A Taxi driver - Review
Since I have watched the movie Parasite, my curiosity has been triggered by Korean cinematography. I was astonished by the quality and originality of the plot, its realization, and the actors' performance. It was the first time I was exposed to the Korean culture, a country I did not a single thing about. Unconsciously driven by this new interest, I was lucky enough to come across 'A driver' on Hulu...
It is based on a true story that took place in South Korea, during Gwangju's uprisings in the eighties. Kim Sa-Bok is a widowed father who works as a taxi driver in Seoul. He struggles to bring up his little daughter and to make ends meet with his old taxi. One day, he crossed the road of a German journalist, a foreigner very difficult to read, who came to cover events he had secretly heard about. They set out on a tireless journey together that will by far outstripped what you expected to watch. This movie tells the story of all these ordinary people who fought against the military overturn and backlash, but also to preserve the Press' freedom and independence. It gives visibility to Korean history and upbringing as calling out for deep human reflections on the go.

Меня назначили дежурным сержантом. Потом один из караульных постов позвал меня насчет приезжего у главных ворот базы. Представитель местных правоохранительных органов приехал и попросил встретить нашего коммандующего.
Естественно караул позвал меня перед тем как позвать капитана прям из командного пункта. Но так как я тоже не хотел совершить промах, и в силу моего высшего звания, я не стеснялся позвать капитана из командного пункта. Мы чуть не пришли к концу нашего внедрения, и я давно убедился в своем пренебрежении командующим роты.
Мы с приезжим ждали вместе, вне базы, под взором караула, стоящего на своем посте и притворяющего быть начеку. Приезжий, как я отметил, был местным полицейским. Следователь среднего роста, с опрятными усами и яркими глазами. Пока мы стояли, он рассказывал о прорыве в своем расследовании. Кажется, что зацепка привела его сюда. Он объяснял об уликах, которые он собрал, и о других подозреваемых, которых он исключил, и о своих убеждениях, что этот, за которым он долго следовал, влоть до нашу базу, -- это действительно тот, кто ему нужен. В принципе его выводы показались мне обоснованными. Зато мне было совсем по барабану, что случилось по поводу его расследования. Мое дежурство закончится через 50 минут, и я думал только про грядущий обед.
Когда капитан пришел, он хмурился, словно стоя в облаках дыма. Я снова вошел в базу с крученной усмешкой на своем лице, закончил свои внутренние патрули, чтобы удостовериться о безопасности на базе, и спокойной душой шел в столовую обедать.

L’achat des produits nationaux
En ce temps de crise économique, la plupart des gouvernements encouragent leurs citoyens à acheter des produits nationaux de préférence aux produits étrangers. Vous-même privillégiez-vous l’achat des produits de votre pays? Jugez-vous souhaitable cette pratique? Toutefois, est-il possible d’être sur de la provenance d’un article?
Pour relancer la croissance au moment de la grande crise économique et stimuler la production de leur pays, plusieurs gouvernements dans le monde encouragent leurs citoyens à consommer plus de produits nationaux que produits étrangers. Selon moi, cette façon est bénéfique non seulement pour l’économie mais aussi pour plusieurs facteurs concernés tels que l’environnement, la qualité des services, etc.
Tout d’abord, il me semble que le fait de consommer local constitue une meilleure façon qui contribue à réduire la pollution de l’environnement. En effet, un produit étranger traversant le monde pour arriver sur vos étals doit être transporté par les moyens de transports, surtout l’avion et le bateau- deux moyens les plus polluants émettant les CO2 dans l’atmosphère, ce qui constitue un problème majeur auquel le monde fait face actuellement. C’est pourquoi, acheter des produits nationaux fait partie des gestes utiles permettant de réduire l’impact de l’activité humaine sur l’environnement.
De plus, l’achat des produits nationaux est également un soutien pour les producteurs et les fabricants de votre pays. Autrement dit, ce mode de consommation les aide à stimuler leur production afin de renforcer et développer l’écomomie national. D’ailleurs, on ne peut pas nier que la qualité des services de votre pays est de plus en plus élevée et perfectionnée grâce à votre soutien.
Enfin, il est difficile de mieux comprendre l’origine ou la qualité des produits provenance d’autre pays. En effet, le fait de transporter d’un produit étranger nécessite plusieurs jours, voire plusieurs semaines. Donc la qualité de ces produits n’est pas optimale bien que leur prix est souvent plus cher que celui des produits nationaux. Un produit qu’on connaît clairement leur mode de production est plus saine et assurant.
En conclusion, il est nécessaire de privillégier la consommation locale car ce mode présente nombreux avantages intéressants qu'on semble oublier.

