先月二十八日、ハワイから日本来る日本航空（こうくう）の飛行機が十八時間以上（いじょう）遅れ（おくれ）ました。パイロットが飛行機に乗る前の日に酒を飲んだためです。
日本航空では、去年も同じよう（おなじよう）な問題がありました。このため、仕事で行った場所（ばしょ）で酒（さけ）を飲むことを禁止（きんし）していました。
国は十日（とおか）、日本航空に厳しく（きびしく）注意（ちゅうい）しました。そして、同じことをなくためにどうするか報告（ほうこく）するように言いました。
日本航空の社長（しゃちょう）は「ルールを守らない（まもらない）可能性（かのうせい）が高い人に仕事をさせません」と話しました。

podemos separar la obra del artista?
Salvador Dalí fue un artista muy conocido y impactante por el estilo de surrealismo, sus obras son únicos además hay exhibiciones y museos dedicado a él. Al mismo tiempo es conocido que Salvador Dalí fue racista y misoginia, por eso surge la duda si podemos separar la obra del artista?
Por un lado, la obra y el artista no se puede separar, sobre todo el arte es político. Asimismo, cada pintura, cada poéma surge de la memória y las experiencias de una persona ordinaria, por lo tanto la obra es una reflexión de esa persona, representa los pensamientos y sentidos del artista se nos da un mirada en su mente. Muchas veces el arte transmite mensajes, una forma de luchar por cambios en la sociedad o para representar su comunidad o llamar la atención a injusticias sociales. Buen ejemplos son Gordon Parks, Banksy o Basquiat.
Al contrario la obra deja margen de interpretación y el arte es para disfrutar. Así que se puede admirar una obra sin analizar y investigar sobre el artista y sus opiniones. Además no queremos entrar a una clase de política cuando entramos a una museo o cuando abrimos Spotify, sino para relajarse y aprovechar algo que simplemente nos gusta. Es decir que incluso Pablo Picasso fue misoginia sin embargo su arte ha marcado el mundo de arte y sus obras son increíbles.
En resumen ambos lados tienen argumentos importantes y por eso es una pregunta muy cuestionada. Al final sea una decisión personal y una pregunta de privilegio.
A mí, no quiero aportar a personas que muestran morales contra la humanidad más aún hoy en día hay personas cuestionadas que benefician de nuestro apoyo. Nosotros juntos tenemos que luchar contra injusticias sociales en consecuencia artistas racistas y misoginia pierden importancia.

American Alcohol Industry on Decline
The enormous alcohol industry in US had been growing , now face with the first downturn of the 21th century; alcohol decline 2.6% in 2023 an 2.8% in 2024 by volumes compare to former year with the sharpest drop in experience spirit brands section: 23% last fall.
Someone propose the reason of this decline is rising health consciousness. However research found that number of adults in 35-54 age range has been stagnated even 50-or-more years old self-identify as drinker. Only amount of young adults drinker significantly drop from 72% in 2001 to 59% in 2024. As they prefer marijuana as alternative.
This presents a big delima for government.On one hand alcohol generated $8.03 billion in alcohol tax revenue and employed directly more than 92,000 Americans. On the other hand Alcohol comsumption is related to increase in car accidents and liver disease in which burden healthcare system. In the end, one who decide fate of this industry is Gen Z. will they choose lung cancer or liver cancer.

Nachdem Taylor Swift seine Verlobung angezeigt hatte, haben viele Fans auf der ganzen Welt sehr emotional reagiert. Viele von ihnen haben gepostet Videos in den sozialen Medien in der sie schreien oder weinen von Freude. Das zeigt die Macht von den parasozialen Beziehungen – sehr starken emotionellen Beziehungen mit der Prominenten die wir persönlich nicht kennen. Wir wissen so viel von ihnen – die Namen von ihren Haustieren, die lustigen Anekdoten von ihrer Kindheit – so, dass wir haben eine Illusion, dass sie unsere Freunde sind. Aber die Psychologen warnen, dass diese Beziehungen können nicht die echten Freundschaften ersetzen.

Stranger things
Yesterday, I saw an episod of Stranger Things. I watched one of the last episod from the series. I already watched the series but I watch it again to improve my English comprension. So, in the episod, El (Eleven), one of the main character was in the lab with her "Papa" like she called him (he's not really because he just puted her from her mother's hands when she was born because she is specia and she has talent) and she losted her power so "Papa" tried to make her power come back. And for that, she had to come back in a memory which is very difficult for her because he thinks it's the only way. Her memory was with other "special" kids who was called with numbers (like 1 or 10 for example) and she was bullied by the other kids. And, she was friend with a man who showed her how to escape. But people found them and the man was actually a special kid too (he was called 1) and he killed every body in the lab. But El didn't want to kill prople so she fighted against him and she send him in another world: the upside down.

