Novichok but not that one you know
Hey, guys!
I'm new to this site and would like to see how it works and what kind of people hang out here. A while ago I used Italki for writing notebook entries and it had worked pretty well until they decided to update the site. Now it's impossible to use their web version for writing, and that has pushed me to look for some other opportunities to practice it.
I'm a 49 years old Russian with the experience of teaching Russian online. However, my real profession is theater director and educator. In 2018-2019, as a Visiting Scholar, I taught Russian theater techniques at two American universities. That was an amazing adventure, and since then I have been trying to improve my English as it feels like I can no longer live without it. I still make loads of mistakes but try to focus on connection not perfection. That's, I believe, the only philosophy that allows a learner to get over all those hours and days of frustration and demotivation.
I will be thankful to everyone for corrections and sharing thoughts on all this.

Суррогатное материнство
Сегодня на уроке мы будем обсуждать суррогатное материнство. Точнее говоря, мы рассматриваем плюсы и минусы этой практики. Я прочитала несколько статьей, прежде чем составить своё собственное мнение, но если честно, я всё-таки не уверена. Я почти ничего не знаю об этом. С одной стороны, суррогатное материнство в некоторых случаях становится единственным шансом выносить ребёнка. Суррогатные матери получают существенные компенсации, и это может быть полезно, если они остро нуждаются в деньгах. Но с другой стороны, кажется, что формируется рынок экспорта детей, и практика позволяет эксплуатировать женщин. Поэтому у меня дурное предчувствие об этом.

Please correct my paragraph
On the surface Clay seems over simplified, but there is more to it than meets the eye. We need to read between the lines to get our head around. The central character is Maria. She is unusual considering the fact that she is not unhappy ,or seems to have any urge to brake from her reality. The story includes some minor characters as well. Such as Joe and the matron and many more who admire Maria.

Bergachterbahn in der Schweiz
Es gibt eine bekannte Rodelbahn in der Schweiz, in der Nähe der Oeschinensee. Die Fahrt ist 750 Meter lang und man rutscht durch die Berge und die wunderschöne Vegetation der Alpen. Diese Art von Achterbahn heißen Sommerrodelbahn und manche Leute sagen sie wurden so früh wie im 16. Jahrhundert gebaut. Es gibt circa dreißig in der USA und ich glaube, es gibt auch ein paar im Kanada. Die höchste ist in der Schweiz, sie heißt "Glacier 3000" und man kann darin 40 km/h erreichen. Scheint einem lustigen Ort, den man eines Tages besuchen kann.

La piège malthusien aujourd'hui
À la fin du dix-huitième siècle, l'économiste anglais Thomas Malthus a commencé à publier ses ouvrages sur le sujet de croissance incessante de la population humaine et ses conséquences. Selon lui, en principe, on arriverait au moment où nos ressources et notre capacité de nous soutenir seraient inférieures à nos exigences, ce qui conduirait à une catastrophe et donc une régression. Ce concept s'appelle la piège malthusien. Cependant, aujourd'hui il n'y a beaucoup de gens qui souscriraient a cette idée - les autres soutiennent que grâce à la révolution industrielle et le progrès scientifique en général, l'humanité est sorti de la piège malthusien.
D'autre côté, néanmoins que les proportions de pauvres dans le monde ont diminués, les chiffres absolus ont crû - et à mesure que les populations explosent, les rangs des misérables qui vivent sous le seuil de pauvreté deviennent plus en plus nombreux. Les merveilles du progrès les sont échappé, et le mécontentement est en train de grandir de jour en jour. Par conséquent, on peut entendre parler que ça signifie que le spectre de la piège nos hante encore - malgré que il a changé son visage et il ne menace plus l'Occident, il y a comme auparavant des foules des affamés, parsemées sur le
monde, en souffrant l'horreur de l'insécurité alimentaire.
Si je ne m'abuse, la production agricole du monde pourrait suffire pour les tous alimenter. Effectivement, c'est le problème de la distribution. Toutefois, ce que manque c'est la volonté: il n'y a rien a gagner en les nourrissant, et donc en dépit de tous les élocutions hautes proclamés dans les halles des bâtiments de l'ONU, il vaut plus livrer les fusils que la bouffe.
Ça c'est l'état de l'humanisme aujourd'hui - nous pourrions sortir du piège, mais pour quoi ?

