Should we answer all the questions that are asked? I don’t think we should, but sometimes we are forced to answer poor questions.
When I was in high school, our class had an activity in which we had to write our thoughts about the given question “Which is more important, work or love?,” a related topic to a novel which we were reading. I had to choose one of these, but I answered too sincerely. I chose neither. This is because I didn’t want to make such difficult decisions in my life, and in the novel, you could see such difficult choices coming up way before the protagonist actually had to make a decision. My philosophy of life is that when making a decision between A and B is difficult, there is always option C which is difficult to achieve, but covers the merits of A and B. That’s why I chose neither and wrote that I would do anything possible to avoid such a hard decision. This answer was the option C for me. Of course, I got the lowest score for that, because the point of the task was to answer what our teacher expected us to. I knew that but I couldn’t answer the way he want me to. It was really difficult for me to lie and write something I disagreed.
I don’t think all the questions are worth answering. Some questions are defective. For example, the question “Why does every organism try to sustain its lineage?” is defective, because actually there is no purpose. Organisms which happen to have a tendency to sustain their life have survived. They are not trying to achieve something by surviving, but this question assumes that’s the case. That’s why this question is defective. There are many questions similar to those that I’ve noted above, which assume wrong premises or have too few options. When answering a question, especially a difficult one, please ask yourself, is this worth answering?

Today I saw an interesting topic: why people living in the south are shorter than people who live in the north. According to the author's opinion, there are the following respects: firstly, the high latitude area has long nights, so the northerners can sleep longer, while the southerners do the opposite. Secondly, the northern area produces wheat, and wheat has a longer growing period than rice, so wheat is more nutritious. Therefore, northerners mainly eat wheat so that they can be taller than the southerners who mainly eat rice. Thirdly, the north is colder than the south, so people there need to eat more (and mainly eat beef, mutton and milk) to maintain their fat and calories to keep warm and this leads that they are tall and big, while people in the South not only don't need fat and calories to keep warm because of the hot weather there, on the contrary, they need heat dissipation, and a short body is very good for that. Fourthly, people are also animals. Their bodies evolved naturally to adopt the local climate.
Isn’t it very interesting? What is your opinion?

Definitely books. I am not very into books but every time I read one it seems like I am inside the book living the character's life. I push myself to read more because it's good for me, not having my eyes on the screen is a blessing. But, I need to create the habit of reading and this will be easier over time. I have a problem with focusing and to read a book you need to concentrate to understand the book.

When I was a kid, I wanted to be a teacher. I just loved the way teachers work, cutting paper, writing on the blackboard, and correcting lessons. I used to play with my cousin as if we were at school and I was the teacher and she was my student, it was so much fun. I wish I could go back in time.

Recently, I've come across with postcrossing.com. This website allows you to send postcards to people from other countries. The page works in the following way:
First, you request an address. You cannot choose the person or the country you want to send postcards to, an address is asigned to you randomly. You cannot choose either the country you want your postcard from. Along with the address, a postcard ID is given to you. This is a code which you have to write at least twice in postcard, then, when someone receives your postcard, they have to register this code in the website. This is how postcrossing knows that you have sent a postcard. Then, the website gives your address to someone else. You can send five postcards at the same time. The more you send the more you receive.
So far, I sent two postcards, one to USA and another to Germany. I think this a great way to practice languages, to discover new cultures and to have something from each country. I also make my own postcards because there aren't shops near me which sell them, and I don't like the ones from amazon.

When I was riding my bike at dusk, I looked up and saw the moon in the east, which was round and light yellow in the light blue sky. Coincidentally, I talked about the moon with a lilltle boy earlier.
I like the moon. I like all shapes of it. I also like the moonlight. When it comes through the window and visits my room, it is so soft and bright. It is also quiet, as an old friend accompanying you, you don't need to talk but just do what you want.
Years ago, when I was a high school student, I was in my summer holiday. One day, I thought the moon was so beautiful and the moonlight was so bright that I can walked on the road which without streetlight. Then I decided to visited my elementary school which was beside a river. Because I thouht the school would be also beautiful under the moonlight. So, I rode my bike to start my trip. When I turned right at a corner of the centeral town, a river came to my eyes. The floor of the road was bright, the river was flowing quietly. Wow, what a beautiful night! I thought. Seconds later, I heard some strange noise, which made me a little scared. But I kept going on. I heard the noise clear soon. It was the noise of a funeral, which was held not far from me, it was on the right side of the road and beside the hospital. The sounds of suona (a kind of instrument) was horrible. It felt like a dracular/horror movie. What's worse, this was the only road to the school and there was merely nobody lived along the road. I was too scared to go on, so I turned back and never visited the elementary school at night alone.

Yesterday was a sad day. Two of my favorite people on Weibo had their accounts banned, and they were banned for telling the truth. The first one is called 丁太昇, a music critic and record planner and he contributes a lot to the music industry in China, including the hottest music festival in China - Strawberry Music Festival. It started a few months ago, at the height of the epidemic in India, the official Weibo account of the Chinese Political and Legal Committee posted a picture titled "China Ignition vs India Ignition", comparing a Chinese rocket launch with a picture of an Indian crematorium. The picture was clearly inappropriate for a meme. He criticized the picture, arguing that such behavior broke the bottom line of humanity. After that his account was banned.
Yesterday my second favorite person was banned. His name is 喻国明, the most highly cited scholar in Chinese journalism and communication. I'm trying to get into graduate school and I want to be a student of his. I admire him for saying things on Weibo that most people wouldn't dare to say, like the Cultural Revolution. The day before yesterday when Zhengzhou had a major flood, he posted a clip of a CCTV (China Central Television) host's news broadcast from the previous week praising China's strong flood control measures.
There is a background here. Before the Zhengzhou flood, some celebrities were keen to compare the floods in Germany with the torrential rains in China, mocking the poor measures in Germany and praising the good ones in China. For those celebrities, patriotism is a business - making patriotic comments generates a lot of traffic. Many of them are not really patriotic at heart, such as satirize the American life and society, while buying big houses in the U.S. or sending their children to study abroad. It's creepy. This time it really comes back to bite them. Zhengzhou has been hit by terrible flooding and killing at least 12 people.
This scholar post that video with this comment:“呵呵,话音未落啊...... (Aha, these words have not been spoken for long ... So, it's better to be more prudent in self-evaluation...)" His account was banned because of this post. There were many trollers in the this comment section, we call them "蛆 (maggots)". I think the platform blocked his account because of the "maggots" report.
I uninstalled the Weibo app yesterday and I'm really disappointed with Chinese society.

There is an interesting term in Korea, so called kkondae.
When an older person says to a younger person that his opinion is right and others are wrong,
then we can call the older person as kkondae.
Kkondae usually says "having been thought it all, I know this much".
Without hearing other's opinion and standing their side, is set back a relationship.
It is important to set aside authority and communicate with others who have a different set of values
