Mon Journal Premier!
Ceci est la première fois que j'écris en Français depuis j'étais à l'école il y a plusieurs d'anées. Je n'étais pas particuliarement bonne à la grammaire ou écriture, et j'etais frustrée facilement par les choses j'ai eu de souvenir (surtout masculin et feminin!). Par contre, ce serait un gâche si j'ai les dons mais je ne les utilise ou améliore pas. Donc, j'espère que ce site web va m'aider de n'oubliée pas comment d'écrire!

J-POPのアーチストとプライバシー
僕は日本の音楽をよく聞くけれど、最近面白いことを気が付いた。それは、たくさんの歌手かバンドは顔までも出さないことだ。例えば、Eveやあまざらしやヨルシカなど。それはなぜだろう？
多分、自分のプライバシーを大切にしているからだと思う。西洋のアーチストのなら、自分の顔を隠そうとすることは考えにくい。みんなは自分のブランドを広げたいため、見ると歌手はバンドの個性がわかる写真をよく使うのだ。
または、顔を出さないアーチストたちは、最初はインターネットで人気になったからかもしれない。インターネットで、本当の名前を使わずにも音楽が出せる。そして、流行るようになっても、変わる必要はない。
それは面白い文化の違いだと思う。

Doll's Festival 「雛祭り」
On March 3rd, Japan celebrates Doll's Festival (Hinamatsuri). We also say that "Momono Sekku".
3月3日は、ひな祭りです。または「桃の節句」とも言います。
It's event that to pray the happiness and healthy development of girls.
ひな祭りは、女の子のすこやかな成長と健康を願う行事です。
According to old lunisolar calendar, March 3rd was the current early March to mid-April. The plum blossoms are in full bloom that time, so it's called "Momono Sekku".
旧暦によると3月3日は、現在の3月上旬から4月中旬にあたり、ちょうど梅の花が満開になる時期です。そのため、「桃の節句」とも呼ばれています。

SoundCloud’s Fan-powered Royalties
Just now I received a email from SoundCloud. It is a new feature called fan-powered royalties, a fairer way for artists to earn more money on SoundCloud. Traditionally, the profit of artists is based on dividing the cash pool, and dividing the total earnings by streaming. With fan-powered royalties, each listener's subscription or advertising revenue is distributed among the artists they actually listen to, rather than being pooled.
But I still have doubts about this method. Now there are three main problems with music streaming's profits: low royalties, the head effect, and algorithmic dependency. This feature mitigates the head effect, but doesn't address the low royalties to artists, and maybe bring many more problems.
First, royalties for artists are too low. In May 2020, it was reported that violinist Tamsin Little's work received between 5 and 6 million plays through the Spotify platform in six months, but only earned £12.34. Most of the artists' earnings come from touring and peripheral products such as T-shirts. So this approach may raise the artists' revenue, but by how much?
Second, streaming traffic is paramount. Like the band, BTS, has been criticized for spoiling the fairness by brushing up the traffic. Will this feature strengthen this unfairness?
Third, information cocoon. This feature is equivalent to indirectly encouraging fans to only listen to songs of their favorite artists and not to explore other people's songs. Limiting themselves to the music of only some artists leads to a single taste in music. Will it in turn bring more streaming traffic to the head artists?

５才の子どもにもわかるように説明してみよう！ - ガイ・フォークスの日
11月5日って「ガイ・フォークス」の日だよ。イギリスっていう日本から遠い島の祭りで、本当は大きい人形を作って、それを馬にロープで結んで、町を朝から夕方まで、ずっと引きずったあとに燃やすんだよ。でも今は、ただ花火を楽しむ日になったんだけどね。これは約400年前のある事件をもとにして、できたお祭りなんだ。「ガイ・フォークス」っていうのは人の名前で、彼は王様と偉い人を殺すために、イギリスの最も大事な建物に爆弾を仕掛けようとしたが、警察が捕まえたから、何も起こらずに済んだ。それで王様と偉い人の無事をお祝いして、こういうお祭りをするようになったんだよ。

Besviken tjuv lämnade klagobrev
En man i 20-årsåldern tog in sig till ett lyxhus i Södermalm och mötte en annan tjuv på huset därefter lämnade ett klagobrev om vem tjuven är.
Tjuven planerade för många veckor hur han skulle råna platsen således när han insåg att en annan tjuv var redan där blev han besviken. Husägaren var en välkänd skådespelarska med mycket smycken, tjuven hade för avsikt att stjäla hundra tusen kronors värd. Han bestämde sig att han kunde få åtminstone ett pris för polisanmälan så tog han en bild av andra tjuven i smyg och lämnade ett klagobrev för polisen. Polisen fick anmälen först och sedan analyserad husets övervakningskamerors bilder och bestämde dem att både anmälaren och den anmälde var tjuvar eller åtminstone hade för avsikt att råna. Eftersom den klagande tjuv har inte stulit blev han inte åtalad men han krävdes samhällstjänst som straff för inbrottet.

