Fertility Rate
I learned a new term today called "fertility term" . It is a term can be abbreviated as TFR that stands the population trend in a given country or a region. Generally, scientist recognize that 2.1 for TFR is basically needed to maintain population. The figure over 2.1 in a country can simply means the populations will be increased. I draw a simple table display TFR from six countries in 2022, I just searched them on the internet.

Among the six countries, china had the lowest total TFR at 1.09, which is even lower than Japan by 0.36. This finding surprises me because I thought Japan should be the lowest one. I used to numerous articles posted on the journals stating how TFR was low in Japan, how serious in their society because of aging problems. However, it appears that the main aging problem is in China. Additionally, it seems that more and more Chinese middle- class families are planning to send their children to the USA and Canada in the coming years. Given this observation, I personally speculate that China might carry out some stricter policy to limit local children immigrate abroad.

L’Homme qui sauva le monde
Presque par pur hasard, je suis tombé sur la personnalité de Stanislav Petrov, ancien militaire de l’URSS, qui a joué un rôle très significatif pendant un jour de 1983. C’était le temps, quand la guerre froid a atteint son apogée.
Stanislav Petrov ne devrait pas avoir été en service ce jour-là. Quelques personnes sont d’avis que la présence de Petrov a évité une catastrophe. Ce jour, le 26 de septembre de 1983, le système de détection de missiles russe a informé de que cinq missiles nucleaires avaient été lancés vers l'URSS. Petrov a douté depuis le début que l’information soit correcte. Pour lui, le lancement de seulement cinq missiles n’avait aucun sens.
Il a appelé son supérieur pour lui convaincre de que la meilleure décision serait attendre que les missiles atteignent le sol de l’URSS pour confirmer qu’il n’avait eu qu’une erreur du système et, en cas que cette supposition soit fausse, on aurait encore le temps pour lancer une contre-attaque. Le temps d’attente était d’environ 18 minutes. Mais 18 minutes peuvent être un temps très long.
Enfin, rien n’est passé. L’hypothèse de Petrov était devenue vrai. Mais avoir le courage d’attendre dans cette situation est un mérite important.
Petrov est décédé en 2017. Un film a été tourné en 2014 basé sur cette péripétie : L’Homme que sauva le monde

We're free people!
Today I woke up so late (at 10 a.m.). After I ran, breathed fresh air and went home. While I was walking home, I thought, how much we depend on opinions other people. It’s not okay. If we going to be free, self-sufficient and just happy - we have to understand, that we are free people right now. If we want to doing sport – do it, if we want to smile, while we’re walking down the street – do it. Nobody else can’t make our life happy. Only you can manage it.
But, I still think about people’s thoughts. In one side, I don’t care about it, but in another side – I do. I really try to be absolutely selfish person. But if I write it, I’m not. I wish you independence and freedom to choose the path you want to live. I’m sure, that all people deserve it.

Giovedì, un altro giorno
Mi sono svegliata un po' più tardi del solito. Ho finito il turno a mezzanotte, quindi sono andata a dormire tardi. Non mi piace svegliarmi così, ma devo dormire almeno 8 ore a notte.
Molti anni fa lavoravo per un'altra impresa e lavoravo di notte, dalle 11 di notte alle 7 di mattina. Era orribile e davvero stancante. Non so come ho fatto - ero più giovane e avevo più forza.
Ho un po' paura del 2024, ma contemporaneamente so che tutto andrà bene se continuo a fare ciò che ho fatto finora. Posso affrontare tutto quello che si trova davanti a me.
Tra poco esco a fare una passeggiata. Dopo essere ritornata, pranzerò. A domani!

Bonjour, Paris.
Melbourne s'approche lentement de l'été, et ma vie ici est en mode décompte.
Quand j'avais la vingtaine, je me suis dit que je voulais déménager à Paris quand j'aurais trente ans. Mais quand ce jour arrive enfin, cela semble troublant et irréel.
Je saisis chaque instant qui se passe en ce moment et j'accepte ce qui m'attend.

