Expresar el alma
Hace 3 meces decidí unirme a un coro. La señora que siempre se siente a mi lado me recomendó que escuchara la música de John Ritter. Acabo de ver un video en lo que habla de lo importante que es cantar en el coro. Según él, tu expresas tu alma cuando cantas. Haber cantado en muchos grupos musicales estoy completamente de acuerdo con eso. Cantar es una manera util de expresarse, especialmente en casos en los que la palabra hablada no parece adecuada para la situación. Por eso me alegra que cante allí, a pesar de tener tantos ensayos.

10 avril 2022 - démanche
Aujourd’hui, pendant le cours de « Développement physiologie de l’enfant » sur Coursera, j’ai croisé un article académique qui était un revu littéraire sur le sens de moral et l’équité de l’enfant. Ce n’est pas la première fois que j’ai lu un article en français, mais celui-ci était difficile (je ne sais pas si c’est à cause du contenu ou de la langue). J’étais donc un peu découragée. Je sentais aussi la pression que ce cours m’a donné. Mais en fait, la raison pour laquelle j’ai pris ce cours au début est simplement pour plaisir, et je pourrais prendre aussi longtemps que je voudrais pour le terminer. J’ai donc décidé de relire cette partie demain.

long commute, I am spending a large portion of my income just going to work and coming home again. In light of this, I would like to request if I could move/transfer closer to my work. As this would not only save time but also money, which I can use on my parents monthly medications and monthly medical check-up with their doctors. This would also give a big help for me to pay off my loan from the company and also to my family finances, especially now that my family is facing certain health and financial crises.
I would also like to request consideration if I could push back the start date of my employment in Delta City until I pay off all my loans and medical bills of my parents.

Arranging Photos
There is one event that I have arranged the pictures from Aprils to next Marchs.
With the photos, I create an annual album for my kids.
It started when my first child was born in April 2014, and now I have made 7 albums for my three kids.
Today, I collected photos in my phone and my wife's one.
Almost 10 thousand pictures were in a single folder in my computer now.
It will spend a lot of time to create a new album, however it will be fun.
I hope my kids will be happy with the new album.

Mi sono accorto che correggere i testi di altri non è semplicemente "il prezzo" che si deve pagare per aver qualcun'altro corregge i miei testi. C'è valore in sè nel correggere i testi di altri, e guardare le correzioni apportato da una madrelingua ai testi di altri. A prescindere della lingua nativa del scrittore o della lingua di destinazione, ci sono errori comuni, fatti da tutti. Includono cattiva scelta delle parole, termini colloquiali inappropriati per il contesto, frasi troppo complicate. Sono colpevole di tutti questi. Studiando gli errori di altri si può imparare molto.

(What could make it sound more natural? )
In a TV programme were discussing government priorities on funding non-profit organizations linked to charity. I could note two of this organizations: institutions related to sports, as well as recreation, and health. The last ones were focused on researching about incurable diseases, such as different types of cancer and aids.
Both topics are intimately connected, as sports and some recreational activities serve to prevent cancer, generally speaking, and researching to find a cure to it. In this sense, politicians often have to deal with making a decision between two charity causes, both of which are extremely useful for society.
In my humble opinion, it is not necessary to spend money into promoting sports or recreational activities, in our country at least, since to a greater or lesser extent, we are privileged of public facilities aimed at this purpose. Moreover people do often not hesitate, for example, to pay to play their favourite sport in better conditions. In this regard, I am partially agree with one of the participant's opinions shows in the debate, who stressed the importance of health beyond sports practice.
As I see it, more efforts should be done in medical researching, for which there is no choice but to do it through a proper funding to charity organizations. Scientists spend so many years of their lives to achieve the high academic profile mandatory for this position, and they are usually underpaid in exchange for it. What it is rather worst if it is taken into account how important it is this in many people live, as I heard in the TV discussion.
In conclusion, more support should be given to help eradicate health problems which will not be solved in another way, unlike what it happens with sports and related non-profit institutions.

