Homeschooling

When I heard the word "homeschooling", I wondered why students in countries which haveth system do not need go to school, since in Japan, every student has to go to school. I looked it up on the internet and found that it is for students who cannot go to school for some reasons and whose parents are worried that their children cannot receive good education. Then I thought maybe Japan also need to introduce this system, because there are a lot of problems with schools like bullying, and suicide rate in Japan is quite high.

Short Story 2

The coffee tastes like yesterday. The gray weather matches my mood just as the sunny weather did these past days. I examine the table standing before me. Several beer bottles stand there, empty, half-drunk, stale. While moving my head, I feel a burst of pain; the hangover still lingers. I glance at the coffee cup and see it is empty already. “It’s your fault,” I think to myself while dragging myself out of the room.

I close my eyes, and her features flash in my mind: the soft touch, the sweaty skin. I can see her by the stairs, pulling me by the arms, guiding me away from the group of friends who drank merrily. The room is dimly lit, and all I can make out is her silhouette, as though an angel moved fluidly around me. Sitting by my side, she places both hands on my cheeks and pulls me closer.

In the living-room, my friend squirms on the couch, the brightness of day and my steps waking him up. Looking up at me, he sees my face reddened, my demeanor giving away something was not right. “Is everything alright, man?” he asks, suddenly sitting upright.

“It all happened so fast. I could not really think straight, you know? It was unexpected; I did not know it would happen. I should never have invited her over. One moment I was drinking with you, and then we were upstairs, alone. You know I had never done that, right? I tried to resist, but couldn’t,” I stop, the confession stuck in my throat. He seems shocked at first. We stay there, silent, for a few moments. None of us wanted to speak.

The bell rings, and I open the door. Lauren stands there as though she wanted to throw at my face what I did. But she seems distraught. “I came to apologize. I should never have done that to you.” she starts. “I just don’t want to talk about that now,” I reply, trying to hide the struggle I feel in my guts. “It’d be better if you just left,” I say, dismissing her. A cry of agony and despair emanates from my stomach as I see her walking away.

It’s a week later, and my vacation is over. I sit in my assigned place, and the rector stops in front of me. “I heard what happened. The seminary is serious, and you do not seem to fit here. God has other plans for you. We part today.”

My luggage is packed and ready. Anticipating my fate, I had decided to leave it untouched from my arrival. I gather my belongings and cross the gate. Lauren waves at me. “The rector told me you would be dismissed today. I came because I felt it was my fault, and it was beyond my right to do what I did.” Deep in my heart, I feel a strange relief and warmth. It turns out God did have other plans for me.

Super Short Story

The box is almost full already. "I need to buy my son socks, these are the last ones," I think to myself while squeezing a few pairs into the few remaining gaps of the box. The package sits on the table by the bay window that overlooks the street. I like to pack it there, so I can see when the men arrive to pick it up. Once a week, we exchange correspondence - I give them the parcel, and they hand me a letter. I have not opened the letters for a while now, and they pile up on the coffee table.

My son has been gone for several months. At first, the letters were cheerful and humorous. He would tell stories about his companions and how the training made him stronger and more fit for battle. Once my son even joked how the mud was helping him overcome his acne. His best friend, Peter, slept on the neighboring bunk bed. They marched together during the day and kept each other sane during the lonely nights.

It all changed when he arrived at the battlefield. "Trenches have to be dug, and the rain seems to fight on the foe's side; my clothes have been soaked for longer than I can remember." That week, I packed wool socks so that his feet would remain warm despite the damp. "Today, we carried Jacob back after an explosion. I don't know if he will be able to hear again." Books made it into the parcel. "The colonel ordered us to surprise the enemy line tomorrow morning. I am scared." Prayers intensified.

The following week, when two men came with the letter and took the parcel, I was relieved. My son had survived. As I read it, I learned that Peter had not. I cried. The new letters rest unopened ever since.

From the window, I see two men approach my house. I take the parcel downstairs and open the door, but they are gone. On my post box lies one telegram with a priority stamp on it. It feels different than the letters he usually sends. I walk back to the house, feeling the telegram in my hand. "Should I open this one?" I think to myself. Glancing at the table, I let it slip through my fingers onto the stack of unopened letters. Standing up, I decide: "Next morning I will go and tell the post office they forgot to pick up the parcel."

Writing practice: covid-19

Covid-19 has ravaged countries around the world. The death rate is particularly high in some countries partly because the virus has cut a swathe through nursing homes, many of which lack medical stuff and staff.

