I've a problem that have been concerning me recently. But since I'm Mexican, I thought, "why not perceive this problem as every Mexican people do?: with humor!"
I've been using VR Chat to learn languages, specially Japanese. I felt fascinated with Japanese people kindness, so I often went to Japanese worlds. However, most Japanese worlds have a few question to let you in (to assure you're Japanese). As every enthusiastic Japanese language learner, I tried cheating on the test by using Google, but then an extremely gentle Japanese guy offered me his help. We became friends and shared our social media accounts to keep talking.
He used to treat me as a child, since I like teddy animals and make ridiculous mistakes in Japanese.
One day later, we were talking and he said, "いい子すぎてお嫁さんに欲しい". I understood everything except for this kanji "嫁", so I used my intuition: the kanji has the woman radical (女) and the house radical (家), and considering the context, it must be something like "younger sister"! Then, the whole sentence would mean something like, "I want you to be my younger sister since you are a too good child".
Now, you can imagine my what-the-hell-happened-here face when I looked for the word on the dictionary and it didn't mean "younger sister", but "SPOUSE".
I undoubtedly have to be more careful with strangers.
Younger Sister
I' have a problem that haves been concerning me recently.
The contraction with a conjugation of "to have" is only acceptable when the meaning is "to have <past participle>".
But since I'm Mexican, I thought, "wWhy not perceive this problem as every Mexican peoplerson does?
: wWith humor!"

I'm sorry some people can be so weird online! I hope you've kept your motivation to learn Japanese. VR seems like a great way to get immersion in a target language, that was a very clever idea that I'll share with others, all thanks to you :)
