The Story of Naaman

Naaman was the commander of the army of the Kingdom of Aram.
Aram in the Bible is the territory of Syria.
He was a great man in the sight of his master.
He had remarkable military achievements but suffered from a skin disease.
At the suggestion of an Israeli servant girl, they went to see the prophet Elisha in Israel.
Elisha did not receive him but sent his servant to tell him, "Go to the Jordan River and wash yourself seven times, and you will be cleansed."
At first, Naaman was angry and refused, believing that the rivers in his own country were superior.
Eventually he was persuaded to obey and his skin healed like that of a child.
Naaman was a foreigner, but he was healed through faith in God.
The grace of God ‌reaches beyond ethnicity and identity.
God is not the God of Israel, but the God of the entire world.
A person can be successful, but not necessarily at peace.
He can be very capable, but he doesn't have to be perfect.
His identity doesn't solve his pain.
His resources can't buy a cure.
Isn't that the situation of many people?
What people truly need is not abilities or resources, but to humbly admit that they do not have the ability to cure.
Salvation is not in the direction we expect, but in a humble gesture.

He can be very capable, but he doesn't have to be perfect. He can be very capable, but he doesn't have to be perfect.

I find "they" to sound a bit more natural if you are talking about a hypothetical person. Or even better, just use the generic you. Otherwise it kind of sounds like you are still talking specifically about Naaman. IE. "You can be very capable, but you don't have to be perfect."

His identity doesn't solve his pain.

I'm not sure "identity" makes sense here - maybe "achivements" would work better?
