Doctor House: Good morning, Ms Oliver. What seems to be a problem?
Patient: I’m not feeling well. I’ve been having such a thirst for several weeks, so I’ve been drinking lots of water and been urinating very often, particularly at night. I’ve also being very tired every day, even in the morning after 8 hours of sleep. My trousers became too big for me, so it looks like I’m loosing weight. But I’ve been eating much more as usual during past weeks. I’ve always had an excellent vision, but now I’m afraid that something causes blindness or serious loss of my vision. Doctor, what is happening with me?
Doctor House: I’m afraid, these are the main symptoms of diabetes. We will do a urine test and will check your blood glucose level. It usually takes about 1 to 2 days for the results to come back. We will call you back and arrange your next visit.

Meine Tochter
Im September leztes Jahres hat meine Frau mich angerufen, als ich auf der Arbeit war, und gesagt (mitgeteilt?), dass sie schwanger ist. Es war eine Überraschung für uns beide, trotzdem haben wir uns gefreut.
Die Schwangerschaft war sehr schwierig für meine Frau, denn sie Gesundheitsprobleme hatte. In ersten Monaten Schwangerschafts musste sie dreimal dringend ins Krankenhaus mit einem Krankenwagen fahren. Im November und December musste ich eine lange Geschäftsreise machen und meine Frau blieb ganz allein für die Zwei Monate. Nach diesen schweren Zeiten waren wir wieder zusammen.
Im Mai war meine Tochter geboren, aktiv und gesund. In ersten drei Monaten hat uns die Schwiegermutter geholfen. Sie hat uns gelernt, wie man das Kind badet, einkleidet und ernährt.
Die Tochter schlief nicht gut in den ersten Wochen, und wir alle mussten sie Tag und Nacht auf unseren Händen zu tragen.
Jetzt, nach fünf Monaten von der Geburt, schläft und isst sie gut. Sie mag mit ihren Spielzeugen spielen. Sie hat schon einen Freund, die Katze. Wenn sie die Katze sieht, lächelt sie. Wenn sie weint, die Katze kommt rüber und schnüffelt sie.

Q: Where do you live ?
A: I live in Miyazaki where the Miyazaki prefectural office are located.
It takes about 20minutes by bus from here. It's not so far from my workplace.
The reason why I choose this area for my residence are two.
One is that it is located between my workplace and my wife's workplace.
The other is it is very convenient.
There are so many shops nearby such as grocery store, convenience store and pharmacy.
I live in a rented apartment on the second floor. It faces the street and is noisy. If I have much money, I would move to more quiet emvironment.

Une rencontre heureuse
Hier, nous sommes allés au restaurant. C’était un restaurant qui a servi des plats de fruits de mer. Le restaurant n’était pas complet. Il y avait une famille à côté de nous, et c’était évident que c’était les grands-parents, leurs fils et deux petits-enfants. Il me semble qu’elles ont environs vingt ans.
C’était aussi évident qu’ils célébraient un anniversaire, mais je n’étais pas sûre de qui. Tout à coup, l’un d’eux m’a demandé si je prendrais une photo d’eux. J’étais très heureuse de la faire et j’ai pris plusieurs photos. Le fils m’a dit que c’était l’anniversaire de son père et ils voulaient des photos de l’occasion. Le groupe de famille était un group joyeux.
Alors, au cours du repas nous avons commencé à parler et j’ai découvert que les grands-parents habitaient dans cette ville, leurs fils habitait à Barcelone. Ils ne se voient pas souvent. Le fils travaillait pour une compagnie aérienne et ses deux filles habitaient avec leur mère à Madrid. Toutes les deux étaient étudiantes à l’université.
La grand mère était espagnole et toutes la famille parlait anglais, espagnole et français : leur langue maternelle était français. J’étais jalouse car je ne parle qu’anglais et cette famille était multilingues. Je ne dois pas être étonnée car en Europe beaucoup de gens parlent plusieurs langues.
C’était génial de discuter avec eux, d’entendre leurs histoires et de partager nos histoires. C’était vraiment une rencontre heureuse et ça m’a beaucoup plu : c’était une soirée très agréable.

_Guerra e Paz_
Este mês comecei a ler um livro chamado _Guerra e Paz_. É muito longo. Já li mais de 20 capítulos, mas há muito mais. Tolstói escreveu este livro. A história é sobre Napoleão e a guerra entre ele e outros países em Europa. Eu acho que muitos personagens deste história é parecido comigo. O que os personagens pensar e fazer é muito parecido com pessoas real.

