As a quick recap, earlier that evening, we had been visiting a famous café that my eldest daughter had been looking forward to, but it had already closed by 8 p.m. As an alternative, we decided to go to a restaurant famous for serving traditional Czech raw meat dishes. Unfortunately, the hamburger served to my younger daughter was so undercooked that she simply couldn't eat it, and she became very upset.
My younger daughter is not the type to get over disappointment quickly. Once she loses her good mood, it can be very difficult to lift her spirits again. She continued to blame her older sister for choosing the restaurant and stopped talking to her altogether
Although our trip was still going on, our final night in Prague had been spoiled. I found myself wondering if there had been a better option.
Had I been in better health, I could have taken them somewhere overlooking the beautifully illuminated Prague Castle. The thought left me with a lingering sense of regret.

次女は一旦機嫌を損なうと回復がなかなか難しい。長女を責め続け一切口をきかなくなった。まだ旅は続くというのに、プラハの最後の夜は台無しになってしまった。もう少し他に選択肢がなかったか。ぼくも体がよければライトアップされたプラハ城が見える所に連れて行ってあげれたのにと思った。

Also note that in English, café is usually written as cafe (even if it might technically be wrong), but either way works.
