英語会話クラブ

今日大学に英語会話クラブのようなものに行きました。大学に他の時間がかからない用事があって、そのためだけに行くのは少し勿体なく、クラブに参加してみました。楽しかったです。英語はいつもオンラインで話すので直接に人に向かって話すのは新鮮で、いろんな人と話せて社交的経験をもっと少し積めたので、行ってよかったと思います。

ChatGPT Experience (1) - Draw a Graph

ChatGPT has been so hot recently, starting today, I want to take a try.

I ask ChatGPT to draw a bar graph the compare the populations in four countries in 2020. The ChatGPT immediately pops out a black background with white words graph, which you can see from the picture.

The numbers in the graph are counted in millions. The population in China stands at the top among the four countries, reach at 1402. While America, Russia and the UK are 331, 146 and 67 each.

I ask the same question again to check whether I can get another graph. Surprisingly, the ChatGPT refuses this time and says them has no ability to draw graphs. You can see the picture which I names B.

In the following entries, I am going to talk more about Elong Musk, Bill Gate and ChatGPT.

MEETINGS

I had been sitting in a coffee shop for half an hour, when I heard a familiar voice. I looked around me in surprise, but I could not see anyone that I knew so I carried on drinking my coffee. I was in the process of decorating my new flat, and it would have been unlikely that I knew anyone around here. I heard the voice again and I realised that the speaker was an old school friend of mine. I had already seen this glamourous woman near the counter but did not recognise her at all. She was wearing a well-fitting suit and matching bell trousers. Poor village girl that she was would not even say boo to a goose when I went to class with her, now the luxury she must have been living in has turned her into a distinguished liones.

I went to my old primary school last week. I had been invited to visit to talk to a group of children about the work I am currently doing. The building is about 50 years old, and although it has been modernised, much of the building looks the same as it did when I attended it every day. They have just built a new sports centre which looks very impressive and CCTV cameras have recently been installed in the school's gatehouse. I had not been looking forward to the visit before I crossed the school's doorstep, however it was quite enjoyable. The kids sang a lovely song to greet me. But it was meeting my old teacher, Mr. Hopkins, that had put me in a great mood for days and a photo with Mr. Hopkins and the kids was the icing on the cake.

日本語の理解について

読みと絵、例えば漫画やゲームなど、一番易しいと思います。
何故なら、絵に文脈をもらって、勝手な速度で読むができます。
書きも同じのことはと思います。
聞きは二番難しいです。よく日本語は早く話します。けど聞いた人は文章に８０％だけわかったら、十分です。
話しはとっても難しいと思います。単語と文法は完璧にならなければいけません。

Day 9 Journaling

Hi.
Today I wake up early and I had to do my homework, but I didn't... Instead of it, I watched YouTube videos talking about the new Samsung Galaxy S23+. That's a smartphone I'd really appreciate to have, but I can't because I don't have the money for. To solve this problem, I have decided that I'll keep all the money that my parents, grandparents and uncle are going to give me, and in 2 years, I'll have enough money to buy it. Plus, his price will decrease with the time. Today, I have a Samsung Galaxy S20 but it comes to an end because he will not have the future updates so that's not good.
After watching these videos, I ate breakfast with my grandparents, I took a bath, and I helped my grandfather with his computer. Then we had lunch and it was time for me and my little brother to say goodbye to our grandparents and go back to our house. I was pretty sad in the train to Paris.
But I was also happy when I saw my parents.
It was a really good day too but I am not happy for haven’t did my homework this morning.

La chamaillerie est-elle normal entre les soeurs ?

J'ai deux petites filles. La plus agée a neuf ans et la benjamine a sept ans.

Quand elles sont chez eux, elles se chamaillent tous le temps, ou c'est l'impression que j'ai.

Ma femme n'a pas des frères et soeurs. Elle est enfant unique. Elle ne comprends pas pourquoi nos filles se disputent tellement. Quand elle était jeune, elle rêvait d'avoir une sœur, et elle pense que nos filles ont beaucoup de chance pour en avoir, et elles ne doivent pas chamailler tellement.

Qu'est-ce que vous en pensez ? C'est normal pour les frères et soeurs se chamaillent beaucoup ?

Álmaim

Igen, általábab elmékek az álmaimra. Gyakran furcsak és abszurdabbak, mint a David Lynch filmjei. Tartalmaznak természetfeletti elemeket és cselekményeik nem logikusak — de természetüknél fogva, az álmok nem logikusak, ugye? Álmaimben, látom a dolgokot és embereket, amik/akik belém keltettem benyomást. Látom a félelmeimet és vágyaimat is. Így gondolom, hogy álmok személyes nyelvek. Ezek a nyelvek szólik magunkról, azért, ezek egy jó mód, hogy megismerjük magunkt. Persze, az álmok nyelve mindenként eltérő, mert minden simbólumnak lehet egy eltérő jelentése az álmodónként.

