Blood Donation
The other day, the Japanese Red Cross Blood Center sent me a postcard to request for blood donation. The blood in stock seems not enough. I checked online where and when blood donations were held. I found that it was held in front of the nearest station today, so I went there to donate blood.

I felt sick today
A week before, I had a cold. It wasn't a heavy one, but ,given the current situation, I was very concerned. I took a test and, luckly, I hadn't COVID. That time was the first time I felt sick in the whole year, so wasn't a great time for me.
Today I went out looking for a new pairs of shoes. When I returned I had a heavy headache. To be honest, I'm still in pain. I hope this is nothing.

Deng Xiaoping
The most important man in modern China history , Deng Xiaoping, had great difficulty in restoring US-China relationship. Following in Mao’s footsteps, he highly valued US-China relation. However he bursted with anger just several days before the announcement of US-China diplomatic establishment because the US side had mistakenly thought Deng had agreed an an important issue. The US had wanted to continue to sell weapons to Taiwan which was strongly opposed by Deng. Although Deng was very annoyed by this, he had to compromise because he need the American’s help to defend China against the Soviet Union and to open and reform China.

N°10 Les parfums
Un petit flacon de parfum est simplement un mélange de l'eau et des produits chimiques, rien que plus. Mais, des marques comme Chanel, Jo Molane... elles sont vendues cent fois plus que leur coût. Enquêtons-nous pourquoi les femmes les adorent tellement !
D'abord, ce flacon de liquide est un état d'esprit, une personnalité, et selon l'odeur de le porter, on affiche sa singularité. même qu'on porte le même parfum que l'autre, la réaction peut être totalement différente. Comme le vous savez, les humaines sont capables de nouer un lien fort entre une odeur particulaire avec une personne, un lien ou un événement. Donc, le parfum me rappelle souvent des mémoires.
Ensuite, le haut prix de parfum peut être expliqué par le temps conscaré dans l'invention et l'essai, mais aussi la légende derrière ce flacon. L'histoire et l'écart d'esprit de ces grandes marques se reflètent dans le prix.
Pour moi, ça désormais ne vaut pas la peine d'investir dans le monde de parfum parce que je n'ai pas le besoin de dépendre d'un parfum pour montrer ma singularité et je suis assez confiante d'être moi-même sans les odeurs de synthèses et les marques. Mais ça m'amuse vraiment de découvrir quel parfum on porte.

Aujourd'hui je suis très fatiguée....
J'ai passé toute la journée assisse devant l'ordinateur pour répondre mes épreuves de traduction.
Je dois l'envier à la professeure cette semaine et je n'ai pas encore fini la deuxième partie.... Je vais devenir plus folle....
Et non oublions pas que je vais commencer un deuxième cours de traduction dans 5 jours.
Je suis sortie pendant 2 heures et je ne sais plus quelle langue je parle ou même qui je suis.... j'ai écouté quelque chose en espagnol, en italien, en français, en anglais ... et une chanson en turc !!!!! Sans mentionner que je suis été obligé de lire un chapitre d'un livre en anglais....

La seconda cosa che sto cercando da un pezzo è dove potrei scaricare il film "Luca" di Disney in italiano. L'ho trovato su un sito ma richiedono di registrarsi per poter scaricarlo. Non so la precedenza di questo sito... e se è fishing? Non ne ho fiducia....
E la terza cosa che non riesco a trovare da molti anni è la quarta stagione della serie Le tre Rose di Eva, dato che ho già visto le prime tre molti anni fa... penso che dovrò rivederla tutta, perché non mi ricordo bene il finale della terza stagione... =(
Madre mia... adesso un gatto maledetto sta miagolando fuori della casa... Non faccio male a nessun essere vivente ma non mi piacciono questi animali...
Oggi mi sono resa conto che sto invecchiando. Ascoltavo sulla radio francese una canzone di Laura Pausini molto famosa. Poi hanno messo Nek con Laura non c'è.... mi ricordo quando l'ho sentita per la prima volta. Il venditore di un negozio di CD mi l'ha consigliato di ascoltare la sua canzone. Ero a Bariloche in Argentina e l'ho sentita un po' in italiano e un po' in spagnolo.
Ero anche su Buenos Aires quando è uscito il film Titanic. L'ho guardato due volte in un cinema di una via molto famosa della città. Mi ricordo bene come chiacchieravano le argentine mentre io era muta perché non parlavo una parolina in spagnolo, anche se lo capiva. Che vergogna!
Allora.... questa è una giornata di nostalgia per me e di silenzio da parte di chi sta leggendo, per favore. Non è necessario imaginare quanti anni ho.... =( =)