1. I have lost my appetite these days. I cannot figure out why. It could be the prescribed medications that I am taking. Or it could be because of the stress. Could it be because of the coconut milk I have been drinking? (As some say coconut oil reduces appetite.)
I used to be hungry every time and be munching on snacks between meals. But past few weeks I didn't eat any snacks all afternoon, despite that I had small amounts of meal for lunch.
But on a positive note, my IBS symptoms have gotten better, and I have lost some weight.
Losing appetite might be a good thing, after all.
2. I am watching Modern Family on Netflix these days. I love Gloria’s character. Sofia Vergara, the actress who plays the character, is so cute and bubbly. She is the life of the show. I have read somewhere on the Internet that Gloria’s character was influenced by Sofia Vergara, who actively participated in writing the script.
I am on Season 5 now, (I skipped 2-4.) and I love the chemistry between the characters. For one thing though, Luke’s (the son of the Dunphy family) acting seemed a bit awkward for a few episodes, as to the point that I lost concentration. (= I couldn’t focus on the show.^^;;)

Automatic Translation Service
Automatic translation company Rozzeta has launched the service which enables people to communicate with foreigners in the VR chat room without any miscommunication due to the difference of native languages. To promote the service, the company prohibited the employees from speaking foreign languages even when they hold a meeting with foreign clients. The company claimed "We have realized the new world in which any linguistic miscommunication doesn't exist. The wall which have divided people for several centuries has been removed from now on."
Would learning foreign languages become meaningless if automatic translation technology was developed?
I don't agree with the opinion. First of all, learning foreign languages includes knowing different cultures and viewpoints. I believe that one's personality and the way of thinking is significantly affected by what language he uses. In addition, the process of acquiring new language is exciting. Every time I encountered interesting phrases or excellent speech, I'm glad to read or listen the original one.

A Hairset
Today, I got my hair cut for the first time in three months. Three months is twice longer than the usual interval, so I'm feeling so refreshed. A barber set my hair with style after cutting, but I can't duplicate the hairstyle at home. I'm reluctant to set my hair in the morning, and if I ride a motorbike the day, my hair will be reset because of a helmet. Therefore, I seldom use hair styling products. My hair is the coolest on a day getting a haircut.

Est-ce que manger bio est vraiment meilleur pour la santé? Telle est problématique soulevée par deux articles de L'Express et de Le figaro.
On constate que une des raisons principales que la majorité des consommateurs des produits bio croient que le bio est meilleur pour la santé est l'absence de pesticides et de produits chimiques dans ces produits. D'après les études menés, les agriculteurs sont les plus directement touchés par l'impact négatif des pesticides, ce qui cause chez eux le risque d'attraper le cancer. Pourtant, on trouve également le teneur en pesticides du produit bio, même certains aliments "bio" contiennent des résidus de pesticides qui ne respectent pas la réglementation. C'est pourquoi, il est difficile de faire connaitre les consommateurs le danger de pesticides sur leur santé lors qu'il manque des études pour le prouver.
De plus, selon document 2, les faibles différences observées entre les produits issus de l'agriculture bio et les aliments ne montrent pas encore que les aliments "bio" sont un choix appropié pour la santé. D'alleurs, même si l'agriculture bio contribue à l'amélioration de la qualité physique et biologique des sols, cette pratique pourrait provoquer le manque de certains éléments minéraux qui sont nécessaires pour la production.

*ATARASHII GAKKO!
ATARASHII GAKKO! is MAD, and I love them.
The Japanese girl band(?) ATARASHII GAKKO! released “Freaks” via 88rising yesterday.
Although I always appreciated their unique concept, I didn’t actually have high hopes for their new music. It’s because I thought it would be another mediocre J-rock or old school hip-hop track that I hadn’t really vibe with before. But then, to my surprise, they brought together house and breakbeat aesthetics on “Freaks.”
All in all, I really enjoyed listening to this well-arranged track with a chugging bassline. It was delightful. In particular, the featured artist Warren Hue’s fascinating rap at the end paired perfectly with the beat, bringing the magic. (Plus, the insane performance of the girls in the music video is GOLD. They are so ridiculous.)
Anyway, it looks like ATARASHII GAKKO! doesn’t want their music to be pigeonholed into a singular style, and I’m so up for keeping an eye on whatever music they plan to present to us.

