Useful tips for students.
Hello, dear reader, I hope these tips will be useful for you.
I'm in high school and I've incorporated some tools and techniques to learn smarter.
Whenever I need to read texts I always use this technique:
I download the text as a pdf in order to be able to mark and write in the text.
Then I use a reading technique which consist in sweep around the text and when I find arguments, conclussions, text fillings and examples I wrote them down at the right of the text.
Then see my finger making an infinite ( this is useful to connect the two cerebral hemispheres).
It's very funny to see people's faces when I do this in public, maybe thinking ¿what is she doing?
Thirdly I do cerebral gymnastic, again, this is healtier for the brain, keeps you active and it has a lots of more benefits.
Then I read with my finger (using a visual marker like your finger or a pencil is really benefitial, if you don't do this because you think that it's stupid, well, it can duplicate, triplicate or even cuadruplicate your reading speed).
Finally I read the text, marking with a pencil what's important.
I always count one, two, three, one, two, three to shut up my mind because if you read as fast as you can speak you have that limit and it will prevent you to read faster.
It's also useful have different velocitys for different kinds of text. For example: I read arguments and conclusions with a lower speed than examples and text filling because of the important that they have.
Of course, if you want to remember what you're reading then create.
It's said that "learning is creating" and "test are the best" so whenever you try to learn something test yourself and try to explain (to someone or yourself) what you've learned.

Qu’est-ce que vous pensez des signes astrologiques ?
Je suis capricorne, du coup je ne crois pas aux signes astrologiques. Je plaisante, mais c’est vrai que j’ai du mal à garder l’esprit très ouvert concernant l’astrologie. Premièrement, la position de la terre par rapport à celle des constellations pendant l’année ne correspond que très approximativement à cette division par douze. Donc, la plupart des gens nées dans la période du Scorpion ne sont pas nées où la terre est vraiment dans cette constellation. Deuxièmement, bien que l’astrologie existe dans diverses sociétés depuis des millénaires, l’astrologie populaire actuelle a une origine beaucoup plus récente. C’est intéressant, la tendance dans toutes les sociétés a regarder les étoiles et essayer de donner un sens à son vie grâce à elles. Par contre, je pense que l’astrologie populaire qui œuvre plus à utiliser les biais cognitifs pour vendre des journaux, c’est moins intéressant de loin.

Challenge, Day 19
Today was the nineteenth day of my English challenge. First of all, I had to go out for grocery. I bought tow chicken thighs , bread and some vegetables. When I come back, i started to listening video in English. Then, I tried to imatate intonation.After that, I read a passage aloud.
This afternoon, I read the corrections in the site" langcorrect". I was delighted to understand and to try to imatate how to write like native speaker?

Ordenador para juegos
Me acordé bien de la primera vez que construí una computadora en la secundaria porque me sentaba una mezcla de miedo por mi cuenta bancaria, excitación porque encendió, y frustración por las instrucciones inútiles. Eso sucedió más de siete años y disfrutaba todo ese tiempo.
Hace un año, la vendí me aburría. Era muy grande con luces chillones y hacía mucho ruedo con todos los ventiladores. Aún mas, mis gustos habían cambiado y quería pasar más tiempo en los deportes y con amigos.
Sin embargo, este mes construí otra porque sobrevivir el invierno largo y oscuro aquí lo exige. Solo puedo pasar tantas horas en el nieve, el gimnasio, o con amigos. Es distinto, ni tiene una luz y no hace ningún sonido. Ocupa un espacio muy pequeño en la mesa -- ¡solo siete litres! No sabía que eso fue possible. Espero que me permitirá relajar durante las meses que vienen.

漢字
日本語の中級レベルの私にまだたくさん知らないことがある。基本的な文法しか使えなくて、単語もたくさん勉強しないといけない。でも、最近は漢字がすごく苦手だと気付いた！ネットで調べて、いくらぐらいの漢字が知ってるかを知りたい人むけのテストを見つけた。テキストの以下にリンクを貼っておく。
もちろん、数字や統計値が好きな私はそのテストを受けた。漢字を約1000～1100字知ってるといった。常用漢字の半分ぐらいだと思う。
その結果は、私のレベルでは悪いわけではないと思うけど、それでも漢字が苦手だと思う。特に、漢字の読み方は一番下手だ。知ってる漢字だけ入っている新しい言葉を見つけても、よく読めないことがある。日本語勉強者向けのテキストや教科書がほとんどいつも振り仮名が入ってるから、振り仮名しか読まなくて、漢字の読み方を全然覚えるようにならない。そして、多くの漢字は読み方が多すぎて、全部覚えられない！だから、以来暗記カードで新しい単語を勉強するとき、表側で漢字しか使わなくて、振り仮名は裏側しかで使わない。

Understanding understanding.
Hello, dear reader who's correcting me, I hope you're doing it well.
I hope this information could be useful for you to learn anything you want to.
This is a summary from a Jim Kwik's podcast that I listened, I also incorporated some useful knowledge from videos and learning books.
Sometimes we need to understand something, no matter if it's for school, studies, problems, etc, and we don't know how to do it.
How do you understand things?
The first step it's to accept the ignorance, i'ts liberating and allow you to receive more information.
Have you heard that "childrens are a great learners"?
That's because they're like a empty bottle, they have an attitude that allows them to ask more questions.
And why does this matter?.
Well, that's because when we ask questions we activate the reticular zone of the brain, it directs your attention, that's it's function.
And after that you start to seek the answer out.
Questions are the answer.
When you want to understand something you can use a magic trick, it's called organization.
Organization is useful to understand things because it creates more information.
Use the method LATCH
You can organize thing by:
-Location
-Alphabet
-Time
-Category
-hierarchy
You can also switch between focused and diffuse mode as I wrote in other writings.