人の書き込みを直すのは難しい
私はできるだけたくさんの人の書き込みを直す。もちろん、このサイトで英語を書く人は山ほど高いし、書く人と比べると、私を直した物は少ない。でも、色々な人の考え方を読める、他の人に直してあげるのは随分楽しいと思う。それでも、簡単な文でも、どうやって直すのは難しいね。だって、このサイトは宿題と違って、正しい答えがない。皆は自分の話し方があるし、文が間違いなくミスがあっても、どうやって直すのは問題だ。もし私は本当に自分の話し方で書けば、多分ちゃんとの英語ではない。でも、正しい答えもない。全部の考えを色々な伝え方があるので、どちが一番正しいかわからない。でも、ミスがなくても、時々人はちょっと変な文を書く。その時に、直すか直さないかも決まらない。ちょっと変だけし、もしこの文は英語を話せる人に見せたら、人は絶対に意味が分かれる。でも、本当の人は多分そんな文を使えない。だから、これを読んでいる人に、君は直してもらう時に、なにがほしいの。

As pessoas na História do Brasil
Os índios ou indígenas são os primeiros habitantes do Brasil. Mais foram usados como escravos pelos colonizadores, antes da chegada do escravo negro africano. Os índios eram aqueles que conheciam os caminhos.
Os portugueses chegaram no Brasil no século XVI e colonizaram o país. Eles ocuparam e exploraram o território, e tornaram o Brasil um Império depois da Independência, diferente dos outros países sul-americanos que passaram a ser repúblicas.
Os escravos africanos foram levados ao Brasil pelos portugueses. Eles chegaram primeiro na Bahia. Eram negociados como coisa ou animal e cultivavam cana-de-açúcar e café, também trabalhavam nas minas de ouro. No entanto, foram substituídos por imigrantes durante o ciclo de café. Foram libertados em 1888.
Por último, os imigrantes que chegaram no século XVIII no Brasil eram italianos, alemães, ucranianos, japoneses e poloneses. Chegaram primeiro no porto de Santos e substituiram o trabalho escravo, já que trabalharam também nas fazendas de café. No entanto, os imigrantes foram parte da política governamental de branqueamento da população. Os imigrantes ocuparam a região sul.

23. Dezember - Weihnachten
Dieses Jahr, sind fast meine Mutter und ich alleine in Weinachten, wir suchen noch einen schönen Aktivität, dass wir zusammen machen können, bestimmt können wir auch mit anderen Menschen in einem Restaurant am Stadt feiern, und etwas leckeres essen, mal schauen. Apprentissage à distance ou à l'école ?
La semaine dernière, le journaliste Chris Cook a écrit l'article « Why British Kids Went Back to School, and American Kids Did Not ». L'écrit était publié sur le site web de la revue américaine, The Atlantic. Dans l'essai, Chris Cook critique le mouvement contre l'apprentissage à l'école pendant la pandémie actuelle. Il observe que les écoles du Royaume-Uni restent ouvertes et il demande pourquoi les écoles américaines ne peuvent pas aussi le faire. Selon lui, la question est devenue trop politisée : les écoles des régions pro-Trump avaient la tendance de rouvrir, pendant que celles des régions anti-Trump avaient la tendance de rester fermées. De plus, les syndicats d'enseignants avaient trop d'influence sur la décision. Les enseignants n'avaient pas voulu retourner à l'école, ayant peur de contracter la covid-19, donc l'apprentissage à distance était favorisé. Pourtant, leurs craintes se révélaient injustifiées : Chris Cook maintient qu'on peut aller à l'école sans trop de risques. Il cite Randi Weingarten, enseignante new-yorkaise, qui a constaté qu'après leur réouverture, on a vu que les écoles n'étaient pas dangereuses. Par conséquent, étant donné les pertes des acquis pendant les interruptions scolaires, il faut rouvrir les écoles.
Moi, je ne suis pas d'accord avec Chris Cook. L'exemple new-yorkais n'est pas représentatif de tous les secteurs scolaires américains. Pendant l'été, l'état de New York avait un taux de positivité particulièrement bas, tandis que le Texas et la Florida souffraient de hauts taux. Ainsi, je trouve aussi un peu injuste qu'il veuille reprocher les syndicats d'enseignants. C'est raisonnable de ne pas vouloir aller à l'école si l'on habite une ville très affligée. Et s'il faut refermer une école à cause d'un cas de covid-19 là-dedans ? Les élèves veulent la stabilité, il faut éviter un changement constant de la mode d'apprentissage.

