New balcony
The property management company removed the old balcony of my apartment today and installed a new balcony at the same time.
My new balcony has a new roof, new railings, and new floors.
There is a nest of pigeons under the eaves of the old balcony, the nest was removed together with the old balcony.
It is very hard to survive without a nest to the pigeons in winter, so my husband put a box on the balcony's floor.
Hoping that the pigeons will treat the box as a nest.

0411. Hur ofta påverkas jag av reklam?
Inte alls!
Jag brukar inte ens titta mycket på reklamen, huruvida de dyker upp på tv, tidningar eller i gatorna. När man gör valet att inte bli en konsument längre ändras mycket livet. Man blir inte påverkad längre att köpa de nya kläderna i Zara, försöka de nya hamburgarna i Burger King, etc. Man behöver göra smarta val och inte styras av sina önskningar.
När jag vill köpa något frågar jag mig själv tre saker:
1. Är det något som jag verkligen behöva?
2. Är det något som jag verkligen vill ha?
3. Är det något som jag verkligen ska använda?
Om jag svara ”ja” till två av dessa frågor kan jag köpa det. Om det är bara en ”ja” tvingar jag mig själv att vänta några dagar innan jag tar ett beslut. Om jag tänker på den saken under veckan ska jag då köpa den den nästa gången jag ser det.
Jag har gjort detta i de förra 5 åren och det fungerar bra.

Sandales de plage
Aujourd'hui quand j'étudiais avec un document sonore en français, il y avait une partie que je n'ai pas du tout comprise. Ce document parlait de la sandale de plage, mais comprenait des mots comme des méduses, des escarpins et des ballerine, qui me paraissaient rien à voir avec la sandale de plage.
J'ai posé cette question à mon professeur de français, et il m'a appris qu'en France, il y a des sandales en plastique souvent destinées aux enfants pour ne pas se couper leurs pieds, et elles sont considérés comme un peu moches. Mais le document sonore expliquait que la situation change récemment et maintenant les consommateurs les percevoient des éléments de fashion, en raison de l'évolution de la technologie comme l'injection de plastique et la participation de marques célèbres, tel que Chloé et GUCCI.
En obtenant ces informations, j'ai acquis un nouveau schéma sur la culture française, et ça me permettra de comprendre facilement des documents du même sujet. Cet événement m'a fait reprendre conscience qu'apprendre une langue consiste aussi d'apprendre sa culture où elle est née et est en train d'évoluer.

Another day
Right, so today was a cool day. I had fun playing with my mates on the newly released beta of a PC game (which sadly will only be available for 5 days), which is supposed to come until next year. I rarely have the chance anymore to play with friends (due to timezones differences and general lack of time) so days like these make me quite happy.

Nico
Mein name ist Gabriel, vor einem Jahr habe ich Deutsch gelernt ,weil ich im Juni oder Mai mit meiner Freundind Deutschtland gehe.
Mein Plan ist Deutschkurs in Bayern machen , jetzt bin ich ein sprachniveau A2 mache aber ohne Deutschkurs lerne ich für mich und etwas helfe ich mir mit Nico. Wer ist Nico? Nico ist die Hauptfigur von ein Filme, die Filme können ihr auf Youtube oder Dw.com.de suchen, die Filme sind am bessten für Deutsch hören. Die Geschichte fängt im Flughafen an wo er verliert seine Tasche dann kennt er Lisa, Lisa ist ein Lehrerin von Deutsch dass, sie ihn seine Tasche hilft.
Nico hat fur alle sprachniveau von Deutsch, zu beispiel A1,A2,B1 oder B2, Ich empfehle für das Dutsch aufbessern.