A legtöbb álmom szépek, de már rémálmaim voltak. Egyszer, álmodtam erről, hogy kigyók mindenhonnan enged marták. Néhányszor, sőt álmodtam saját halálomról! Talán agyam furcsa… de alkot érdekes álmokat, ezért minden rendben!

Yes, I usually remember my dreams. They often are weird and more absurd than David Lynch's movies. They feature fantastic, supernatural elements and their scenarios aren't logical — but by nature, dreams aren't logical, are they? In my dreams, see the things and people that left an impression on me. I also see my fears and desires. I think dreams are personal languages. These dreams are about ourselves, and so, they're a good way to know ourselves. Of course, the language of dream is different for everyone, because a same symbol will mean something different for every dreamer.

Most of my dreams are beautiful, but I've already had nightmares. Once, I dreamt snakes coming from everywhere were biting me! A few times, I even dreamt of my own death! Maybe I've got a weird brain... but it makes interesting dream, so that's fine by me!

Radio

Kto jeszcze słucha radia? To pytanie, jakie często można słyszeć, w szczególnie przy młodych ludziach.

Mógłbym odpowiedzieć, że ja słucham tego. Prawie codziennie: przed alarmem mojego budziku, radio automatycznie się włącza. Uważam, że to jest dobrą metodą, aby przygodnie budzić się. Przez około dwudziestu minut słucham wiadomości i ciekawych rubryk.

Bardzo lubię słuchać radia w samochodzie też, jak większość ludzi (tak myślę). Szczerze mówiąc, albo włączę radio, albo podłączę Spotify przez Bluetooth i włączę swoją muzykę. Ale słuchanie muzyki bez przerwy jest "zapijające"; to znaczy, po godzinę głowa mnie boli. Radio przeciwnie jest cichsze i bardziej różnicowane.

Trzecia sytuacja gdzie doceniam słuchać radia: jak pracuję w domu. Wybieram radio, które gra klasyczną muzykę pomagającą w skupieniu. Takie radia też nie dostarczają reklam: co za przyjemność!

Mógłbym częściej słuchać radia, ale niestety moja ulubiona stacja radiowa jest belgijską. Można ją odbierać tylko przy granicy albo przez internet.

Fais-le simplement

J’aime être physiquement active mais quelque fois je me retrouve être trop paresseuse et démotivé.

Le mantra qui m’arrête paresseuse est simplement “Fais-le” (Just Do It en anglais).

Cette phrasse et aussi la devise de Nike, une marque sportive.

Ça m’aider parce qu’il me rappelle d’arrêter trop réfléchir et juste commencer de bouger mon corps comme un robot. Sans emotion que ce soit pour m’empêcher.

Venerdì

Oggi mi sono svegliata quando ho voluto. Ho potuto dormire per più di sette ore.

Dopo mi sono lavata i denti ho fatto colazione e poi ho fatto una lunga passeggiata nel quartiere. Giocavo a Pokemon Go mentre facevo la passeggiata.

Siccome ho le ferie, oggi posso rilassarmi senza preoccupazzioni. Ma contemporaneamente ho bisogno di fare più cose possibili per sentirmi produttiva. È sempre un dilemma per me.

Ora ho un momento di meritato riposo, poi domani si vedrà. Meno male che esiste il weekend.

Non ho alcuna ragione di lamentarmi, posso passare il tempo come voglio, in modo efficiente è pure divertente.

Prima sono andata a fare le spese, sono appena tornata dal negozio. Ho dovuto comprare gli ingredienti per preparare il pranzo.

Anche se non ho niente da fare oggi, studio un po', scrivo un po' e leggo un po', faccio tutte le cose in piccola quantità. Ormai sono abituata a gestire le cose che devo fare. È ancora un progresso.

Con una amiga

Mañana (18 de febrero) estoy yendo al cine con una buena amiga. Estamos viendo la nueva película de Marvel. Por una vez, el cine lanzó una película a tiempo. Las películas siempre llegan tarde. Problemas con un pueblo pequeño, ¿supongo?

Porque mi amiga trabaja el día primero, veremos el día segundo. Estoy emocionada porque han sido meses desde que nos vimos. En realidad han sido dos o tres años desde que nos juntamos*.