Then she said, “There will be a Slovak folk dance performance soon, so please be sure to watch it.”
I asked her, “What’s your impression of Japan?”. She answered, “It’s very hot.”

Domenica 14 settembre
Mi riposo sempre la domenica, però questa volta mi sono sovraccaricata, sbrigando troppe faccende.
Fra poco farò un pisolino e poi mi rilasserò, così da essere pronta ad affrontare una nuova settimana lavorativa.
Ho riflettuto un po' questo weekend; ho pensato al futuro e a diverse situazioni. È da qualche settimana che ho iniziato a mettere da parte le cose insignificanti e devo ammettere che il mio umore è migliorato.
Spero di continuare così, per crescere come persona.

Motivatie met Nederlands leren
Ik studeer Nederlands omdat het nodig is voor mijn dagelijkse leven, maar ik worstel met mijn motivatie om het te leren. Ik vind het niet een mooie taal en ik maak dezelfde basisfouten zo vaak dat ik de taal associeren met persoonlijk mislukking. De basisfout waarvan ik het meest worstel is met de volgorder van de werkwoorden. Vaak vraag ik me af om hoe Nederlandstaligers denken. In Engels is de woord volgorder aangelegd aan wat meest belangrijk is. In mijn mening (en ook in Engels), zijn de werkwoorden de meest belangrijk. Maar denken Nederlandstaligers dat de kleinere detailen zoals de tijd en de plaats van een evenement meer interessant dan wat er aan het gebeuren is? Als ik de gedachten of psychologie van Nederlandstaligers kan verstaan, dan misschien kan het me helpen om mijn werdvolgorder te beter verstaan en juist plaatsen.

le petit prince
Aujourd'hui j'ai fini de lire le livre « le petit prince ». Je voulais le lire pour pratiquer lire en français mais aussi parce que quand j'étais enfant, j'ai regardé une émission y basée, alors j'ai eu d'envie de lire l'original. Après avoir le lire, je peux dire que l'émission est très differente. Je l'ai vu il y a au moins dix ans, mais je pense qu'il s'agit du comme le petit prince allait aux aventures à planètes divers et là il aidait les gens par ses idées exceptionnelles. Et c'était interessant bien sûr, mais les thèmes du livre sont trop differents. Si j'ai compris tout correctement, ce que livre veut dire est que c'est absurd ce que les grandes personnes prennent au sérieux et que les choses importants sont en fait celles qu'on ne peut pas voir comme l'amitié ou l'imagination. J'ai aimé ce livre même s'il m'a un peut dérouté. Je pense que si l'avait lire quand j'étais enfante, je l'aurais adoré. Le livre est exactement ce qu'imagine quand je songe aux contes fantaisistes tellement imaginatifs qu'on ne le peut pas apprécier autant que quand on était enfant.
Mais maintenant je me demande ce que je devrais lire ensuite ?

I have a sewing machine. What I make with it is neither artistic nor something I could sell, but it is very practical. So far, I have sewn tissue box covers, scrunchies, placemats, and drawstring bags. They are sturdy enough to last for years.
Since I am not good at hand-sewing, I use the sewing machine for everything except what really has to be done by hand, such as sewing on buttons. Recently, I even used it to mend a hole in a sock.
Having a seamstress do the job or buying new items can be expensive. If you use a sewing machine, you can save both money and resources, and you can also gain a sense of accomplishment.

Zukunft oder Vergangenheit?
Ich glaube nicht, dass man mit einer Zeitmaschine in die Zukunft gehen könnte. Ich stelle mir die Zeit ein wenig wie einen Baum vor. Ich glaube, dass jede Wahl an einer Abzweigung zwischen verschiedenen möglichen Zukünften. Die Entscheidungen, die wir treffen, bestimmt welche von diesen Zukünften sich verwirklicht. Anders gesagt glaube ich nicht an EINE unvermeidbare Zukunft, die schon für alles vorgeschrieben wäre.
Mit einer Zeitmaschine könnte man nur in die Vergangenheit gehen, meiner Meinung nach. Einige Wisschenschaftler denken, man könnte in die Vergangenheit gehen, aber nicht vor der Einschaltungszeit der Maschine. Das wäre ziemlich nutzlos, oder? Wenn ich aber irgendwelche Periode besuchen könnte, dann wäre es für mich ganz faszinierend, denn ich liebe Geschichte. Ich könnte die Kheops-Pyramide zur Zeit ihrer Errichtung sehen, die Jungfrau von Orléans treffen, die Versailles-Feste zur Zeit von Ludwig XIV. sehen... Ich könnte unbekannte alte Sprachen lernen, die Geheimnisse vieler Zivilisationen entschlüsseln, denn ich wäre ein unmittelbarer Zeuge von ihrem Leben! Das wäre ganz wunderschön!
Den begegneten Völkern würde ich meine zukünftigen Kenntnisse vermitteln! Vielleicht wäre ich vergöttert! Oder als Zauberer am Scheiterhaufen verbrannt... Na ja, ein solches Abenteuer wäre riskant. Und nichts garantiert mich, dass ich in die Gegenwart zurückkommen könnte. Würde ich überhaupt dieselbe Welt finden? Die kleinste Handlung in der Vergangenheit kann die Gegenwart vollkommen verändern. Schmetterlingseffekt...
Wenn eine Zeitmaschine existierte, würde ich ohne Zweifel danach gieren... Aber vielleicht wäre es weiser, der Versuchung nicht zu erliegen!