Early bird
Nowadays, I try to wake up early. In British English, it can call “early riser” this means a person who wake up early. I realized many benefits of it. Firstly, I can wake up feeling refreshed. I used to didn’t wake up feel good but now I feel so refreshed. Secondly, it is good for my health because after started this trial, I don’t have a dinner. I changed the eating time I instead of sleeping time. Then I can detox and clean my body from inside. In addition, my skin condition has been so good. Finally I felt one more benefit. If I wake up early, I have enough time to prepare to get ready that’s why I don’t missed a train and classes. Furthermore, if I have energy, I can study and exercise. In conclusion, wake up early and I’ll succeed. Early to bed, early to rise, makes my healthy, wealthy and wise. I think it’s a little bit difficult until you’re used to but I’m sure you will be able to feel better to wake up early!

Writing a long text after a long time
When was the last time you wrote a long text on paper? I've had to write about my thoughts for 5 minutes in school. I hadn't written a long text for years, and it showed. My wrist hurt. This technique described as "Freewriting” is told to be against blockades, which means not knowing what to write.
I would know like to ask if you have any advices for me to learn in English.

Les reseaux sociaux
Toute personne qui a un portable dans ce société a ou a eu des reseaux sociaux (n'inclue pas WhatsApp, parce que c'est fondamental aujourd'hui). Je parle d'Instagram, Twitter ou Facebook, par exemple. L'année derniere j'ai essayé désinstaller laquelle je utilisais, Instagram, et par chance j'avais reussi vivre sans cet app. Mais de temps en temps, je l'utilisais pour m'amuser.
C'est vrai que mon procrastination avait diminué, mais dans mon temps de loisir, je ne faisais des choses pour moi, comme lire. Ce n'est pas impossible vivre sans ces applications, mais c'est difficile parce que nous voions plaisir tout le temps. Mais je vais continuer essayer faire des choses que j'aimerai plus.

Contribuer à LangCorrect
Cette semaine, le créateur de LangCorrect est parvenu de le rendre complètement open source. Avant, seulement le nouveau front-end, tout ce qui concernait l'interface utilisateur, était ouvert ; désormais, le côté serveur, qui contrôle la logique de l'ensemble de l'application, est également accessible à tous.
Le modèle open source est fantastique à bien des égards. Premièrement, il permet aux développeurs, en particulier ceux qui sont indépendants, de bénéficier de l'aide de tout le monde qui s'intéresse à leur appli. En théorie, ça veut aussi dire qu'on peut trouver des bugs plus rapidement et les corriger plus vite, rendant l'appli plus sécurisée. D'ailleurs, il y a aussi moins de chance que des codes malveillants se cachent dans l'appli. Finalement, être open source augmente potentiellement la vitesse de développement si l'appli attire assez de supporters. Pendant les premiers trois jours de l'ouverture, heureusement ça semble être le cas.
Ce qui est le plus cool, est peut-être le fait que le logiciel devient quasi immortel. Si le créateur d'un logiciel open source a décidé d'arrêter de travailler dessus, d'autres personnes qui ont déjà cloné le code pourraient continuer à le développer et le lancer à nouveau (en fonction de licence, bien sûr). Attention, dans ce cas-là, toutes les données d'utilisateur de l'ancien site seraient perdues et le nouveau site devrait acquérir des utilisateurs à partir de zéro. La base de donné n'est presque jamais disponible même dans les logiciels open source, bien sûr afin de protéger la confidentialité des utilisateurs.
Maintenant, rendre une appli open source n'est pas du tout une décision à prendre à la légère ; surtout pas pour une qui est assez unique comme LangCorrect. Surtout, c'est une déclaration qu'on s'en fiche si quelqu'un décide de « voler » notre base de code et développer leur propre produit. En fait, l'idée de « voler » n'existe pas vraiment dans le monde open source. De plus, la plupart des applis open source ne génèrent pas beaucoup, ou pas du tout, d'argent. L'une des raisons est parce que comme on l'a vu, absolument rien n'empêche un autre développeur de faire une version entièrement gratuite de LangCorrect s'il veut.
Tout ça pour dire que maintenant si vous pouvez contribuer à ce site merveilleux, vous pouvez le faire ! Si vous ne codez pas, vous pouvez contribuer quand même en envoyant des rapports de bugs et des suggestions. Il ne faut que créer un compte GitHub gratuit. Ensuite, vous pouvez simplement aller ici et publier un nouveau « issue » : https://github.com/LangCorrect/server/issues N'hésitez pas non plus à laisser un commentaire dans n'importe quel « issue » si vous voulez donner votre avis. Au moment d'écrire, il y a beaucoup de tâches de vérifier les traductions qui ne nécessitent pas trop de connaissance technique.

