A Long Discussion
China uses two calendars: the solar calendar and the lunar calendar.
The Lunar Calendar is for people who are in the countryside and depend on farming to support their livelihood.
The solar calendar is used by people who don't depend on farming, such as the military, government officials, factory workers and so on.
I was born and raised in the countryside in a farming family, so my family used the lunar calendar to decide when to plant or harvest crops.
In the meantime, I was also in elementary school and middle school. My school used the solar calendar to arrange my courses.
After I started working, my work unit only used the solar calendar. In short, the lunar calendar is only used by farmers to arrange farming.
Usually, people think that the first day of the next year is the new year and that is true, but, in China, Chinese people do have two new years, and the lunar new year is more grand than the solar new year because it's the traditional new year for Chinese people.
If people in other countries also use the same lunar calendar as Chinese people, and treat the first day of the lunar calendar as their traditional new year, that's okay and they can say, "Japanese New Year or Korean New Year."

Warum lernst du Deutsch?
Ich lerne Deutsch, weil ich in Deutschland lebe und ich mit den Leute kommunizieren möchtet. Es wäre schon, wenn ich dank meiner Deutschkenntnisse nicht nur eine Arbeit finden, aber auch die Kultur genießen könnte.
Zusätzlich gefällt mir die Sprache! In meiner Muttersprache schreibe ich kaum, aber in Deutsch macht es mir spaß!
Erstens habe ich das Lernen sehr einfach gefunden. Die Regeln sind logisch und das ,, Akkusativ/Dativ" System ist klasse. Die Aussprache sieht mir relativ einfach aus. Ich sage oft, dass sie wie ein Telegraf klingt, und ich meine es nicht böse. Im Vergleich finde ich die Polnischesprache wie eine reiche Suppe, oder einen kleinen Fluß, wo alle Wörter gemischt sind.
Die Deutschesprache hat aber auch ihre Schwierigkeiten, besonders wenn man ein vorgeschrittenes Niveau erreichen möchtet. Sie enthält viele Wörter, die nur für eine genaue Anwendung geeignet sind ( Zum Beispiel: Ist Anwendung tatsächlich hier korrekt ?! Man könnte daran ehrlig bezweifeln). Um complexe Sätze zu fassen, muss man nicht nur an die richtigen Wörter denken, aber auch an ihre respektiven Position im Satz.
Ein lustiger aber anstrengender Zug der Sprache sind die Januswörter, die Wörter, die zwei entgegensetzene Meinung haben. ,,Umfahren" ist vielleicht der bekannste und ist wahrscheinlich der Grund, außer die Preis, das Dauer und die Sprachbarriere, dafür ich in Deutschland kein Führerschein absolven will ;)

Mon artiste préférée
J'ai raté mes journal quotidien français deux fois cette semaine, une pour faire une nuit blanche et l'autre pour dormir quinze heures (vraiment) le jour prochain. Ce n'était pas amusant, mais aujord'hui je suis rétournée aux Langcorrect et je me sens tout excité pour y continuer écrire.
Je veux parler de mon artiste préférée, Francisco Goya. Il était probablement l'artiste espagnols le plus important de son époque. J'adore son style, mais j'aime plus les sujets de ses tableaux, parce qu'il était vraiment un penseur avec de l'esprit et de la conscience. Goya avais premièrement peindu pour la cour royal d'Espagne et ces tableaux sont admirables, en l'état, mais l'Espagne a changé rapidement dans sa vie et il a saisi l'essence de sa peur, son anxiété, et ses jugements envers tout ça. Pour ses critiques de la société, il a fait «Los caprichos», une série de l'eau-forte un peu énigmatique, mais charmante et captivante. Je pense aussi que les légendes ont beaucoup caractère, comme je peux détecter ses opinions sarcastiques. Puis, pendant les guerres napoléoniennes, il a fait «Tres de mayo», son tableau plus célèbre, avec une autre série, «Les Désastres de la guerre» aussi obsédante. Quand je l'a vu, je m'est démandée si «Guernica» de Picasso est inspiré de Goya, parce que j'ai l'autant impression forte envers «Guernica» que «Tres de Mayo.» J'étais très heureuse quand mon instinct a eu le droit.
Peu d'autres peintres m'affecte comme Goya, même s'il me rend plupart la terreur. «L'Enclos des fous» est ce que je me souviens le plus parfaitement, et n'oubliez pas de «Peindtures noires» ! Si quiconque dirait que l'art, c'est ennuyeux, je le monterais les œuvres de Francisco Goya.