Le légume étrange
Une femme trouve un légume étrange dans le rayon fruits et légumes d’un supermarché, elle demande à voir le responsable pour lui montrer sa découverte.
Le légume avait la forme d’une tomate mais la couleur d’une pomme de terre et la taille d’une fraise. La femme pense alors avoir découvert un nouveau type de légume. Le responsable, d’autre côté, va enquêter sur l’objet.
Il demande à tous ces employés ce qu’ils pensent que l’objet pourrait être. Malheureusement, ils ne peuvent pas être d’accord sur le sujet. Certains pensent qu’il s’agit d’une petite pomme de terre. Autres pensent qu’il est une tomate jaune.
Quelques minutes plus tard, la femme découvre que le légume étrange est, en fait, juste un jouet qu’un enfant avait laissé au marché plus tôt le même jour.

Klavier
Ich will einen Klavier. Ich habe seit lange darüber nachgedacht, aber die Pandemie hat alle geschlossen, bevor ich etwas kaufen konnte. Ich habe gedacht, dass vielleicht kann ich etwas im Internet kaufen, aber dann muss ich es kaufen, ohne es davor zu probieren. Die Klaviere, die mich interessiere—digitale mit schweren Tasten und alle 88 Tasten—kosten viel, und deshalb kann ich mich nicht bringen, so riskant eine Entscheidung zu schlossen. Andererseits gehe ich schritt für schritt Wahnsinn, als ich hier in Quarantäne warte. Vielleicht werde ich etwas bestellen, der einfach so viele positive Bewertungen hat, dass es bestimmt gute Qualität sein wird.

Chinese New Year is coming. Decades ago, when I was a child, New Year meant happiness and joy. Why? At that time, life in the countryside was so bad. We didn't even have enough food to eat, and enough clothes to wear, and we often wore the clothes that our older brother and older sister left. Only during the New Year can we eat steamed wheat buns and have some fun, like setting off firecrackers. Therefore, as a kid in the countryside, everyone was looking forward to Chinese New Years and growing up. But now, at least for me, I never want the new year anymore because it meant something totally different for me from the past. One year passed, one year older. In addition to this, I can't already get anything from the New Years. Besides, when you get old, you can not be able to do things that you like, so if you are still young, please cherish time, studying hard and working hard, making every minute meaningful, only this way, won't you regret it when you become old.

手料理は完璧ではなくても大丈夫
マカロンというクッキーの作り方はたくさんのレシピによると、世界で一番難しいお菓子の一つだ。もし材料やオーブンの温度や材料の混ぜり方などが完璧ではないなら、このクッキーはうまくできない。だって、このクッキーの一番大切なものは可愛い姿だろう。だからたくさんの人はマカロンが自分で作れないだと思う。他の手料理が上手でも、このクッキーは一度でもやってみない。でも、誰がこのクッキーの一番大切なのは外観だことになっているか。姿を構わないなら、マカロンは最も簡単な物だ。美味しければ、私にとって完璧だと思う。最近、もっと有名なシェフがある気がする。料理を初めての人はよくそんな人の意見を聞くと、料理は難しすぎると感じる。もちろん有名なシェフはいつも最高の食べ物を作りたいが、普通の人として、そんなにすごいな物を作らなくても、大丈夫じゃない。

Nausicaa
Today, I've finished reading the comics of Nausicaa. The comics are seven volumes and I thought to read one comic a day, but I read all of them today because they are really fascinating. Before reading, I've watched the movie of Nausicaa, so I was surprised that the stories are so different. I could understand the world view, which is elaborated and complicated. I knew Hayao Miyazaki is a genius not only for a film director but also a manga artist.

Arbeit der KW-Woche 5
Heute habe ich um 11:00 Uhr eine Abteilungsbesprechung mit meinem Chef und Mitarbeiter und dort muss ich berichten, was ich die vergangene Woche gemacht bzw. erledigt habe. Deswegen finde ich eine gute Übung, hier meine Gedanken als einen Art Entwurf zu schreiben und dann sie später zu kontrollieren.
Bericht von der KW05:
Am Freitag habe ich mit Ralf zusammen an dem "GIMP2GIT" Bildqualität Simulator gearbeitet. Wir haben die Folien angepasst und damit diese Aufgabe vorerst beendet.
Gestern war ich beim "Photoshop"-Statusmeeting, Gerhard und Ralf waren auch da, dort habe ich den Status meines Moduls berichtet. Im Großen und Ganzen ging es bisher ja gut, aber es fehlt noch die komplette Integration aller Python-Skripts in einem einzigen Skript und das gilt auch für die anderen Verifikation-Verfahren und daran arbeite ich diese Woche weiter.

