The story of ratnag part-3
Eagle 1:
No, my lord! She is telling the truth.
Naeena:
I can prove it. I saw the black jackal who ran into the jungle.
Follow me, I will show you the jackal's footprints.
So, the king and the eagle followed the footprints of the jackal with the help of Naeena.
At the waterfall, the footprints were missing, so they concluded that the jackal was the killer.
Eagle 2:
Forgive us, Miss. We wanted to harm you due to a misunderstanding.
Eagle 2:
We couldn’t even take care of our own child. So, please my lord, give us permission to go to our nest.
King Akram:
Take care of your children. You can go, Miss. Shall I help you reach your city?
Naeena:
No thanks, my lord. I will go by myself.
King Akram:
Your choice. Take care.
After King Akram and the eagles left, Naeena turned into a witch.
Witch:
I thought today was my last day, but the king came at the right time.
So that I can manipulate the eagles.
Then the witch called her pet, who was the black jackal.
His name was “Kalu.” Who brought the two eagle children in his mouth.
Then the witch and the eagles disappeared.

English Learning routine
I'm a Brazilian guy, and my goal over the last months has been to work for an overseas company. But first of all, I need to improve my skills in the English language, because there's no point in knowing the technique if I can't communicate, right?
So every day I've tried to study for one hour on a different aspect of communication:
- listening:
- I've tried to watch series, films and music in English with subtitles too to help me understand the words that I don't know.
- writing:
- Today I started to write using the Lang platform, because I think that when we put the words on paper, we think about how grammatically correct the message needs to be, and not just pass the message as when we are talking.
- talking:
- I need to practice what I've learned and try to make myself understandable, so I've been doing classes with an American teacher and also using the Cambly platform to get used to different English accents.

CrossFit
Je fais du CrossFit trois fois par semaine depuis presque deux ans. On fait les mouvements comme les pompes, les tractions et le position accroupie, on court et fait de la musculation.
Quand je l’ai commencé, c’était très dur et j’étais épuisée après chaque classe, mais maintenant je suis plus forte et je l’apprécie bien. Je me sens en plus bonne santé et j’ai plus d’énergie.
Je pense que tous les efforts que vous avez fournis au début en vaudront la peine plus tard.

Mt. Houraiji in Aichi Prefecture 鳳来寺
I had long known that my ancestor, General Takeda Shingen, stayed for a while at Mt. Hōraiji in Aichi Prefecture before his death. Yesterday, for the first time in some decades, I visited the place. An elderly man at the tourist information center kindly explained to me where General Shingen had stayed. Just learning that made me happy.
When I told him that I was a descendant of the general, he shared various stories with me. I thought he was a truly respectable man, with a dignified appearance and good posture.

Lake Eyre
Le lac « Lake Eyre » est situé dans l’état d’Australie méridionale dans une région très sèche et désertique. Ce lac est énorme, avec une taille de 144 kms par 77 kms. Ce lac est le plus grand lac en Australie. Néanmoins, ce lac est aussi bien connu pour deux autres raisons. La première raison, c’est un lac de l’eau salée, formé il y a quasiment 200 millions d’années. Et la deuxième raison, le lac se situe dans le point le plus bas sous le niveau de la mer.
Il y pleut rarement. La région ne reçoit qu’en moyenne environ 140 mm de pluie. Cependant, parfois, le lac se transforme à une grande mer intérieure (inland sea) et c’est magique.
Cette année à cause des tempêtes et des inondations le lac déborde et j’ai eu la chance de prendre un vol au-dessus. J’étais stupéfaite, à perte de vue, il y avait les eaux scintillantes, des poissons, des oiseaux de toutes couleurs et le long du lac un tapis de fleurs sauvages.

