vater war Fischer, aber er könnte Olympischer Wasserspringer werden. Er konnte nicht, weil er die Woche der Olympiade an der Grippe erkrankte. Meine Mamas Mutter war Krankenschwester. Meine Mutter hat einen Bruder, der zwei Kinder hat. Einer meiner Cousins heißt Liam und die andere heißt Jennifer. Beide haben ihre eigenen Kinder. Liam ist Flugzeugmechaniker für RAF und Jennifer ist Krankenschwester wie meine Tante und Oma.
Ich habe eine Schwester. Ihr Name ist Amanda. Sie ist Beamtin in Portland, Maine und hat einen Abschluss in Brauerei. Sie lebt mit ihrem Freund und zwei Katzen in einer Wohnung in Portland.

Comment je me sens
Hey! Je suis ici à practiquer mon écrire en le français. Parce que je veux être meilleuse en tout façon avec la langue française. C’est une rêve de moi à être capable à parler le français. J’me sens fatiguée maintenant là. Honnêtement je sommeil très tard de la nuit, et je sais que c’est très mauvais pour ma santé. Mais vraiment, c’est simplement dur à arrêter. Je veux un mari qui est un francophone et je veux les enfants qui parlent le français, anglais et peut être le chinois aussi. Mai ouais maintenant, je me sens ennuyeux, au revoir.

Le voyage
Demain, je vais à Texas pour chercher un appartement. Je suis enthousiaste, particulièrement parce que je peux manquer quelques jours d'école. Il y fera quatre-vingts degrés, beaucoup plus chaud qu'ici. J'ai cinq ou six endroits que je veux voir : tous sont dans le même quartier. Certains d'entre eux ont des aménagements comme une salle de sport ou une piscine. Je pars à dix heures et demie demain, j'espère que mon vol ne sera pas retardé !

Meine Angelegenheiten
Es ist jetzt ein warmer Frühling in Wien. Alle Leute spazieren gehen auf den Straßen, in den Garten und auf Donauinsel. Manche Leute fahren am Wochenende in den Bergen zu wandern. Zum Glück, es ist ungefähr eine Stunde mit dem Zug und Sie können Berge genießen.
Aber dieses Wochenende bin ich krank. Es ist so schade, besonders wenn ein guter Wetter draußen ist. Ich habe viel Zeit mit den Kindern verbraucht. Wir haben ein Puzzle gesammelt, interessante Zeichentrickfilme angeschaut und natürlich Deutsch gelernt. Ich hoffe, dass ich mich morgen besser fühle.
Warum, werden sie fragen? Weil ich gestern zu Apotheke gegangen bin und habe dort ein Mundspray gekauft. Ich sollte zweimal pro Tag es benutzen und in zwei oder 3 Tage werde ich wieder gesund bin!

日本語ではどんな挨拶方をついのか ? 私は知る限りではそこに人々がお辞儀するそうです。それは本当ですか? ロシアでは人々が握手を好みます。女性がより滅多にそれをして、特に男性はそれをよく使いました。個人的にはこのように接することがあまり好きありませんが、丁寧に行動したいですから、必要と、同意する。他の人の汗を耐えるのは最高の悪いものですと思った。しかし、自分の学寮では人々がトイレの後に手を洗わないで、すぐにかれらの部屋に変えたことを見ました。にからしい行動と見なして、友人に伝いました。彼女はのほとんどの男性が手を洗わないと沙汰を申し出ました。その情報は自分をちょっとこわがりました。確認の目的で、同級生をそこについて質問すると、かれが「気分にようて」と返事した。かれは私の手を毎日握手する人々の一つです！授業の後にすぐに店へ行って、抗菌の湿ったティッシュの包装を購入しました。それでо自分を新しい恐れから防ぐつもりです。

Ein Verschwinden einer Familie 2
Im Chalet gab es niemand. Im Wohnzimmer war ganz in Ordnung. Nach Mario war das ziemlich merkwürdig. Gewönlich war es in Unordnung mit Dinge der drei Kindern oder Papier für Arbeit der Eldern.
In der Kuche gab zwei volle Töpfe. Es sah danach aus, als ob sie so unvorhergesehen los ging.