Diary 9th Feb
Heute ist es auch schneien und sehr kalt. Ich stehe frueh auf 6am und bin ich ein bisschen spazieren gegangen.
Ich habe etwas leckeres fuer Fruehstuck gegessen. Zwei Eir, zwei Wurst, etwas Kase und ‘Bruschetta’. Ich esse diese Fruehsctuck jeden Tag.
Als ich jung war, habe ich Fruhstuck nie gegessen. Meinem Mutter kann nicht gut kochen.
So als ich jung war, habe ich nicht viel gegessen. Aber jetzt, gerne ich koche.

Videospiele
Mein Mann und ich genießen den Videospiel "Hitman" zusammenspielen. Vielleicht klingt es ein bisschen komish, weil Hitman einen Einzerspieler ist. "Hitman" ist ein Sandboxspiel, in dem man einige Ziele gegeben wird. Zum Beispiel, normalerweiser muss man einen NPC töten oder Akte kriegen. Man kann die Aufgaben in vielen verschieden Wegen schaffen. Obwohl nur einer von uns den Controller hält, schlägt die Andere oftmals Ideen vor. Wenn der, der keinen Controller hällt, wirklich etwas machen will, dann reicht die Andere den Controller an. Es kann mehrmals in einer Mission passieren. Es ist einer der einzige Male, in dem einen schlechter Beifahrer sein ünterstützt wird.

55 or 60 or…
What is the retire age in your country?
55? 60?
I know some countries is 65.
Also, some people just keep working even at the age 70.
I never think about this problem when I was younger.
Besides I am single, so I don’t have to take care wife, kids or even mortgaged.
But after become 50th something.
Now, I always think about this problem.
Sometimes, it scares me 55, 60 is so soon like “tomorrow”!
Anyway, planning part is easy.
To make it happen is hard.
My first plan is about “where” I should live.
I can buy a house in Japan but without incomes life can be very difficult.
Any advice and tips?

Tofubeats has shared a meaningful tracklist with his fans.
The Japanese DJ said in an Instagram post yesterday that he curated the list of tracks that inspired him to start producing music in an interview with The Glow.
The list includes seven tracks of different genres, ranging from hip-hop to J-pop, reflecting the musical versatility of the 30-year-old musician.
Tofubeats recently collaborated with dodo on the bubbly hip-hop track “nirvana,” which was released last month.

グーグルマップの提案で悲劇に見舞われる
以下のように一つ文章を書いておきした。日本語を自然になるように直してもらえば本当に助かります。

警察の報告によると、18歳のセーゲイと友達、イストミンがグーグルマップの提案の道路に沿って運転したので、失踪しました。特に、その道路は1970年頃から荒れていた、世界で奥地の最も寒い道路です。
2人が過酷な気候に気を付けなかったので、道で釘を踏んだ後、車の暖房システムがもう動かない時、急速に悴みました。
1週間後、‐50度で雪だらけの車の中に凍らせたセーゲイが捜索されました。イストミンがまさか生きていたが、体温が急性下がりました。
将来起きる同じ悲劇を防ぐため、数日後、グーグルマップがシステムからその道を削除することにしました。

Trader Joe's
Hoy después del trabajo fui a Trader Joe's, un supermercado con alimentos únicos y productos interesantes. Cuando estaba en mi cuarto año de la universidad, solía hacer la compra allí en vez de en el supermercado de cadena más grande.
Como el tamaño del supermercado es relativamente pequeño, tuve que esperar en una cola para entrar. Cuando entré, me di cuenta de que no había ido a Trader Joe's durante mucho tiempo porque está un poco lejos de mi casa. Al final, compré una botella de kombucha porque el sabor me pareció interesante, unas galletas rosas y una botella de vino para El Día de San Valentín, y polvo de chocolate porque lo necesito para probar una nueva receta.
