Le passé composé
Aujourd'hui, j'ai essayé d'apprendre le passé composé. Pour moi, c'est difficile, mais c'est ne pas aussi laborieux que pour une autre personne parce que je parle le catalan et c'est très similaire au français. Cependant, il faut que j'apprendre le français trop vite parce que je veux aller a Paris l'année prochaine pour faire mon Erasmus. Est-ce-que vous pensez que je pourrais atteindre un niveau élevé en 12 moins? Je crois que si j'intègre le français en ma vie quotidienne, par exemple écoutant le musique en français ou écrivant des histoires en LangCorrect, j'obtiendrai le B2 avant (vs après) mon Erasmus. Vous-etes d'accord? Vous pouvez me recommander une moyen d'améliorer mon français? Merçi!

Letter of Motivation (for ML and AI Summer Scholarship)
I am a third-year undergraduate at Phystech School of Applied Mathematics and Computer Science at the Moscow Institute of Physics and Technology (MIPT). In my program, I study all the exact sciences: math, physics, and computer science. Having already passed the state exam in physics this winter and nearly completed all fundamental math disciplines (only functional analysis remains), I focus on the mathematical foundations of computer science, namely optimization and the theory of machine learning.
It was in the fall of 2023 when I first tried doing research. Under the guidance of a mentor, I learned the basics of quantum cryptography, perused a comprehensive article on an approach to proving the security of quantum key distribution and, based on the main theorem from the article, performed calculations in Wolfram Mathematica to determine the optimal parameters of the depolarizing channel for the highest possible speed of generation.
That sophomore experience might be called dabbling in science. A lot has changed since then, mainly, I have gained expertise in my areas of interest, which made it possible for me to perform cutting-edge research. This semester, I am solving a real problem in optimization with a teammate and a mentor. We are working on enhancing Sign Stochastic Gradient Descent, an algorithm used in Federated Learning, which guarantees privacy. Our goal is to generalize the proof of the differential privacy of the algorithm, which, broadly speaking, will enable the secure training of neural networks on local user data with real distributions, which often prove to have an unbounded variance. I am fond of this problem, for it lies at the intersection of machine learning and optimization.
Thus it turned out that I am working in the area of trustworthy machine learning and am providing mathematical guarantees for ML models, which makes me well-suited to collaborate with Dr. Nikola Konstantinov at INSAIT. I am eager to approach federated learning from a new perspective, which naturally happens whenever one comes into contact with members of another scientific school. Besides, I approve of the approach of intensive study aimed at producing a research article. I consider it extremely important for a researcher to formulate the results of their work in an academic fashion and, if the work is of satisfactory quality, to seek feedback on it from the scientific community.
All these reasons lead me to the conclusion that the INSAIT Summer Undergraduate Fellowship is an ideal opportunity for me. Besides, cutting-edge research is not the only benefit of the Fellowship. It would be a bleak prospect for me to stay in Moscow this summer, especially when I could visit the vibrant capital of a serene country with a Slavic-speaking population. Learning foreign languages is my passion, and I would enjoy the opportunity to learn to understand a language unknown to me yet quite similar to Russian, and, if possible, even to try to speak it.

Vacaciones en la montaña - 2
Sigo escribiendo sobre mis vacaciones en los Alpes.
El primer día, siempre es difícil adaptarse a la altura de la montaña. Hay menos oxígeno, así que el corazón tiene que trabajar más y la gente está cansada con pocos esfuerzos. Incluso por la noche, el latido del corazón es más rápido y es difícil dormir. Suelo tomar dos o tres días para adaptarme a esta diferencia.
Este año, tuvimos mucha suerte porque hacía muy buen tiempo casi todos los días de nuestras vacaciones. Por lo tanto, pudimos esquiar cada día. Las telesillas suelen abrir a las 9 y cierran a las 5 de la tarde. La amiga de mi hijo hizo una clase de esquí que empezaba a las 9.30, así que salimos al mismo tiempo que ella y estábamos sobre la pista temprano. Es la mejor hora para esquiar porque la nieve está perfecta y hay poca esquiadores antes de las 10. Eso quiere decir que no hay colas para coger las telesillas y tampoco hay gente sobre las pistas. ¡Es el paraíso!
No nos gustaba regresar al piso para almorzar, y los restaurantes de altura son carísimos; por lo tanto, solía preparar tentempiés como “surtido rico” (trail mix - no sé si es la buena palabra en español…), pequeñas salchichas, o cubos de queso para comer encima de la montaña. Nos encantó almorzar afuera, respirando el aire fresco y admirando las cimas nevadas.

