Book - A Shot in the Dark - P31
Part twenty-one.
This summary was deliberately written in present tenses (analyse it as if it’s taking place as you read it)
It is early morning, and a sleepless, deflated Twitten is giving his account of tonight’s events to Mrs. Groynes, the station charlady.
Since he did not know the address to his new lodgings, and did not have any money to pay a hotel room, he spent the whole night wandering around town. At one point he came across a police crime scene. The constable meant to guard the site was actually sleeping. After shaking him awake, Twitten learnt all the astonishing events he had missed while in hospital. Twitten’s initial reaction was complete despair. But then a thought struck him: the station prisoner cells have iron bars, and Strong Woman Joanna Carver is indeed famous for bending iron bars.” As he hastened back to the police station, his pulse quickened. At first, the Sergeant Desk thought Twitten must be cracking a joke with this talking about a prisoner escape. But Twitten kept urging him to check on the prisoners. The Sergeant finally agreed. When they got to the cells, they found Joanna Carver’s empty, with some iron bars bent. Twitten’s despair grew increasily. That was that, at least for the night.
When he has finished, Mrs Groynes advises he hand Crystal’s list to Inspector Steine as soon as possibile. Steine will probabily be cross, but he has to know. Twitten’s face twists with pain. He hesitantly tells her he lost it. Mrs. Groynes’ face is a picture of horror. Still, it does not matter to him because he has commetted its contents to memory.

小さな闇
よしもと ばななの小さな闇を読んでしまいました。実は、この物語が難しそうだっただから読みたくなかったです。でも、よしもと ばななの小説が好きので、読むことにしました。読んでよかったです。闇の考えはとても面白かったと思います。私もみんなの中で闇がある信じます。
人間が闇があなければ、より簡単とつまらないです。たぶん大半人がこの考え信じないのに、どこにも見れば、人の中に闇があります。少なくとも人の中に一部がいつも闇があると思います。いいことじゃなくでも、弱みじゃないと思います。これは成長の一部と性分の一部もです。
私たちは心の中で闇に耐えきればいけません。これは私たちの苦しむのことともに生きるの道だけと思います。

Salut!
Je suis nouvelle ici. Je m'appelle Teresita et j'habite à Porto Rico avec ma mère, mon beau-père, ma sœur et sa famille. Ils habitent dans le deuxième étage.
Ma langue maternelle c'est l'espagnol et je partle anglais aussi. Maintenant je suis en train de améliorer mon français. J'adore les chiens et chats et MANGER DE LA PIZZA aussi! :)

Le retour au Japon-3
Étant devenus un cas contact, on a commencé à recevoir plus d'appels, surtout par le service de santé publique de l'arrondissement de Kanagawa, où se situe la maison de mes parents.
Au début, on avait prévu de résider chez mes parents pour le reste 11 jours de la self-isolation.
Mais un employé m'a dit qu'il fallait séparer absolument la vie avec mes parents, et on serait vite hospitaliaé pour au moins 10 jours si le variant Omicron avait été détecté. Ma mère travaille en free-lance en tant qu'interprète, donc lui causer des soucis à cet égard n'en n'est pas question. Après avoir réfléchi et consulté ma mère, on a décidé de passer le reste du confinement dans un appartement que ma mère possède à Tokyo.
Il me semble qu'au début, le préfecture de Kanagawa, a préparé les hôtels pour accuellir toutes les personnes de cas contact, mais il n'avait plus de place pour les nouvelles arrivées, la raison pour laquelle l'employé nous a fortement conseilé de se déplacer à la place qu'on avait déjà prévu (plus précisément, elle a dit que le préfecture de Kanagawa pourrait préparer un hôtel mais averti qu'on pourrait nous assigner une chambre sans fênetre ou celle pour fumeurs en raison du manque de chambres).
Le troisième jour après notre arrivée au Japon, on a passé des tests PCR à 6h du matin. Vers midi, on nous a informés que les résltats étaient négatifs. À 16:30, une voiture que mon mari a retenue nous a cherchés, et on est parti pour l'appartement.
Par ailleurs, si on n'avait pas été cas contact, on aurait dû monter dans un bus pour retourner à l'aéroport où on a atterri trois jours avant pour aller à l'endroit de la self-isolation. Je ne sais pas pourquoi c'est le cas, mais c'est une des règles décidé par le gouvernement japonais.
Cette anecdote continue encore mais je vais essayer de la finir demain !