Job presentation stereotypes.
In many cases you cannot show yourself in a sincere way in work interview. The interviewers look at your clothes, the way you carry yourself, how you speak . They want a specific profile that fill-full their expectations, you know that and you give to them what they want, because you want success in your career and get your dream job.
Interviewers in charge selection process have different strategies or methods, but some of them are useless or outdated, because you can find them on the internet and you learn how used them. They have an old perception about clothes or tattoo linked to work. It is truth that your clothes speak about you, but that does not mean that formal or informal presentation makes you better professional or person. For example, the biggest corrupts are sophisticated and well look.
A lot of good workers or people lose the opportunity to show their capacities for superficial things. Maybe this kind of “weird” people are the most honest about, how are them and what they want. They are the kind of people that needs every organization and society for building something special with creativity and different perceptions of the world ,it is giving dynamism to the environment.
Are the clothes, the look, the posture enough for concluding someone capacity for a job?

Quisiera describirte un par cosas que pasaron en la semana pasada.
Mi madre y yo volamos a Barcelona para 4 días. La ciudad es magnífica. La nos gusta mucho.
Especialmente la catedral de Antonio Gaudí, la Sagrada Familia. Fuimos también a Camp Nou, el estadio de FC Barcelona. Fue muy interesante. El billete costó 29 euros. La excursión duró cerca 2 horas.
Tú debes visitarlo próxima vez tú estas en Barcelona.

Ein paar Gedanken über "The Sea Wolf"
Ich habe vor vielen Jahren "The Sea Wolf" von Jack London gelesen und es hat einen bleibenden Eindruck hinterlassen. Die Geschichte erzählt von einem intellektuellen, Van Weyden, der von einem Schiff gerettet wird, nachdem er bei einem Schiffswrack fast gestorben ist. Obwohl er zunächst dankbar dafür war, dass sein Leben gerettet wurde, erkennt er schnell, dass das Schiff, das ihn gerettet hat, kein gewöhnliches Schiff ist. "The Ghost" ist ein brutaler Ort, der von einem brutalen Mann namens Wolf Larsen befehligt wird. Obwohl er von anderen Besatzungsmitgliedern anfangs verpönt wird, da er ein gebildeter Mann ist und noch nie in seinem Leben gearbeitet hat, schafft er es, sich anzupassen und sogar ein oder zwei Dinge von Wolf Larsen und seiner brutalen Art zu lernen. Als das Schiff eine andere Person rettet, eine Schriftstellerin, die der Protagonist kennt, wird die Geschichte dramatischer, da der Protagonist entschlossen ist, sie vor dem Wolf zu schützen. Dann zeigt sich, dass Wolf auch so etwas wie ein Intellektueller ist, er ist sozusagen ein Autodidakt und ein eifriger Nietzsche-Leser. Der große Kontrast ist, dass Wolf nur an das Gesetz des stärksten glaubt, das ihn zu Gräueltaten führt, während Van Weyden immer noch ein moralisches Pflichtgefühl behält und mitfühlend ist. Das Wissen um die Natur der Wolfs Lebensphilosophie macht das Ende viel tragischer, da Wolf Larsen blind und gelähmt endet, alles andere als der Übermensch, den er so sehr schätzte. Ich glaube, Jack London war kein Nietzsche-Fan.

Brother Daxiong (part three)
I remember deeply that there was one time he praised me with big improvement, and told me what my speed was. Furthermore, he encouraged me to swim in the deep pool. I told him that I was so afraid. He said that he sould accompany me by my side. I looked at the pool and there were so many people, then I took a deep breath and swam. He swam slowly to adapt my speed and led the way. I wasn't afraid any more and felt so content that I got such a nice person to teach me how to swim.
I wanted to learn swimming when I was a child. My father hold my hands to let me float. I was so scared that I always sank. He soon became very impatient and asked me to play in the shallow water so he could go on swimming.
So Daxiong behavioured more like a father to me, which kind I desired. In a sense, we were strangers to each other. But he gave me so many attention and kindness that my father never did. And I am unable to do the same things to a stanger like him. So I really felt lucky to meet him.
As I left the city, I have never seen him again. Wish him all the best.

Diary
I had planned to go to the nursing home today with my mom and grandpa to see my grandma, but the nursing home doesn't allow outsiders, probably because of Covid.
I haven't get the vaccine because the Chinese vaccines don't seem to work for Covid-19's Delta variant. The latest outbreak in China was due to the Delta variant infecting staff at the Nanjing airport who had got the Chinese vaccine.
However, my mom asked me to go with her to get the vaccine some day because the government had previously issued a notice stating that people who are not vaccinated cannot go to public places such as schools, banks, libraries, etc. The QR code will be checked when we enter these places. The QR code for healthy body is green and the border of the QR code for vaccinated people will be gold.
I was hesitant to get the vaccine because there has been no documented adverse reactions to the Chinese vaccine. Looking forward to the mRNA vaccine entering China sooner.