Kürzlich bin ich in der Denkweise von dem Studium und versuche, sie zur Gewohnheit werden zu lassen. Um dieser Mentalität zu helfen, habe ich eine Kaffee-Abo begonnen, was mich hoffentlich öfter mit meinem Laptop ins Cafe antreiben sollte. In diesem Cafe sitze ich mich derzeitig, gegenüber einer Freundin von mir, die auch auf ihrer laptop arbeitet. Wir sind den ganzen Nachmittag zusammen hier gewesen. Sie ist heute Morgen nach einer Berufsmesse gegangen und ich wäre auch da gegangen (obwohl ich schon einen Beruf mit dem ich zufrieden bin), aber ich hätte keine eineinhalb Stunden Spaziergang machen wollen, was ich machen müssen hätte, da ich weder ein Auto noch ein Fahrrad besitze.

Le covoiturage
Qu’est ce que le covoiturage ? Je n’en entendu parler pour la première fois aujourd’hui. Le principe de covoiturage est de partager ou de faire un voyage en voiture avec des inconnus. Comme tous les choses de nos jours, c’est facilité par la technologie : grâce à une plateforme sur internet qui met en relations les conducteurs et les passagers. Le trajet n’est pas gratuit mais moins cher que l’autobus ou le train. Le conducteur propose un prix raisonnable pour le trajet. En fonction de la taille du véhicule, il peut y avoir plusieurs passagers. Le concept de covoiturage est inconnu en Australie.
Examinons-nous les avantages du covoiturage. Alors, les avantages économique sont évidents. Pou les passagers : c’est moins cher et parfois plus confortable. Quant au conducteur, le prix contribue vers les frais de l’essence, de l’usage de la voiture et le péage. L’idée n’est pas de faire un profit mais de rembourser des factures.
Je ne peux pas terminer ce journal sans mentionner les autres avantages écologique et relationnel. Ce transport partagé est bon pour l’environnement. Il y a moins de circulation, de voitures sur les routes et en conséquence moins de gaz à effet de serre. Je vais vous laisser imaginer les avantages relationnels tel que des conversations intéressantes et de rencontrer des gens amicaux.

Ich habe gestern den deutschen lehrer Danil kennengelernt und möchte dir darüber erzählen.
Gwstern war ich in ein Museum und habe ihn getroffen. Unser Sprach war spannend und sehr interessant. Er hat mir gefragen, woher ich komme. Wir haben erfahren, dass wir aus nähe Stadt sind. Deshalb haben wir gemeinsam sehr lange sprechen. Er hat mir viel erzählt und mir hat seine Geschichten sehr viel geffählt.
Ich möchte ihn wieder sehen werde, aber ich frage seine Handynummer nicht.
Kannst du mir helfen? Was soll ich jetzt machen?

My grandma
My mother was born and raised in my hometown while my father was born and raised in a village belonging to the town. The village is about two kilometers from the town.
In China, women move to their husband's house to live for the rest of their life after they get married. So my mother lived in my father's house after she got married.
My grandmother on my mother's side lived in my hometown. I never got to know my grandpa on my mom’s side because he died before I was born.
The middle school I studied in was in my hometown, which was separated from my grandmother's house by a moat.
When I studied in that school, I often went to my grandmother's house to eat and sleep.
Since I am the third child in my family, when I was a middle school student, my grandmother was already in her old age.
She had to wrap her feet during her childhood. From what I saw about her feet, I could imagine how painful she was when she was forced to do that. (If you don’t know what I am talking about, please look for the Chinese 裹小脚).
About six years after I graduated from middle school, my mom took her to my village to take care of her. My grandma had four children: two sons and two daughters. Her eldest son died before I was born. Her other two children lived in other provinces far away from my hometown. So my mother was the only child who could take care of her.
She had dementia in her eighties. She couldn't recognize people. When I came to see her, I had to tell her several times about who I was.
She told me many things she experienced. Most of them were about war, bandits and poverty. She died when she was eight-four years old.

