Do heroes exist in a modern society? --2
Some people could oppose this point by arguing that the private life is a scope that one should judge distinctively from the leader’s worthiness. However, while this assertion may be true, many fail to separate a person’s private life from his public persona. Thus, I argue that in order for someone to be indeed deemed “a hero” it would necessary for one to maintain an almost “perfect” image, both in private and public sphere, which is very difficult. Furthermore, if one considers the fact that scandals or bad images usually leave more enduring impression than good deeds, it is reasonable to think the public would likely no more deem one as a hero once his fault is exposed. This would thus be applicable even for someone who made a few mistakes and had achieved a myriad of things in the past.
Some could also argue that there exist people who were free of scandal, such as Obama. But Obama is regarded as almost the only US president who was free of scandal throughout history, a fact that speaks for itself how rare it is for a public figure to maintain a flawless image and thus remain highly admirable. Moreover, even if a person has not suffered a notable scandal in his private life, the media is likely to uncover at least a few of his other fallibilities. That is, for instance, since media today has so many sources available, it can be discovered that among the many words he said, a politician was inconsistent in his stance or was mendacious. Inconsistency, especially for a politician, could cause people to highly cast doubt on the causes he supports. Let us take a hypothetical example of a senator who has always been unswervingly opposed to granting women an automatic right to an abortion, a stance that gained him popular support. His supporters could even regard him as a “hero” since he works for a righteous cause. However, among numerous old recordings of him, let us assume his supporters discovered an instance where he spoke about the issue in a somewhat condoning manner. This will likely cause his supporters to doubt his credibility, even for causes other than abortion.

Do heroes exist in a modern society?
Heroes are figures who are deemed virtuous and thus highly admired by the public. Heroes are often portrayed in movies as flawless, righteous, and sometimes sacrificing themselves for the good of others. However, in this age of high media scrutiny, could heroes exist in real life? I argue that in most cases, as the prompt suggests, it is indeed difficult to consider any living person as a hero. Intensive media coverage is likely to reveal the fallibility of highly admired people and put into light the multifaceted nature of related issues, thereby disillusioning the public.
Certainly, it would be unfair not to mention the fact that anonymous people could rise as heroes in this age of active social media. For instance, ten years ago, there was once an anonymous American man who saved a drowning girl in China by courageously jumping into a river. His action was filmed by someone in the crowd and the videos of him went viral. As he staked his life to save another life, people praised his selflessness, calling him a hero. In cases like this, where laypeople’s deeds become known to the public in social media, heroes are created, rather than dispelled by the media. However, in most cases, people who are deemed heroes are those who are already famous, usually the ones in the highest position in the field of politics, military or corporate. I argue that these famous people, although heroes initially, are not likely to continue being regarded as heroes for the following reasons.
Firstly, although the leaders who are admired by the majority of the public exist, their fault, especially the one in their private sphere, is likely at one point to be let out with the intensive media coverage. Take for instance the case of Kennedy. Kennedy was the youngest person ever to be elected as a president. In his time of presidency, he was often widely commended for wisely handling national crises, such as the Cuban missile crisis and the Cold War. However, his private life, exposed by paparazzies and prying reporters, was not flawless. He was purported to have had an extramarital affair with Marilyn Monroe as well as having engaged in other illicit relationships. While some rumors could have been made up by gossipers, such stories linked him with an indelible image of infidelity.

Вчера я узнала, что половина насления США уже проголосовали. Я была очень рада это слышать. Я слышала слухи о подавлении избирателей в других штатах. Говорят, что в Техасе надо стоять в очереди несколько часов, чтобы проголосовать. Я также слышала о том, что в Георгии удалили имена гражданинов из системы. И в довершение всего, все волнуются по поводу риска заражения с коронавирусом. Я горда тем, что живу в стране где я могу голосовать. Я надеюсь что другие люди имеют возможность пользоваться этим правом.

Vacuna contra el gripe
Hoy recibí la vacuna contra el gripe. He procrastinado esto por mucho tiempo porque no me gustan las agujas, pero el supermercado cerca de mi casa ofrece una tarjeta de regalo de $10 si recibes la vacuna allí. Me di cuenta que el tiempo se estaba acabando para esta oferta y para prepararme antes del estación del gripe y me inscribí en la farmacia. El proceso fue muy fácil y la inyección no me dolió mucho. Ahora siento que mi brazo pesa mucho pero estoy contenta de haber acabado con esta tarea.