La pasada semana gané la confianza de decirle a mi jefe que todavía no quiero trabajar tantas horas.
Last week I got the confidence to tell my boss that I no longer wanted to work so many hours.
Era algo me parecía muy difícil; aunque soy una persona que tengo mucha confianza en mi misma, este trabajo es muy importante para mí y mi futuro.
It was something I found very difficult to do; although I am a person that has a lot of confidence in myself, this job is very important for me and my future.
No recuerdo si hablé de esto antes, aunque en mi trabajo anterior, tenía un jefe muy tóxico y estricto.

L’origine de la Nouvelle Année chinoise
Aujourd’hui, le 22 janvier, les Chinois commencent leur célébration de la Nouvelle Année. C’est la fête la plus importante dans leur calendrier. Selon le dernier recensement australien, environ 1,2 millions d’habitants ont d’origine chinoise : c’est presque 5% de la population australienne. La première vague de migrants chinois était pendant la ruée vers l’or en 1860. Après ça, beaucoup de chinois sont venus comme travailleurs et étudiants.
J’ai plusieurs amis chinois et je m’intéresse beaucoup à leur culture et leurs traditions. L’histoire des signes du zodiaque de la nouvelle année m’a beaucoup plu. Apparemment, il existe deux histoire assez similaire. Comme vous connaissez, il y a 12 signes du zodiaque symbolisés par des animaux. Je me suis demandé, comment est ce qu’on a choisi ces animaux. Voilà la première histoire : au VIéme siècle avant J.C, l’empereur Jade a invité tous les animaux dans son royaume pour célébrer la nouvelle année. Seulement douze animaux ont répondu à l’invitation : on trouve ces animaux sur le calendrier chinois.
J’aime plus la deuxième histoire. Apparemment, tous les animaux souhaitent avoir leur symbole sur le calendrier, donc l’empereur a organisé une course. Il a fait remarquer qu’il n’y avait que 12 gagnants. Le rat était rusé et sournois, il est monté sur le dos du bœuf et est arrivé le premier. Les autres animaux à gagner une place étaient le tigre, le lapin, le dragon, le cheval, le serpent, la chèvre, le singe, le coq, le chien et le cochon. C’est évident pourquoi cette histoire m’a plu la plus : c’est parce que je suis née l’année du rat !

The disturbing neighbour
Dear Ms. Sherman,
Thank you for your reply. As I mentioned in the last mail Brandon is a really annoying neighbour. More specifically, he keeps his TV turned on at high volume all nights. I don't know if he fall asleep watching TV, but the TV doesn't mute until morning around 8 AM.
At the weekends the situation is even worse. A deafening music sounds from Saturday morning to Sunday evening. He is probably hosting a party every weekend because there are people going into and out of his house continuously.
As if that were not enough, he frequently spends some nights making reparations at home with noisy tools.
As his landlady, I hope you can talk to Brandon to solve the situation.

La peur
Nous tous avons peur de quelque chose. C'est normal de l'avoir des certaines choses ou évènements mais il ne faut pas laisser notre peur nous êmbecher d'avoir tant d'occassion en or. Au lieu de laisser tomber ses ambitions à cause de peur il faut mieux d'être courager et tenter notre coup et en plein cas remarquer que c'était pas si mal comme on a prévenu. C'est tous dans notre serveau si on change notre attitude et faisons confiance à soi-même il y aura rien qu'on pourrait pas poursuivre. La peur ira probablement toujours là mais elle n'arrivera plus de nous arrêter.

