What time do you normally go to bed?

I usually go to bed at 10:30 PM.
As I try to sleep 8 hours per night, i go to bed at 10:30 PM. Tt can take 15 to 30 minutes to fall asleep, so I normally sleep at 11PM. My alarm clock rings at 7 AM every morning. So I sleep 8 hours per night.

Четвёртая глава книги "Азазель"

Фандорин пришёл в дом графа Зурова, чтобы играть в карты. Он похож на молодого человека из хорошей семьи, и опытние игроки сразу увидели в его шанс выиграть много денег.

Зуров сам предложил Фандорину играть с ним. Игра начилась и... Фандорин выиграл у Зурова более десяти тысячи рублей. Зуров рассердился, и начал кричать на Фандорина. Зуров хотел устроить дуэль, но Фандорин предложил ему бросить жребий. Тот кто проиграл застрелится.

Как объяснил Фандорина, это было бы лучше. Люди подумают что кто-то из них просто проиграл много денег и убил себя. Зуров согласился и велел слугу принести карты, шампанское, и револьвер.

Они решели вытащили карты из колоды, и у кого чёрная, тот будет первым стреляться. Через несколько секунд, у Фандорина была чёрная. Он вставил револьвер в рот, выстрелил... и остался жив. Зуров крикнул "Всё! Молодец!", и пригласил Фандорина к себе в кабинет.

В кабинете, Зуров хотел знать, что он мог сделать, чтобы Фандорин его простил. Фандорин просто хотел знать об Амалии Бежецкой. Зуров сказал что Амалия как наркотик для себя. Он боялся её больше чем любил. Он предупредил Фандорина, что она его убьёт, если тот не забыл про неё. Но Зуров подал ему письмо он получил от Амалии. На письме был адрес с другим именем - мисс Ольсен.

Mitarbeitergespräch

Heute hatte ich mein Mitarbeitergespräch mit meinem Chef. Es ist besser gegangen, als ich gedacht hatte. Mein Chef ist offenbar zufrieden mit meiner Arbeit, aber er kann nicht gewähren, dass ich nächstes Jahr einen weiteren Vertrag bekommen werde, da das Corona-Virus viel Zufall im Spiel gebracht hat.

Na ja, zumindest weiß ich jetzt, dass ich einen guten Job mache.

Über Entschlossenheit

Entschlossenheit ist sehr wichtig wann man ein Sprache lernst. Jeden Tag muss man üben, jeden Tag muss man auf diese Sprache sprechen. Es ist dann vielleicht ein bisschen selstsam das gibt manche Kurse wo man nur einmal in Woche geht und übt. Ob er nicht bei sich selbst lernt dann ist alles verloren. Es ist nicht einfach, aber es bekommt einfacher Tag für Tag.

Fly?

So, we can’t go anywhere.

Hotel, tourists industrial and Airline Company is the no.1 victims.

I already mention that as a local, I can pay a cheap price to rent a hotel.

I also mention China is building a famous Japanese street to make the fan feel like in Japan.

Now the airline company!

Some airline company offering a trip that will take off and fly in the air for some hours then back to same airport.

When I hear such offer, I laugh immediately.

Who would stupid enough to take flight?

Well, all the tickets sold out almost immediately.

Some years later when we our son look back what had happened today.

They may laugh till one cries.

From a review's comment for an academic manuscript.

Considering the paucity of the evidence in the field and the importance of the study subject, I strongly favor this work concerning publication. Nevertheless, several aspects should be considered before acceptance.

The manuscript is rather hard to read. Please redo editing and language correction for better flow. The table notes (the notes being presented below the notes) need to follow the guideline from ICMJE. The numbers in the manuscript should be consistent in format. For example, sensitivity was presented either as 26-61% or 0.86.

Did you mean "p < 0.05" instead of "p ≤ 0.05"?

The results should preferably be described in the result section instead of the discussion section.