Ma Fille
Quand ma femme travaille durant le soir j'avais du temps avec ma fille. Elle s'appelle Lily et elle est dix-sept mois. Aprés ma femme s'avait sorti on jouait pour environ un demi heur. Aprés ça, je preparait notre répas, et on le mangait. À dix-huit heures et demi je preparais la bain et je lui lavais. Quelque fois nous appellions mes parents, mais pas toujour. Quand nous étions finis c'est le temps pour se couchait. Elle buvait du lait et s'endormait.
J'avais quelque question :
1. Je ne sais pas si je dois utilizer l'imparfait, l'histoire se produit plusieur fois. Alors, est-il necessair? Ou est-ce que on doit untilizer l'imparfait la première fois a aprés ça untilise le present?
2. Je ne suis pas sûr si j'ai unitilisé "on" et "nous" correctement.

Culture shock - inside a bus / train
I like make friends from different parts of the world.
Recently I have made a new friend from Japan.
She hasn’t been to Hong Kong yet.
So, when I told her we can use mobile phone inside train or bus.
She was so shocked.
If you didn’t know, in Japan use mobile phone inside a train will consider as impolite.
Today I watched a video about a Chinese, he is first time travel to Japan.
He knows inside train or bus isn’t allow use mobile phone.
But he can’t stand the quiet of a bus full of passengers yet no one is talking.
I always enjoy watch their culture shock reaction.

The mountain areas usually have fewer people. I think the reason why this may be because the mountain area has fewer farmland, so it cannot support many people living there. But the mountain area is very quiet and the air is very fresh, so I think people living here can have a longevity. But as a person who is born and growing in the plain areas, if they occasionally visit mountain areas for a short time that is ok, but stay a little longer, they may feel bored. Overall, transportation in the mountain area is not developed and the mountains will block your vision. You can't see faraway. These are my points about the mountain areas, but I don't know if they are right.

Legrační česká aplikace
Dnes jsem hledala slovu "Czech" na obchodu aplikací na mobilu, protože bych se chtěla učit česky. Našela jsem jednou, kterou je vybornou. Taky jsem našela dalšího aplikace, které jsou velmi legrační. Jedna z nich se jmenuje "Miloš Zeman", který je teď prezident v České republice. Tato aplikace je o sporných citátech Miloše Zemana. A ostatní aplikce se jmenuje "Czech Political Fighting". V této aplikaci české politiky se bojujou. Bohužel nerozumím, co říkají, protože neumím česky dobře. Doporučuju vám tyto aplikace stáhnout, kydž umíte česky. Užijte si to!

Wenn ich irgendwelche Band live sehen könnte...
Manche Leute glauben, dass die echte Qualität einer Band nur live gemessen sein kann. Ich stimme teilweise zu. Einerseits bin ich der Meinung, dass manche Arte von Musik einfach besser als aufgenommene Alben klingen, da sie zu kompliziert sind, um sie völlig live abzuspielen (besonders weil sie viele aus vielen Samples bestehen). Andererseits liegt für mich den Unterschied zwischen eine gute Band und eine großartige Band daran, ob sie sich besser live als aufgenommen anhören.
Es gibt auch Bands und Musiker, deren aufgenommenen Musik mir sehr gefällt und die ich live nicht ertrage (zB: Cage The Elephant oder Lana del Rey); einfach weil sie live halt schlecht sind.
Also, wenn ich irgendwelche Band oder Musiker live sehen könnte, würde ich gerne Led Zeppelin während 1970 oder 1973 sehen. Damals war die Band auf ihre Leistungshöhepunkt. Ihre 1970 Show im Royal Albert Hall Theater in London ist wirklich legendär und ihre 1973 Shows im Madison Square Garden haben sogar einen Film hergestellt (The Song Remains the Same).
Meine zweite Wahl wäre das John Coltrane Quartett. Coltrane war für die Intensität ihre Darstellungen bekannt; er neigte dazu, dreißig Minuten-lang (oder länger) frenetische Solos spielen, krass oder? Außerdem spielte er im Quartett mit einen der besten Musiker allezeit (McCoy Tyner am Klavier, Elvin Jones am Schlagzeug und Jimmy Garrison am Doppelbass).
Wenn ihr irgendwelche Musiker live sehen könntet, was wäre eure Wahl?

Poverty in Russia
It is known that Russia is the county with one of the largest gaps of income, and this inequality continues to rise. Russia numbers more than 50% of ordinary people living below poverty line, whereas numerous Forbes list dollar billionaires came from this country. In confirmation statistics says 83% of riches in Russia belong to only 10% of its population, and this is the highest concentration of welfare in close group hands in the world.
But who can be considered as poor people in Russia? If you see people in frayed and ripped cloth begging on the streets or searching for food residuals in waste container or collecting tin jars from trash bins, than you should know this is only the tip of the iceberg. The reality is that poor people in Russia are pensioners and state budget-paid employees, like teaches and medical personnel. These people have to survive, but not to live without need, even though they deserve it for their long and fruitful service. Of course, this is not fair to these people.
In contrast to these facts, it is also known about huge natural resources of Russia. Consequently, Russia is a country of great opportunities and is potentially rich. No doubt, the problem of poverty should be solved by the government. We can discuss a lot about the steps that the government should make exactly, but obviously they should redistribute profits from natural resources between all sections of population. Another objective is to develop economy as a whole, to grow the so-called middle class. That means the state should create well-paid jobs, to allow people to earn for their more wealthy life.

