The Soul of a Documentary
I've introduced a series of documentaries about Chinese cuisine to many Chinese-learner friends many times. One such series is " A Bite of China."
I loved this series so much, especially the first two seasons. They told us stories about ingredients that made delicious dishes, fields that grow these ingredients, the history of the fields and the skills, and people who inherited and developed food culture.
In my eyes, they are definitely masterpieces.
Season four came out recently. During the 5.1 holiday, I couldn't wait to watch the first episode. Then I noticed something was missing. I thought it was because this one was made by a new team.
This morning, when I was making breakfast for myself, I suddenly realized the real reason was that the new team didn't have a passion for the food.
If they do love food, they would be curious about where the food comes from, what the thing that chefs are most proud of during cooking is, and how the person eats it feels.
I mean, even when I was steaming my sweet potatoes, I was proud of how fresh they were, thinking about back to that store and buying them again.
Without love and passion, a masterpiece becomes an ordinary one.

My Third Apartment
My third apartment was purchased in 2017, during the peak of Chinese real estate prices. That year, Shuangqing Bay Park was constructed in the center of Fuyang's South New District.
My wife and I were seeking a more pleasant living area, as the locations of my previous apartments were less than ideal.
The South New District was meticulously planned with high - standard living quality features, including wide streets, extensive green spaces, rivers, and a variety of trees, flowers, and bushes.
Consequently, this district boasted the highest real estate prices in the entire city. The residential community where my third apartment was located was situated on the northeast side of the park.
The apartments in this community were priced at approximately 12,000 Chinese yuan per square meter, which included the cost of a 13 - square - meter garage.
Purchasing a garage was a prerequisite for apartment buyers. Due to government - imposed price limits on apartments, which were set at 300,000 Chinese yuan, real estate companies maintained their profits by inflating garage prices.
My third apartment, spanning around 120 square meters, cost about 1,450,000 Chinese yuan, making it the most expensive among all my properties.
Since 2017, Chinese real estate prices have been on a rapid decline. Currently, the market value of this apartment has dropped to around 1,000,000 Chinese yuan, resulting in a loss of over 400,000 yuan for me.
I am uncertain about how much more value this apartment will lose in the future.

Eine Routine für Fremdsprachenlernen
Ich glaube, dass niemand ohne Beständigkeit Erfolg erreichen kann. Es ist notwendig, so früh wie möglich eine Routine zu erstellen. Es kann nicht nur mit Fremdsprachen helfen, sondern auch mit anderen Aktivitäten.
Ich denke, dass es extrem wichtig ist, täglich zu üben. Besonders mit Fremdsprachenlernen. Persönlich lerne ich zumindest eine Stunde pro Tag, aber normalerweise widme ich ihm zwei oder sogar drei Stunden. Die ersten 10-15 Minuten wiederhole ich Wörter mit Anki-Karten. Danach sehe ich einige Videos auf Deutsch an und lerne neue Vokabeln. Nachdem ich damit fertig bin, analysiere ich meine früheren Fehler und schreibe sie auf. Dann erstelle ich einen neuen Aufsatz und die letzten ein-einhalb Stunden verbringe ich mit Sprechen.
Es ist unbestreitbar, dass wenn man mit einer neuer Routine nur anfängt, kann es ziemlich schwierig sein, die fortzuführen. Es gibt nur eine Lösung: sich mit der eigenen Routine auseinanderzusetzen und selbst die beste Option zu finden. Letztens habe ich eine super Methode entdeckt, um alle Aufgaben zu erledigen und um sie nicht aufzuschieben. Diese Methode ist ziemlich einfach: jeden Tag eine To-Do Liste mit allen Aufgaben zu schreiben.

Mi decimosexta publicación
Otra vez es tarde y estoy aquí en mi estudio. Una lámpara de mimbre y la fuerte luz brillante de la pantalla son lo único que me mantiene despierto. Por fin tengo la oportunidad de escribir, pero me cuesta por lo cansado que estoy. Me gustaría seguir leyendo Cien Años de Soledad, pero me temo que ya se me acabó el tiempo hoy y que lo prudente sería prepararme para la cama. Tampoco habrá mucho tiempo mañana para leer ya que tengo pensado hacer ejercicios. Es un cuento tan viejo como el tiempo mismo: no hay suficientes horas en el día para hacer todo lo que uno quiere realizar. El día se esfuma antes de que podamos realmente asirlo. A mí me gustaría eso: esfumarme, haciéndome un humo impalpable que pueda vagar por las calles, la ciudad y el campo; que pueda lanzarse hasta el firmamento para mirar fijamente a las titilantes estrellas y para ver con asombro la vastedad de la infraestructura humana y sus luces.

Heute
Heute habe ich Second-Hand-Kleidung gekauft, ich habe ein Paar Hosen, 4 Shorts und 2 T-Shirts gekauft.
Weil die Kleidung Second-Hand ist, habe ich es gewaschen.
Heute fühle ich mich irgendwie müde, ich will nichts tun.
Ich will heute auch die Serie “New Girl” sehen.
Ich habe zwei Folgen von die Serie.
Zuerst habe ich gesehen, wo sie bin in ein Flughafen, es ist Weihnachten und Ihre Flüge sind verspätet.
Die nächste Folge, haben sie Problemen mit dem Lärm von den Konstruktionen.
Ich liebe die Freundschaft in dieser Serie.