My cat(4)
Bao has adapted to my house and feels more relaxed than before.
I can only now see what he looks like. Compared to other two-year-old cats, Bao is a bit skinny.
According to the staff in the animal hospital, his former owner sent Bao to his friend to take care of before sending Bao to the hospital.

Les processus de recrutement longs peuvent parfois être stressants.
Après avoir envoyé une candidature, il y a plusieurs étapes à passer,
un entretien téléphonique, puis un entretien en personne, et parfois des tests supplémentaires.
Cela prend du temps, mais c’est souvent nécessaire pour que l’entreprise choisisse le meilleur candidat.
Pendant ce temps, il est important de rester patient et de continuer à chercher d’autres opportunités.
Même si l'attente peut être difficile, il faut garder espoir.

Человек живующий на острове находит красивую лампу. Так как она немного грязна, её трёт, чтобы её чистить, и джинн выходит в облаке дыма. «Наконец-то, я свободен!, он восклицает. Меня свободил ты, поэтому я тебе предоставляю одно желание. Выбери тщательно!
— Спасибо, отвечает человек. Здесь мы живём на острове, и мы достаточно уединённы. Я хотел бы мост, чтобы связать нас с остальным миром.
— Минутку, парень! Не умею делать такие дела!
— Ты не джинн?, удивляешься человек.
— Конечно я джинн! Но ты живёшь 100 километров от ближайщего берега... Ты представляешь себе количество строительного материала и инженерную работу, которых такое строительство требует? Я умею делать многое, но ничего экстравагантного!
— Хорошо... Так я хотел бы более братский мир, в котором каждый человек любил бы своего ближнего в уважении свободы и отличий, в котором мы обсуждалы бы вместо того начиннать пустые ссоры».

Eine Biografie für diese Site
Hallo, ich bin Jonathan und ich komme aus der Niederlanden. Niederländisch und Friesisch sind meine Muttersprachen. Ich kann Friesisch leider nicht gut lesen, weil ich dass nie gelernt habe. An den Gymnasium habe ich sechs Jahre Englisch und Latein, fünf Jahre Deutsch, drei Jahre Französisch und zwei Jahre Altgriechisch studiert. Das waren zu vielen Sprachen um gleichzeitig zu studieren, also habe ich dann keine Sprache richtig gelernt. Während meiner Schulzeit bekam ich eine Freundschaft mit eine Frau aus Großbritannien und sie hattet mir viel mit ihrer Sprache geholfen. Jetzt spreche ich dadurch Englisch am Level C1.
Seit 2023 habe ich einige deutsche Freund*innen kennengelernt und seitdem ist es meinen Ziel besser Deutsch zu lernen. Ich mache dass durch Praxis auf dieser Site, regelmäßig Deutsche Podcasts zu hören und jeweils mit meinen Freund*innen Deutsch zu reden.
Die Geschichte die ich für diese Site schreib sind fiktiv, aber jeweils basiere ich die Geschichte auf Ergebnisse aus meinen Leben, den Lebens meiner Freunden oder der Aktualität.

Un récit de mon court séjour en Italie
Depuis quatre mois, je rédige patiemment un récit de mon court séjour en Italie, en italien. Cela fait déjà seize ans que cela s'est passé. Je rassemble mes souvenirs à partir du journal que je tenais à l'époque et des cartes postales que j'envoyais à ma famille, et, de manière audacieuse, je le fais en italien.
Bien que mon séjour ait duré vingt jours, je n'ai pour l'instant réussi à en écrire que la moitié.
Je n’ai aucune idée du temps qu’il me faudra encore pour le terminer.
Je suis profondément reconnaissant envers certains Italiens de ce site qui ont eu la gentillesse de corriger mon travail.

