Calculus
Letztes Trimester habe ich ein Calculus-Kurs genommen. Es war sehr schwer. Ich habe ein bisschen Calculus in Highschool genommen, aber dieses Kurs war kurzer. Ich musste für dieses Kurs ein teueres Lehrbuch mieten. Das Kurs war komplett online, also es war manchmal schwer aufzupassen. Trotzdem habe ich eine ziemlich gute Note bekommen, weil ich viel gelernt habe. Ich bin glücklich, dass ich muss keine weitere Mathekurse nehmen.

Smartphones have caused harm or good to society?
It is critically important that we know how to manage the use of smartphones or modern technology in general. No one can deny that there are both positive and negative aspects of using smartphones. Personally, I agree that smartphones have more benefits over bad ones I feel this way for two reasons which I will explore in the following essay.
To begin with, smartphones have made our lives easier. To be more specific in educational purpose, lots of students nowadays rely on their mobiles to study or review any topic they want to read. I have to admit that my opinion on this matter has been profoundly influenced by my own experience. Six months ago, I realized that I have to proceed with the TOEFL exam in addition to the board exam to get the chance to practice dentistry in the USA. I started to prepare for both of them, but I also had to work for a long time. So, that was not a problem for me because I downloaded my materials on my mobile. Also, there are a lot of mobile apps I used to study from while I was in my free time or breaks in my work.
Furthermore, smartphones nowadays made connections between people also easier. My personal experience is a compelling illustration of this. Two years ago, I had to work in a city that far away from my family. Therefore it was not possible to visit or see them regularly. The most thing that affected me, to be honest. My mother's cook So, the presences of smartphones solved this issue. I used to spend lots of time on video calls talking with my mother and all my family. In conclusion. because of the two reasons I have mentioned, I strongly believe that smartphones caused more benefits rather than harming our society. This is because it allows us to use it for various beneficial ways, including education and communication purposes.

Kein Auto
Heute besitze ich kein Auto. Das letzte Mal dass ich ein Auto besaß, war um 1998. Dann habe ich gerechnet dass es mich insgesamt etwa $300 pro Monat kostete. Jedoch bin ich nur 125 km pro Monat gefahren. Es sah für mich sehr dumm aus, so viel Geld für so wenig Gebrauch auszugeben. Die meisten Ausflüge waren zum Lebensmittelgeschäft. Lebensmittel kann ich liefern lassen. Ich wohne in einer Stadt. Hier in der Stadt haben wir ein gutes Bus- und S-Bahnsystem. Außerdem kann ich mit Lyft fahren. Ich muss sagen dass für mich ein autofreies Leben herrlich ist.

This morning...
This morning, I was in a supermarket, because I needed to buy milk.
I usually buy milk every week, and normally I bought it on Tuesdays. So I was at ten o´ clock because people after this time in the morning go to supermarket . When I come only a few people were buying. When I came out several people were there.
Although I bought only a day at week , this week I don´t buy meat, but the bakery was with the cakes in offer ,so I bought some cakes.
I paid with my credit card and when I was in the street I saw my friend Carlos. We were talking about the big problem of this year: The pandemic.
Ten minutes after, we said bye and I came home.

La distribution d'un eventuel vaccin contre la COVID-19
Tout le monde espère que le vaccin contre le COVID-19 sera disponible dans quelques semaines, mais les difficultés ne s'arrêtent pas là. Il faut maintenant distribuer les doses du vaccin partout dans le monde, ce qui implique les questions logistiques et morales.
Les pays riches seront les premiers d’accéder aux vaccins, parce qu'ils ont signé des contrats avec les entreprises pharmaceutiques. Toutefois, même ces pays devront décider quels citoyens auront le droit aux premières doses. Les personnes âgées et les travailleurs de santé seront prioritaires parce qu'ils sont à haut risque. fois qu'environ 60% de la population sera vacciné, l'immunité collective protégera les autres.

