Skönare sömn
Den som vänder och vrider sig hela natten i sängen vet alldeles mycket om hur viktigt bra sömn är. Det påverkar produktivitet på arbetslivet och dessutom orsaker huvudvärker och mycket utmattning. Emellertid så är det faktisk ett problem som kan lösas. Första klivet är att inte tänka att problemen ofixerbar. Det absolut kan lösas. Det behövs bara att diagnostisera orsakan och sedan förhindra den. Inuti denna artikeln diskuteras tre anledgningar till dålig sömn och sätt att fixa den så sömnkvalitetet kan förbättras.
Nämligen kan det vara att hjärnan blir förvirrad om man sover på olika tider varje natt. Följ en specifik sömnschema. Sov på natten eftersom den är naturliga tiden att sova när det ser mörkt ut. Släck av ljuset på nattiden om möjligt. Anledgningen är att konstgjortljus tecker till hjärnan att det är inte ännu nattiden, så det är viktigt att försöka använda naturligtljus på huset för att sova gott.
Ät middag varken för sent eller för tidigt om dygnet. Om man äter middagen för tidigt blir en hungrig när det är tid att sova. Om det är för sent då blir en för mätt att lägga sig ner på sängen. Magont kan man också få. Dessutom blir man alltför energiskt på grund av sockern på maten då blir det också ju desto svårare att sova.
Det kan vara att man känner sig spänd eller nervös som gör att tankarna lugnar inte sig när man vill sova. Gör något avkopplande en timme innan sovtiden, beroende på vad man känns bäst att släppa av med. Kanske är det att bada i varmt vatten, eller att dricka te. Vad som helst som känns bäst för individen!
Hur länge bör man sova? En del anser att rekommenderade tiden är 6 timmar fastän de flesta påstår det att vara 8 timmar.

Writing Prompt - rough patch in relationship
Rachelle clutched the bouquet of roses in her hand nervously. She had had a heated fight with her boyfriend, Michael, over the phone a few days ago because he has been too busy with work to hang out with her. She had shouted at him, arguing that she felt lonely at home and missed him. Michael tried to explain that his job was important to him, so he can't see her as often. However, Rachelle refused to understand his feelings, and out of anger, said that she doesn't think he loves her anymore. Which wasn't true; Rachelle was just caught up in the moment and didn't think too much about what she had said. But Michael became frustrated and hung up the phone, leaving her in guilt.
After that, Rachelle decided to buy some roses, his favorite flower, and go to his house to hopefully fix things. She stood there, waiting at his doorstep, and taking a deep breath, rung the doorbell. After a few seconds, the door creaked open to reveal Michael in his pajamas.
"Hey..." Rachelle starts, and Michael gives her a puzzled look. "Rachelle? What are you doing here?" He asks. "Well, the truth is... I wanted to apologize for yesterday. I should've tried to understand your situation instead of yelling at you. I'm sorry, and I hope you can forgive me." Rachelle explains, bending over and handing him the roses. Michael slowly takes them and grins. "They're beautiful... thank you so much. And don't worry, I forgive you." He replies and wraps Rachelle in a tight hug.

Viajar
Ya llevan pasados dos años desde que viajé la última vez. ¡No estoy acostumbrado a estar en solo un lugar durante tanto tiempo! Creo que el aprendizaje de idiomas me ha sido uno de lo más importante. Sin ello, no creo que aún tenga mi cordura. El viaje siempre era una manera de relajarme y experimentarme la vida en áreas distintas. Aunque ahora mismo no lo pueda hacer, espero que regrese, con todo lo normal, en 2022.
En inglés, tenemos una palabra que no se traduce fácilmente. Se llama "wanderlust" y básicamente es una pasión de viajar. Sin embargo, no solo es una pasión, sino un ansia o deseo. No estás cómodo cuando te quedas en un lugar para demasiado tiempo. Opino que siempre lo hemos sentido, puesto que durante miles de años éramos una especie nómada. A pesar de esto, no era sencillo viajar antes de la era industrial. ¡Tenías que caminar o montar un caballo para ir a cualquier lugar! Gracias a innovaciones como los tres y aviones, ahora podemos visitar a muchos lugares con facilidad.
Pienso que debería haber más caridades que ofrecen viajes gratis a niños pobres. Aunque no parezca útil, es importante que todo el mundo se experimentan nuevas culturas y modas de vida. Opino que les sería benéfico, y les darían oportunidades nuevas. Suena muy privilegiado, pero creo que todo el mundo debería poder viajar, no solo los súper rico ni los que sacrifican mucho para hacerlo.

Schönheitsoperationen
Über Schönheitsoperationen habe ich eine stärke Meinung. Ich persönlich bin der Meinung, dass Schönheitsoperationen weder nicht so gut noch nicht so schlimm sind. Beispielsweise, wenn jemand durch einen Unfall körperlich beeinträchtigt ist, oder wenn jemand wegen eines Unfalls eine Körpermissbildung bekommen hat. In diesen Fällen finde ich, dass diese Operation das Leben von diesen Personen verbessern könnten, damit sie wieder ein wenig Normalität erlangen können.
Aber wenn es um Leute geht, die diese Operationen nur für Kosmetikgründe durchführen lassen wollen, bin ich der Meinung, dass es sich nicht lohnt. Diese Personen haben Probleme mit ihrem Selbstvertrauen und sich operieren lassen, wird nicht ihr Selbstwertgefühl erhöhen, weil ihre ästhetische Probleme einen völlig seelischen Grund haben.