I think I’m in love with my guy best friend
I think I’m in love with my guy best friend, but I don’t think he feels the same way. What can I do to make these feelings go away?
Maybe you can try to get with him even if you think he doesn't feel the same way as you. The point is that you can not control yourself for stopping loving him when you haven’t had a try for making him fall in love with you. You can’t go away from these feelings if you don’t feel his indifference because people can’t stop loving a person without hurting themselves.
That’s why I encourage you to try to use some tricks to get with him. Anything is impossible. Don’t be timid, you are more attractive than you think. In further, I have three suggestions about how to get his heart for you:
1. Don’t say “I love you.” directly to him. A man always loves a girl he gets harder, you can’t keep attractive for him if you just do that.
2. Setting a mindset in which you will get his heart in the end because every success arises from a positive and tiny attitude.
3. Loving yourself every time. Self-love is the best tool to help you keeping mood well. Don’t think life and things are bad even if you are failed in this love game. Just being optimistic every time.

今年の夏からアメリカ史上初の黒人女性最高裁判事は就任します。ケタンジ•ジャンソンの起用は最近議会上院で承認されました。ジャンソン判事は1月引退を表明したブライヤー判事の後任です。最高裁判事は9人に定数しているのでジャンソン判事はブライヤー判事が引退する後から就任することができます。
ジャンソン判事の起用はアメリカの黒人に大事です。特に黒人女性に大事です。歴史的に黒人の声はアメリカの政府と裁判でよく聞こえませんでした。そしてジャンソン判事の起用は黒人に力になります。もちろん、社会の不公平なことが全部なくなることではありません。それでもジャンソン判事を通じて黒人の声がちょっと聞こえるになります。

Mon premier emploi
Je n'ai pas d'éxperience avec du travail. C'est dur pour moi de trouver un travail ou j'habite. Heureusement, l'autre jour une veille amie de moi a cherché en ligne d'ouvrier pour un grand évènement, qui a lieu d'une semaine. Quand j'ai vu ça je moi immédiatement proposer. Aujourd'hui c'est le premier rendez-vous avant l'évènement et ce n'est pas sûr s'ils me prendront. Je suis un peu nerveux mais j'espére que tout va bien.

Correr como deporte
Considero que correr es la mejor forma de hacer ejercicio. No solo refuerza el sistema cardiaco, sino es una actividad accesible y económica que no requiere una membresía a un gimnasio. Pero ojo, como es el caso de varias cosas, es posible correr de exceso y causar unos tipos de daños. A aquellos que practica este deporte a menudo las heridas más comunes ocurren en las rodillas y los pies. Mi meta es correr una vez a la semana, pero la verdad es que a veces resisto hacerlo. Cuando pienso en el esfuerzo que hacen mis pulmones mientras estoy corriendo, me genera angustia de modo que aplazo hacer esta actividad lo más que puedo. Sin embargo, mi concienca también me obliga hacerla pese a que mi mente inventa excusas porque entiendo que es saludable. Además me siento mal cuando veo a otras personas corriendo porque también debería hacerlo. Ayer, tras unas semanas sin correr finalmente me animé a ponerme los zapatos y salí para dar un vuelta corriendo.