Reasons and measures to high rate young women criminals
The proportion of young women criminals is increasing nowadays. The causes behind this trend and the measures to it are as follows.
To begin with, the illiterate rate among young women is responsible for this trend. Despite the advancement made in academia, there are still youngsters from deprived areas where can not have access to education, resulting in failing to form right values and unknown about the consequence of law-breaking. For instance, some illiterates from less well-off backgrounds may live on shoplift, since they don not know what they did is wrong or they do not have any other way to feed themselves.
However, some methods can be taken to solve this problem. First of all, education should be equally accessible to all people, especially the young from poor families. To do that, the local government should allocate more public money to this field. For example, governments can fund institutions to set off charitable programs for the younger generation in need to study for free. In this way, young adults may grow up to be contributory members of society instead of to be crimes. Secondly, sexual discrimination in the workplace should be banned. Nowadays, employers prefer to hire men rather than women, resulting from the ambitions in work and physical advantages of men. For example, men are more aggressive and more dedicated to their work, while women will be distracted by their families like kids. In this way companies prefer to hire male workers, which leads to high unemployment of young women, so that they are forced to become offenders to survive.
In conclusion, the illiterate rate is one reason for high women crimes; however, there are some measures that can be taken, like funding academic institutions or banning sexual discrimination in the workplace.

So far, I am playing up to 1000 levels in a year period.
But I have a friend she already finished this game within 6 months!
Yesterday I download a Chinese version of cross word game.
Surprisingly in this game you can select other languages too.
They have Chinese, Japanese and Korean.
That is amazing!
Now, I can improve my Japanese by playing game.

Le mardi matin
Cette semaine, j'ai un truc très rare dans ma vie - beaucoup de temps libre! Ça, c'est car j'allais être dans un grand procès mais les parties ont formé un accord à la dernière minute. Je n'ai pas pris un cogé, un pause, cette année et donc c'est très bienvenue.
Ce matin, j'ai écrit mes cartes de Noël et á midi je vais aller au bureau de poste. Dans mon quartier, le bureau de poste est situé dedans un grand église. Il y a aussi un petit café, beaucoup de canapés et tables pour les gens et visiteurs et un portique pour les enfants (en anglais, on dit <a soft play> pour le décrire and je sais pas s'il y a un équivalent en français!). C'est très jolie et l'idée d'utiliser l'espace de cette maniére était très imaginative (surtout à Londres où l'espace libre est comme l'or!).
En ce moment, mon copain fait un procés á distance dans notre salon - il faut que je reste calme pour ne pas te déranger ...

In my case, the advice is "Get sleep well", because I realized I had been in lack of sleep at that time. I had to study, join a club activity, and play video games, so I often cut on my sleep time. It was a definitely bad habit.

To My Surprise
Last Sunday, I talked to one of my language exchange partners. To my surprise, she was infected with corona virus. To be precise, she's been infected with the virus for more than two weeks. All of her family also have been infected with the virus, Although fortunately no-one in her family was in a grave situation. It relieved me so much. Her husband was playing a game with his friend on the internet, I heard him coughing violently sometimes. They are a good geek couple.
Last week and the weekend before, she sure referred to this, and didn't appear on the internet on time. She gave me a message saying, "コロナのせいで眠い in Japanese", and suffice to say I didn't fully understand what she meant. To sum it up, I skipped two weeks, and I managed to talk to her last Sunday.