Employees in hotspot regions have been cooped up in their houses. Unable to work from home, some are sacked by employers on the brink of bankruptcy. In some countries like US, its labour laws have given employers leave to cull jobs. Others employees are furloughed, being put on unpaid leave.

Some industries have too many workers, whereas others do not have enough. To keep the labour market relatively fluid, some firms encourage their inactive workers to switch jobs to fill temporary vacancies in other industries. Amid a shortage of migrant labour, airline employees are needed to work in hospitals; and rural bar staff could do some farmwork, switching from pulling pints to pulling up potatoes. Industries with such a scheme could reap the harvest because as social-distancing measures recede and the disease-specific demand ebbs workers can return to their old jobs quickly and firms do not need to suffer the ordeal of rehiring.

今日の日記は短くて、シンプルな日記になるだろう。

昨日は大変な日だった。日記によく言うけど、私は日曜日が怖い。家族の５人は集まるので、時々大きな口論が起きる。いつま腹をたてる父の大きい声が大嫌いで、私は怖くてブルブル震える。この家にいると、不安になる。

ここ2年間、私はこの家に一人で両親と暮らしている。二人の姉はもう引っ越した。私も寮に引っ越すと思ってて、首を長くして待った。生活はやっと上向くと思うと、結局、ここに暮らすことが延長になっていく。昨日は一日中泣いたので、悲しみが今日まで続きて、今気持ちがとても凹んでいる。

こんにちは

こんにちは
何について書こうかわかりませんが、今登録したばかりでポストを投稿してみょうと思いました。
長い間日本語の勉強を始めましたが、長い期間止めたり、繰り返して勉強したりしていました。
今回は継続すると決めました。継続しないと言語の勉強は苦しくなります。
日本語を勉強するきっかけは、それは美しい言語だと思うからです。
アラビア語とは全然違いますので挑戦です。
皆さんは何かアラビア語、アラブの文化について知りたいことがあったらおしえてください。

La lecture et le confinement

Pendant le confinement, toutes les bibliothèques sont fermées. Je ne peux lire que les livres qui m'appartiennent déjà, mais ce livres consistent en : ceux que j'ai déjà lus ; ceux que j'ai acquis inconsidérément, que je n'ai plus l'intention de lire ; et ceux que je ne veux pas lire en ce moment. À cause de la fermeture des bibliothèques, je ne peux emprunter que des livres numériques, mais les livres dont j'ai besoin ne sont pas disponibles. De plus, je n'aime pas lire les livres sur un écran.

Donc, si j'ai envie de lire quelque chose, j'ai deux choix : attendre la fin du confinement avant d'aller à la bibliothèque pour y trouver ou acheter le livre en ligne. On parle de la récession causée par le confinement et la diminution des dépenses. D'ailleurs, ma librairie habituelle devait solliciter des dons pour couvrir ses dépenses. Mais moi, puisque je ne peux pas lire les livres de la bibliothèque, et puisqu'on peut leur substituer ceux que l'on achète, c'est possible que j'acheterai plus de livres que d'habitude au cours du confinement. Pour l'égard de ma bourse, j'espère qu'il se termine bientôt.

Wie Musik hören durch die Jahre geändert hat.

Musik ist eine der altesten Arten von Kunst, allerdings ist die Geschichte von aufgenommen Musik im Vergleich dazu relativ kurz. Fakt ist: bevor der ersten Hälfte des 19. Jahrhunderts waren Notenbücher der einzige Weg ein Stück Musik aufzunehmen und nicht jeder wußte, wie man Notenblätter (gut) schreibt und liest.
Nur wegen der Entwicklung des Phonographs von Thomas Edison im Jahr 1877 begann man Musik zu hören, die nicht "live" gespielt war. Das war der Anfang der "akustische" Ära, die bis zum ungefähr 1925 dauern wurde. Wie der Name hinweist, in dieser Zeit beruhte sich das Wiederholungsspiel von Musik auf einfachen akustischen und mechanischen Konzepten.
Ab 1925 wurde die Elektrizität eine große Rolle in der Prozess spielen, denn man erfand einen Weg, die schwache akustische Signal durch Strom zu verstärken.
Danach, im Jahr 1945, wurde die Technik durch die Verwendung von Magnetismus noch weiter entwickelt und verbessert. Hiervon wurde das Gebrauch von Vinyl Schallplatten die beliebteste Methode, um Musik aufzunehmen und wieder zu spielen. Die normale amerikanische Familie könnte sich schließlich einen Plattenspieler leisten.
Der Tonband war eine andere Art von Audiogerät, der man um Audio aufzunehmen und wiederzuhören nutzen könnte.
1982 erschien in Japan ein neues Gerät, das die Welt der Musik total verändernte; es war die CD.
So begann die digitalische Ära, in der wir uns nun finden. Obwohl die CD noch heutzutage benutzt ist, wurde sie, nach dem Erfolg des Internets, gegen die Teilung von Audiodatei dadurch ausgetauscht. Damit brauchte man nur einen Rechner.
Heutzutage kann man mit einem Handy Musik aufnehmen und spielen. Wer weißt dann, was der nächste Schritt sein wird.