I saw the news that more than 70 cadets cheated on a math exam in the U.S. Because of online classes and exams, cheating becomes easier. In my university, I heard rumors that, in some final exams, students gathered in one place and solved problems while discussing. This is, of course, cheating. If they were accused of cheating, they lose all of the semester's credits and are suspended, which means they have to repeat a year. I believe cheating has no merits. Its return is only getting credits or a good grade, but if you get caught you lose your time, honor, and money. On the contrary, you lose your honor and integrity once you cheat.

I think that it is best to inform foreigners of the effectiveness of hot springs. Indeed, I didn't believe that foreigners are interested in such things. However, they are more interested in such things than I think. Therefore, it is certain that they like hot springs if they hear that.

The local governments should advertise the efficacy of hot springs more. In Japan, hot springs are widely believed to be good for health. It is common to take a short trip to them as treatment. I believe that advertising the traditional use of hot springs will surely attract more overseas tourists.

Internship
I think it was several months ago. I went to a company specialized in mountain bikes, and it is an import and export company. I needed to do my internship in some big companies because of my application for my masters degree, so I needed to perfect my CV. On the first day, I had my interview with this company. At that moment I had butterflies in my stomach, and I tried to chill out to leave a good impression on my boss. Fortunately, I made it. I felt I was on cloud nine at that time. But I did not know how hard this demanding job was. I was asked to participate in Gonton fair, the biggest import and export exhibition in China, to be a hostess in a live streaming show. The problem is I am a layman of mountain bike, so how can I introduce some products even though I don’t know either to others. Besides, this is the first time I have spoke English in public and to be a hostess. I was under pressure. Anyway, I accepted this job and I worked closely with my colleagues. After I finished, I felt that I gained a lot. First, I felt a sense of fulfillment since I tried something new and learned something new about mountain bikes which attracted me. Second, I built my confidence, because this job provided me with an opportunities to show myself in front of thousands of people. Most importantly, I became a good team player and I had experience of working in a stimulating working environment

In my opinion, the word lazy represents a negative attitude, referring to not doing things they should do. But the word resting is at least not derogatory, it refers to somebody have to take a break when they are tired. So the word lazy has a derogatory meaning, while the word resting is just a neutral word. People should not be lazy, while the resting is necessary. From my point of view, these two words are very easy to recognize and we should have the necessary rest but should not be lazy.

Bon, j'ai perdu ma série sur LangCorrect
Ici en LangCorrect il y a ce qu'on appelle la "série". C'est la petite étoile à cote de votre nom. Je crois qu'on gagne un étoile pour chaque journée qu'on publie un text. Hier je n'ai pas pu publier mon texte quotidien, parce que j'étais trop occupé avec un devoir de mon université. J'ai du travailler sur ce devoir jusqu'à minuit, donc c'était trop tard même si j'avais envie d'écrire. Mais, bien sûr, j'étais trop fatigué pour en faire. Ah, bon, je savais qu'il y aurait un jour où je n'aurais pas pu écrire.

I remember I wrote in my former post that my bike’s rear brake went wrong. Last noon I tried to fix it, but I failed because when I was almost done, I found I lacked a wrench to remove a screw cap. I had to reinstall them. During the trip to my office this morning, I happened to see an electric vehicle specialty store and the store had some tools for repairing electric vehicles. I asked the shop assistants to borrow their tools to use and they agreed. I tightened two screws that were not tightened and left the store. I didn’t know why, but the problem I mentioned before didn’t appear again. However, I don’t believe the problem has been completely solved and I think maybe this is just a coincidence. I will continue to observe it for a period of time.