Museumsbesuch
Vor 6 Jahren habe ich das Prince of Wales Museum besucht. Dort gab ein naturkunde Abschnitt, in dem vielen interessanten präparierten Tiere und Vögel waren. Für mich war überraschend, wenn ich diese verschiedene lebensgroße Tiere und Vögel gesehen habe, weil ich bis dahin keine Ahnung hatte, dass es so viele schöne Arten von Flora und Fauna hier gibt, obwohl ich in meiner Schulzeit gelesen habe, dass es in Indien über 500 Tierarten und über 2000 Vogelarten gibt. Das war wirklich ein interessanter Blick in unserer Tierwelt!

Čevapčiči
El tiempo iba a ser bueno, soleado pero sin demasiado calor.
Durante mi compra matutina decidí por capricho que me gustaría hacer čevapčiči, conseguí todos los ingredientes para el plato principal y algunas latas de judías y judías verdes frescas para la guarnición.
Justo antes de la hora del almuerzo, preparé la carne: hay que curarla con los condimentos durante 2-4 horas antes de darle forma a los čevaps.
Luego, por la tarde, saqué mi pequeña barbacoa del garaje después de unos 2 años sin usarla, y le di una buena limpieza.
Luego hice la ensalada de judías, un plato muy sencillo; corté las judías verdes y las cociné al vapor, las combiné con las judías de las latas después de haberlas lavado, corté una cebolla roja en rodajas finas y un diente de ajo en dados muy finos; lo combiné todo, añadí sal, pimienta, vinagre blanco y aceite de semillas de calabaza.
Hacia las 5 puse carbón y astillas en la barbacoa y los encendí. Justo después de las 6 las brasas estaban bien para empezar a cocinar, durante los siguientes 45 minutos estuve cocinando los čevaps en lotes.
Invité a mi vecino (por suerte estaba disponible) y comimos y bebimos demasiado.

première article
Bonsoir, cette article c'est mon premier article en français. Cette année je veux pratiquer et améliorer mon français, surtout les competences du "output", pour exemple la capacité d'écrire en français ou parler en français.
Donc, je voudrais écrire plus de 50 articles sur cette site cette année, qui est proche d'un article par semaine. Je suis plus confortable de lire en français que écrire en français et c'est un chose je veux changer cette année.

My childhood
Hmmm i thought about it last night. It was the best time in my life. I had no commitments and could enjoy it. Locking back I should have invest more time getting better at school. My grades were always bad. Especially in English. My Teacher, a very friendly and empathic person, recommended me: "You need to improve your english skills. If you want to become an executive in an international company, you need to be able to talk and write english fluently!"

My perspective on the pandemic
Since the start of the pandemic I have been work from home and that was a big change.
Just before that I was about to quit to my job because I felt very stressed. I work as an operational assistant in an insurance office.
Being home during the initial quarantine was a relief.
Fortunatelly Covid19 did not touch my family so hard, I know it is not the same for others and somethimes I feel guilty seeing benefits of the pandemic.

여행의 마무리
20일간의 여행은 끝났다. 여기저기 다니면서 새로운 경험 많았다. 해변 4가지의 갔다 왔고 바다에서 낚시도 하고 서핑도 조금 했다. 맛있는 것도 많이 먹었고 호텔의 수영장에 수영했다.
라펠도 처음으로 해봤는데 내려가서 다시 올라가는 길 너무 힘들어서 죽을뻔 했다. 이뿐만 아니라 짚라인도 했고 캐노피 투어까지 했다. 진짜 하루에 그렇게 많은 모험 해본 거 처음이었다. 나중에 다시 갈수 있다면 좋겠어.
말도 오랜만에 드디어 탔고 가족과 영화관에 두번 갔다. 진짜 재밌었던 여행이었는데 그 동안 집이 너무나 그리웠어. 결국에 집만한 곳이 없다. 그래도 이번 여행 추억들이 절대로 잊지 않을게.

