I want to know the difference between " I am on train" and " I am in car".


I want to know the difference between " I am on the train" and " I am in the car"." I want to know the difference between " I am on the train" and "I am in the car."

I think they're just set phrases in the US. The "on the train" kind of doesn't make sense since nobody rides on top of the train here but that's how we say it.