Cидим рядом друг с другом. Семь сорок пять, самолёт до отказа набит людьми. Мой коллега сосредоточен, играет на своим мобильнике в шахматы. Я настроен философски. Слушаю какой-то подкаст, так как ничто не причиняет больше боли, чем потерянное время. Где-то через полчаса захотелось в туалет. Но пусть дети и старики, которых целый хвост собрался впереди, идут первыми. Так и надо. Я представляю себе тонущий корабль и себя, как я cхожу с этого корабля последним. Вскоре очередь исчезает и я поднимаюсь, чтобы идти.
Сделав всё, что мне было необходимо, я натянул штаны, вымыл руки, поглядел в зеркало и ушёл из места одиночества к обществу бросив размышлять о жизненных невзгодах. Улыбаясь по дороге красивым женщинам я добрался бодрым шагом до места, очень довольный теперь уже легким будущим!
Приземлились. Я поднялся как можно быстрее, впрочем, не по причине cтремиления к выходу, как другие пассажиры. Мне просто надоело сидеть и захотелось двигаться. Жизнь - это движение. Вдруг я вижу что-то неладное. Вот, на моим месте лежит совсем немаленький кусок туалетной бумаги. Чёрт! Смотрю осторожно вокруг, но к счастью, никто этого не заметил. Слава Богу! Мой товарищ только просыпается. Этот тоже ничего не увидел. Ух ты! Какая удача! Но как же так вышло? Ну, всё равно. Главное, что никто не заметил. На душе полегчало от того ещё больше.
Все пассажиры уже поднялись со своих мест. Бородатая рабочая сила, отдыхающие дедушки и бабушки - всегда вместе, распространявшая цветный аромат красота, ступают крошечными шагами, кто с чемоданчиком, кто без. За окном стоит яркий день. Да здравствуй сольнце! Да здравствуй жизнь! Кто-то трогает меня за плечо. Американец, должно быть. Наверное, потому-то я не впольне понимаю, что он говорит. Но речь идёт про туалетную бумагу. "Oh yes, the toilet paper. Yeah. I noticed that too. Thanks man. Most importantly, it's gone now. Haha!" - отвечаю я а тот улыбается, впрочем как-то не очень широко. Значит, всё таки кое-кто заметил. Хорошо, что только он один.
Все уже вышли из самолёта. Очередь остановилась в коридоре. На этот раз паспортный контроль. Позволяю всем пройти мимо, пока мой друг не догонит меня.
- "У тебя со штанов свисает туалетная бумага."
- "Да ты что!?"
Я пошарил рукой. Да, вроде так и есть. Но как же это..., ведь я... Чёрт! Я нервно начинаю скатывать длинный отрывок бумаги в кулак. "Больше метра получится" - прикидываю я, одновременно осознавая количество людей, которые это заметили. "Стыдно. Ну что ж, тут ничего уже не поделаешь. Пусть время лечит. Через два-три дня забуду." - думаю. Последние пять сантиметров бумаги не сдавались, пришлось рывком...

Bad habits
I don't understand why drinking alcohol and smoking cigarettes are normalized.
People get drunk at every celebration. Why do they do that? Is it impossible to have fun without alcoholic beverages? They say it's for relaxation. Perhaps you should figure out why you are so tense? It would make your life better, which cannot be said about constant drinking.
Smoking is the most common excuse to take a break. A bunch of people gather and go smoking. People don't perceive it as laziness! Moreover, if most of the colleagues go smoking but you don't, you often feel like a black sheep. My dean of the journalism department said that if you want to be a journalist and you don’t smoke, it's time to start because smoking helps people to get along. He assured us we would know more if we smoked with someone important. Drinking, from his point of view, is even better for communication.
I don’t work as a journalist but I still have to face normalizing these bad habits. I don't like corporate parties either.
When I was a schoolgirl and later a student, I felt uncomfortable because I didn't go to any party and I thought: "Perhaps I'm just boring?" I realized that I wasn't boring, I was just bored. It's not interesting for me at all.
I would rather do some exercises than smoke at work. I prefer training to parties. There's nothing wrong with me. I hope some day people will normalize my choice too.