Uluru
Uluru est considéré comme le cœur spirituel et culturel par les peuples autochtones. C’est un énorme rocher rouge et monolithique qui s’élève au milieu du désert. Il mesure 348 mètres de haut qui est plus haut que la tour Eiffel et le pyramide de Giza.
Le rocher est emblématique. Selon les guides touristiques, à lever et coucher du soleil, cet énorme rocher brille d’un rouge vif. J’ai vu des images et c’est incroyable. Uluru se situe quasiment au centre de l’Australie, dans le Territoire du Nord. La plus grande ville appelée Alice Springs se trouve à 450 kms. L’endroit est surnommé le « Red Centre ». J’ai lu des articles sur Uluru et bien que ce soit une région désertique, il abrite de nombreuses espèces d’animaux et d’oiseaux notamment des dingos et des kangourous.
Apparemment, Uluru a commencé à se solidifier il y a 550 millions d’années. C’est hallucinant ! Les archéologues ont trouvé des preuves que des autochtones vivaient à proximité, il y a plus de 300 000 ans.

My Sleep was a "BIT" Better
After reading "Why We Sleep" by Matthew Walker.
He's a author, scientist and professional of neuroscience and psychology at the University of California.
He's been known for his popular book "Why We Sleep" - #1 Best Seller book in Neuroscience.
The most important action you need to sleep better, the only thing has the most impact onto your health.
To demonstrate, we have a thing in our body called circadian clock, which determine when you feel tired, awake.
We are creatures of habit, which is difficult when we try to shift our sleep schedule.
So, by Walker's recommendations, if you can only remember one rule.
The #1 you should remember of 12 Recommendations to get a good sleep for health:
Go to bed and wake up at the same time, everything, even in the weekend.
Sleep more in the weekend won't fix your bad quality sleep of the weekdays.
Because it't hard to immediately shift your sleep schedule in one day, like night-own into early-bird.
The safety way is to try to move your bedtime/ wake time 15-30 minutes earlier or later each day.
Or you can try the "3 days of Pain" by Andrew Huberman, you can easily search it on YouTube.
It worked for me, but it was painful xD
Also set an alarm for your bedtime, not only your wake up time.
(You can stop using your alarm to wake up, in some case it's can cause more beneficial to your health, and your heart - which I'll talk more in the future).
I was be able to shift my sleep schedule a bit, from 4-6PM into 3:30PM by yesterday, by only try change my sleep schedule, didn't take any more actions yet.
And I was waking up in 7pm, but then I got exhausted and somehow fall asleep for 1 hour in the mid day.
I will update my sleep health, tips I find that works, and how I apply into my life.

Goethe Prüfung B1, Teil 2: Feste Arbeitszeiten
Ich schließe mich Jessicas Meinung an. In jeder Situation gibt es einige Merkmale, die man berücksichtigen muss. Meiner Meinung nach sollten Arbeitgeber und Arbeitnehmer selbst verhandeln, was ihnen beiden am besten passt. Es gibt Nacht- und Morgenmenschen, manche haben Kinder oder andere Verpflichtungen. Es ist selbstverständlich, dass wenn Angestellter zufrieden mit ihren Tagesablauf sind, können sie deutlich produktiver sein. Meistens spielt dem Vorgesetzter keine Rolle, ob die Arbeitszeiten fest sind oder nicht. Ohne Zweifel gibt es auch Ausnahmen, z.B. Arbeitnehmer bei dem öffentlichen Verkehrsmittel oder in der Branche der Kundenbetruung. Allerdings gibt es in anderen Fallen keinen Unterschied. Daher bin ich der Ansicht, dass man diese Möglichkeit immer haben sollte, flexibe Arbeitszeiten zu einrichten.