Uno
Uno ist ein Kartenspiel. Zuerst nimmt jeder Spieler fünf Karten, und die anderen Karten sind in den Stapel in der Mitte gestellt. Dann legt der erste Spieler eine Karte in die Mitte ab. Die Karte sind vier Farben und haben zehn Nummer. Der nächste Spieler muss eine Karte mit der gleichen Farbe oder Nummer über diese Karte ablegen. Falls der Spieler keine Karte mit der gleichen Farbe oder Nummer haben, dann muss er eine Karte von dem Stapel zu ziehen. Es gibt auch anderen Karten: "eine Runde aussetzen", "nehmen Sie mehr Karten", dass das Spiel viel spaß machen. Der Gewinner muss zuerst alle seine Karten loswerden.

Les verbes russes
Je suis en train d'étudier une structure grammaticale que la plupart des personne trouvent très compliqué, peut-être même impossible. Ce sont les verbes de mouvement, qui sont beaucoup plus difficile en russe qu'en anglais ou en français. En français, on peut utiliser le verbe "aller" pour décrire un large spectre d'actions. Il va dehors, je me suis allée au magasin pour acheter quelque chose, elle voudrait aller en France, nous allons en voiture, ils vont en bateau, etcétéra. En anglais, c'est presque la même chose. Mais en russe, il y a des dizaines de verbes pour décrire ça, commençant par le mode de transport. Si on marche, on utilise un groupe de verbes, mais si on va en voiture, on utilise un autre groupe, et ainsi de suite. En plus, chaque verbe existe en deux versions : le verbe parfait et l'imparfait. Mais pour les verbes de motions, il y a encore des autres versions pour les mouvements unidirectionnels et multidirectionnels. Et comme si cela ne suffisait pas, on peut mettre plus d'une dizaine de préfixes pour préciser les autres aspects du mouvement. Vous voyez pourquoi les élèves de russe détestent ce système.
La première fois que j'ai essayé de comprendre cette thème, j'étais complètement perdue. J'ai finalement abandonné cet but et passé à autre chose. La deuxième fois s'est passé un peu mieux, parce que j'étais inscrite dans un cours de russe avec un excellent professeur. Elle a créé une pléthore d'exercices et feuilles de travail pour nous aider à comprendre. J'ai amélioré ma compréhension grâce à son aide, mais je continuais à faire des petits erreurs de temps en temps.
Enfin, la semaine dernière, j'avais dû faire un exercice pour ma classe de russe, et la plupart de mes réponses étaient faux. J'ai décidé qu'il est temps de maîtriser ce concept une fois pour toutes. J'ai déjà commencer à regarder des vidéos sur YouTube, et demain je parlerai avec mon partenaire d'échange linguistique. Souhaitez-moi bonne chance !

Mi gato nuevo
Viernes mi novia llevó nuestro gato nuevo Bandito al veterinario para la cirugía de extirpar los testículos. Bandito estaba el gato de su hermano, pero a ella le gusta y su hermano tiene otros gatos y un perro así que me convenció que Bandito sería más confortable en nuestro hogar. Cuando regresó del veterinario y Bandito aún estaba en el portador del gato, empezó a tener convulsiones. Había tenido ataques dos veces antes, pero no habíamos visto ellos así que estaba muy alarmante.
Corrí a la sala y logré retirar la tapa del portador de gato así que podemos envolver el gato en un manta o toalla. Aún estaba convulsionando y le sostenía en un manta lo mejor podía. El pobrísimo gatito -- había llenado su vejiga y estaba tratando de vomitar. Entonces había de parar las convulsiones porque sin aviso me mordió y se resbaló de mi alcance.
Si has sido mordido por un gato en juego, no es como un mordido verdad de un gato loco con miedo. Tres dientes perforaron mi piel y sangré inmediatamente. Arrastré el gato vuelto en mis brazos y le volvía envolver mientras mi novia limpió mi brazo y puso ointment y Band-Aids sobre ello.
Llevamos a Bandito vuelto al vet para le observar y dijeron que estaba bueno ahora, el ataque estaba a causo de estrés y/o azúcar de sangre bajo por el ayuno precirugía. La próxima mañana iba al doctor para obtener antibióticos, hay de hacer esto porque un mordido de un gato puede ser malísimo si se pone infectado.
En fin, ser dueño de mascotas es siempre una aventura pero vale la pena, no culpo Bandito para la mordida y estoy feliz que lo tengo.