Dancing
I started dancing in this summer.
It's very good to do exercise, specially in these times, due to covid 19.
You see, people stay in their homes without moving and that's bad for the body, "what you don't use will degenerate" they say.
However it was so hard to do it well, like languages, I though I was doing it right but when I saw how it was and all of my mistakes I was so embarrased.
So I did it over and over again and now I think I became better but there's a lot of things that I need to improve yet.

Le basket
Ce soir, mon NBA équipe préfère, les Lakers de Los Angeles, va commencer leur saison. Malheureusement, je ne crois pas qu'ils seront bon cette saison. On a un nouveau entraîneur, et des nouveaux jouers aussi. Et c'est exitant, mais à mon avis pas assez. La saison dernier était affreux pas seulement car l'équipe était mauvais, mais parce que la qualité de basket était médiocre.
Je sais qu'ils ne sont pas bon cette année. Mais, j'espère que au moins, ils sont amusant à regarder. On va voir.

Challenge, Day 18
Today was the eighteenth day of my English challenge. I spoke to a friend over Skype in English. we was talking of the meaning about "as long as" and "as soon as". Then, we spoke also in Spanish and she corrected me tow sentences. Despite I made a few mistakes. I do a lot of progresse in English, in order to do this, I try to be involved with language as much as I can. I am really proud of myself. Now, I am sure to reach my goals.

Prueba de omniciencia
Aunque vengo de un medio popular, tengo un Master. Y cuando la gente lo sabe, a veces sucede algo extraño: al modo de ver de muchos, este papelito me hace un chico inteligente, si no un genio; por supuesto, un chico inteligente debe comportarse inteligentemente todo el tiempo. No tiene el derecho de tener falta de sabiduría, y tiene que saber todo sobre todos los temas. Sólo puedo decepcionar a la gente que pensa así, porque no soy Dios, ¡(todavía) no he logrado a la omniciencia!
Por tanto, tengo que explicar que «ser un graduado» y «ser inteligente» son dos cosas distinctas. Un diploma sólo confirma los conocimientos necesarios para obtenerlo. Un día, en la autoescuela, me dijeron: "no les enseña a conducir, les enseña a aprobar un examen", y me parece que la misma lógica se aplica a todas las escuelas. En el último año de la escuela secundaria, los alumnos franceses hacen lo que se llama el "bachotage", es decir, se pasan el tiempo entrenándose, una y otra vez, para lograr el baccalauréat. Este año fue uno de los màs intelectualmente steriles de toda mi vida. De hecho, aprendí casi nada.
Estoy de acuerdo que aprender no se resume a acumular mecánicamente conocimientos. Hay que analizar, comparar, buscar informaciones, en pocas palabras: hacer trabajar su inteligencía. Sin embargo, no significa automáticamente «ser inteligente», y sobre todo, ¡no significa que alguien sepa todo! Además, todos pueden hacer el tonto a veces, aun los genios. Errare humanum est.
Muchos que non cursaron estudios superiores están criados con la idea que serían idiotas, y pienso que esta «cosa extraña», de que hablaba al inicio, proviene de esta sentimiento de inferioridad. Quizás sea relacionado a los medios populares también, porque en los medios acomodados, los jovenes suelen cursar estudios superiores. Es normal, por tanto, supongo que no están percibidos de manera especial. No sé. De todas maneras, siempre me esforzaré de explicar la diferencía entre "graduado" y "inteligente", porque me parece que el amalgama tiene consecuencias desafortunadas.