Une exposition, dernière partie
Comme promis, j’aimerais parler des peuples autochtones qui vivaient en Australie quand la première flotte britannique est arrivée. L’exposition « Seeing Sydney Knowing Country » comprend des peintures de ces anciennes peuples autochtones.
À l’arrivée de la première flotte en 1788, les autochtones étaient stupéfaits. La question était qui sont ces étrangers? Ensuite les autochtones s’inquiétaient et s’est demandés pourquoi défrichent ces étrangers nos terres ? Puis, ils ont essayé d’être amis mais la relation s’est détériorée. Après quelques années, les colonisateurs ont commencé à chasser les autochtones. Une tâche horrible dans l’histoire de l’Australie.
En dehors des peintures, visiblement il y a un film, un documentaire qui met en évidence tout les événements de ces premières années : les défis, la tristesse, la colère les rêves des colonisateurs et des autochtones. Je suis allée voir l’exposition et j’ai bien apprécié les peintures et le documentaire.

Une exposition, deuxième partie
Dans mon dernier texte d’hier, j’ai parlé brièvement de la première arrivée des colonisateurs britanniques à Sydney. C’est un sujet qui m’intéresse. Grâce à mes recherches, j’ai identifié une exposition au Musée de Sydney. Elle est intitulée « Seeing Sydney Knowing Country ».
Selon la publicité, il y a de nombreux tableaux réalisés par les premiers colons. Ces tableaux montrent comment la ville de Sydney a été établie et a développé. Imaginez-vous, les premières peintures montrent les 11 navires de la première flotte et une campagne préservée. Peu à peu, l’histoire se déroule et des arbres sont abattus et des bâtiments apparaissent.
Demain, je voudrais parler de la réaction et l’impact de cette arrivée sur les peuples autochtones. La majorité de colonisateurs ont ignoré les autochtones, car ils étaient concentrés sur la construction d’une nouvelle vie dans un endroit étrange, loins de leur pays natal, l’Angleterre.

Descripción de La lechera
"La lechera" es otro óleo del pintor holandés Johannes Vermeer, quien también pintó "La joven de la perla". Representa a una mujer de pie junto a una mesa, vertiendo leche desde una jarra. La mujer, de complexión robusta, parece vestida de manera típica de una campesina o criada de la época. Tiene la tez clara y no parece llevar maquillaje. Su rostro muestra facciones jóvenes y vigorosas: frente amplia, nariz pequeña, labios gruesos y una barbilla partida.
Lleva una especie de gorra o cofia blanca. Su vestimenta es muy interesante y colorida: la parte superior del vestido es dorada, con toques rosados cerca de las costuras; las mangas combinan tonos verdes y azules; lleva una banda o delantal de azul intenso alrededor de la cintura, y su falda es de un rojo profundo. Parece muy concentrada en su tarea, mirando la jarra que sostiene con ambas manos y con las mangas arremangadas, dejando al descubierto unos antebrazos fuertes.
Hay cestas colgando de la pared y otra colocada sobre la mesa. En la cesta de la mesa hay pan, y sobre la superficie también se ven productos lácteos. En el suelo hay una pequeña caja de madera que al principio no pude identificar, así que tuve que investigar. Al parecer, es un tipo de calentador de pies que contenía brasas y se usaba en los Países Bajos. Se dice que representaba la excitación sexual, y si se observa con atención, los azulejos junto a donde está colocada muestran imágenes de Cupido.

Io e la mia famiglia mangeremo focaccia, che mio fratello sta cucinando. Stiamo parlando di sogni che abbiamo fatto. (when talking about dreams one has when sleeping, is fare really used?)
Già lo abbiamo mangiato, era bueno, ora ho voglia di vedere un film. Ma prima devo studiare un po’ di italiano e pensare che film voglio vedere. Magari uno d’amore. Devo anche stendere il bucato perché l’ho dimenticato.

È stata una settimana lunga, piena di impegni e delusioni. Comunque, oggi è l'inizio di qualcos'altro ed è ora di ricominciare.
Mi piacciono i nuovi inizi; benché non sia andato tutto come avrei voluto, non importa.
Spero di superare questo training: è importante andare avanti e avere un lavoro stabile.
Per questo motivo mi impegno, anche se a volte faccio fatica a prestare attenzione. Prendo appunti e faccio domande quando qualcosa non mi è chiaro.