Meiner neuer Baum

Heute haben wir der Hofer. Wir haben einen Birnbaum gekauft, der groß aber schwach ist. Ich von ihn begeisterte ist! Wir auch des Eier, eine Vollmilch, zwei Planzen, und ein Dinkelbrot gekauft. Ich auch gekauft einen Krapfen und habe es gegessen. Es war lecker.

Beschwerdebrief

Sehr geehrte Damen und Herren,

für den Geburtstag meines Manns kaufte ich eine Armbanduhr von Ihrer Website. Als ich die Armbanduhr bestellte, garantierte die Website, dass meine Bestellung am 10. Oktober geliefert wurde. Stattdessen kam die Armbanduhr am 14. Oktober an. Der Geburtstag meines Manns ist 12. Oktober, deshalb lieferte sein Geschenk zu spät. Das war natürlich eine große Enttäuschung für sowohl mich als auch ihn.

Aber der Liefertermin war nicht mein einzige Problem. Als ich das Paket öffnete, bemerkte ich, dass die Armbanduhr leider braun statt blau war. Natürlich war ich unzufrieden. Ich sollte die richtige Armbanduhr erhalten, für die ich bezahlte.

Ist es möglich, die Armbanduhr zurückzuschicken? Wenn das möglich ist, könnten Sie entweder mir die richtige Armbanduhr schicken oder mir eine Rückerstattung des Kaufpreises geben?

Ein guter Anfang der Woche

Heute habe ich meinen regelmäßigen Deutschkurse gehabt. Jede Woche, am Montag und am Mittwoch, findet ihn online statt.

Dieses Mal haben wir über Substantivierung bzw. Nominalisierung geredet. Es ein sehr interessantes Thema, über das ich nie nachgedacht habe, zumindest nicht bewusst. Es ist aber ein gutes Zeichen beim Sprachenlernen, wenn man nach Monaten bzw. Jahren etwas Neues lernen kann. Das ist nur meiner Meinung nach.

I am good at communicating people, even I have not seen. However I was not good at communicating. For example, when I met my aunt after a long absence, she was surprised at my communicating. I was thought I did not like talk to anyone. A opportunity to change my mind is entrance into a high school. I didn't know anyone at the school, so I had to talk to my classmates by myself. While I did it, my communications skill was getting better. Now, I do not feel anything to talk someone.

Une averse torrentielle

Aujord'hui il faisait gris. Il y avait des minutes ou on pourrait voir la lumière du soleil, mais ce temps étaient courts. La température était confortable, et j'ai ouvert la fenêtre de mon bureau. Mais tout d'un coup, il faisait noir, mais le temps ne faisait que 15:25. La pluie s'est mis à tomber, et le vent s'est mis à souffler. On pourrait entendre le tonnerre et voir la foudre. Quel bruit ! La pluie battrait ma fenêtre et les plaintes du vent étaient si fortes... Mais l'averse s'en est allée tout d'un coup, dans la même façon qu'elle était arrivée. Le temps est très imprévisible !

Before read this article, I rethought some things. I started look to situation differently. I got, that a lot of things, what I did, is fake.

Ortiga, una planta muy chula

¡Hola!

En el texto de hoy os quiero hablar de la ortiga, una planta que he odiado durante años porque pica, ¡pero en realidad es muy chula!

Tengo un huerto y en el hay muchas plantas de ortiga, así que este año he decidido sacarle partido y me he puesto a buscar en internet información acerca de como usarla en cocina o en mi huerto. ¡He descubierto muchas cosas interesantes!

Ante todo he descubierto que se puede comer. Me he puesto unos guantes para que no me picara y he cosechado unos 200 gramos de ortiga. Solo se cosechan las hojas más pequeñas porque son más sabrosas y tienen más sustancias nutritivas. Luego las he lavado y las he puesto a hervir durante 10 minutos para que no picaran más. Después de eso las he puesto en una tortilla que ha salido riquísima. Tiene un sabor muy delicado, ¡me gusta incluso más de la tortilla con espinaca! Además el líquido que queda después de hervirla se puede beber como si fuera una tisana.

