Entry of Today

I spent a lot of time on Red Note recently since there are so many stunning scenery pictures and videos posted by people from all over the world. But I think I need to limit my time on it and try to schedule my daily routine back.
The weather forecast says it's going to stop raining tomorrow. I'm going to watch some plum blossoms in a big park, which is not very far from my home. I hope they haven't been damaged by the rain.

I like the video, too. Somehow, I didn’t notice the bees on the first flower until I watched it a second time — a lovely surprise. :-)
Seeing the blossoms on the trees, which to me are a sign of springtime, it suddenly makes sense to me that Chinese New Year is called 春節 in China, since it really does occur in springtime in Shanghai and areas farther south. Where I grew up, January & February are the coldest winter months, and spring doesn’t come till April, so the 春 in 春節 never made much sense to me before.