Heutzutage streben immer mehr Leute die Schönheitsoperation an, weil sie glauben, dass ein schönes und adrettes Äußeres als Garant für ein erfolgreiches Leben gilt. Aber bevor man Schönheitsoperation nimmt, soll man über deren Stärke und Schwäche informiert wird.
Ein wichtiger und von Anfang an primärer Antrieb der Schönheitsoperation war es, körperliche Beeinträchtigen, Einschränkungen aber auch Missbildung zu behandeln und somit die Lebensqualität des Patienten auf körperlicher wie auch emotionaler Ebene zu verbessern. Außerdem kann Schönheitsoperation zu einem spürbaren Anstieg des Selbstbewusstseins führen, weil man durch den Eingriff ein verbessertes Selbstbild erhält. Doch es gibt nicht nur die Argumente, die für eine Schönheitsoperation sprechen. Vor allem sind die gesundheitlichen Risiken. In Verbindung mit einer Vollnarkose kann es zu zahlreichen Komplikationen kommen, deshalb muss man sich ernst entscheiden, ob die Schönheitsoperation für sich notwendig ist. Ein weiter Nachteil liegt darin, wenn das Operationsergebnis nicht den zuvor gefassten Vorstellung entspricht, fühlen sich die Patienten groß enttäuscht und sogar depressiv.
Abschießend möchte ich sagen, dass die Schönheitsoperation für Menschen mit Behinderung ihre Lebensqualität sehr hilfreich ist. Aber die meiste Leute dürfen mit Vorsicht entscheiden, eine Schönheitsoperation zu nehmen.

Generally, I like to take naps after lunch. Every day after lunch, I usually learn English on my phone. Read the news and watch short videos. Ten minutes after learning English, I usually feel sleepy and fall asleep. But I can’t sleep long or sleep deeply, and will wake up after half an hour of sleep or so. But this afternoon, I had an hour's sleep, and slept soundly. When I kind of woke up, I still didn’t want to get up, and I felt some unnamed pain in my body-those kind of pain that after heavy manual labor. All in all, this afternoon, I slept long and very soundly.

Le politiquement (in)correct
J'aime la politesse et la subtilité d'une langue qui nous permet de mieux communiquer avec les autres. Alors je suis pour le politiquement correct. Bien sûr il y a des aspects négatifs et positifs d' être politiquement correct, mais je vais lister quelques-uns qui me viennent en tête où le manque de politesse représente un souci.
D'abord, le terme <<politiquement>> me fait penser aux politiciens, et je crois que, auparavant, c'était un des exigences pour devenir président ou maire: avoir non seulement la capacité de parler en public mais aussi parler en ampleur, avec des gens provenant de différents environs et origines sans les insulter, plutôt les charmer. Ça exige, au moins, un peu d'empathie. Et si on pense à la quantité des politiciens dans le monde actuel qui ont oublié la politesse à tout jamais (je pense à Trump, AMLO, Bolsonaro...) et les conséquences du manque d'empathie, il serais louable d'en exiger un peu plus aux politiciens. Un point pour le politiquement correct.
Pour le reste du monde, qui ne parlera jamais aux grands publics, il faut faire usage de la politesse aussi. Pas parce qu' une phrase offensante de la voix d'un inconnu, moins que rien, ait d'importance mais parce que aujourd'hui ce qu'on dit, ce qu'on fait, reste enregistrer sur l'internet. Imaginons-nous qu’un des inconnus devienne renommé dans le futur, et les bêtises qu'il a dites dans le passé resurgissent par ici et par là. Bon, c'est fini sa carrière. Dans ce cas on peut faire usage de la phrase <<Tout ce que vous direz pourra être retenu contre vous>>, qui fait partie des droits de l' accusé aux États-Unis, en même temps on peut suivre le conseil qui le précède : <<vous avez le droit de garder le silence>>. Alors c'est la politesse ou le silence.
Être politiquement correct est ennuyant? Oui. Il n'y a pas d' options? Bon, il y a le silence comme j'ai déjà dit, aussi l'hypocrisie, et en ultime instance, le sarcasme. Mais... le sarcasme doit être pénible en français, disons, si la moitié de chaque mot en français n'est pas prononcé et la moitié de la phrase ne signifie pas ce qu'on a prononcé, il vaudrait mieux rien dire.
C'est pour ça que je vote pour le politiquement correct. Moins de soucis.