工作场所性别平等

去年在荷兰，埃因霍温技术大学决定雇用更多女性。根据规定，只有在六个月内没有女性专家的情况下，男性才能申请。我以这件事为例子，按照广播节目里研究生、科学家和他们的同伴的观点，我要讨论需要性别平等的原因，而且讨论得到性别平等要注意的地方。

科学是否需要性别平等。性别平等可以理解为得到职位的机会差不多或者两性比例差不多。与容易控制的前者不同，后者难以确保。工作场所两性比例的大区别，形成领域定型观念。比如，有人认为技术科学更适合男性，而人文科学更适合女性。这样的观点是促进性别不平等的主要因素。在社会压力之下，一些能干的人对某些工作机会就没有兴趣。为了避免这样人才失去的问题，要促进两性比例的合理。

重视申请人的性别是否得到工作场所合理的两性比例的好方式。有人怀疑，拒绝性别比例较多的人意味着专业素质贬值。还有人觉得，这种方式侮辱妇女，好像他们不能自主就业。这些反对有道理，新规定要是过分的话，享受优惠的性别比例较少的人就有可能被认为配不上自己的职位，结果是生产的新问题比解决过的多。我因此觉得在一切专业技能等标准相同的情况下，才能考虑个人性别。这样工作场所性别比例差别虽然改变得慢，但改变得更稳固。

从这个例子可以论断，一切领域都促进性别平等是吸引人才的基础。专业技能和个人素质是最重要的，而性别等特性都是次要因素。最好先考虑重要的因素再考虑要次的因素。这个例子的结论足够普遍，可能于其他工作场所也使用。

Nor-cal, Sou-Cal

Just watched a video introduce the difference between the Asian in North vs South California.

First of all, I only know California by name.

I also know a famous city in US.

But other than that, nothing I can tell.

Thanks to this video.

Now, I know California is located where in US.

And over there have so many Asian.

Furthermore, Nor-Cal (sort form of North California) Asian is totally different to Sou-Cal.

Hollywood vs Silicon Valley.

Many different countries of Asian vs few countries of Asian.

Wish I can make some Nor-cal, Sou-Cal friends.

My Favorite Sounds

These days, AMSR has become very popular and you can find many AMSR videos on YouTube. Everybody must have favorite sounds.
In my case, favorite sounds are sounds of writing something, such as audio of a fountain pen and chalk. I love hearing sounds that a mathematics teacher draws math formulas. Besides, I like writing something with a fountain pen. The writing feeling is lighter and more comfortable than the feelings of a pencil and a ballpen. I recommend you to watch ”Custom Namiki Falcon, Part 2” on YouTube.
Furthermore, typing sounds are also good. I don't like the sounds of hitting the enter key strongly, but fluent typing makes me happy. I want to buy a premium keyboard like HHKB.

ロックダウンに他のことなか僕はテニスを始めました。今までとても楽しくて疲れることでした。
しかし秋の始まりから、ここイタリアでよく雨が降っているので練習するのがあまり出来ません。
天気がよくなることが本当に欲しいですけど、今週の天気予報が悪いです、だから出来ない事と思います。

日本語日記　10月11日

今日は、たくさん宿題をした。私の半分のクラスで、宿題の提出期限は日曜日の夜の零時だ。小学校から私の悪い癖は、絶対的な最後まで宿題を先延ばしにする。この癖のせいで、日曜日でたくさん宿題をやらなければいけない。宿題の後、「らき☆すた」を観終わった。楽しかった。冗談とキャラクターと他のアニメの言及は面白い。それから、アニメの「かりん」を観始まった。吸血鬼のアニメだ。でも、女の主人公は血を吸わない、逆に血を注ぎ込む。

I have watched a series of videos from a famous uploader on YouTube. He is from Israel and graduated from Harvard. One of the videos that impressed me the most is clips introducing the Philippines. He said if let him choose a country to live in, the most suitable country is the Philippines. The reasons are the following three: first off, there is beautiful scenery in the country. Secondly, the stuff in the Philippines is very cheap. Third, people in the Philippines all speak English. I have never been to the Philippines. I didn't know if he was telling the truth. Anyway, if I had time, I would go there to verify the matter. Is that possible? Who knows?