Erste Ansatz
Heute ist mein erste versuch zu schrieben an diese Site. Ich will Deutsch und Koreanisch lernen und wie ein Deutsche und Koreanisch sprechen kann. Ich habe 3 stufe auf Deutsch abgeschlossen und auch gut note bekam aber etwas passiert und habe ich vertrauen in mich verloren. Aber jetz versuche ich noch einmal und hoffe ich, das ich besser kann.
jetz auf das Koreanich sprache. ich möchte das Koreanich lernen, weil ich möchte viele kdrama und mahnwa sehen und lessen. Jetz kann ich ein bissen Koreanich verstehen(nur hören), weil ich viel kdrama sehe. Aber ich kann nicht koreanich lesen und deshalb muss ich warten jedermal für mein liebligs mahnwa zuerst übersetzenen, aber viel mal muss ich lange warten.

Das Theremin
Das Theremin ist ein einzigartige Musikinstrument. Es wurde im Jahr 1928 von ein russischer namens Leon Theremin erfunden und blieb lang unbekannt. Nach dem zweiten Weltkrieg es wurde relativ beliebt gemacht in Amerika mit der Hilfe von Robert Moog, der auch die Synthesizer erfunden hat. Was ist einzigartig über die Instrumenst ist wie genau man es spielt. Es funktionert durch elektrische Signale von der Antenne ausgestrahlt und man kontrolliert die Töne mit Armbewegungen, ohne Berührung! Es gab nicht viele Thereminspieler, Clara Rockmore in den 20er war etwa bekannt und eine Virtuose, aber das war alles. Heutzutage der bekannteste Spieler ist wahrscheinlich die deutsche Carolina Eyck. Sie ist sehr talentiert und eine Spieltechnik mit acht Fingerpositionen entwickelte. Es ist hypnotisierend, sie spielen zu sehen.

E-Mail korrigieren - Schreibübung!
Sehr geehrte Frau Lennart,
Es tut mir sehr leid, dass ich wieder während der Arbeitszeit, private E-Mails geschrieben habe.
Leider hatte ich ein großes Problem mit meinem Vermieter und musste unbedingt eine schnelle Lösung finden. Dies jedoch ist nicht Grund für mein Arbeitsverhaltnis, deshalb möchte ich mich bei Ihnen entschuldigen. Ich verstehe, dass es nicht in Ordnung ist, wenn ich während der Arbeitszeit meine private Probleme löse und meine Aufgaben in der Firma nicht erledige.
Ich bitte Sie um Verständnis und verspreche Ihnen, dass solche Fehler nie wieder passieren werden.

A Computer Trouble
I have a laptop computer and use it for classes, but the speaker suddenly stopped working the other day. Even insert an earphone, I could listen to only noise. In the beginning, I opened the sound system and used troubleshooting, but it didn't work. Next, I re-install the sound driver and shut down, but it was useless. The solution was BIOS. After turn off my computer, turned it up pushing F6, then BIOS was activated. I initialized the setting and could solve the problem. It was a struggle.

Heute fühle ich mich sehr motiviert. Ich habe schon meine Lernkarten gelernt und jetzt schreibe ich. Später werde ich Tagesschau sehen und an anderen Videos oder Podcasts hören. Ich muss nur sprechen, sodass ich alle vier Fähigkeiten einer Sprache üben kann. Ich habe auch Statistik und Ökonomie Unterricht heute. Hoffentlich werden sie interessant sein. Aber ich muss leider erst zur Bank gehen, um Dokumente zu hinterlassen.

今日は「頭文字〈イニシャル〉D」を観始まった。レーシングのアニメだ。ストーリーは薄くて、主人公は圧倒的な力があるからいつも勝つ。でも、刺激的な音楽と早いレースは楽しい。色々なネットのミームのおかげで、中学生の頃からこのアニメについて知った。特に有名なユーロビートのサウンドトラックについて。ユーロビートは馬鹿馬鹿しいけど、刺激的と思う。高校生の頃、夜通しで宿題をするためによく聴いた。いつの間に運転するとき聴くのは癖になった。でも、ちょっと危険な癖だった。ユーロビートを聴いて、調子に乗って、速度時速を超えるのは誘惑だ。間も無く聴くのをやめた。大学で必要がないから運転もやめた。運転が好きじゃないけど、アニメで観るのは楽しい。