Extraordinary Attorney Woo
At home now we are watching a Korean series named "Extraordinary Attorney Woo". Woo is an autistic lawyer that after graduating as the first of her class, at the end, after to try in other firms without positive results, she can get an opportunity to work in a prestigious law firm. The interpretation of "Park Eun-bin" as Woo is simply great, and the rest of players is very good too. She has very problems with things that can seem silly for other people, like the revolting doors. But, on the other hand, she has an awesome memory and she prove to be very intelligent. In her actions, she is usually very espontaneous and she make funny postures. At the end, you will love her.

В последний раз, когда в Сомали был объявлен голод, погибло 260 000 человек - половина из них были дети, и тогда мир поклялся, чтобы похожее событие никогда больше не было бы происходить. Patient: I’m not feeling well. I’ve been having such a thirst for several weeks, so I’ve been drinking lots of water and been urinating very often, particularly at night. I’ve also being very tired every day, even in the morning after 8 hours of sleep. My trousers became too big for me, so it looks like I’m loosing weight. But I’ve been eating much more as usual during past weeks. I’ve always had an excellent vision, but now I’m afraid that something causes blindness or serious loss of my vision. Doctor, what is happening with me?
Doctor House: I’m afraid, these are the main symptoms of diabetes. We will do a urine test and will check your blood glucose level. It usually takes about 1 to 2 days for the results to come back. We will call you back and arrange your next visit.

Meine Tochter
Im September leztes Jahres hat meine Frau mich angerufen, als ich auf der Arbeit war, und gesagt (mitgeteilt?), dass sie schwanger ist. Es war eine Überraschung für uns beide, trotzdem haben wir uns gefreut.
Die Schwangerschaft war sehr schwierig für meine Frau, denn sie Gesundheitsprobleme hatte. In ersten Monaten Schwangerschafts musste sie dreimal dringend ins Krankenhaus mit einem Krankenwagen fahren. Im November und December musste ich eine lange Geschäftsreise machen und meine Frau blieb ganz allein für die Zwei Monate. Nach diesen schweren Zeiten waren wir wieder zusammen.
Im Mai war meine Tochter geboren, aktiv und gesund. In ersten drei Monaten hat uns die Schwiegermutter geholfen. Sie hat uns gelernt, wie man das Kind badet, einkleidet und ernährt.
Die Tochter schlief nicht gut in den ersten Wochen, und wir alle mussten sie Tag und Nacht auf unseren Händen zu tragen.
Jetzt, nach fünf Monaten von der Geburt, schläft und isst sie gut. Sie mag mit ihren Spielzeugen spielen. Sie hat schon einen Freund, die Katze. Wenn sie die Katze sieht, lächelt sie. Wenn sie weint, die Katze kommt rüber und schnüffelt sie.

Q&A
Q: Where do you live ?
A: I live in Miyazaki where the Miyazaki prefectural office are located.
It takes about 20minutes by bus from here. It's not so far from my workplace.
The reason why I choose this area for my residence are two.
One is that it is located between my workplace and my wife's workplace.
The other is it is very convenient.
There are so many shops nearby such as grocery store, convenience store and pharmacy.
I live in a rented apartment on the second floor. It faces the street and is noisy. If I have much money, I would move to more quiet emvironment.

Une rencontre heureuse
Hier, nous sommes allés au restaurant. C’était un restaurant qui a servi des plats de fruits de mer. Le restaurant n’était pas complet. Il y avait une famille à côté de nous, et c’était évident que c’était les grands-parents, leurs fils et deux petits-enfants. Il me semble qu’elles ont environs vingt ans.
C’était aussi évident qu’ils célébraient un anniversaire, mais je n’étais pas sûre de qui. Tout à coup, l’un d’eux m’a demandé si je prendrais une photo d’eux. J’étais très heureuse de la faire et j’ai pris plusieurs photos. Le fils m’a dit que c’était l’anniversaire de son père et ils voulaient des photos de l’occasion. Le groupe de famille était un group joyeux.
Alors, au cours du repas nous avons commencé à parler et j’ai découvert que les grands-parents habitaient dans cette ville, leurs fils habitait à Barcelone. Ils ne se voient pas souvent. Le fils travaillait pour une compagnie aérienne et ses deux filles habitaient avec leur mère à Madrid. Toutes les deux étaient étudiantes à l’université.
La grand mère était espagnole et toutes la famille parlait anglais, espagnole et français : leur langue maternelle était français. J’étais jalouse car je ne parle qu’anglais et cette famille était multilingues. Je ne dois pas être étonnée car en Europe beaucoup de gens parlent plusieurs langues.
C’était génial de discuter avec eux, d’entendre leurs histoires et de partager nos histoires. C’était vraiment une rencontre heureuse et ça m’a beaucoup plu : c’était une soirée très agréable.

Learning any language has been a challenge for me and you are making it easier to face. I don't know how to express how grateful I am.

_Guerra e Paz_
Este mês comecei a ler um livro chamado _Guerra e Paz_. É muito longo. Já li mais de 20 capítulos, mas há muito mais. Tolstói escreveu este livro. A história é sobre Napoleão e a guerra entre ele e outros países em Europa. Eu acho que muitos personagens deste história é parecido comigo. O que os personagens pensar e fazer é muito parecido com pessoas real.

Dancing
I started dancing in this summer.
It's very good to do exercise, specially in these times, due to covid 19.
You see, people stay in their homes without moving and that's bad for the body, "what you don't use will degenerate" they say.
However it was so hard to do it well, like languages, I though I was doing it right but when I saw how it was and all of my mistakes I was so embarrased.
So I did it over and over again and now I think I became better but there's a lot of things that I need to improve yet.