My pal David
I have a pal in Florida, an old American, who helps me a lot with my English. We met each other quite a while ago, when I was practicing my English on Italki. David didn't learn anything, he simply spent his time helping learners from all over the world with studying English. At that time, I was preparing to travel to the States to teach at two universities as a Fulbright Visiting Scholar. We had numerous talks on Skype during which my friend told me about his family, American politics, movies et cetera. David was quite talkative, as any retired person, and I often listened to him, thinking deep down "Oh, man, don't you want to pause for a second to give me a chance to say a word or two?" Later on, I realized that I should have simply stopped him to have that chance, and things got better.
When I was in the States - the trip, which lasted for 8 months - David often helped me with his suggestions, and a couple of times his tips were really useful, they worked out. By the end of my residence, he invited me to his house in Florida, but, unfortunately, I wasn't able to visit him. He was upset. However, when I came back to Russia, we kept talking on Skype and messaging each other. Messaging became my favorite practice, since I was allowed to message him 24 hours per day. I learned a lot from his messages, and things that I learned were real American language - with slang, idioms and expressions you'd never learn from textbooks.
At the moment David doesn't respond me, as a month ago he took a decision of having a lengthy meditation retreat - the longest he'd ever had. It demotivated me and I still feel bored. Our chats turned out to be something really valuable. I hope I'll see his messages sooner or later, and I'd like to thank everyone who corrects my notes. Thank you for your time and patience!

Le culte du travail
Pour la majorité de la population mondiale, passer ses journées au travail est le sort inéluctable. Seulement quelques personnes sont assez chanceux de l'éviter, principalement parce qu'ils sont nés au richesse et intègrent le gratin de société à partir de leurs naissances. Les autres, ils atteignent quelquefois ce niveau par le truchement de leurs efforts, ou au moins, c'est la version officielle. Ce qu'on peut dire sans hésitation c'est que le culte du travail existe vraiment dans cultures variées répandues autour de la planète.
Aux États-Unis, le source de cette conviction c'est l'éthique protestante, qui vient d'Evangile - selon laquelle, l'homme devra suer au travail pendant sa vie pour purger sa peine, condamné pour avoir commis le péché originel. Donc, pour rejoindre les rangs des prédestinés à être sauvé au jour de jugement, il faut travailler dur. Bien sûr, tous n'étaient pas d'accord avec cette interprétation - le docteur King a dit que la prospérité américaine était un résultat d'exploitation, et pas la mythique éthique protestante. Mais l'admiration pour celles qui travaillent beaucoup dure encore dans ce pays.
Le cas de quelques pays d'Extrême Orient est un peu plus... extrême. Même s'il est interdit par la loi, il y a des entreprises en Chine qui pratiquent le modèle «996», ça veut dire, bosser de 9 heures du matin jusqu'à 9 heures du soir, six jours par semaine. À l'autre côté de la mer de Chine orientale, au Japon, un terme très bouleversant a été inventé - «Karōshi», qui signifie «mort par dépassement du travail». Il ne fait pas partie du jargon médical, plutôt il décrit un problème social vivant - par simplifier, le phénomène se traite des décès des travailleurs qui meurent à la suite des périodes pendant lesquelles ils ont travaillé jusqu'à 110 heures hebdomadaires. Sa délivrance, c’est souvent une crise cardiaque.
Je ne voudrais pas m'imposer contre une culture ou un autre, mais selon mon avis, il ne faut pas vivre seulement pour travailler... il y doit avoir quelque chose en plus dans la vie que ça.

Mi país, mi pueblo y mi ciudad natal
Nací en Inglaterra y por el momento aún vivo ahí. En el pasado creí que el país fue aburrido. No tiene ninguna cultura. Nuestra historia sola es sobre las cosas malas que hacíamos al países extranjeros. No estoy orgulloso de mi historia. Guerra después de guerra... colonialismo. Pero con tiempo entiendo más que mi cultura actual es interesante incluso si es aburrida. Aún es una cultura.
Si viajas pueblo a pueblo o ciudad a ciudad... puedes conocer a gente de varios tipos. Por un país tan pequeño hay una variadad de acentos. Puedo viajar menos de treinta minutos por carro y el acento es diferente. O puedo viajar al norte y hay nuevos tipos de edificios. El sur tiene espacios verdes y anchos, mientras el norte tiene calles delgadas con ladrillos rojos.
En mi pueblo hay una casa tudor donde King Henry VIII vivía a veces. En el pueblo al lado de mío hay un hotel donde que se quedaba a menudo. También hay un búnker nuclear de la guerra fría. Es donde que la ministra prima de ese tiempo (Maggie Thatcher) tendría que ir si una guerra nuclear empezó. Es extraño ahí... mucha gente cree que hay fantasmas de los trabajadores que lo hecho.
Pero este pueblo donde que vivo ahora mismo no es mi ciudad natal. No está lejos de aquí pero es muy diferente estos días. Cuando nací la ciudad era un pueblo grande. Hace unos años algunas personas importantes decidieron que es una ciudad. Después de esto hicieron muchos edificios nuevos y la ciudad se volvió muy moderna. Me encanta mi ciudad natal. Siempre va a tener un lugar especial en mi corazón :)