Hoy vi un tiburón en la naturaleza por la primera vez. Era pequeño y blanco, y estaba nadando cerca del malecón. Mi padre lo notó primero porque estaba llevando gafas polarizadas y podía ver su aleta dorsal a través de las olas. Me hace muy feliz que he visto este animal en su hábitat natural (pero parecía solo y triste... me pregunto si tiene algún amigo).

Um dia em Brasil

Para começar, quero que você saiba que eu sou um gringo total. Já foi a America Latina, mas só estive na Guatemala, Costa Rica, e no El Salvador. Eu quero muito ir a Brasil quando possa, mas a situação é muito complicada pelo do virus. Se poderia ir a Brasil amanhã, iria à cidade de Brasilia porque é o capital do país. Em Brasil tem muitos tipos de comida que eu quero provar, sobretudo o pão de queijo, mas o que quero fazer mais é falar com a gente do Brasil. Eu comecei estudar o português há quatro meses, mas eu gostaria muito de falar com gente que tem muitos sotaques variados é logo melhorar o meu português. Finalmente, eu quero entender como é a vida no Brasil. A minha vida aqui nos EUA é algo muito diferente a vida no Brasil, mas eu quero entender que significa ser brasileiro. Acho que realmente, estar em Brasil é a única maneira de aprender sobre o ritmo de vida brasileiro. Algum dia estarei aí e espero que seja em breve.

"El rey de los telares"

"El rey de los telares" es un libro clásico y fue escrito por un autor británico. En la historia, una guerra nuclear ha forzado el gobierno británico evacuar a la mayoría de la población. Sin embargo, no dice muchas detalles sobre esa. El libro enfoca en un grupo de niños que sobreviven en una isla después de la destrucción de su avión de evacuación. El autor pensaba que hay mal dentro de todo el mundo y solo necesita la situación correcta para controlarnos. Hace sus pensamientos claro por toda la historia. Los niños intentan crear una civilización pero pronto se peleaban y destruirla. No creo que todo el mundo es malvado. Espero que el autor lo equivoque.

Movie Review - Kiki's Delivery Service

Kiki's Delivery Service is a 1989 Japanese animated film. It is written, produced, and directed by Hayao Miyazaki, and it's adapted from the 1985 novel by Eiko Kadono. Kiki is a 13-years-old witch and, like all the other witches, she must leave her house and move to another city. By so, she can start her training process. Kiki is a very impulsive girl with a golden heart. She starts her journey accompanied by her talking black cat, Jiji. He is witty and makes the movie experience better with his short but neat comments. She loves helping people and wants to find out how she can use her powers to do that.
After she arrives at the new city, she decides to start a delivery service with the help of Osono, a bakery owner. She travels across the city with Jiji at her broom and delivers her client’s requests. She meets a few people who play an important role in her maturity journey. Ursula, a painter who lives in the middle of a forest. Madame and Barsa, two old women who request Kiki’s services. Tombo Kopoli, an aviation fanatic, who wanted to be Kiki’s friend since they first met. At the start, she thought he was "a discourteous boy" but soon they become close friends.
At a certain point in the plot, Kiki realizes that her powers are fading. She can’t fly and understand what Jiji says anymore. She feels depressed and without purpose since she had to suspend her business for a while. Feeling insecure, frustrated, and not finding so much happiness in what it was supposed to be her life goal. It’s like she lost her personal and professional purpose, her sense of self. A lot of people can relate to that part because that’s something inherent in life, even if it’s supposed to be only a children’s movie.
One day, she encounters Ursula again. The painter counsels her and suggests that what Kiki's going through is like an artistic creative block. She must refound her purpose, take care of herself, and trust in her spirit. During a visit to Madame and Barsa, Kiki sees on the television that her friend Tombo is in danger. An airship accident leaves Tombo hanging from a drifting vessel's mooring lines.
This event motivates her to use her powers again. Se is able to regain her confidence and to remember why she flies. She regains her inspiration and trust in her own spirit. This movie is a sensible representation of the growing up process. I definitely recommend it to all ages. You can watch it on a rainy day, with all your family together. Or just by yourself. You’ll enjoy it in the same way and fly with Kiki across the winds of life.