Mein Vater hat Krebs
Ich habe gestern erfahren, dass mein Vater Krebs hat. Ich glaube, es sieht nicht gut aus. Sie haben mir nicht vieles erklärt, aber die Ärzte haben gesagt, dass er wahrscheinlich seit einem Jahr Krebs hat. Der Krebs hat in seine Lunge angefangen und dann zu anderer Körperteile expandiert. Ich fühl mich so traurig. Es gibt nichts, dass ich darüber machen kann. Ich muss natürlich positiv bleiben aber das ist so schwer. Ich hätte nie gedacht, dass meine Eltern an irgendeiner Krankheit sterben würden. Ich dachte immer, dass sie sterben würden, wenn sie alt sind. Ich stelle mir vor, wie es ohne meinen Vater auf dieser Welt wäre und nur diese Vorstellung reicht, um mich zum Weinen zu bringen. Ich glaube nicht an Gott oder Himmel. Ich glaube nicht, dass etwas Schlimmes passiert, wenn wir sterben. Vielleicht passiert etwas Gutes, nachdem wir gestorben sind. Ich habe keine Ahnung, wie alle Menschen, die vor mir gelebt haben. Ich frage mich, warum bin ich eigentlich traurig? Für mich oder für meinen Vater? Ich meine, wie ich gesagt habe, ich weiß nicht, was nach dem Tod passiert ist. Bin ich traurig, weil ich ihn nie wieder sehen werde oder weil er nicht mehr auf dieser Welt leben dürfte? Wahrscheinlich beides.
Ich glaube, dass es wird auch sehr schlimm sein während er Chemotherapie macht. Ich habe eine Verwandte gesehen, als sie die Chemotherapie jahrelang durchmachte. Sie war immer sehr müde und sah schlecht aus. Sie war auch nicht sehr glücklich wegen den Schmerzen. Auch wenn er den Krebs überlebt, erscheint der Heilungsprozess so schmerzhaft und langwierig. Aber natürlich gibt es keinen anderen Weg jetzt. Er muss die Chemotherapie anfangen. Ich hoffe, dass alles gut geht und er heilt.

The Recent Big Step of Homo Sapiens
Our current life expectancy is between 60 and 80 years, depending on the country. A human life happens in the blink of an eye when compared to the age of the universe, being around 13.8 billion years. Some might say that our life is meaningless because we will most probably be forgotten.
We are part of the human species—the one that can make extraordinary things of which would previous generations only dream. The one that is exploring the universe and trying their best to recognize how it works. Even if our individual contribution is small, it still matters. Over centuries, our race will accumulate more and more knowledge and do things that we haven't done before. I like to think that we should do the best that we are capable of. I really want to see where we'll be in 50 years or more. I hope I'll still be here to see it, even if it's just a tiny fraction of the history of humankind. I want to know what awaits us in the future, and I want to participate in creating it.
Just think how the lives of humans changed in the past twenty years. Information sharing has increased enormously with the arrival of computers and the Internet. We can learn as never before, we can use computational power as never before. And all that came just in the past few decades. Homo sapiens have inhabited the earth for about 200 thousand years. And it was in the past few decades that this huge happened. This is exciting.

Villes aux Antilles et la protection des littoraux
Selon un journal sur OpenEditionJournals (https://journals.openedition.org/dynenviron/682), le développement d’une île, en général, commence en son centre. Comme un spirale, elle pousse vers l'extérieur. Cependant, les Antilles sont un peu différentes. Elles ont beaucoup de montagnes qui empêchent le développement de ces villes-là. Au lieu, c’est vers la côte de ces îles que la plupart du développement se produit. Malheureusement, à cause de l’essor du tourisme et la délicatesse de ces environs, le développement et tourisme sont très destructeur
pour ces littoraux précieux.