الامتحان
ليس هناك شخص يحب الامتحان، ولكن نأخذ مئات منه خلال وقتنا في المدرسة. ليش مهمة خدا الامتحانات؟ واهناك طريقة احسن يظهر الاطفال فهمهم منها؟
أعي بأنّ الطلاب يأخذون إمتحانات في غالبية الدول لدخول الجامعات، ولكن في أمريكا هناك سيرورة مختلفة. على الرغم من هذا الفرق، فأنّنا ما زلنا نأخذ امتحان مهم اسمه س.ا.ت. وعندما نتقدّم طلبنا الى الجامعة فنعطي نتائجنا ايضا.

Warum mir Fremdsprachen Energie geben
Eine Aktivität, die mir richtig guttut, ist Schreiben auf Französisch, Deutsch und Spanisch, weil ich meine Gedanken in viele Fremdsprachen schreiben kann. Wenn ich einen Text auf meine Muttersprache, Englisch, schreibe, bin ich emotionaler, besonders mit meinem Trauma. Ich fühle viele Ängste, Traurigkeit und Wut, besonders wenn ich mich einige Erinnerungen von meinem Leben erinnere. Ich bin nicht sicher, all meine traumatischen Erinnerungen zu teilen. Allerdings bin ich weniger traumatisiert, wenn ich auf diese Fremdsprachen schreibe. Ich habe Französisch und Deutsch mit vielen Gruppen auf Meetup und an der Cornell-Universität gesprochen.
Meine Eltern sprechen nur eine Sprache aus ihrer Region auf den Philippinen, Philippinisch und Englisch. Das ist ein bisschen seltsam, dass ich nur ein bisschen Philippinisch spreche. In der Zukunft möchte ich Philippinisch lernen, weil es viele Möglichkeiten gibt, mit meiner Familie in dieser Sprache zu sprechen. Ich würde gern Philippinisch lernen, weil ich Filipina bin und ich mehr über meine Kultur zu lernen. Deswegen werde ich Philippinisch nach Deutsch, Spanisch und Norwegisch lernen.

Doing Projects
It's a really a good idea try some project that you are interested in, even if you aren't feeling totally capable to do so.
Here are some of the reasons: Motivation, self-esteem, confidence and happiness. As humans, we love the feeling of accomplishment but it often requires struggling at the beginning.
Some common areas for projects: tech, craft, cooking, art and videography.
To get started, you have two options: intuition-guided approach or asking some expert for coaching.
These are the steps that you'll likely follow: setting a goal, do some research, practice with small experiments and finish some capstone project.
As a last advice, don't expect to know "everything" to get started, it's better learn by doing.

Aprendiendo español entre risas y acentos
Para aprender español, me encantan los canales de YouTube, Dreaming Spanish y Spanish Language Coach, porque sus videos fueron muy divertidos. Por ejemplo, me encanta el video de Dreaming Spanish, cuando las personas hablan español con algunas frases de Duolingo. Aprendí algunas nuevas palabras en este video y río muchas veces. Además, aprendí muchos acentos de español de Latinoamérica. Antes solo escuchaba los acentos de España y México, pero ahora escucho más acentos de Latinoamérica como el acento de Colombia y el acento de Argentina. Pienso que los acentos de Colombia y México son un poco más claros que el acento de España. Sin embargo, siempre amaré el acento de España porque es genial y amable.
Además, me gusta Spanish Language Coach porque aprendí mucho sobre la cultura española y la americanización de España. Ahora, escucho un episodio de Spanish Language Coach, “¿Porque qué hay tantas personas con TDAH?” Este episodio es muy importante para mí porque tengo TDAH y pienso que es muy difícil de concentrar, especialmente cuando hacer muchas tareas. Antes mi diagnóstico, perdí siempre mis cosas y hablaba demasiado. Gracias a él, aprendí más sobre la perspectiva de un Español con la cultura americana. Estoy interesada sobre las perspectivas de otros países con los Estados Unidos. Quiero escuchar más episodios de este canal en el futuro.