Meine erste Woche in Deutschland
Ich mochte meine Deutsche Sprache verbessern und so habe ich entschieden, dass ich nach Deutschland für drei Wochen fahren werden. Ich bin hier sechster Tag und es ist super. Meine Hostfamilie ist sehr Liebling. Reinhard, Sabine und Max ihr Sohn. Ich arbeite hier und dafür besorge ich essen und ein Zimmer hier. Es ist sehr gut veil ich kann hier Deutsche sprechen kostenlos. Abe ich habe eine Probleme, dass ich Angst zu sprechen habe, weil ich nicht so gut in Deutsche Sprache bin. Ich werde Deutsche sprechen starten heute beim Abendessen. Wünsch mir Glück.

A talking dog

Me: Hey dog! Good doggy~! Good doggy~!
(I try to stroke the dog and the dog bites me.)
Oh shit! Bad dog! I was just trying to pat you! What's the matter with you!
Wait a minute. Aren't you a Lily's dog? Where is she?
Dog: She's taking a shower in her house.
She caught me while I was watching a tv and tried to wash my body.
But I'm afraid of water, so I ran away.
Me: Oh my god! The dog is talking! Unbelievable!
Dog: Yup, It's believable since you're talking with me!
Some dogs can speak human language but most of them
hate human being, so they don't get to talk to people easily.
Me: I see. I had no idea!
So, you ran away from her because you're scared of water?
I wouldn't do that, because I'd love to take a shower with her.
To be honest, I'm interested in your owner,
so I've always wished I were you so that I could live with her.
Dog: Like I said, I'm scared of water.
Besides, I don't normally look at her during the shower because her shape is
not that good as you probably have imagined.
She wears fake bras!
Me: Oh my holy mama.......!
(Speechless for a while.)
I'm flabbergasted.
I think that borders on cheating!
We should stop the cheating from women from all around the world!

Travel Abroad
I really like to travel abroad.
Before getting the airplane, I am filled with anticipation.
I hope for nice scene, good atmosphere and people's life style there.
During traveling, I always make good memories and take pictures as many as I can.
Everything there is always a load of fun.
I usually buy souvenirs which I can reminisce about the memories.
And I also buy some gifts for my family and my friends.
After returning home, I feel wistful and write in my diary and my blog about those days.
Because of Covid 19, I can't go anywhere now.
I hope the pandemic comes to an end soon.

I once tried booking a few lessons with native English speakers. When I took my lessons I couldn't even speak a single word, and I often got stuck when I was eager to express myself, although I could understand most of the teacher's speaking, but what is the use of that? What I really want is to speak English out loud! I thought all the lessons were a waste, so I stopped booking lessons. After a period of time, I still couldn't find a way to solve it. I had to book lessons again, but I needed to choose the cheapest one, and for a long time, at least for a year. This decision was made when I was desperate with my spoken English.

A Five Minutes Presentation - Introducing Notion
(1) Good morning. Some of you guys might already be using Notion. But I found some people don’t know about it. So I’m going to introduce Notion.
(2) In the first part, I’m going to introduce Notion’s basic features and useful tips for students like us.
And in the second part, I’m going to show you how I use Notion, especially for language learning.
(3) What is Notion?
Basically, Notion is a note-taking software. Notion has rich features that help you to organize your work or project. So it works like a memo, a recipe book, a calendar, a to-do list, a tracker, whatever you name it.
Based on the note-taking feature, it can be a team collaboration tool. You don’t need to use all the programs like Google Docs, Evernote,etc. You just need Notion to organize your team work and share it with your coworkers.
(4) Basic features
Notion has tons of great features, so I couldn’t bring them all on one slide, but these are my favorite features. First Notion has a clear and direct interface. So it makes it easy to use for users. Also, you can put cute emojis on the title of the page and change the view of the database.
Second, various templates. When you make a new page on Notion, you get a blank page. So you can customize it creatively, but if it’s hard, you just need to download templates.
Third, the Embed/Import feature. Embedding means you can put images and videos which you found on the internet into your Notion. Also, your existing data can be imported from Evernote, Google Docs.
Lastly, real-time collaboration. You can invite your coworkers and work together.
(5) Notion has good features for students. I’ll tell you one useful tip and 3 templates.
(6) Free upgrade. Notion is already a free program, but if you have student email, you can upgrade your plan to personal pro for free.
Class Notes and Syllabus. I’d preferred a classic note-taking style before I found Notion. But after I use Notion, I’m gonna definitely use Notion for class. You can capture notes from all your classes and track what you’ve reviewed. Also, you can tag your notes with course names and numbers.
(7) Reading List. When you find an interesting book or media you want to consume, make a list on Notion. You can easily see what you’ve completed.
Simple Budget. You can track your expenses and how they compare to a monthly cap. Also, you should check how much you’re spending on what categories.
(8) Now I’ll show you how I use Notion. This is my Notion page. I made a few tabs for several things. Like Language, Our English studies, Coding. Among these, I’ll show you my language learning Notion page. I’m currently learning English and Spanish, so I made two pages.
(9) On the English page, I put the background picture and other pages again. Also, I put a quote to motivate myself.
(10) On the ‘Content’ page, I listed TV series or movies I watched and books I read.
(11) On the ‘Resources’ page, I listed useful English websites I want to check later.
(12) In ‘Sentence Mining' page, When I find a sentence including a word I don’t know in TV shows or books, I write it down on Notion.
(13) Like this, I can check all the sentences I wrote and later I can put these sentences into a flashcard program. It’s really helpful for remembering new words.
(14) I'll finish with my favorite quote. 'The more that you read, the more things you will know. The more that you learn, the more places you'll go." Dr.Seuss. It would be a little difficult to use Notion in the beginning, but once you get used to it, it will be easy to organize your work. I hope you guys use Notion well and learn many things and finally go to many places in the future.