Myth of Ekho and Narcissus
You have probably heard the words "echo" and "narcissist," they both come from characters in Greek mythology, Ekho and Narcissus.
If you see someone who puts themselves first or has a strong sense of self-importance, you may call them narcissistic.
When you stand in front of a mountain and shout, you hear the reflection of your voice, that is an echo.
There is an interesting myth behind these words and you are about to hear it.
Ekho was an Oread or mountain nymph who resided on Mount Cithaeron, the mount of destiny.
Zeus was attracted to nymphs and often visited them for ... carnal relations.
Hera, Zeus' wife, was suspicious of what her husband was up to with all these nymphs, and followed him one day to spy on him.
Zeus ordered Echo to distract Hera by engaging her in a long conversation (which gave Zeus the opportunity to escape back home to Mount Olympus).
Echo did so, but when Hera found out that she had been protecting Zeus, she punished Echo by depriving her of all speech of her own:
From now on, Echo could only repeat the words of others.
Sometime after being cursed, a young man named Narcissus came near the mountain with his friends. Narcissus was a beautiful young man. She immediately fell in love with him, so she followed him quietly. The more she looked at the young man, the more she longed for him. Although she wished with all her heart to call Narcissus, Hera's curse kept her from doing so.
During the hunt, Narcissus was separated from his companions and called out, "Is someone there?" and heard the nymph repeat his words. Frightened Narcissus answered the voice, "Come here," again nymph answered him the same. When Narcissus saw that no one had emerged from the woods, he concluded that the owner of the voice must be running away from him and called out again "This way, we must come together." Ekho took this as a reciprocation of her love and ecstatically agreed, "We must come together!"
In her joy, Echo rushed to Narcissus, ready to throw her arms around her beloved Narcissus, however, He was appalled and spurning her, exclaimed, "Hands off! May I die before you enjoy my body. All Echo could say in reply was, 'Enjoy my body,' and having done so she fled, scorned, humiliated and ashamed.
Despite the harshness of his rejection, Echo's love for Narcissus only grew. Poor Echo. She never stopped loving him.
Narcissus did not care. He was too obsessed with himself.
One day, tired of hunting, he stopped to drink at a clear, pristine pond to drink. As he leaned over, he saw the reflection of a beautiful young man and was filled with desire.
As he leaned forward with his lips pursed, the one he loved raised his lips to him. When Narcissus smiled, he smiled. When Narcissus cried, he cried. And when Narcissus tried to embrace him, by dipping his arms in the water, the reflection broke apart.
Finally Narcissus realized that he was burning with love for no one but himself, but he still could not tear himself away. He cried and tore his clothes and beat his bare chest. He knew he was growing weak, and yet he remained at the edge of the pool with his beloved reflection, waiting for death.
Echo watched him the whole time. When Narcissus looked into the pond one last time and said, "Oh marvellous boy, I have loved you in vain, farewell," Echo also cried out in chorus, "Farewell."
After his death, the inhabitants of the House of Shadows left his body as they prepared his funeral pyre. When they returned, he was gone, leaving in his place a flower which named after him narcissus flower or adaffodil .
Echo mourned him,and eventually she too began to waste away. Her beauty faded, her skin shriveled, and her bones turned to stone. Today, all that is left of Echo is the sound of her voice.
If you go up a mountain now and shout anything, you will hear Echo's voice.
Today we use this couple’s names to describe physical and psychological phenomena. Echo for describing a sound created by the reflection of sound waves from a surface back to the listener.
Narcissus has become synonymous with self-love, with the adjective ‘narcissistic’ and the noun ‘narcissism’ being coined to describe the sort of behaviour which he himself exhibited. Psychology defines Narcissistic Personality Disorder (NPD) as a mental condition in which people have an exaggerated sense of their own importance, a deep need for excessive attention and admiration, dysfunctional relationships, and a lack of empathy for others.
the story of Echo and Narcissus strikes us as quintessential Greek myth, but
in the original greek version of narcicus myth there is no mention of Ekho, anctually introduction of Echo into the story of Narcissus is the invention of a Roman poet, Ovid, in his book "Metamorphoses".
The tragic death of Narcissus made him a recurring figure in art and literature.
The novel The Picture of Dorian Gray by Oscar Wilde is in many ways a modern retelling of Narcissus myth. Dorian Gray and Narcissus both were too self involved with themselves and fell in love with their beauty and youth , which lead them to death of their own and those who loved them.
The myth of narcicuss was also a source of inspiration for many painters from Caravaggio to Dally.
Ekho and Narcicus represent two extremes of human attitude towards their individuality. And as always the golden rule is defined in opposition to the extremes: To live happily, you must define your identity, your self, as an individual, not being obsessed with it to the degree of narcissism , nor denying yourself completely , echoing the thoughts and words of others.

Spaniards #1
Keep in mind that Spaniards consider personal charm and first impression immensely important. The company is being judged through the prism of a representative. Thus, demeanor and appearance are no less significant than the quality of the product itself.
Clothing is related to this as it creates social status in the eyes of Spaniards, similarly to a house or a car. They have a liking for classic elegance without significant eccentricities. It is a matter of course for men to have a perfectly cut suit made of first-class fabric with clean shoes. Women show up mostly in classy costumes on official occasions. In the autumn and winter, they like to present their expensive fur coats. Perfect appearance means impeccable make-up and clothing, which is typical even for informal matters such as shopping for both men and women.
One has to be more conscientious than usual during packing their luggage. Negligent clothing can cast doubt on the firm's condition or one's position in the company.

Liebe Huyen,
wie geht’s? Ich hoffe, es geht dir und deiner Familie gut. Letzten Monat habe ich an der VHS meiner Stadt einen Tanzkurs besucht. Obwohl ich die ganze Woche arbeiten muss, möchte ich am Wochenende trotzdem etwas unternehmen, um mich zu entspannen. Deshalb habe ich mich entschieden, Tanzen zu lernen. Jeder auf dem Kurs ist nicht nur lustig, sondern freundlich. Darüber hinaus erzählen wir uns auch von Arbeits- oder Familiengeschichten und wir haben zusammen geübt.