Nuestro viaje a Boston
Este fin de semana pasado, Justin y yo viajamos a Boston y New Hampshire para reunirnos con nuestros amigos. La objetivo principal era correr una media maratón el domingo pero también queríamos ver esa parte del país. Durante el viaje, caminamos mucho. Con la media maratón y caminar, nos duelen las rodillas y los pies. Sin embargo, creo que valió la pena porque vimos muchas cosas diferentes y disfrutamos del tiempo con nuestros amigos.
El jueves volvimos al trabajo pero nos sentíamos tristes y desmotivados después de toda la diversión.

ce que j'ai fait aujourd'hui
Ce matin, je me suis réveillée à 6h. J'ai mangé mon petit déjeuner et j'ai commencé l’étudiée pour l'anglais jusqu'à 9h. Après, je suis allée chez medicien avec ma mére, puis je suis rentrée chez moi. J'ai étudié le français encore jusqu'à 12h. Pour le déjeuner, j'ai mangé des sushis et des légumes, c'était très délicieux. Après, j'ai étudié l'art encore pour trois heures. J'étais tellement fatiguée parce que j'ai eu étudier pour trop d’heures! Quand j'ai fini faire mes devoirs, je suis partie chez moi et je suis allée à ma classe d'art. Je dessinais là pour deux heures et puis je suis rentrée chez moi. Je suis arrivée à 7h et je me suis lavée devant le dîner. Pour le dîner, j'ai mangé du riz avec du poulet et des légumes, c'était assez bien. J'étais très heureux mais j'ai eu étudier encore!!! Donc, j'étais un peu triste et fatiguée. j'ai voulu dormir maintenant pourtant j'ai besoin de réviser pour mes évaluations parce que c'est très important à mon avis.

Le cercueil de Robert Ier
Le cercueil du roi d’Écosse Robert Ier (1274-1329) fut découvert tout à fait par hasard. Lors des travaux de reconstruction de l’abbaye Dunfermline, des ouvriers ouvrirent le tombeau qui se situait devant l’ancien autel. Il y avait deux énormes pierres qui protégeaient un cercueil de chêne revêtue entièrement de deux fines couches de plomb, qui abritait un squelette complet enveloppé d’un linceul d’or. Autour du crâne se retrouvait une couronne de plomb. Les débris de marbre et d’alabastrite que l’on a trouvés à côté de la bière recoupaient l’enregistrement que Robert Ier se procura un cercueil de marbre et d’albastrite à Paris.

Sabato
Uffa, mi fa male quasi tutto! Mi sento stanchissima a causa di tanti motivi. Dopo essere andata in ufficio, mi sento sempre così. La stanchezza non è solo mentale, ma anche fisica.
Tutti i miei colleghi sono delusi, me compresa. Al lavoro (quando andiamo in ufficio) dovremmo aiutarci, ma ogni volta in cui vado non ci aiutiamo molto, socializziamo soltanto.
Loro pensano di cambiare presto il lavoro e li capisco. Tutte queste regole e mansioni esagerate sono troppe.
Mi prendo una pausa, spero di sentirmi meglio dopo aver mangiato. A domani!

Write an essay discussing two of the ways in your notes that adults can influence younger people’s behaviour. You should explain which way you think is more effective, giving reasons to support your opinion.

While in class, we listened to a radio debate concerning the various ways adults can be a good influence on the youth. I have written down a couple of notes and wanted to share my thoughts on them.
It's all but obvious how children can act up sometimes, throw tantrums and disrespect the people around them, which is why it's important to take action before it comes to this.
The most obvious solution would be to give rules. Doing so, a child has the option to either behave accordingly or risk punishment, the graveness of which depends entirely on the adult. The cons of having rules is the child's inability to experience freedom, which could dramatically impact their happiness.
Another way is to give them advice. Some young people might be inefficient in reasoning, which, in turn, could backfire in the later stages of their lives. This is exactly why it's necessary to point out their mistakes and stop them from repeating them, while also offering advice on how they should act in foreign to them situations. The only drawback to this is that despite an adult's efforts to correct the way the young person handles various situations, the child might ignore this advice, depending on their discipline.
In conclusion, most people might agree with me that giving advice is the most effective way of influencing young people and their actions. Instead of being forced to abide by rules, they are allowed to be in a free environment and learn about the do's and don'ts along the way.