Whether the Smartphone Makes Chinese's Life Better or Not?
With the progress of the times, more and more people owned smartphones. It gradually become one of the most important thing in our daily life. If you go out without a smartphone in China, it's actually difficult to move even one step! For example, you can't scan QR code to pay.(In fact, most of the Chinese is always not to take ready money when they are going out.)
Of course I can't negative the advantage of using a smartphone, but I don't think it really good to let it completely replace the traditional way. For old people, it may be a challenge to use smartphone well. For this reason, they can't do things that could have been done through traditional methods. When China has not relaxed the management of the COVID-19 epidemic, we need scan the QR code called 健康码(health code) if we go somewhere. Once I tried to go out without my smartphone, I couldn't enter the supermarket because they asked me to scan the health code. Although I don't know if there ist any better way than the health code, I was sad. By the way, at that time, I have avoided some scams related to scanning codes. They would ask you to scan their QR code and say that you won the jackpot but you need pay a certain handling fee. (Okay, everything has two sides.There are benefits to not carrying a smartphone.)
All in all, this is a rapidly developing era. And there are more and more things which have to be thought further.

Моё путешествие в Алматы. Часть третья.
Когда я посищаю новое место, я всегда спрашиваю себя: смогу ли я жить здесь? Это сложный вапрос но я хотел бы попытаться на него ответить.
Начну с минусов:
Шум - Это большой город, так что неудиветельно будет шум. Много людей носят наушники и панятно почему.
Опасный трафик - Я пробыл там семь дней и в это время увидел последствия трёх происшествий. В одном случае кто-то умер, было происшествие между самокатам и самосвалам. В общем самокаты и велосипеды опасные, так как в Алматы нет достаточной инфраструктуры для них, в результате они часто ездят на тротуаре. Кроме того, не всегда есть светофор для пешеходов, иногда просто надо переходить надеясь что водители тебя видят.
Интернет - Для меня это важный фактор. Нет ничего более неприятного, чем подение интернета в середине игры. Конечно я не играли в игры когда я был в Алматы, но заметил что интернет иногда переставал работать. Так же заметил, что мобильные данны не везде так хороши.
Плюсы
Красота - У меня нет достаточной слов чтобы описать как прекрасна Алматы. Здания, парки, улицы, памятники, горы на заднем фоне, ... все это просто чудесно.
Живой город - В Алматы много университетов , а значит, много молодежи. Все мои коллеги по работе старше меня на двадцать (или более) лет. я не знаю как обьяснить эту чуству но в Алматы я чуствовал себя молодшее, потому что вокруг молодые люди. Мне нравится атмосфера, которую это создает.
Различные языки - Мне показалось что большинство людей в городе говорят на русском, даже казахи между собой. Я вышел на кино и посмотрел фильм "создатель", был амерериканский фильм с русским дубяж и казахскими субтитрами. Мне нравится когда много языков на одном месте. Когда я был там в целом послышал шесть языков (русский, казахский, английский, немецкий, француский и кицайский)
Близкая природа - Да, в Алматы много шума, но есть и места где мужно убегать от него. Красивая природа всегда недалеко.
Милая народа - люди, готовые помочь и терпеливы.
В заключение я хотел бы сказать о том, смог бы я жить в Алматы. Был там всего одну неделю осенью, поэтому сложно сказать, честно говоря. Я не знаю как жизнь зимой, весной, летом, ... Я не знаю о работе, политике и так далее, я всё ещё не знаю ничего. Но из того, что я знаю, ответ - да.