Czasami się pojawia też tęcza w złych dniach
Dzisiaj otrzymałem mejl. Znalazłem go w wiadomości-śmieci i już prawie go usunąłem. Mejl pochodził od organizatorów konkursu literackiego, w którym uczestniczyłem zeszłego miesiąca. W nim napisali, że na ich stronie internetowej opublikowali imiona finalistów. W załączniku było zdjęcie i na nim napisane "jestem finalistą, trzymajcie za mnie kciuki", a w mejlu było napisane "ten mejl dosięga wszystkich uczestników, finalistów oraz nie". W sumie mejl był trochę dziwny: z jednej strony wyglądało, jakbym był finalistą konkursu i zapraszaliśmy mnie do ceremonii wręczenia nagród, ale z drugiej było to podkreślone zdanie, mówiąc, że mejl otrzymali wszyscy uczestnicy i że musiałem sprawdzić ich stronę, by wiedzieć, czy byłem finalistą, czy nie.
Ostatnio nie czułem się bardzo dobrze. Jestem zastresowane i trochę smutny przez wiele rzeczy. Szczerze mówiąc nie sądziłem, że dałem sobie radę. Napisałem zresztą opowiadanie w tydzień i nie było jedno z moich najlepszych opowiadań. Uczestniczyłem nieraz w tych konkursach i tylko raz moje opowiadanie zostało opublikowane. Nie miałem wiele oczekiwań. W końcu zobaczyłem, że moje imię pojawia się na liście finalistów i jestem z tego bardzo rad. Podczas ceremonii wręczenia nagród ogłoszą imię zwycięzcy. Zwycięzca będzie miał kontrakt z wydawnictwem, by opublikować swoją powieść, zbiór opowiadań lub swój wiersz. Finalista w drugim miejsce otrzyma tablicę pamiątkową i rysunek związany do jego/jej utworu. Finalista w trzecim miejsce otrzyma i on tablicę pamiątkową. Jest również możliwość wygrać specjalną nagrodę: puchar. Wszyscy inni mają certyfikat zasług.
Wszystkie opowiadania i wiersze będą opublikowane. W sekcji powieści, tylko zwycięzca opublikuje swoją. To znaczy, że nawet jeśli nie wygram (jesteśmy 30 finalistów, nie myślę, że mam szansy), opublikują moje opowiadanie.

毎日の課題
最後の投稿以来もう7ヶ月経っていたんだね。前に訂正してくれた人たちはまだいたらうれしいけど、もしいなくなってしまったらしかたないな。この7ヶ月で、仕事でいろいろ忙しかったが、それは言い訳に過ぎないと思う。忙しくても勉強する時間があると思う。例えば毎日１５分だとしても。さてと、本題に入っていきたいと。毎日の課題とは何でしょう？人の定義はそれぞれだと思うが、私はとりあえず、毎日投稿をすることを挑戦しようと。さすがに毎日書かないと書くのが下手になってしまうんだ。そのために、毎日投稿して勉強していることについて語りたいなと。
私の話に興味ある人たちはぜひお話しましょう。

My weekend plans
Next Saturday, I plan to do my usual weekend chores: buying groceries, washing up, cleaning, doing laundry, ... Pretty boring stuff, but listening to podcasts in the meantime usually does the trick. During my breaks, I'll have to learn my vocabulary for the Japanese course I'm taking on Mondays. In the evening, I'll probably make some lasagna, as I've been craving this dish for a while now. I'll also catch up on my favourite show for the moment: The Great British Bake Off. I think it's hilarious. On Sunday, I'm meeting up with one of my best friends. I saw on Facebook that an organisation in the neighbourhood where I live will be treating everyone who passes by to free pancakes and chocolate milk, so of course we have to go there. I just hope it won't rain, as this event will be outside. In the evening, I would like to go out for vegan pizza with my boyfriend and then go to the cinema to see the new Wes Anderson movie, but those plans are not set in stone yet.