Police Academy – Dümmer als die Polizei erlaubt

Heute habe ich mir diesen Film mit meiner Mutter auf Netflix angeschaut. Es ist ein sehr alter Film und ich habe ihn gesehen, als ich ein kleines Kind war. Vielleicht habe ich viele Male gesehen, weil er während ein paar Jahren mehrmals im Fernsehen ausgestrahlt wurde. Es ist einigermaßen interessant, solche alte Filme zu sehen. Es war eine Zeit, wo es kein Internet und Handys gab.Es gibt auch sehr nicht geeignete Witze oder Szenen. Ich meine, Szene, die heutzutage nicht als positiv gehalten würden. Viele Kritiken hätte alte Filme bekommen, wenn sie heute ausgestrahlt würden, genauso wie ursprünglich hergestellt wurden.

Je ne crois en la grammaire

Je n'ai jamais dedié une grande attention à la grammaire des langues. Quand j'apprendis l'anglais, je le fis en lisant et en écoutant beaucoup sans m'arreter à étudier pourquoi on utilisait tel ou tel temps verbal ou un autre. Et ça a marché bien...pour l'anglais.
Maintenant, j'apprend le français et j'ai essaié de faire la même chose. Mais cette fois les choses sont très differents. Bien sûr, je suis capable d'écouter et éntendre presque tout, mais je ne sais pas comment écrire! Mais pourquoi ma méthode ne marche pas désormais?
Je pense que c'est parce que le français est une langue beaucoup plus complexe que l'anglais, et je ne puis pas me passer sans apprendre ses règles! C'est dommage, mais je dois me mettre au travail et commencer à étudier très dure!

Die Kunst!

Ehrlich gesagt, ich habe keine Ahnung von Kunst. Als ich 18 war, lernte ich Gesichte von Menschen zu zeichnen. Ich lernte das, da meine Geschwister mir sagte, ich kann Gesichte nicht zeichnen. Meine Geschwister können sehr gut zeichnen. Deshalb traf ich die Entscheidung, es zu lernen. Ich ging zu einem Künstler, das Zeichnen zu erlernen.

Nach einem Monat konnte ich die Gesichte von Menschen von ihren Bildern zeichnen. Ich war sehr froh und meine Geschwister waren ebenfalls erstaunt. Ich dachte, ich kann lernen, was ich will.

Третья глава книги "Азазель"

В тритьей главе книги "Азазель", специальный следователь из Петербурга приехал чтобы руководить расследование. Его звали Бриллинг, и хотя он ещё был молодой, он уже был очень уважаемым на работе. Он пришёл к дому Фандорина чтобы узнать об убийстве Ахтырцева и Амалии Бежецкой.

Фандорин объяснил Бриллингу что Амалия очень опасная, особенно для молодых романтиков. Бриллинг думал что возможно "Азазаель" - террористическая организация, и что Амалия одна из их членов. Фандорин предложил расследовать леди Эстер, ведь она получил много денег от смерти Ахтырцева и Кокорина. Бриллинг разрешил Фандорина разговаривать с ней.

Оказалось, что леди Эстер была седой дамой, которая воспитывала сирот. Она была приятной и доброй Фандорину, и ему сразу понравилась она. Она показала Фандорину свой эстернат и познакомился Фаднорин с учителями. Фандорин больше не подозревал леди Эстер.

Фандорин возвратился в кабинет Бриллинг и всё рассказал. Бриллинг предложил Фандорин узнать больше о друге Амалии Бежецкой - очень опасной граф по фамилии Зуров. Люди часто собирались у дома Зурова чтобы играть в карты. Бриллинг хотел чтобы Фандорин прийти на игру Зурова как тайный агент и узнать как больше можно об этом графом.
