My favorite food is Biryani. It's a Pakistani traditional dish made with boiled rice and chicken or meat gravy. We marinate the chicken in the yogurt with spices like salt, red chilli, tumeric, ginger garlic paste, cinnamon, cloves, cardamom, black pepper, cumin, coriander, nutmeg, fired onion, green chilli paste, fresh coriander and mint at least for two hours. In the sauce pan , we saute onions and then add marinated chicken and cook it for sometimes. When it is done we placed it at the side. In another sauce pan we boil rice by adding whole black paper, cumins, coriander and mint and a little vinegar. Then we layer one gravy layer and rice. People like to add some food colour but I don't . Then we stream it for 5 minutes and it's ready. :)

In general, you only need to capitalise a noun if it is a proper noun - the official name of a specific person, place, or thing.

For food specifically, capitalise brand names but not dishes. For example, capitalise Vegemite, Toblerone, Snicker's, but NOT curry, sandwich, salad, pie, soup, biryani, kebab, etc.

Adding the spices does not directly result in the rice boiling, so using "by adding" here wouldn't make sense.

Food colouring? Or foods to add colour (eg. sprinkling mint on top to add some green)?
Then we stream it for 5 minutes and it's ready. :)