A mídia social e a extrema direita
Li um livro sobre como a mídia social tem afetado a política hoje em dia. Uma parte do livro menciona que, antes de Bolsonaro, a extrema direita não existia de fato no Brasil. Um aumento nas postagens e grupos sobre teorias da conspiração, que foram promovidos pelo Facebook, levou a mais apoio a ideais conservadores. O Facebook promoveu isso porque os usuários passavam mais tempo no site. Acho muito interessante que as postagens online tenham levado à era de Bolsonaro.

Sono felicissima, anzi, sono al settimo cielo! Mio marito ha superato un esame importante oggi. Mi ha appena telefonato per dirmi la bella notizia!
È bello sapere che il frutto del proprio lavoro è apprezzato e che tutti i suoi sforzi lo hanno portato così lontano.
Festeggeremo con del cibo delizioso a pranzo, pieno di calorie. È costato un bel po', però ci sono volte in cui bisogna mettere da parte le buone abitudini e viziarsi un po'.
Se non quando hai qualcosa da festeggiare, allora quando?!

あなたの仕事は何ですか？説明できますか？
僕はソフトエンジニアです。日常のタスクは、アプリとかウエブサイトとか、開発することです。ソフトのメンテナンスか、更新することもします。様々な仕事をしていますから、僕の仕事をまとめるのは少し難しいです。
いつからこの仕事をしていますか？何のきっかけですか？
僕は１５年前に、コンピューターエンジニアを勉強し始めました。この勉強は5年かかりました。10年前に会社で働き始めました。それ以来、僕は同じ会社で働いています。子供の時、多いゲームをプレーしました。それがきっかけで、ソフトエンジニアになるつもりでした。７歳の時、一つ目のゲームはポケモンでした。１４歳の時、初めてウエッブサイトを作りました。それ以来、コンピューターのことを続けました。
あなたの会社では、何をしていますか？そして、同僚はどうですか？
僕の会社は観光のソフトを開発するための会社です。観光支店は、そのソフトを使っています。お客様のこと、支払いのこと、旅行を準備するためのソフトを開発しています。そして、同僚は親切で有能ですから、同僚と働くのは気持ちがいいです。
あなたの仕事のデメリットは何ですか？
本当のデメリットはありませんが、日中に集中しなければいけませんから、時々とても疲れてしまいましたね。それ以外何も思っています。
後悔はありますか？例えば、他の仕事をしたい、他の会社に働きたい、同じ会社にでも他の仕事をしたい…
後悔はありません。仕事が好きで会社も好き、いい暮らしをしています。未来はわかりませんが、仕事を変えるのは思っていません。現在の世界状態は悪いから（何度戦争、環境も変形しています…）、観光は少し苦していますが、未来は現在よりいいだと思います。それがなければ、たぶん同じ仕事でも他の会社に働いていきます。今日まだわかりません。

Hallo! Ich habe fast vier Monate in Deutschland gewohnt und vor Kurzem begonnen, mit meinem Freund auf Deutsch zu sprechen. Ich versuche, selbst Sätze zu bilden und sie später mit ChatGPT zu korrigieren. Ich möchte längere Sätze sagen, wenn ich mit meinem Freund rede, weil ich gerne über Politik, Kunst und Kultur diskutiere. Aber mit meinem aktuellen Sprachniveau kann ich nur auf Fragen wie 'Was hast du heute gegessen?' antworten.
Jedenfalls habe ich gestern ein altes Haus in Blender fertiggestellt. Ich bin stolz auf mich. Ich habe einige Tutorials von SharpWind gesehen, und seine Modelle scheinen besser als meine. Aber das hier ist mein zweites Projekt, und ich habe seit zwei Wochen viel gelernt. Heute muss ich mich auf etwas anderes konzentrieren, also kann ich nicht so viel üben wie gestern. Vielleicht kann ich zumindest versuchen, einen Windeffekt hinzuzufügen. Ich weiß es noch nicht.