Prova di omniscenza
Sebbene venga da un ambiente popolare, ho un Master. Ed a volte, quando la gente lo sa, succede una cosa un po' strana: agli occhi di molti, questa cartina fa necessariamente di me un ragazzo intelligente, anzi un genio, ed ovviamente, un ragazzo intelligente deve comportarsi intelligentemente tutto il tempo. Non ha il diritto a mancare di saggezza, deve sapere tutto su tutti i soggetti. Naturalmente, non sono Dio, non sono (ancora) giunto all'omniscenza, perciò, solo posso deludere la gente che pensa così.
Di conseguenza, devo spiegare che "essere diplomato" ed "essere intelligente" sono due cose distinte. Un diploma solo sancisca le conoscenze necessarie per ottenerlo. Un giorno, un istruttore di guida mi ha detto: "non vi insegniamo a guidare, vi insegniamo a passare un essame". Penso che la stessa logica si applichi alla scuola. Nell'ultimo anno del liceo, gli studenti francesi fanno ciò che si chiama "bachotage": allenarsi ancora e ancora per ottenere il baccalauréat. Quest'anno fu il più intelletualmente sterile di tutta la mia vita.
Sono d'accordo che studiare non si riassume ad accumulare mecanicamente conescenze: si deve analizzare, paragonare, ricercare, in breve, fare lavorare l'intelligenza. Tuttavia, non significa automaticamente "essere intelligente", e soprattutto, non significa sapere tutto! Inoltre, chiunque può comportarsi come un coglione, fosse un genio. Errare humanum est.
Molti che non hanno fatto studi superiori sono allevati con l'idea che sarebbero idioti, e credo che la "cosa strana" di cui parlavo all'inizio provenga da questo sentimento di inferiorità. Forse è anche legato agli ambienti popolari, perché negli ambienti agi, è normale che i giovani studino all'università, allora i diplomati non sono percepiti in modo particolare. In ogni caso, mi sforzerò sempre di spiegare la differenza tra "diplomato" e "intelligente", perché questo amalgama ha conseguenze spiacevoli.

Lo que he hecho hoy y lo que haré manana
Para ser honesto, hoy ha sido muy aburrido. Voy a ir a Peru en enero y por eso he tenido que completar tantos formulares sobre mi pasaporte, mi visa y mis boletos. No obstante encontrar un hotel o pensar de que voy a hacer cuando estoy allí.
Cuando vuelvo de Peru, me gustaría hacer una pasantía antes de volver a mis estudios. Así que los plazos de solicitar para tan prácticas son muy pronto, he tenido que completar algunas entrevistas virtuales y otras evaluaciones.
Por desgracia, manana no será diferente. Aunque, voy a salir en la noche para jugar juegos de mesa a la casa de mi amigo. Quizás me eborache, ?quién sabe?
Espero tener algo interesante de decir en la próxima tarea, ya veremos.

Lettre au maire

Cher Monsieur le maire :
En tant que retraité et voisin du centre-ville de Montpellier, je vous écris afin de vous féliciter pour la nouvelle politique de route que vous nous avez rapprochée.
La communauté du troisième âge reconnaît bien les difficultés que cette décision vous a engendrée et bien entendu, les jeunes, eux, sont peu satisfaits avec celle-là, mais c'est grâce à ces autobus que nous allons pouvoir nous mobiliser partout la ville avec plus de l'aise dorénavant.
Depuis la mise en place de la piétonnisation du centre-ville il y a quelques années déjà, la qualité de l'air a beaucoup évoluée mais en revanche on n'a pas pu en profiter lorsqu'il n'y avait pas aucun moyen de nous déplacer au-delà de nos quartiers immédiats pour ceux d'entre nous qui avons des problèmes de mobilité.
Nous sommes certains que vos adversaires envers cette décision verront le jour et bientôt ils profiteraient, eux aussi, de cette liberté.

Finding your true happiness
Hi there, dear reader who's correcting me, I hope this could help you to be more happy.
As Aristotle concluded, people is always looking for happiness, everything we want is valued for how happy I'll be if I get/do this.
We can not be happy by justh conciously searching for it.
Today that hasn't changed, we are searching for hapiness, and we didn't notice that though.
The problem is ¿where are we looking for happiness?
You can see, as humans we tend to adapt and when we seek happiness out with extrinsic rewards
(which means someting external like fame, money, appreciation, etc. we adapt to that reward, for example:
When I seek fame out on Instagram, and my followers increase I tend to adapt, now I don't care if I had 4 more followers and I want more.
That's called hedonic adaptation, and as long as you get more followers you'll not be happier.
So ¿what really makes you happy? ¿How can you solve that problem?
You can have hedonic resilience just doing things for its own sake, this works because if your resources to be happy are yourself you can be happy anytime, anywhere.
Two other solutions:
- Be grateful, use this formula: whenever I complain at something I will think in something that I'm grateful for.
-Negative imagining: Imagine you loose all your important things, persons, etc.

Важно ли идти на университете?
Каждый молодой человек спрашивает себя: что делать после школы? Есть выбор между работой, спортом, путешествами, военной службой, наркотиками или университетом. Почему выбрать университет? Значит ты не будешь зарабатывать деньги за долгое время и после этого тебя предется работать до старости. Но все-таки будешь изучать много полезных вещ и будешь узнать как жить само на себя. И знание – это мощь. Но если хочешь иметь детьи, тогда лучше начинать как можно раньше.
