Entry of Today

As I said in the last entry, I went for a little walk the day before yesterday. During the walk, I recorded some things that interested me. You can watch the video here: https://www.youtube.com/shorts/s2-aGQdTMfw. I hope you like it too because I really enjoy it, especially on this cold, rainy day.

I spent a lot of time on Red Note recently since there are so many stunning scenery pictures and videos posted by people from all over the world. But I think I need to limit my time on it and try to schedule my daily routine back.

The weather forecast says it's going to stop raining tomorrow. I'm going to watch some plum blossoms in a big park, which is not very far from my home. I hope they haven't been damaged by the rain.

I think “because” is more natural here, but “since” isn’t wrong. https://dictionary.cambridge.org/grammar/british-grammar/as-because-or-since

But I think I need to limit my time on it and try to schedule my daily routine back.

more natural You could also say “get my daily routine back,” but we don’t really “schedule [something] back.”

I'm going to watch some{look at some | go see the} plum blossoms in a big park, which is not very far from my home. I'm going to {look at some | go see the} plum blossoms in a big park not very far from my home.

“Watch” is for things that change or move while you’re watching them. Since blossoms are generally inanimate, “look at” is more natural. The second alternative I’ve offered, “go see,” is the way I’d say it myself.

I hope they haven't been damaged by the rain.