Day 15: Developing the Habit of Finishing part 1
A problem that I have is abandon my ideas or personal projects. For example, three months ago I started to meditate every day and after about two weeks I quit. However, today I have read an article about how to finish our projects. The article says that having deadlines and developing the habit of finishing is key to achieve everything that we want. I had started to meditate because my mind is always distracting me when I'm trying to focus on my studies, and also because meditation helps me to improve my discipline. I need to start mindfulness meditation again because I really need it. So, I'm going to set a goal and a deadline.

３６：ここまでと今後の日本語学習
大学が始まったと同時に、僕は日本語を学ぼうと決めた。その時、一体何を考えていたかは分からないが、１年半弱しかないの短すぎる時限で日本語能力試験（JLPT）N2に挑戦することも決めた。しかも、全部独学でやってみたかった。時間が豊かな大学一年生の内に、できる限り日本語をいっぱい身につけようと思っていた。けど、優等生のみが入れるコンピューターサイエンスプログラムに受かったので、かなり難しい授業を取らざるを得なかった。
何とかその自分に課した関門を突破できた。前学期の終わりまでずっと良い成績を保てて、優等生のままでいられた。日本語と大学の勉強をここまで両立できたのは本当に予想できなかったんだ。明日はJLPTの結果発表日だ。自信満々で試験を受けたから、JLPTの結果を試験を受けた後からすっかり忘れていたみたいだけど、今は何の不安もないと言ったら大嘘だ。不合格の成績の可能性はゼロに近いと思う。ただ、期待していた成績は高い方で、明日は落胆するかもしれない。まぁ、結果が何であれこの近い間でこのレベルに至ったことを誇るべきだと思う。
ほぼ１年半の間でこの大変な両立をずっと続けたが、ここは僕の限界だと思う。これからも日本語学習に励むつもりだけど、ここまでの懸命さでは続ける自信がない。授業はだんだん難しくなってきて、プログラミングの自己学習も始めたのだ。こうやって毎日日本語で文章を書けるかどうかも分からない。とはいうものの、単語と漢字の復習は当然毎日やり続けます。それに、土日で2つの長文さえ書ければ満足できると思う。でも、実際に今学期の授業を受けないと、タイムマネジメントをいかによくするかは分からないだろうね。

Außerschuliche Aktivitäten
Dia de la Juventud oder Jungstag ist ein Fest, das am 22. September stattfindet. Es gilt vor allem jungen Schülern. Es spielt sich auf dem Schulgelände ab und bietet verschiedene Aktivitäten an. Dazu gehören Sportwettkämpfe zwischen den Klassen. Zudem gibt es lustige verschiedene Spiele auf dem Hof und man kann ein hervorragendes Mittagessen genießen auf der Sporthalle.
ELLAS O ELLOS INVITAN ist eine Aktivität, der jährlich veranstaltet wurde, und insofern gilt als eine der wichtigen und lustigen Events der Schule. Es geht einfach darum, dass die Klassen eine kreative Einladung für eine besondere Person erschaffen und anschließend ein Foto dazu auf Instagram einstellen sollen. Ein Jahr können die Jungen die Mädchen einladen und danach das nächste umgekehrt. Die Publikation, die mehr Likes erhält, ist der Gewinner. Das hält bis zum 8. September an. An diesem Tag wird eine Party außerhalb der Schule durchgeführt, wo man mit dieser Person, die man eingeladen hatte, zusammen zur Party geht, damit wird der Gewinner verkündet und man mit anderen Schülern irgendwas zusammen unternehmen.
Eine auch wichtige Aktivität ist das Schulfest, das am 7. Mai auf dem Schulgelände abrollt, wo die Schüler ihre Familien, ehemalige Schüler oder aus anderer Schule dazu einladen, um verschiedene Spiele auszuprobieren, die selbst die Schüler erschaffen haben und überdies ist es einen Essplatz vorhanden, wo man süßes oder salziges Essen kaufen kann. Man kann auf dem Hof genüßlich die Zeit verbringen. Um die Spiele auszuprobieren, sollte man an die Kasse gehen und Tickets dort kaufen. Die Menschen, die ein bestimmtes Spiel spielen wollen, geben es dem Schüler und dieser es aufbewahrt. Abschließend sammeln die Schüler ihre Tickets und geben der 12. Klasse, um sie gegen Geld zu tauschen. So werden die Schüler das Geld für ihre Reisen einziehen.