Kevin Sihwan released “Closer” yesterday, and it is a really well-made track that deserves more recognition.
So, “Closer” is a club tune that fuses upbeat future house with some electro house sounds. And I love it. If I had to put a finger on why, I would say that I love the clean, pristine FM synth sounds in the chorus and the overall soundscape of the track. Also, the complextro feels he has given in the second drop (or the bridge) is really creative and uplifting. I even feel like I've finally found a decent house track with an interesting flow for the first time in a while!
As a side note, as you can tell from his nickname, Kevin Sihwan is Korean. Not surprisingly, he has already been approved by various EDM powerhouses like Nicky Romero, Cheat Codes, Firebeatz and Ookay and worked for them as their supporting DJ. Given that he has proven his ingenious producing skills on top of his appeal as a performer/artist, I think that he will strike gold really soon. (It looks like he’s currently attending a college in the United States, working on both DJing and school.)

Daily life
Oooh, my daily life is so boring; sometimes I am in the mood to do something, sometimes I don't want to do anything. Maybe this is not the place to say that kind of thing, but it can not be helped, my improvement is the most important after all.
Anyway. When I wake up so energetic, I spend that energy translating manga, sometimes editing. I am not so good at English, but I do my best to make that those manga lovers don't be outdated of what they love.

Heute habe ich mir WandaVision geschaut. Es ist eine Serie von Disney+. Die Serie geht es um die Geschichte des Lebens von Wanda und ihre Ehemann Vision. Am Anfang war die Serie ein bisschen müde aber ab Folge 4 alle hat verändert. Ich bin gerade auf Folge 5 und immer mehr wissen wir die Antworten auf mehreren Fragen wir haben seit anfangs.

Übung
Julia kennt Erik schon lange. Sie fliegt für einigen wichtige Besprechungen in Eriks Stadt und wird eine Woche bleiben. Julia möchte Erik besuchen, aber sie hat keine Zeit. Aber eine Besprechung fällt heute aus. Julia beschloss, sich mit Erik zu treffen. Julia fährt gern Fahrrad und sie beschließt, mit dem Fahrrad zu fahren. Die Fahrt dauert etwa zwei Stunden.

Hoy empecé mi clase de sociología. Mi clase es crédito de universidad, pero no va a transferir a mi universidad. Soy un estudiante del último año en la escuela secundaria. El crédito de la universidad cerca mi casa, pero no voy a este escuela. Voy a una universidad diferente y no tome el crédito de escuelas otras. Por qué tomo el clase? Tengo que a tomar un clase para periodio quinto, mi periodio último del día. Tomo la clase de en línea. Es asíncrono y tengo que a leer dos capitúlos cada semana. También tengo que a escribir una entrada de discusión y responder a las entradas de mis compañeros de clase dos veces.

Les dangers du Net
À mon avis, il y a inévitablement plein de dangers quand on est sur Internet. Par exemple, la désinformation peut déformer notre capacité de voir la réalité clairement, ce qui conduit au théories du complot et au manque de confiance dans la science. Évidemment, tels renseignements ont des répercussions significatives sur la société entière, en plus que les individuels. En outre, il y a de plus en plus de cyberharcèlement et des autres conflits sur les réseaux sociaux, dont les utilisateurs peuvent cacher leur identité et éviter les conséquences de leur actions. En sachant cela, il est facile de voir pourquoi de nombreux parents préfèrent que ses enfants n'utilisent pas les réseaux sociaux.
Malgré ça, il est presque impossible de vivre sans Internet, particulièrement depuis le début de la pandémie, quand la plupart des écoles américaines ont été fermées. Les jeunes utilisent l'Internet pour tout : l'éducation, la socialisation, la détente, la divertissement et même les soins médicaux. On ne peut pas éviter les dangers de l'Internet sans également abandonner des éléments essentiels de la vie contemporaine. Il faudrait donc prendre conscience des dangers du monde digital en plus que les atouts et prendre des décisions prudentes en ligne.
Heureusement, il existe plusieurs solutions pour ces qui veulent éviter la cyberdépendance, le piratage et la cyberintimidation. On peut télécharger gratuitement des applications qui contrôlent le temps passé sur les médias sociaux et bloquent ces programmes après un certain temps. Bien que les pirates informatiques deviennent de plus en plus créatifs avec leur hacking, les développeurs de logiciel trouvent aussi des solutions pour protéger leur clients. Finalement, en apprenant aux enfants l'importance d'utiliser l'Internet de manière responsable, on peut réduire le risque de danger et les préparer à profiter de la technologie.