Racha rota
Bueno, tenía una racha de 160 días, pero hoy entré a LangCorrect solo para descubrir que la perdí. Lo que pasó fue que el sistema puso dos publicaciones el 4 de mayo y ninguna el 5. 🤷 Es bastante desalentador, pero no me queda más remedio que seguir escribiendo (aunque sí o sí lo voy a contar en mi racha personal 😆).

My Second Apartments.
It was around 2013 when the Fuyang Tobacco Company decided to build an apartment complex for its employees. The company had six county branch companies, and my second elder brother worked in one of them.
My second elder brother had only one daughter, and she was already married. My second elder brother owned a three-story house in our hometown county and an apartment in Shanghai.
He didn't need another apartment. However, he was eligible to purchase two apartments. The apartments that the company was going to build were priced very low because they were different from the commercial apartments constructed by real estate developers.
The apartments the company planned to build were actually a form of welfare for its employees. The company raised funds from the employees and didn't make any profit from this project.
My brother asked me if I was interested in buying one or both apartments, as I could use his purchasing qualification.
At that time, my son was already in his twenties. According to Chinese tradition, it was about time for him to get married, and I should buy an apartment for his future marriage.
After discussing with my wife, we decided to buy both apartments. My son would need one, and my wife and I would need one too, since our first apartment had become quite dilapidated.
Eventually, we bought two apartments. One was approximately 110 square meters, and the other was around 140 square meters. The price was about 3,000 Chinese yuan per square meter, which was almost half of the price of commercial apartments.
We have been living in the smaller apartment since it was completed, and my son and his family have been living in the larger one.

Michael Schmidt: Ich wurde in Amerika erzogen. Wegen meines deutschen Eltern, bin ich zweisprachig aufgewachsen. Ich liebe zu reisen. Ich habe in Südamerika, den Fernost und Europa gereist. Als ich meine Ausbildung zum Bilanzbuchhalter abgeschlossen habe, habe ich natürlich entschieden, dass ein Reisebüro eine ideale Arbeitsplatz wäre. Also habe ich bei Wochenendz meiner letzten Firma eine Stelle erhalten.
Arbeitgeber: Welche Aufgaben hatten Sie in Ihrer letzten Firma?
Michael Schmidt: Als Hauptaufgaben habe ich sowohl Konten gepflegt, als auch die Erfassung und die Buchung der Rechnungen durchgeführt. Ich war auch Teil eines Teams, das die Monats- und Jahresabschlüsse erstellt habe. Dann hatte ich die Gelegenheit, ein kleines Team in Irland zu leiten, das neue Abläufe geplant und geprüft hat, um Fehler zu reduzieren. Die Herausforderung hat mir sehr gefallen.
Arbeitgeber: Es klingt, als ob die Arbeit interessant war. Warum bleiben Sie nicht bei dieser Firma?
Michael Schmidt: Das Projekt in Irland ist zu Ende gekommen. Ich wollte mehr Möglichkeiten, Teams und Projekte zu leiten. Es würde mir erlauben, mich weiterzuentwickeln. Also habe ich eine neue Arbeitsstelle gesucht.
Arbeitgeber: Und warum haben Sie sich gerade unser Unternehmen ausgesucht?
Michael Schmidt: Ich wollte bei einer größeren Firma zu arbeiten. Es gibt mehr Möglichkeiten für Karriereförderungen und einen Teamleiter zu sein und Projekte zu übernehmen. Sie haben viele Filiale und Kontakte weltweit, also kann ich reisen und meine Sprachkenntnisse einsetzen.
Arbeitgeber: Ach so. Wir habe viele solcher Gelegenheiten. Können Sie mir noch drei persönliche Stärken nennen?
Michael Schmidt: Ich liebe Probleme zu lösen und mag immer Herausforderungen. Ich kann sehr gut mit Menschen aus anderen Kulturen arbeiten und kommunizieren, und ich habe Erfahrung damit gesammelt. Ich bin sehr Teamfähig und erkenne, dass wir besser zusammenarbeiten.

Vale, hoy el diario este corto, no entiendo que escribir sobre. Siento muy bien, no congestionado hoy. Pienso necesito a escribir el vocabulario mas cada el día. Lo siento bien con mi español cuando leo, pero yo necesito mejorar mi vocabulario recordar. Quiero pasar tiempo cada día practicar y leer la ayudar con hablando sin palabras en una pagina.

Die wichtigkeit der Gesundheit
Ich bin gesund.
Ich habe es in meinen 20ern als selbstverständlich betrachtet und ich habe es damals kaum geschätzt.
In meinen 30ern habe ich erst bemerkt, wie wertvoll gesund zu sein.
Mann kann nie die Gesundheit kaufen.
Ich schätze jetzt, dass ich und meine Familie alle gesund sind.

Learning a new language
A second language is a great challenge, but sometimes it seems to be an imposible objetive to achieve.
The main strategy to learn a new language is practicing naturally everyday in your daily routine, for instance, reading the news, watching videos on social media in the language that you are studying, listening to podcast while driving home and make it as normal as possible in your normal day.
Consequently, we must return back to our childhood, the way we learned to communicate in our mother tongue was gradually and repetitive, everyday including new phrases and vocabulary according the circumstances and what we need to say at this moment.