学校のタレントショー
昨日、学校でタレントショーがありました。
タレントショーというのは、歌手、音楽家、ダンサーなど色々な才能を持つ人が演じて競い合うイベントです。アメリカでは学校が行うことが多いです。でも、コロナウイルスのせいで数年間行うことができませんでした。なので、昨日まで私はタレントショーに行ったことがなかったです。
意外と人気なイベントだったみたいで、観客席には６００人ぐらいいました。会場が混んでいて友達が見つかりませんでした。ちょっと不安でしたが、タレントショーが始まったあとは演技に夢中になって話しかけられたとしても多分返事しなかったと思います。参加した人は皆すごく上手でテンションがすぐに上がりました。これが私にとって最初で最後の高校のタレントショーだと思うとちょっと悲しくなるんですが、ちゃんと楽しめたことを嬉しく思います。

Oggi, terminarò la serie sulle etimologie di toponimi italiani. Non ho scritto niente in italiano da tempo, perche vorrei ritornare in Ungheria, ciò che implica la necessità di imparare un po' di ungherese. Non sto progredendo tanto velocemente quanto progredivo con l'italiano. Sebbene l'ungharese sia una lingua interessantissima, non mi illudo sul livello che avrò quando partirò... Ma torniamo al tema principale!
¤ CALABRIA/CATANZARO = Dal nome greco di un popolo che viveva nella regione e (a quanto pare) originario dalla penisola balcanica, i "Galabrioi". Si pensa che il nome provenga da una radice preromana *cal(a) o *calabra-/galadadra, di senso oscuro, probabilmente "roccia, concrezione calcarea o ghiacciata". Si puó pensare a un'origine celtica, perche la radice *kal- (che si ritrova in "Caledonia") significava "duro". È interessante notare che la regione si chiamava anche "Uitalia", la "terra dei Vituli", un popolo che viveva lì, con un nome che proviene dalla lingua osca, "uitlu" e che significava "torino, piccolo toro", perche questo popolo venerava tori, secondo i greci. Per "Catanzaro", ci sono diverse ipotesi: la più popolare afferma che il nome provenga di due generali bizantini, Kataro e Zaro, che hanno fondato un insediamento sulla Rocca Niceforo, che è diventita l'attuale città di Catanzaro. Un'altra ipotesa suggerisce una fusione della parola greca "kata" ("sotto") con la parola calabrese "anzàru" ("pianoro")
¤ SICILIA/PALERMO = Dei Siculi ("Sikeloi" in greco) che abitavano sull'isola nell'Antichità. Secondo le iscrizioni lasciate dai Siculi, casi tutti i linguisti sono d'accordo per dire che parlavano una lingua indo-europea, certamente collegata al gruppo delle lingue italiche o ligure, ma l'origine dell'etnonimo stesso rimane oscura. La Sicilia è spesso chiamata "Trinacria", da una parola greca che significa "tre punte". L'etimologia di "Palermo" è più chiara: "Panormos", "grande porto". La città ha avuto altri nomi, come "Paleapolis" ("città vecchia"), TS-Y-TS (durante l'epoca fenicia) o "Balarm", la versione araba del nome greco.

어제 제 전 룸메이트의 생일이었어요. 우리 앤아버에 있는 Miss Kim이라고 한식점에 갔어요. 애피타이저로 갈비 맛이 좋았고 저는 두부찌개와 칵테일를 주문했어요. 우리는 서로를 만나서 매우 행복했지만 전반적으로 지출은 꽤 비싸고 요리의 크기도 작아요. 다 먹은 후에 아이스크림 가게에 갔어요. 사실 저는 겨울에 차가운 것을 먹으면 배가 아플까봐 걱정했어요. 하지만 괜찮았어요. 오늘은 춘절 전야제이니까 저는 많은 친구들을 초대했고 오늘밤에 제 아파트에서 집에서 만든 훠궈를 먹기로 계획했어요. 저는 훠궈가 너무 기대되기 때문에 아마 과식 하고 속이 거북할 것 같아요.

