Though I fail at skateboarding, I don't think it is the hardest thing to do. My latest skateboarding is on Feburary last year before COVID-19 lockdown. At that time, my ollie could only jump very low. Even though my skateboarding's trick sucks, I learn a lot from it.
1. Don't do ineffective practice. Many people encourage you to train thousands of times and you will learn the skills. Practice is one of the important factors for success, but it is not the most important. I spend lots of times in doing ollies and at last I find the my feet were placed in the wrong place and those exercises were ineffective.
2. Learn from the best. I asked other people who were learning to skateboard for tips, and they didn't give me any good advice. Because their own skateboarding was not good, they had problems on tricks and there was no need to learn incorrect tricks.
3. Learn from the losers. After I failed numerous times and watched very many videos on the internet, I realized that I understood almost all the mistakes that occur when practicing skateboarding ollie. This helped me a lot, because the problems I had were not very common - I should have chosen the goofy foot position instead of the regular.