Draak
Het is een oude misvatting dat draken vijandige wezens zijn. Draken zijn wel roofdieren. Niet omdat ze zo groot groeien - want er zijn veel grote dieren die vegetariërs zijn, bijvoorbeeld olifanten of gorilla’s. Maar de vuurklieren in hun gezicht hebben heel veel energie nodig. Daarom eten ze meestal grote, vette dieren zoals koeien of varkens. Ze geven vooral voorkeur aan varkens, want ze zijn vaak licht genoeg om snel te kunnen vangen, en zacht genoeg om aan hun kinderen te voeren. Draken hebben geen smaak voor mensen.
Mensen hebben ook geen smaak voor drakenvlees. Niettemin, omdat draken vervelend zijn voor boeren die hun dieren willen beschermen, en ook omdat ze groot en gevaarlijk zijn, worden draken als geweldige jacht beschouwd. Jagers willen glorie en roem als drakenjagers verkrijgen. Kinderen vinden verhalen over draken avontuurlijk en spannend. Koningen willen de enige enge wezen in hun koninkrijk zijn. Daarom zijn draken in dorpen altijd vervolgd en vermoord.
Net zoals leeuwen, zijn er slechts een paar draken en alleen in beperkte (en beschermde) regio’s zoals savanne’s en nationale parken de VS en Brazilië.

Teil 2: dürfen Männer weinen
Da ich mich für das Thema "dürfen Männer weinen" interessiere, möchte ich meine Meinung dazu äußern.
Ich teile die Meinung von Sara, dass Männer weinen dürfen.
Ich finde, dass es normal ist, wenn jemand Gefühle wie Angst oder Trauer hat.
Auf der einem seite, denkt man, wenn die Männer weinen, sehen sie schwach und unmänlich aus.
Auf der anderen seite, leute sagen, dass die Männer weinen dürfen, wenn sie wirklich traurig sind.
Zum Schluss kann ich sagen, Weinen ist eine gute Möglichkeit, um die Gefühle auszudrücken, das ist meine ehrliche Meinung zu diesem Thema.

Mon objectif pour la nouvelle année
L’année dernier, j’ai eu du mal à écrire régulièrement des textes en français, et j’ai remarqué que je n’ai pas pu améliorer autant que je voulais. Donc cette année, je veux écrire plus. Pendant les trois premiers mois de l’année, j’essaierai d’écrire un texte par semaine. Bien sûre qu’il faut faire plus que ça pour vraiment améliorer ses compétences linguistiques, mais comme je vais à un nouvel cours de français et j’ai beaucoup d’autre choses à faire, je crois que ça suffit pour l’instant.

mental outpourings
Yesterday I did many mistakes when I tried to use the past tense. In order to get rid of this problem, I've spent some time recently with my grammar book. The topics I have seen were the distinction of the present perfect and the past simple. While I thought I am able to choose the correct tense when I write something in English, I was surprised by how many different rules you have to keep in mind. Some of them are pretty hard to differ as well. For instance, on the one hand, you have to use the simple past when you are interested in when a present situation began, (can I begin a new sentence with "on the other hand"?)on the other hand, you have to use the present perfect when you talk about how long an existing situation has lasted.
To show you what I mean I try to apply these rules in the following sentences.
Simple Past
When did you start doing your own music? When did you water my plants?
Present Perfect:
I have done my homework over a long period of time. My grandparents haven't left their house over the past 2 weeks, yet they are cheerful about it.
Well, after I have written and applied these rules, they really look different and certainly aren't hard to apply at all. I feel like I was in school again.
However, later I will visit my grandparents. In case, you might be wondering whether it's true that they haven't left their home in the last 2 weeks, it's not. I just needed an example to come up with.
Regarding my visit later on, I have no specific plan in mind. We are probably going to stay inside because of the bad weather. After checking on my grandparents, I will visit some friends who are playing some board games this evening. It won't be very exciting, but I am excited to have been invited to a calm evening with my friend's brother's friends.
A few seconds ago I came up with the idea to start a new sentence with the word "but". I am happy that I decided to throw that thought away because a certain user would have never corrected my mental outpourings again.
Thank you for correcting this. I hope mental outpourings transfer as well as I want into the English language.