Teléfonos asquerosos
Estoy intentando hablar y escribir en español bastante más. Ojalá no esté estorbando aquí en este sitio web. Me encanta el español y deseo ser muy fluido en español, igual que en inglés. Yo tengo un teléfono. Cada día que salgo, siempre recibo llamadas sobre mi teléfono. Personas siempre están tratando de hablar conmigo. Supongo que me oigo popular, pero de verdad, me enfada. Dios nos hizo para que nos enfoquemos en las cosas buenas que Él hizo. Sí, es bueno que podemos hablar con quien sea por manera de teléfono en cualquier parte del mundo a cualquier momento. ¿Pero si nos está quitando de los momentos más sagrados de la vida, qué sirve?

My Village
The village I was born and raised in is located in the mid-eastern part of China, where there is a plain—a part of the Huabei Plain.
People in my village share the same ancestors—two brothers from a nearby big village, which is about one or two kilometers to the northeast of my village. It is said that our earliest ancestor originally came from Zaolian Village in Shandong Province a long time ago.
When I was a child, my village was very small—even the name of my village included the word "small". There were only about 26 families, with roughly 160 people in total. Villagers made a living by farming.
My village was rectangular in shape and surrounded by a small moat, with an entrance to the village in the center of the south side.
A main road ran through the middle, stretching from south to north and dividing the village into two parts. Each part had four to five rows of bungalows (also from south to north), with three families in each row.
For generations, they farmed. They grew sweet potatoes, corn, sorghum, cotton, sesame, and soybeans as their means of living.
They built their own houses, made their own clothes and shoes, yet no matter how hard they worked, they could never get rich—they only managed to make ends meet.
I haven't lived in my village for years now. Every time I go back on special occasions, there are always many young people I don't recognize. Still, the living conditions in my village have improved greatly.

Un breve saggio sulla lingua giapponese (1/12)
Un breve saggio sulla lingua giapponese. (1/12)
Adoro tradurre. Dal 2013 ho tradotto circa 10 libri dal giapponese all'inglese, due libri dal giapponese al francese e un libro dall'inglese al giapponese. Non sono madrelingua francese o di giapponese, quindi ho bisogno di un po' (o molto!) aiuto dai miei amichi anonimi su internet. Dio benedica l'internet.
A volte uso le mie traduzione nella mia aula. (Insegno inglese e francese). Ne mando anche copie ai miei amichi che non sanno leggere il giapponese e a che credo loro piacerebbero il libro. Una volta ne ho mandato una copia all'autore tramite il suo editore e ho ricevuto una riposta molta bella via e-mail. Circa dieci anni fa, avevo un sogno di diventare un traduttore professionale freelance. Tuttavia, adesso non credo che quel sogno diventerà mai realtà. Quindi la traduzione sarà sempre un lavoro svolto solo per passione e senza remunerazione, un "labor of love" come si dice in inglese.
Una volta il mio amico mi ha suggerito di vendere le mie traduzioni su Amazon. Ma c'è impossibile, perché questi libri sonno tutti protetti da copyright e non ho il diritto di pubblicarli o vendere i traduzioni senza permesso.
Poi ha suggerito di tradurre dei vecchi libri i cui diritti d'autore sono scaduti. Non è una cattiva idea, ma mi piace tradurre libri che non sono ancora stati tradotti, e i classici giapponesi sono giù stati tradotti molte volte. Perché di nuovo? Pero è impossibile anche per una ragione differente.
Che ragione?
Vabbé... adesso devo parlare della lingua giapponese. E va diventare complicato ...

Los estados de México
Saludos a todos. Perdónenme si estoy escribiendo sobre algo que les parece aburrido. Como estadounidense, yo vivo en los Estados Unidos. Mi país comparte una frontera con México. En el mes pasado, yo viajé a México, y me encantó. Comí comida muy rica y me tocó ver el mar en toda su belleza. Yo tengo una meta de viajar a los 31 estados de México, incluyendo la Ciudad de México, claro. En presente, he viajado a solo cinco de los 31 estados. Esos cinco vienen siendo Michoacán, Jalisco, Guanajuato, Nayarit y Baja California. Espero que Dios me permita visitar los 26 estados que me quedan. Gracias por leer y por su ayuda.