Como tiene muchas sustancias nutritivas, también se puede usar como fertilizante para el huerto. Mi padre y yo hemos cosechado unas plantas y las hemos puesto en un bidón. Luego lo hemos rellenado de agua y ahora tenemos que esperar unas semanas para que fermente. Al cabo de dos semanas podremos recolectar el líquido que, diluido con 10 partes de agua, se puede usar para regar las plantas. Además también es útil para ahuyentar a los insectos, así que vamos a matar dos pájaros de un tiro.

Hörbücher

Heute habe ich mich zu einem Hörbücherwebseite angemeldet, um mein Deutschhorverständnis zu üben. Ich habe gedacht, dass es einen guten Weg wäre, interessante Themen zu erweitern oder interessante Geschichten herauszufinden und gleichseitig Deutsch lernen. Es ist wie eine riesige Bibliothek in meiner Tasche zu besitzen. Irgendwo, irgendwann habe ich die Möglichkeit, durch die Ideen- und Geschichtenwelt zu reisen. Ich habe gerade ein stärkes Gefühl der Freiheit. Ich mag dieses Gefühl. Ich bin immer auf der Suche nach diesem Gefühl. Es ist mir wirklich wichtig, Neues zu lernen und entdecken. Das ist genau diesen Prozess, wofür ich Deutsch lerne : eine Sprache lernen um eine gewisse Freiheitsebene zu erreichen und neue Lebensperspektiven zu betrachten. Das sollte ich nicht vergessen, wenn ich die Motivation verliere.

Actually bored university students created μcentury unit humorously to denote the time of a lecture, which is approximately 52 minutes and 34 seconds.
Important note that μcentury is not a standard unit of measurement, So can be used ironically for an hour or maybe for 52 minutes and 34 seconds, who knows!
And that doesn't stop here, nanocentury exists and it's estimated to be π seconds! created by humorous programmers.
Can you estimate how many centuries this Journal took? μcentury, nanocentury or even millicentury, who knows!

アプリについて

近年、中国では、携帯のアプリの作りは流行になって、色々なアプリは作られました。しかし、アプリの数は徐々に増えるにつれて、たくさんの問題は現れました。まず第一に、アプリはたくさんの権限を頼んで、アプリの機能について全然関係ないの権限までを頼みます。たくさんのアプリは権限の頼みが許されなければ、簡単に終了しました。そんなことは人にこのアプリを信じさせなくて、その個人情報がどこに利用されるの？アプリの使用者達は当然に知りません。第二に、中国では、アプリ達はほとんどたくさんの機能を添えました。たくさんのアプリは全て買物や、付近の店を発見や、新聞などを添えました。チャットソフトや、銀行のアプリや、携帯キャリアのアプリまで、そんな機能を添えました。重複な機能ばかり付けました、気持ち悪いです。第三に、役に立たない機能ばかり付けるし、たくさんのデータはサーバーの中に置かなくて、携帯のメモリーカードの中に置きますし、携帯は常に空き容量不足と思い出させて、本当に面倒くさいことですね。そんなことばかりありますけれど、そんなアプリは使わなければいけません。例えば、いいチャットソフトがあるのに、友達が使わなければ役に立たないし、色々な使わせられるアプリがあります。面倒を感じるのに、まだ続く使うしかではありません。その状況の改善を欲しいです。

Ein gewöhnliches Wochenende

Dieses Wochenende habe ich ein Rückkehr an die Normalität erfahren. Am Samstagabend hatte ich Gäste zu Hause (nur ein anderes Haushalt) um Brettspiele zu spielen. Die letzte zwei Monate habe ich nur gegen Freunden mit dem Computer gespielt. Am Sonntag bin ich zum Rhein gegangen mit einem Kugel Eis in der Hand. Obwohl es eine Menge Leute gab, fand ich einen leeren Platz am Gras und habe ich die Sonne geniessen. Es ist immer noch ein bischen seltsam, aber endlich dämmert schrittlicherweise die Angst und die Normalität kehrt zurück. Übrigens habe ich ein Fußballspiel geguckt, was ich seit über zwei Monaten nicht machen konnte. Ich bin nicht sauer auf die Sicherheitsmaßnahmen die im Kraft gesetzt wurden, aber ich bin froh, dass ich wieder ein Leben außer dem Haus haben kann.