Punishment
Tonight, it is my turn to have classes for class 4. During the reading class, so soon as I turn off the radio, everynone stops. I ask them to keep reading, no one cares. I don't know whether they would read English in other reading classess, but I am quite confused that how they can improve their English without reading. Furthermore, their pronuciation is fairly bad, and they can't read many words correctly. Fine, since they don't want to study hard, I won't push them.
After the reading class, I hear my class is so noisy that I can't stand it any more. Thus I go to the classroom and tell them to run 5 laps tomorrow. When I go back to class 4, I hear the monitor roar, "Stop talking. Would you like to run more?" They become quiet soon. In the next class, I hear she roar again. Generally speaking, it is much quieter than before. It seems that after the the whole class have been punished for running 7 laps in total, somebody becomes afraid and start to do something to change the situation. In a word, the punishment works.
Anyway, I don't really care they hate me or not.

Read Many Books
I have just finished reading my 200th book this year.
Actually, I didn't read many books.
By my count, I read less than 10 books per year.
Last year, I tried to read e-books instead of paper books.
I am able to read e-books anywhere and anytime when I bring my cell phone.
As a result, I could read more than 100 books last year.
During reading many books, I am able to understand this world more and more.
Moreover, I get an ability to summerize contents.
I will keep reading books, and recommend reading to others.

berufstätigkeit von Müttern
Die vorliegende Graphik enthält statistiche Angaben zu dem Thema: Vereinbarkeit von Berufstätigkeit und Kindererziehung für Mütter von Kleinkindern in verschiedenen europäischen Ländern. Besonders wunderlich zu entdecken, dass Deutschland mit weniger als die Hälfte der Mütter, die berufstätig sind, das Schlusslicht bildet. Demgegenüber erreicht Portugal den ersten Platz mit einer grossen Mehrheit von Müttern, die arbeiten.
Als Mutter von 2 Kindern, die 9 und 15 Jahre alt sind, die berufstätig ist, bin ich direkt von diesem Thema betroffen. Deswegen kann ich diesbezüglich den Vorteil bieten. Das Entscheidendste für mich ist das Geld. Berufstätig sein bedeutet zuerst Geld verdienen. Dies Geld erhöht Das Einkommen meines Haushalts somit unseres Lebensstandards. Ausserdem ist es im Allgemeinen ein optimaler Weg, zu der finanziellen Unabhängigkeit der Frauen zu gelangen. Ich habe ebenfalls ein weiterer Vorteil selbst erlebt und zwar meine eigene Entfaltung bei der Arbeit. Es war für mich besonders wichtig, aktiv an der Gesellschaft teilzunehmen, was mir viel Befriedigung bereitet hat.
Der Hauptnachteil bei diesem Thema kommt aus der Gesellschafft. Es besteht viele gesellschaftlichen Erwartungen in Bezug auf die Mutterrolle. Die Mütter sollten beispielweise die Bezugsperson in der Kindererziehung sein sowie den Haushalt verwalten, während die Väter arbeiten gehen und das Einkommen bringen. Wenn die Frauen aus der Norm fällt und berufstätig sind, können sie ein Schuldgefühl entwickeln. Sie haben das Gefühl, eine schlechte Mutter zu sein. Die Figur der schlechten Mutter ist sehr präsent in der Gesellschaft deshalb sing nötig viele Energie und Kraft, um diese Erwartungen auszubrechen.
Die frage bleibt: wo liegt den Unterschied zwischen den verschiedenen Beschäftigungsquoten in den Ländern wie Portugal, der eine ziemlich Hochquote erreicht und Deutschland, wo die Quote geringer ist. Eine Erklärung wäre die Kinderbetreuungsangebote. In Deutschland sowie in der Schweiz findet die Schule nicht am Nachmittag statt. In der Schweiz besteht es trotzdem Kinderbetreuungsstruktur. Sie sind aber kostenpflichtig. Eine Mutter, die berufstätig sein will, sollte die Kosten dafür tragen.
Bei uns in Frankreich gehen schon die Kinder ab 3 Jahre in die Schule und zwar den ganzen Tag, obwohl sie tagsüber viel spielen dürfen. Ausserdem machen die Kinder ein Nickerchen am Nachmittag. Vor der Schulzeit bleiben einen Platz im Kita sehr problematisch zu bekommen. Aus diesem Grund nehmen Viele Mütter in Kauf, dass sie momentan nicht mehr arbeiten gehen können, bis das Kind in die Schule geht. Während dieser Mutterschaftszeit gibt es eine finanzielle Staathilfe, um einen annehmbaren Lohn zu sichern.
Die Berufstätigkeit von Müttern ist ein zentrales Anliegen unserer Zeit. Es handelt sich um einen Schritt nach mehr Gleichstellung in unserer Gesellschafft zu ermöglichen.