Сухой январь
Я часто слышу о "Dry January", "сухом январе" (мне кажется, что звучит лучше по-русски). Этот концепт происходит из Англии и заключается в том, не выпить алкоголь в течение месяца. Мне кажется, что такие практики — которые очень в моде — часто безполезны, иногда опасны, и я объясню почему.
Выдержать время воздержания, такое как голодание или Dry January, требует длинную психологическую и физическую подготовку, чтобы извлечь из него долгосрочную пользу. Без подготовки, напрасно надеяться пожать плоды из какого-нибудь воздержания. Сколько людей не пьют в течение "сухого январи", чтобы дать себе чистую совесть, а потом пьют как лошади уже с февраля? Я готов сделать ставку, что ответ на этот вопрос — "много".
Я постился несколько раз. Я не ёл ничего, только пил немного воды и чая. В начале, было трудным. Мое тело очень "требовало" пищу всё время. Первые голодания были сложными терпеть. Сейчас, я ем каждый второе день, и это намного проще. Когда я ем, я ем с аппетитом; однако, мое тело привикнуло к этому новому образу жизни. Оно не требует пищу как раньше, потому что я сейчас ем меньше, в общем.
Отказаться себе в еде или избавиться от зависимости — серьёзные дела. Потреблять что-то умеренно требует изменение умонастроения, и очень часто, нужна помощь врача, чтобы преодолеть зависимость. Конечно, мы занимаемся с такими делами, чтобы быть здоровым, но если не хватает подготовки, если у нас неправильный метод, они в конце концов вредны для здоровья. Так происходит, если человек бухает даже ещё больше в остальное время года, чтобы скомпенсировать "сухой январь"...

B1 Schreiben Fremdsprachen im Kindergarten
Eigentlich es ist sehr interessantes Thema, über das wird viel diskutiert. Ich stimme Ali‘s Meinung völlig zu. Fremdsprachen lernen ist der Wunsch der Eltern. Lernen als kind ist nicht nur leichter, sondern auch schneller.Kinder müssen mindestens zwei Fremdsprachen lernen, weil sie in Zukunft davon profitieren werden. Verfügt dieses Thema über etliche Vorteile, aber gleichzeitig können wir nicht abstreiten, dass es auch manche Nachteile hat. Sprache lernen ist stressig und kostet viel Zeit und Geld. Zum Schluss finde ich es wichtig , dass Kinder mehr als Sprache lernen

B1 Schreiben Urlaub am Strand
Eigentlich über das Thema wird viel diskutiert, weil es sehr interessant ist. Ich stimme Sara‘s Meinung ganz zu, Urlaub am Strand macht unbedingt Spaß. Dort können wir mit unseren Familien interessantes Zeit verbringen, am Meer entspannen und viele Hobbys wie Schwimmen und senken ausüben. Aber gleichzeitig können wir nicht abstreiten, dass es auch manche Nachteile hat. Ein Hotelzimmer am Strand muss im Voraus gebucht werden und ist sehr teuer , außerdem gibt es manchmal Lärm und Stau.
Schließlich, bin ich der Meinung, dass ein Urlaub am Strand, trotz der hohen Kosten, eine großartige Idee ist.

B1 Schreiben Lesen am Computer
Das Thema (Lesen am Computer) ist sicher zurzeit vielseitig. Darüber man lange diskutiert kann. Ich stimme ganz Sara‘s Meinung völlig zu. Viele Leute lesen Bücher und Vorträge im Bus oder in der Bahn. Das kann viel Geld und Zeit sparen. Außerdem ist es besser für die Umwelt. Je mehr Menschen am Computer lesen, desto weniger Papiere verbrauchen wir und weniger Bäume gefällt werden. Andererseits, ist dass die Augen schlecht beeinflusst werden, wenn man viel Zeit am Computer verbringt. Schließlich bin ich der Meinung, dass Lesen am Computer eine gute Idee ist, wenn man inh richtig benutzt