14/30 L'adolescence
Hier soir, mes anciennes camarades, une ancienne prof et moi, nous sommes réunies pour fêter l'anniversaire de ma prof. C'était une soirée formidable, avec beaucoup de rires et plaisirs. Ça m'a rappelé mon adolescence qui est passé avec cette bande d'amies formidables.
L'adolescence est souvent une période de rébellion, d'amour…etc, mais c'est certainement une métamorphose physique et psychologique, laquelle il faut beaucoup de soutènement de proches. Et moi, je suis heureuse d'avoir admis dans cette école et rencontré des amies et profs géniaux dans cette période.
À l'adolescence, c'est facile de tomber "amoraux". Je ne suis pas très dans l'affect ou dans la démonstration de l'amitié ou de l'amour mais dès lors que je suis captivée par quelqu'un ou quelque chose, je tomberais folle "amoureuse". À cette époque, j'ai bien aimé ma prof de géographie parce qu'elle était très chic et épatante. J'ai étudié vraiment dure pour cette matière pour lui faire plasir. C'était aussi un comportement pour attirer l'attention. Plus qu'elle me fait confiance, plus dure que je travaille pour ne pas la décevoir. Même après la graduation du lycée, elle est toujours une de grandes motivations pour faire de mon mieux.
Ensuite, quand on est jeune, on rencontre facilement des nouvelles têtes, mais en même temps, does amitiés de jeunesse sont un peu fragiles . À force de conflicts entre les amis, j'ai découvert mon insuffisance et amélioré mes compétences relationnelles. Je faisais beaucoup d’ « amies » mais désormais je ne reste que en termes avec deux ou trois bandes. Mais je suis quand même très contente de leur garder toujours de contact, parce que ça n'a pas de prix !

New Keyboard
I bought a new keyboard. It's named "Realforce" which is an expensive, high-spec keyboard. This keyboard uses a special mechanism, so the typing feeling is very nice. Additionally, my laptop's keyboard I've used is Japanese-layout, but the new one is US-layout. I realized US-layout was easy to use especially when I type in English. This is because of the differences in the keys. When it comes to Japanese-layout, there're unique keys used in Japanese, such as to change hiragana/katakana or to convert hiragana into kanji. Besides, the enter key is bigger and its shape is almost square. So, the layout isn't symmetrical and I think it's a bit inconvenient. I also consider US-layout is better for programming because it's needed to type alphabets and signs, for instance, semicolons or parentheses.

How to practice my speaking? I learned English by myself and there are no English teachers around me, so it is very difficult to practice my spoken English. Somebody told me I can speak English to myself with a mirror, but it seems really ridiculous to do that. Hiring teachers to practice with them is really expensive, I can't afford it. I once thought of a method that I think is very smart, which is writing. I do think if I write well I will speak well. After almost practicing it for a year, my writing indeed got better, but my speaking was still terrible. It seems it has nothing to do with my speaking. The final goal of learning English is to speak. I have to hire teachers.

Crappy Neighborhood
Since we had arrived in Chai we had enjoyed unbroken sunshine. But since last week it had rained continuously and we had been soaked to the skin. The trees are quite tall and thick here. I can’t imagine how dark the room is if we are living on the ground floor of the flat. Fortunately, we live on a high floor which boasts fantastic view of the street. On a sunny day you can even see the far mountains.
When I just moved home here, my friend helped to bring the luggages which I had sent to him from Beijing. He drove the car to the underground lot where we found the lift is broken. It was really dark and damp which I hadn’t known until then. We had to return on the ground. My friend said this neighborhood is crapy. I was surprised because it was way better than my former one.