La película es 3D también. La última película que vi en 3D fue el Titanic. No hubo muchas cosas saltó de la pantalla**. Pero porque esta película es acción y ciencia ficción, más cosas deberían saltar de la pantalla***. Eso es también emocionante.

¡Dame suerte que tendré un buen tiempo!

Un Trabajo Nuevo

Hace dos días, tuve una entrevista por un trabajo nuevo. Trabajo por el gobierno y ellos hacen cosas diferentes. En la entrevista En vez de una conversación, los entrevistadores le piden una pregunta, escuchan a la respuesta, escriben notas, y repiten. Después de la entrevista, ellos usan sus notas a puntuar tus respuestas. La person que tiene la puntuación más alta es el ganador. La entrevista dura sola cuarenta minutos o una hora.

¡Me ofrecen el trabajo! Estoy emocionado. Pero, otra cosa que hace el gobierno, cuando se gana una promoción, no le dan un aumento. Tienes que trabajar un año antes dan un aumento.

L’anniversaire de mon père

Mon père est né le 14 février : le jour de Saint-Valentin. Un jour ma tante (sa sœur), m’a dit que ma grand-mère avait l’intention de l’appeler Valentin. Heureusement, elle n’a pas fait ça : il s’appelle Vernon, avec un V comme même. Je sais qu’on se moquait de lui à l’école et ils l’ont surnommé le Saint d’amour.

La tradition dans notre famille est de célébrer nos anniversaires dans un bon restaurant. Si on est né le 14 février, c’est vraiment difficile de trouver un restaurant puisque souvent les restaurants sont complets ce jour-là. Tous les amoureux fêtent le jour de Saint-Valentin et il est nécessaire de réserver une table plusieurs semaines à l’avance. En plus, souvent il y a un menu spécial avec un verre de champagne et des chocolats.

Quand nous réservons la table, le serveur est toujours surpris que la réservation est pour une famille de six. Je pense que souvent, nous sommes le seul groupe de plusieurs personnes : tous les autres sont des couples qui échangent des cadeaux et des fleurs. Une fois, un jeune homme a proposé à sa petite copine de l’épouser. C’était très romantique. Il s’est mis à genoux et lui a offert une bague pendant qu’un violoniste jouait une chanson d’amour. Tout le monde a applaudi quand sa petite copine a dit oui.

Januar (Teil 1)

Im Januar habe ich insgesamt neun Bücher gelesen, eine Zahl womit ich ganz zufrieden bin. Die erste zwei Bücher waren aus der "The Cat Who..." Reihe, in der ein Journalist namens Qwilleran Rätsel mit seinen zwei Katzen löst. Danach habe ich "A Short History of the United States" (Eine Kurze Geschichte der Vereinigten Staaten) gelesen. Ich nehme gerade einen Kurs in die amerikanische Geschichte, und ich versuche mich für die bevorstehende Prüfung gut vorzubereiten. Ich habe auch "The Art of Happiness," ein Buch, dass mein Vater mir früher geschenkt hat, beendet. Es war tatsächlich interessanter als ich erwartet hatte, aber immer noch ein bisschen zu unrealistisch für mich. Nichtsdestotrotz glaube ich, dass ich etwas daraus gelernt habe.

Day 41: Discipline

If you have been reading my posts, maybe you may asked why I'm so obsessed about being disciplined. That's because in the past I used to have a lot of projects and things that I wanted to do. But those things that I wanted to do, never came true because my lack of discipline. My biggest goals are to live in Canada, to travel to many countries, like Japan and Norway, and being the best version of myself. To accomplish those goals, I need to be disciplined because I don't want to fail in these goals as in my last goals that I didn' acomplished, as I really want to come true these goals. I need to get a degree, learn Norwgian, Japanese, English and exercising, to accomplish those goals, and for that I need a lot of discipline

Mujercitas en mi casa

Mi cuñada vive con nosotros en mi casa. A veces me siento que ella es una espíritu porque no suele estar en casa y llega quando estoy dormido. Pero ahora mi casa es ruidoso porque ella está con sus cinco amigas en el suelo abajo viendo una película romántica. Uno no puede entender nada de lo que dicen porque tres hablan al mismo tiempo. Uno no puede escuchar sus propios pensamientos.

Bueno estoy terminado con quejando.

Aparece que no hice nada importante hoy. Trabajé pero no terminé con algo grande. Jugué un videojuego llamada Satisfactory que suena como un retruécano en inglés. Me gusta este juego porque me puedo crear lo que imagino.

Demasiado ruidoso. No voy a poder dormir.