Pouvez-vous séparer l'art de l'artiste dans le cas de Chris

C'est une question très épineuse à répondre. Les meurtres saisissants de Nancy et Daniel Benoit, effectuées par Chris Benoit, qui ensuite s'est suicidé, retentissent toujours dans les échelons des administrations sportifs et des fan-clubs. Comment c'est possible que la vie et la carrière d'un lutteur si éminent se soient tournés court sans que personne n'ait pas perçu les signes avant-coureurs? En outre, nous pouvons toujours respecter l'individu, laissant que son œuvre soit préservée?
Je pense personnellement que c'est possible; en outre, le faisons actuellement. Même si nous soyons toujours tourneboulés dans le sillage de cette tragédie, toute célébrité a essuyé un coup à leur réputation après qu'elles (ou elle?) se sont empêtrées dans des liaisons et les affaires légales, et nous célébrons et préservons leurs accomplissements et leur héritage, en analysant et en étudiant leurs chefs-d'œuvre dans les académies.
Cela ne veut pas dire que Benoit soit absous de ses péchés; plutôt, c'est un rappel que nous ne pouvons pas surfer d'emblée sur les controverses de quelqu'un de fameux et discréditer tout ça qu'il a fait; nous devons étudier la personne en tout sa totalité.

La grammaire anglaise
Je dois avouer que j'ai beaucoup d'admiration pour n'importe quelle personne qui étudie l'anglais. C'est une langue vraiment bizarre : l'orthographe est imprévisible, la moitié des lettres ne se prononcent pas, la grammaire est bien irrégulière et la prononciation est bizarre. En plus, puisque l'anglais est devenu la lingua franca du XXIème siècle, beaucoup d'anglophones n'essayent même pas d'étudier les langues étrangères et espèrent que tout le monde parlera anglais. Donc étudier l'anglais n'est certes pas une mince affaire, mais je crois qu'il en vaut la peine, car c'est une langue si riche et complexe, et ceux que le comprennent peuvent apprécier une pléthore de littérature merveilleuse.
Aujourd'hui, pour une raison quelconque, la plupart des élèves n'apprennent pas la grammaire anglaise à l'école (bien que les examens normalisés testent les connaissances de grammaire). Je travaille comme tuteur et j'enseigne la grammaire parce que je la considère très importante et je sais que mes élèves ne l'apprendront pas à l'école. Je suis en train d'enseigner à un élève le concept d'accord entre un verbe et un sujet. En revoyant les règles de la formation de certains temps verbaux, nous avons découvert qu'elle peut détecter la moitié des erreurs où le verbe ne s'accorde pas avec le sujet, mais ça veut dire qu'elle manque l'autre moitié. Je lui ai donné des exercices où il fallait réécrire des phrases et vérifier si le verbe est accordé avec le sujet.

I also used this word, but I was doing better that I was saying "oral English". Anyway, just a few weeks ago, I remember some foreigner said that it was weird to say "oral English", and he also suggested saying "spoken English". Since then, I have never said "oral English" again. And I also heard another story about a female who didn't speak English well when she just came to America. One day, a man messed her up, and she immediately shouted at him by saying "I will knock you up if you don't stop!" That guy ran away after hearing that. At first I didn't get the meaning of the story either.
